Experiencia negativa: I know you’re trying to force me out but an unexpected $355 on my rent? This is the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with a management company, and I’ve been a renter for many years. I advise not to rent any apartments managed by this company.

Experiencia fantástica: Had a leak in my apartment. After calling maintenance I was contacted by the maintenance guy within an hour. He showed up about an hour after that. Turned out the leak was due to flooding two floors above my unit. They provided the equipment to dry the area (a dehumidifier and floor fan) and left them with for almost a week. I've only had a couple of issues, thus being the only major one, and it has been resolved quickly.

Experiencia negativa: I am a current tenant and have experienced ongoing maintenance and management issues that have been frustrating to resolve. Most recently, my oven was nonfunctional for an extended period. Despite repeated requests for repair, the issue was not addressed in a timely manner. I later learned that the replacement part was not ordered until February 4, after the City became involved due to the delay. The repair was finally completed only after that escalation. In addition to this issue, there have been recurring problems with basic building operations, including inconsistent handling of trash, recycling, and compost bins. Bins are often not put out for scheduled collection or are left at the curb for extended periods, creating inconvenience and sanitation concerns for residents. Communication has also been inconsistent, and resolution often seems to occur only after significant follow-up. While individual staff members have been courteous at times, the overall management of maintenance and building operations has not met expectations. Prospective tenants may want to ask detailed questions about maintenance response times and operational processes before signing a lease.

Experiencia negativa: Definitely don't rent from them if you have the option. They always raise rents but never update their buildings. They usually take over a month to respond to maintenance requests. Our internet line was cut by the landscaping crew and there was no action taken to remedy the situation. We also had our apartment entered without prior notice and I came home to a random man in my bedroom and my dog terrified. We have reached out multiple times to them, filed complaints, but they know they can get away with these things so they just don't respond.

Experiencia negativa: Concerned. I shared more info to the email listed in the comment but am not satisfied with the response provided. Looking forward to what else they have to say. I am very open to ideas that would help bring down the utility costs, just an example. A couple years ago I was paying less than $40/ bill. And the costs have gone up significantly since Redside has taken on managing. My most recent bill was over $100, and this is in addition to multiple rent increases. I would also add they use a third party company for insurance and they may try to enroll you in multiple plans.

Experiencia negativa: Got my car scratched in one of the property I leased in Redmond Tudor manor but I pay for parking here single space . No response from management when I text them what happened. Paying out of pocket due to my car insurance deductible. Waste of my time for my effort to go to work . I liked my place yes the micro studio is small and the walls are thin , I’m a mindful person . But waking up to go to my car and seeing to lined scratches on my drive side door . I thought Redmond was a nice place? My parking spot got taken 3 times already and when people take it I have no choice but to park at the no parking side of the garage. Keep in mind I still park very mindfully so people can squeeze out of the small driveway. I just wish my car didn’t get vandalized that’s all . I want red side partners to lock in because my pockets will hurt from this repair that could’ve been avoided .

Experiencia fantástica: I’m a long term resident of Carmona Ct. And recently was the first time I needed maintenance for three repairs at once - a clogged toilet; a noisy heating vent; and change of ceiling light bulbs. I submitted my maintenance request and was scheduled for a next day appointment between 8 and noon. Diego arrived mid-point in the range and first discussed and looked at the problems and he consulted me on the level/color of the light bulbs. Diego completed all three repairs in one visit and was knowledgeable and efficient in completing all three. He left me a note telling me all repairs were successful and to call back if I had any problems. Thanks, Diego for a job well done!

Experiencia negativa: Overall I found my experience with Redside very underwhelming. I spent a year at the Allegro apartments in Seattle and would say that this was the least responsive property management company that I have had to work with in my life. They were very slow to respond to maintenance requests and seemed to care very little about ongoing issues such as a particularly loud tenant who frequently had the police called to the building, and unhoused folks frequently setting up camp on our front steps, near the dumpsters. I also found the fact they insisted on showing my apartment to future tenants, despite my request that they either wait until I left or toured my apartment on weekends, since I worked from home. While this is within their right, it was a major distraction to me in the last month of living at Allegro and I've never had a landlord do this before. To me, this was emblematic of a company that cares purely about profit and not the tenants that they serve. The only reason I am not giving this review one star is the unit I lived in was recently remodeled and was quite cozy, despite the other issues. One thing to note is that my unit had three GFCI outlets in total—two in the kitchen and one in the bathroom. Beyond the safety issues with this, it was also a major hassle to work around as many modern electronics are made to be used on GFCI outlets.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve had an ongoing issue with a malfunctioning dryer since I moved in. The dryer stops every few minutes, alarms constantly, and often does not dry clothes, even after proper filter and water maintenance. I have reported this issue multiple times over the past three months. Maintenance has checked the unit, but only briefly, and the problem has never been properly diagnosed or fixed. The same issue continues to happen. After three months! Plus when I was looking for apartments in Seattle a couple that I checked changed the price when I was about to sign the contract (more than 100 dlls). I also saw that I wasn’t the only one with this issue, other reviews report the same. But for my surprise they own a lot of the apartments in the area so I had to rent from them anyways. I won’t do it again.

Experiencia fantástica: We've lived at Park Side Apartments for 8 years. The location is great, it's quiet, and although the apartments are older, they are in a good condition and reasonably priced. Rent stayed low and maintenance was prompt. Great management. I moved out because apartments used to be pet-free, unfortunately I'm allergic to pets.

Experiencia negativa: We just moved in to the oregonian from a previous redside property one month ago. Unfortunately since our first night here we have faced aggression from our neighbors directly above us (they bang on their floor/our ceiling whenever they get upset with us rather than trying to communicate) We are getting reprimanded by the property manager for simply existing in our unit. We don't have guests, we don't play music, we sometimes work late hours and get home after 10pm. We have been getting reported for simply using our kitchen and closing our bedroom and bathroom doors. It is unprofessional from management to not take time to listen to our concerns and we feel that this issue has been one sided. Now we feel that we are stuck living here until we get wrongfully evicted for false noise complaints due to us simply using our apartment. Edit! Cassadee has rectified this situation and reassured us of our safety and ensured us that with proper communication we will be ok. I am thankful for redsides upper Management. Edited update for my experience at the oregonian. Alice became the new property manager and seems more capable than Lauren was. But sadly I am taking one of the 3 stars away because at 9pm on the 30th day before I was legally entitled to my entire security deposit. Alice sent me an invoice for over 200$ being taken from my deposit for false charges. Mind you due to the issues I faced at the oregonian Justin weeks was kind and helpful and promised us in writing that we were entitled to our entire deposit. Once explained and showed proof I did get my deposit back. Redside isn't horrible but they seem to be unorganized for the smaller properties. I advise to read into renters rights and the properties reviews and history before renting at the oregonian property that redside manages.

Experiencia negativa: Beware of mystery charges & illegal withholding of your security deposit. I lived at a property managed by Redside Partners for ~4 years. I caught incorrect charges on my bills with Redside numerous times during that span. They were always quick to remove the "mistake" charges after I pointed them out, but I imagine other less vigilant tenants are unknowingly paying "mistake" fees regularly. After moving out of my unit ~40 days ago, Redside has still yet to return my security deposit and failed provide any notice for why they were withholding it within the 30-day period required by Washington law. When I asked why the deposit was being illegally held, they added random utility charges to my bill. The utility bills were removed after I called them out, but they are still illegally withholding my deposit money. I strongly recommend renting from another company unless you plan to monitor your bills vigilantly every month.

Experiencia negativa: They falsely advertised that there was off street parking available for the apartment I just started renting. The truth is that there are only and handful of parking spaces available behind the building, there's a full wait list to access said spaces and now I have to spend an arm and a leg to find somewhere to park my vehicle.

Experiencia negativa: Everything was great while in one of their properties. However, there were several issues when I moved out of the property. The Landlord Tenant Act (RCW 59.18.280) says no deposit may be collected by a landlord unless the rental agreement is in writing and a written checklist or statement specifically describing the condition of the premises is provided by the landlord to the tenant at the commencement of the tenancy and is signed and dated by both parties. Because Redside Partners collected a deposit without providing me with a written checklist at the commencement of the tenancy, they were legally required to return my deposit in full. Further, the Landlord Tenant Act (RCW 59.18.280) requires landlords to refund a deposit within 21 days after the day I move out. I didn't receive the balance of my deposit from Redside Partners until 90 days after I moved out. The Landlord Tenant Act (RCW 59.18.280) stipulates that I could have sued Redside Partners in Small Claims Court and would have been eligible to receive double the amount of my deposit from Small Claims Court. I chose not to pursue a lawsuit because of my hectic schedule, but I regret this decision. Do not rent from Redside Partners.

Experiencia negativa: If you can rent from any other property manager in Seattle, try to. For one thing, Redside is about raising rents yearly in the name of “market value”. When you own a hundred bldgs you are controlling that value. There’s no improvements for residents’ units with that higher rent. Oh, except new 90’s vibe carpet with no padding in the bldg. hallways. Many of their bldgs are from early 1900’s which are cool aesthetically but come with built in quirks. You can hear every foot step above you & in the halls. Plumbing for everyone gets shut off a lot. One time during heavy rain, water came through my ceiling. Grateful for maintenance coming right away for that. Redside and their building owners/investors have zero desire to retain longtime good tenants, along with a host of other reasons to stay away. Many of them mentioned on yelp and google reviews. Your on site building manager may also lie and tell you there is never a parking space available every time you inquire - but then give them to brand new tenants.

Experiencia fantástica: I have always found Redside to be responsive to my requests for apartment maintenance. But in a recent difficulty I had, locked out of my tenant portal right when my lease was coming up for renewal, I was unsuccessful at getting timely resolution. Tension? Yes. Nothing site-managers were suggesting had worked. And when the initial result was being placed on a very-expensive month-to-month rental arrangement, I visited the management office in person. The slightly unexpected result was I was given immediate accommodation to see the senior manager, Justin. He took care of everything, personally fixing the portal-access problem and following up with assurance that, given the length of time I have lived in the building (12 years), I could count on accommodation of my needs! Stunning! I suddenly felt my alarmed response had been completely unnecessary. I was given personal help and personal responsiveness that was elegantly kind. Whenever a company puts my interests first, it is never expected __ not these days. Yet, that is exactly what happened here! The owner of the building keeps hands-on involvement. And the Ma/Pa influence showed! Thank you, Craig; and thank you, Justin for prioritizing my needs and assuring me of my value as a tenant at Redside!

Experiencia negativa: I had a scheduled apartment showing that I was ghosted at. I waited a half hour and got no communication on why I was left hanging. No one would answer on any of the phone lines then or the day following, no email responses, and their AI text service was completely useless. They also scammed me out of a $50 application fee.

They raise the rent when someone moves out and someone new moves in without doing any repairs or anything to justify the price increase. One of those companies that makes Seattle unaffordable for working people. Feels slimy to give them any money

Experiencia positiva: Posting this here in hopes to get through to someone! My partner and I moved out of Grandview apartments three weeks ago, which is managed by redside. We have been trying to contact our property manager Kevin Crabtree, for MONTHS. He has not once answered his phone even after emails and voicemails left. We have called the front desk probably 40-50 times over the last few months and I have gotten to speak to someone exactly two times. Every other time it’s voicemail. The two times they have answered they have just transferred me to Kevin, whom I have never even been able to speak to. At this point our lease is over, we have no idea where to drop our keys off, no idea when or how we will be getting back our $1400 security deposit, and the cherry on top is redside is still charging us $2100 in rent for a place we DO NOT have a lease for and have moved out of weeks ago. We literally have fully moved into another apartment, sent them our notice to vacate, did not renew our lease, and they still think it’s okay to keep $3500 from us. We call everyday trying to speak to someone and if this review doesn’t work the next step is legal action. DO NOT rent from here especially at Grandview apartments. EDIT: After this post Kevin was able to solve everything for us. I appreciate his help, but this was a stressful move out process and I hope they are able to make it smoother for people in the future. Kevin did put in extra effort to get things fixed for us and want to put that out.

Experiencia negativa: Out priced me in an affordable housing complex. No reason my rent should continue to increase 150 dollars every year for some air fresheners and holiday stickers in the office.nothings changed in the complex or my unit, the amenities hardly ever worked, the office managers had a high turnover. Been living there for three years only to realize they’re just like every other corporate landlord property, just scamming every nickel and dime they can out of people who need affordable housing.

Experiencia fantástica: This review is specifically for our building manager Jonathan C. As manager he has been extremely responsive to maintenance requests/concerns and has taken many efforts to keep our building in great shape. Communication is always very clear and thorough. From the moment we toured the apartment we felt welcomed and cared for as residents. We were skeptical at first to view a redside property based on some bad reviews, so it only felt fair to leave our positive experience so far. We are very happy with our decision to live in our building.

Experiencia negativa: Falsely advertised the apartment (showed photos of a different unit in the same building, which was far better than the actual unit). It was impossible for us to see the unit in person, but make sure you do if you can. Also, failed to refund the security deposit.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. Absolutely terrible experience. A Brand new building with an elevator that broke every single week and built so poorly I could hear every conversation my neighbors had and every step the upstairs neighbor took. A manager who doesn't respond in a timely manner. Raised rent well beyond comparable properties in the area and asserted their market study put them at the low end. All you have to do is look at any rental listings to see that is not true. Charge a $10 fee for processing rent payments and insist it's in line with what utilities companies charge. Also not accurate, all someone has to do is check their statements to see that most processing fees are $2 or less. Their lease violates WA law by mandating cleaning fees be deducted from the deposit for normal ware and tare. When I pointed all this out the manipulative response was "we know you're disappointed you have to move because of the rent increase," Nope, I'm disappointed I've put up with this crap for a year and you can't manage to comply with the law.

Experiencia negativa: Let me tell you something folks, Redside Partners total disaster. I’ve dealt with a lot of companies, some good, some bad but this one? Absolutely horrible. I paid their application fee ridiculous, by the way and they had all these insane requirements. Wasting time, wasting money. For what? Nothing. Total joke. They string you along, ask for everything short of your DNA, and in the end, it doesn’t work out. I’ve never seen such incompetence. I’ve dealt with top-tier real estate, the best in the world—believe me—and Redside? They’re not even close. It’s a scam. An embarrassment. People deserve better. They should be ashamed. Pathetic!

Experiencia negativa: I would urge against renting from these buildings unless necessary. They may not be the worst option, but dealing with management can be challenging. The living spaces are average and falling apart, appliances frequently malfunction or outright stop working, and maintenance services are notoriously unhurried. You'll likely encounter numerous unexpected charges, as they seem to have a talent for finding reasons to charge residents. In my case, the manager even claimed I owed rent for the last two months despite having already prepaid, which was exceptionally frustrating. In the end, they kept my deposit for reasons that seemed incidental. This experience has left much to be desired. I recommend taking and logging many photos on your move-in day and keeping them secure. Make sure to do the same when you move out.

Experiencia negativa: Typically useless management company. Reasonably responsive with small fixes (burnt out light in the laundry room), but get zero action on issues related to building security and tenant safety (incessant break ins, non-residents blocking the doors and trying to piggyback their way in). Install some exterior lights at all the entrances and gates (they lied to me and said it’s a code issue, which is untrue, 2 buildings on the block have done it in the last 3 months), and fire your useless rent a cops.

Experiencia negativa: Redside Partners is illegally witholding a large chunk of my security deposit. State law gives them 30 days after move out to return the security deposit and they issued it 39 days after move out for not even the full amount. State law also says they have 30 days to inform me if I am not receiving my full deposit back and why and if they do not inform me within that time frame I am entitled to the whole amount. This is once again another violation of state law from this organization as they are withholding a portion of it without any reason provided. All attempts to contact the office and the property manager are being ignored.

Experiencia negativa: Despite not resigning their lease or cosigning for anyone, Redside Partners and Air Apartments still spam text and email claiming I have unpaid charges. Any attempts to reconcile this are met with silence, as I paid my entire balance and left on good terms. Their property manager Audrealyn has given me no choice but to leave a negative review to attempt to get her attention and finally respond/do her job, and to dissuade people in the future from wasting their time by living in these apartments.

Experiencia negativa: They raise rents to insane prices nobody would reasonably be willing to pay (trying to charge me the same for a 1 bedroom as they are now listing a 2 bedroom), are completely unresponsive despite many different forms of communication and personnel contacted. Their greed is only outdone by their mismanagement as basic functionality like trash doesn't get handled (the compost bin hasn't gotten emptied for over 5 months, its likely they stopped paying for it). I consider myself blessed I never had to fill out a maintenance request form because I doubt it would have been handled. Absolute bottom tier management with the greediest rent increases (over 200$ in the last two years), Redside is a useless company.

Experiencia fantástica: After sending an application for an apartment which was no longer available, I was soon contacted by Kim Andelin to inform me of the unit. She sent me links to other units that were similar price range and near the area. After answering so many questions ALL DAY (truly all the way til night), we found the perfect apartment and she helped me get in touch with April who would be able to further assist me. Of all the leasers I have spoken with, none compare to Kim. She took in account things I was looking for and really helped me so much through this process. I am extremely thankful. Following this I was connected with April, who helped me with any and all questions, photos and updates on my lease! While the unit for Towne Apartments only had a move in date for the 10th of October, April helped speak with the painters and was able to get me in the apartment earlier date! She also helped me get my keys, questions about wifi, questions about codes any all the details as soon as I signed my lease! She really turned a stressful situation into an amazing, fun one! Thank you April!

Experiencia negativa: I had a pleasant time living in my apartment unit, but I had a disappointing experience with the property manager Khaleel and Redside Property Management during the move-out process. Communication was severely lacking, and I found myself constantly trying to reach them for updates. Despite following all the required steps, I haven't received any information regarding my security deposit, even though it's been a few weeks since I moved out. I expected a smoother process and more timely responses. Very frustrating.

Experiencia fantástica: As a resident for 4+ years our time before Redside Partners took over was horrible. Since Redside took over management the apartments have seen a great change. No more fire alarms 3-4 week due to the previous lack of maintenance, or the elevators not working monthly ec. The managers we have had, Lacey, and currently Sam have done a wonderful job and made our property a pleasure to live at, and without Redside and the managers, I would have never stayed. I certainly appreciate the care and communication we are shown by our Managers and staff. I have only great things to say about Redside Partners and the excellent management team they have created.

Experiencia negativa: I absolutely adore the space and location of my rental but working with Redside has been discouraging. There were many miscommunications upon move in including an incorrect lease, miscalculated concession amount, wrong move in date, and wrong keys (which honestly should have been a sign). The manager is incredibly hard to work with due to his lack of empathy, disrespect, and borderline hostility (we spoke on the phone and he was actually yelling at me). I find all of this incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable to anyone, but almost feel offended since I have a leasing background myself. Once again, I love my home and unit, my questions and maintenance requests are answered in a timely manner, but this management company is the worst I have dealt with after having lived in/managed 6 different buildings across the US.

Experiencia negativa: Worst property management company I've ever dealt with. Emails, calls, texts -- all go un-answered. When you finally get someone on the phone to discuss an issue, there is little concern shown. We've had issues with fire/fire detectors, domestic violence, and smoking. All of these instances were met with either no response or a very delayed response. When I finally got on the phone with Justin Weeks (Director of Ops), I was told at the very end, 'sorry about the lack of communication'... and that was the only time we've been met with even an ounce of care/concern. I understand that people are busy and I'm sure our on-site property manager is overworked, but having a lack of response from upper management is very disheartening. Horrible service through and through. Avoid Reside at all costs.

Experiencia negativa: TLDR: Don't rent with Redside. They owe us over $500, and we've been trying to get it back for months now. Not worth it. When we first moved in, our leasing manager was Sally. She was amazing. If this was a review for Sally, it'd be five stars. Unfortunately, Sally was replaced by Veronica, who is impossible to get ahold of. We moved out in April, and shortly after we moved out, we got notice that we'd be receiving over $500 back from our security deposit. We were told it'd be deposited within 30 days. It's been almost three months. We've called, texted, emailed—nothing. Recently, I called the office again to check on the status of our refund and was told that we hadn't received our check because we never gave notice of intent to move (we did). I explained that we had (and have proof that we did), and then she said it was actually because we never provided an updated address (we had). I corrected her on that as well (with proof), and then she just told me that Veronica would call me back that day (she didn't). I'm not sure what else to do at this point. I've been renting through different property management companies for almost 10 years, and this has never happened to me. I do not recommend renting through Redside. This has been an awful experience, and I just want my money back.

Experiencia negativa: **Warning: Avoid This Group's Properties at All Costs** Do not rent, lease, or buy property from this group. Their properties are often located in high-crime areas, and the management is notorious for swindling tenants with hidden fees and penalties. They use illegal tactics to misinform tenants about complaints and shirk their responsibilities as landlords. My experience renting from them was a living nightmare. Despite never being late on rent and informing them 30 days in advance of my departure, they are now attempting to extort me with bogus late fees and other charges, falsely claiming they never received my notice and that I broke the lease early. They are clearly retaliating against me for the complaints I made about their abysmal maintenance, constant noise, mold and fungus issues, and the presence of criminal tenants—at one point, a SWAT team had to remove an ex-convict from the premises. This occurred in Kirkland, in what was once a brand-new building. However, post-pandemic, the property has deteriorated rapidly. Google’s decision not to build its second headquarters across the street has only worsened the situation, attracting the worst type of tenants. The Plaza, as it's called, has become a decrepit, unsafe dump. Tech workers, beware: steer clear of this place. Don't let yourself fall into their trap. I'm relieved to have escaped that cesspool.

Experiencia fantástica: Redside has managed the building I live in for about 3 or so years now. Out of all the property managers we’ve had since the change (which have been a few) Kelsey has been the most kind and attentive one. She listens to the tenants, has an inviting tone that doesn’t come off as passive aggressive or annoyed and has multiple ways to be reached if needed. She keeps us informed and you can tell she’s really trying to make our building a positive place to live. It’s not easy, but she does her best and it shows.

Experiencia negativa: I live in the King Street Flats North building. Since moving here it’s been a constant pain. Between homeless people sleeping outside my apartment door, a half naked man outside my door, human waste all over the property and the biggest issue is mail theft. You can barely get ahold of the property manager or onsite apartment manager. I’ve been about living here for about 6 months and have seen three different apartment managers on staff here now. They have cameras up that aren’t functional and do not care about resident safety. For as much as they charge to live here you would think resident safety would be a priority. Save your money.

Experiencia negativa: Dear Public, Dont ever get a lease or mortgage with Redside. Here's why: Lacey Figueroa (1404 Boylston Manager) and Ashley Estes (who lives in Redside building I'm in) need to be fired immediately for harassment, threatening my safety, and negligence for not removing or pursuing any action to address a theft by a resident stealing my Blink camera. Her name is Shannon Lewis in Room 301 that occurred on May 8, 2024 at 8:07am after she saw me leave for gym and after she threatened me with a 9mm firearm the day before, and created a fire hazard by locking one of the basement doors to make it where she can more easily attack me. I have evidence for all of this. All of it has been filed in police reports and shared with Lacey & Ashley yet no action has been taken since. Not even an email of acknowledgement of the gravity of the situation. I'm suing y'all for $5M and pursuing civil and criminal actions against Shannon, Lacey and Ashley! This should not happen in America!!!

Experiencia negativa: Zero stars. Completely unresponsive when I am trying to renew my lease. Edit: they made me go month-to-month for 6 months so they could raise the rent. Units in my building are now advertised for 20% more than they were last year, with no changes to them. Multiple cars were broken into when they left our parking garage, with a wide open broken door, unguarded for weeks. Then they still charged for parking at half the rate despite the lack of security. Near Aurora of all places! Trash room is always nasty and takes weeks to get cleaned, only to return to that state shortly after since it isn’t regularly maintained. Community room never feels clean, always sticky surfaces and such, despite the little use it gets. Mail still gets stolen regularly. Main entry door alarm is always going off in the winter- and you can hear it all the way in your apartment. Back entry door doesn’t always shut fully. Trying to call over the phone is fruitless, just sends you in circles. Emails are ignored or responded to weeks later. I also find it very suspicious that there was recently a sudden influx of “5-star reviews”, all stating similar thoughts/names. These names, I can say I’ve never heard myself. Their experiences are far from what I or my neighbors have experienced. Interesting.

We have been shifting rents to reflect market rates, which in turn allows us to have enough money to make repairs to the building (such as the parking garage door) or maintain the building more regularly (as with the garbage room). While we do everything we can with the resources we have at our disposal, we do need help from the residents to help maintain the safety of the community by doing little things like ensuring the back entry door is securely shut behind them when entering or exiting. The uptick in 5-star reviews for our Redside Partners management company came after some of the Community Managers asked their residents how they were enjoying living at the various buildings we manage; as you can see, an overwhelmingly positive response overall. Experiencia fantástica: I was a resident of the Edge for about 16 months. I recently had to call Sally, the property manager to grab a package of mine that had been accidentally delivered there a year after I had moved out. I just need to commend Sally for always being so nice and professional and helpful as she was when I was going through the leasing process (out of state) and during my time there. I think she is an excellent property manager and I highly recommend Redside. Also a shout out to Johnny, the handyman for the Edge. He’s a great guy, always friendly and professional and communicative. Thank you both for your hard work and dedication to the residents.

Experiencia fantástica: I love my apartment! Been here a little over a year now, and I honestly can't think of a single complaint. Every question I had or have has been answered clearly and quickly. April (my property manager) is wonderful at her job! Would recommend and have to friends and family. It's wonderful to feel looked after with the truly horrific stereotypes of the greedy landlord, I have so many stories from friends. Not a single bad encounter in my time here.

Experiencia negativa: I co-signed a lease for my granddaughter at Eastlake Flats. The property manager company is Redside Partners LLC. Her security deposit was $500. She lived there 1 year and 1 month. Upon moving out her apartment was cleaned and she passed the inspection.We expected a full refund. Instead, she got bills generated through their portal indicating they were deducting over $250 for utilities. Strange since she had been paying each month per the lease agreement $60-$80 each month.A shared arrangement with all 110 occupants. No accounting was sent from SPU showing usage or the reasons. I called and spoke to the property manager. She said that the reasons were that SPU had a broken or faulty meter and that they got these late charges for the whole year. We argued the point to no avail and they deducted it from her deposit. We got a notice saying that a refund would be coming of the balance. Nothing came. Then we got another notice saying that ll of the rest of the deposit would be taken and that we owed another $86. This is when I started my campaign against them and will continue to do so until they refund the $500 deposit. I believe they are in violation of the lease and the law as it pertains to withholding the deposit and for not showing usage documentation.

Experiencia negativa: It’s been 4 months since another property management did their job and approved me after checking my employment and background. Jalyn made me wait almost 6 weeks just to tell me I don’t have money to rent their unit. What an absolute horrible person. I’m glad I didn’t end up renting in Queen Anne as I’ve had co worker and friend got their car broken in. I wish I could score this management zero or negative.

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly, understanding, and extremely helpful. I moved into The Carlton, one of Redside’s properties, when I initially moved to Seattle— I haven’t moved out since! They’ve given me years of a well-maintained and cared for apartment, and are very easy to communicate with. I feel cared for and respected as an individual with individual needs. A genuinely good part of Seattle, and the best renting experience I’ve ever had. Blair and Cayla are amazing!!!

Experiencia positiva: I have been a tenant at the Wildwood Apartments property for a little over a year and a half now. It is an older property, but Redside Partners has been putting plans in place to update and renovate things, with renovated units being available already. I was in a non-renovated unit that unfortunately needed repairs that ultimately would be easier to address without a tenant living there. Once the situation was established, I was given an offer to transfer my lease, without any penalty, to a newly renovated unit that was available within my building to get me into a more comfortable living situation and not subject me and my space to maintenance continually coming and going. When I decided what weekend I wanted to move, the main office and my landlord worked diligently to make the transfer process happen within a week. My landlord, Pre, has been wonderful throughout this hectic process and been a great point of contact between me and the main office throughout everything. I appreciated the efforts put into place to not only address repairs that needed to be done, but to also make sure that I was put in a situation that minimized inconvenience and was overall better for me and my pet. I also appreciate that with rent prices being what they are these days, this property is more affordable compared to other properties in the greater Seattle area.

She did her absolute best to introduce me to the building and its details even before I was sure of signing a lease. Very happy w my decision:)

Experiencia fantástica: Redside Partners were *the perfect* first place to call home in the Emerald City. The Montbel was a wonderful place and Harmin (the building manager) was seriously the best. I cannot say enough good things about this management company. I 12/10 recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: I lived here (Pike Flats) 2 years in a lovely corner studio and would recommend this location! Pros: great view of capitol hill neighborhood, two beautiful walls of windows providing incredible natural light, nice hardwood floors, great communication from management, reliable and affordable fiber internet (for the first year I worked remotely with daily video calls and remote meetings with NO issues). Building keeps a clean and safe lobby, secured package room and mailbox area, and rooftop with, again, great views and seating. The location is central to everything - walk downtown or to pike market or to link light rail and all the great shopping/eating/farmers market near Broadway cons: very few! Condensed kitchen with mini fridge and counter toaster oven, so may not be the best if you cook in bulk. however, I never had any problems with either appliance or the built in microwave or glass top 1 1/2 burner stove. No issues with heating in winter, but due to large windows it can get quite hot in the summer- crack the windows and get a good fan or AC and you're good, though. All in all, an awesome modern little studio apartment.

Experiencia negativa: The WORST property management company. As other former tenants have mentioned, they overbill for utilities. In December, it was a 27% increase in the utility bill which the property manager attributed to “tenants taking extra showers.” In January, utility bill represented an 84% increase with no explanation of how or why they changed their billing practices to justify such an outrageous increase (a violation of Seattle Municipal Code 7.25.050). Incompetent administration. I have had open maintenance requests that sat in the portal for months and then were simply deleted - not closed, just disappeared. They knowingly rent out units that have issues with flooding and leaks. Hallways and common areas are cleaned only when they're showing units. Absolutely zero care or concern for residents. I will never live in a Redside "managed" building again.

Experiencia fantástica: This review is for Luna apartment. I had such an amazing experience with Luna apartment homes office people, especially Shawn and the community manager, Evelyn. They helped me a lot through the move-in process and I appreciate all the help and support they provided me. The community is well-maintained and clean and the location is convenient.
