Experiencia negativa: Apartments can be clean but management sucks. They sent me on a three day wild goose chase to collect mail. They took money for internet and then never signed up for the internet to service the building. They need to get their act together. Update: stay away. The owners are bad business people and just want to stiff residents on principle.

Experiencia fantástica: Suhang is one of the nicest person I’ve ever met. He make sure my stay in one of the bonavista property will be remarkable. Every time I need something or something that it needs to be address or fix he’s doing it right away. I really appreciate him for helping me throughout my stay.

Experiencia negativa: Oh Bonavista. I rented with them for almost 2 years and despite some minor issues It was an alright tenancy ...that is until they decided to keep my security deposit by masking it in back utility payments that I was not billed for and a "cleaning fee" after moving out. Even after warning them that it's not in the lease, nor should this responsibility fall on the tenant, they refuse to pay me back so now I have to take further action. I don't recommend renting with them based on this alone as its illegal and an abuse of the security deposit clause. Be warned. Read your tenant rights and leases folks.

Experiencia fantástica: I wish all property managers are like Suhang, very kind, empathetic, solution oriented! From touring the place to my entire stay at the new building, Harbor Flats in West Seattle, I felt heard and cared for when I raise issues or concerns. He has your back! Quite approachable and sincere guy who you can also joke around with! You’ve got to love him after working with him! Keeping his contact information in case I and my partner need help with relocating in the future.

Experiencia fantástica: It’s been a pleasure working with Suhang! I moved to Harbor Flats in west seattle all the way from Kentucky and had to go through the whole touring and application process from far, and Suhang did a great job at making that entire process as smooth as can be! Harbor Flats is a beautiful and very clean place to live. I would 10/10 recommend it to anyone moving to the west seattle area. Appliances are nice and modern which is a huge plus and everything is kept and maintained well. Also shoutout to Eric who helped me in the process as well, both Eric and Suhang have been very kind and helpful! So happy to know that the team here actually cares for their residents (especially since I did a blind move and couldn’t really know 100% what to expect). Thank You Suhang, Eric, BonaVista Management and Harbor Flats for making this experience a great one!

She was super helpful showing us apartments and really worked with our move-in date needs. Solomiya went above and beyond to make everything go smoothly, and we truly appreciate her effort and kindness. Highly recommend reaching out to her if you’re looking for a new place!

Experiencia negativa: They do everything in their power to screw you. Slow to respond and not transparent at all. They will charge you a $280 cleaning fee upon move out unless you can provide a receipt from a professional cleaning company.

Experiencia negativa: Can’t get a returned email or phone call from Lillehammer. Staff no show for tours. Promise video tours they never send and on top of it all refunding a hold deposit takes over a week!

Experiencia negativa: I could say so much about this apartment management company. I lived at Cubix North and had been a tenant for almost 5 yrs. They took over the previous management mid- yesr and the transition was terrible. They kept trying to ding me for not having renters insurance and for almost 6 months I had to remind them each month that I was insured. In addition to them giving me a bit of attitude everytime I confronted them about my concerns. I would add I barely stayed in my unit for the main reason. The noise. I reported many times the dogs being left alone in units or the loud TV being blasted aftee 10pm etc. More could have been done to ensure tenants were being held accountable. The rent was not worth living there another year. Also they have no problem hiking up the rent. In addition to not having a solution for people's packages getting stolen. oh and I got my wall fixed because I told them there was mold and they didn't fix it. Last, but not least they wouldn't give me the full security deposit because they claimed my unit needed work. Ie painting.

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely horrid management. Cannot get ahold of anyone when needed. Apparently, according to their headquarters, we dont have an on-site emergency maintenance person. Despite having met the man and also him walking into my apartment unannounced.

Experiencia fantástica: Wyatt at BlueStone has been awesome. He’s always so helpful and nice. He’s on time and very good at communication. He’s made my dealings with Bonavista very pleasant to say the least.

Experiencia fantástica: I've lived in my unit for 10 years now and the current team of Adrienn as property management, along with Ciggy and Zach from the maintenance department are a big part of why I choose to stay where I am. They are exceptional when it comes to handling incidents, inquiries, and requests. Most recently Zach saved me a ton of headache by offering to go bring me an ice chest to use while my fridge had to be out of commission overnight. Since I don't have a vehicle this was a HUGE time save. I'm sure their jobs can feel thankless most of the time so I just want to take the space here to say thank you to these three individuals in particular.

I feel they take their time on the requested issue which helps us feel that they care. If for some reason they cannot complete the task in one session, they always explain the next step and give us a time frame so we have some idea of what is going on. They’re also really good at working around our schedules, which has been super helpful. Experiencia fantástica: I have been living in my apartment on Queen Anne that is managed by Bonavista for close to 2 years now and it has been a wonderful experience! Rachael my property manager has always been very helpful and on top of any issues I bring to her attention. She is always very responsive and takes great care of the property. Have never had any issues that have not been resolved in a timely manner and always get a follow up to make sure it has been taken care of, I plan to renew again.

Experiencia fantástica: For the last 4 1/2 years as current resident, I enjoyed my time here even though I Will be relocating to San Francisco on the 12th. The property itself is well structured, managed, secured, quiet, and just a short walking distance to other neighborhood shops, restaurants, bars, Seattle center, grocery shops like Safeway (just across the street!) The new property manager Racheal is awesome to have as our property manager! She is very professional, communicative, fair, patient, and will go out and beyond to make sure that all of her tenants needs are met. Now that being said, if you are looking to make 509 first your new home, I can promise you that this property would not disappoint you.

She was able to show us two buildings, though we had originally only planned on touring one! Rachel provided excellent customer service, answering all of our questions and giving us important knowledge that we may not have even thought of. She was very interested in our thoughts about both properties and was extremely considerate when hearing our needs and wants for our next home! At the end of our tours, she gave us a tape measurer as a gift for future measuring! Rachel made it very easy for us, and I am very appreciative of her help recently!

As a resident for almost a year at The Lanterman, I have mostly gotten quick replies from my landlord and have never had a problem go unfixed. I have even been given the flexibility to extend my lease slightly longer than I was planning when waiting to hear about a next career step. This is a great management company to rent from!

Experiencia fantástica: Rachael was my property manager for 57 W Etruria St in Seattle and it was so refreshing to have a property manager like her. She was always very personable, transparent, and communicative. It was nice being treated like a human being by a property manager for once! She really went above and beyond and I think other property managers could learn a thing or two from her.

Experiencia fantástica: Loved my place here. Can’t beat the views of the water, proximity to parks, shops, downtown— but it was also quiet and felt like a safe neighborhood. Rachael is the apartment manager and she’s great— easy to reach out to and responsive if something needs maintenance.

Experiencia fantástica: Management at my apartment has been very pleasant even through a transition! Rachael Nickson has been a pleasure to work with! I've gotten great notice before things happen and there are pleasant events! Maintenance has also been stellar at responding to things! This was my review for my 509 1st: Finished my first year here and so far it's been a great experience! Love the modern furnishings and updated feel, it's extremely well kept and clean. The building is quiet and the current residents have been considerate. There were even a couple Management is great and attentive and the apartment features tons of great amenities inside and out! Maintenance has been extremely quick as well even on small issues! The main benefit of the apartment has been the location! It's only 2 blocks away from the Seattle Center and it's been great to just be able to walk over and experience whatever festival is going on. The monorail also takes you to Westlake to access the rail! Another 2 blocks away is the waterfront with of the of the Olympic mountains and a long paved trail. And up the Queen Anne hill about a 15 minute walk is Kerry Park with great views! There's also multiple grocery stores within a few blocks! Pike place market is also maybe a 35-40 minute walk which is awesome! It has felt like a hidden gem while I've been here, especially for where it's located! Can't recommend enough!

Experiencia fantástica: I moved from Atlanta to Seattle and was able to sign the lease. The moment that I pulled up from that 3 Day Drive. Mr. Woo helped me through the entire process and even waited for me to arrive five hours later than I said I would be because of the travel. I wasn’t too excited about the size of the apartment at First because I’m used to bigger in Atlanta, but it makes up for it with the price compared to other properties in the area. I like that new I like that it’s bug free and I like that. It’s very quiet. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

He was able to show me alternate unit floorplans prior to me committing, talked through the options, and made sure I was happy with the arrangement before signing. If you are looking for a team that provides affordable housing with YOUR needs in mind, I would recommend this group. Mia was helpful since the second I did an in-person tour up until my decision not to move forward for personal reasons. Shoutout to this kween! Deana was very informative and assisted me with my questions and concerns. If circumstances were different I would have honestly signed, but I am still waiting for the right and perfect time for me to do so. Good job to these two women in the workforce!✨

Experiencia fantástica: My girlfriend and I live at the Rowlock apartments in Fremont and our property manager, Josh, has been more than accommodating ever since we moved in! Every request, question or issue gets taken care of so efficiently! Such a breath of fresh air to have a such a responsive and helpful team running our building. I also find the building is always clean and smelling good!! The mail and trash areas are always kept organized and I love the constant updates either posted in the lobby or promptly emailed to us about any changes or developments in maintenance. Definitely a very well-oiled machine here, I feel lucky to have worked with Josh, he is very hardworking and obviously cares about his tenants! I’ve also had the pleasure of working with Alex upon moving in. Moving from out of state can be so complicated and stressful so my girlfriend and I were so relieved to have Alex get us promptly settled in after our long road-trip to Seattle. He was eager and willing to help with whatever he could! Very thankful to the both of you for everything you do here at Rowlock!

I’m glad I chose to live in this apartment. Josh also organizes community events, such as brewery tastings around town and rooftop yoga, which have been a great addition to the living experience.

The application, lease, and move-in process were the smoothest I've ever experienced while renting. Micah even dropped off donuts on my move-in day—a small but thoughtful touch that set the tone for the exceptional service he provides. From day one, communication has been seamless, and any minor maintenance issues I had were resolved within 24 hours. Micah truly goes above and beyond to make sure residents feel welcome and taken care of. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: In 2024, Bonavista took over management of my building The Rev Fremont. I have lived here since 2020 and they were the third management team in 4 years. It has been a remarkable change in all aspects of living in The Rev and the positive changes have remained consistent for the entire year. The building is cleaner and long standing issues with the elevator have been fully resolved. The most notable and impactful change has been the property manager Micah Reynolds. He is extremely communicative, replies immediately, and fixes problems. He reaches out to follow up and check in on maintenance requests. I would pick a Bonavista building over any other at this point!

Experiencia fantástica: I'll start by saying that this was the first place I saw when I was looking for my first apartment. It was the only place I needed to tour to consider moving into. What made the decision so easy to make was not only the property itself but truly the property manager. Joshua Caile was such a proactive and positive and also easy help when I was looking to move somewhere stable. It was my first time looking for an apartment and the whole process can be quite intimidating. He made sure to run through all the details i needed to know so that I found confidence in finding a place that was right for me. The area is amazing it's right next to all the shops and pretty much any store you need its actually pretty insane how convenient it is. they just recently built a mini market in the same building just below the apartments and it is truly becoming a place that I have been blessed to be apart of. The community is great, people of all race and ethnicities to diversify a communal experience. I actually catch myself thinking I'm friends with everyone in the building I believe the property manager himself has a great eye on who he believes is qualified to be a tenant here. Usually in most living situations that isn't the case. I have nothing but praise for this property I so loved living at, it exceeded my expectations and I can thank nobody but Joshua Caile himself. Personally for me he had a lighthearted touch to the whole process of getting acquainted with a new living space and community, his actions express how much he truly cares about how the community can thrive as a whole even if we have our own lives and situations. 5 stars no less, great place to live.

Josh is awesome to work with and has made living at Anker a breeze and enjoyable experience. There’s now a little Market attached to the apartments and a gym - would highly recommend renting from here.

Bonavista does a solid job managing the building, ensuring everything runs smoothly - from maintenance requests to keeping the common areas in top shape. Any issues that come up are addressed in a timely manner, and communication with Josh (my building manager) is always straightforward, which isn’t something you can say about every building. After more than a year here, I can say it really makes a difference having someone who keeps things organized and ensures residents feel taken care of. Whether it’s handling repairs efficiently or maintaining a clean and well-functioning space, the effort is noticeable. Overall, Anker Ballard is a well-managed place to live, and it’s nice to have a team that stays on top of things.

Experiencia fantástica: I've lived at the Vibe/Fremont apartments for seven months but have rented for most of my adult life. Bonavista maintains this property well and I have found them to be very reasonable regarding the contractual side of leases, etc. The elevator in this building is used A LOT but has never once been out of commission during my time here to my knowledge. Seems like a small thing - till its not! Secured garage always in working order and common spaces are clean. The property manager is responsive and has the autonomy from Bona Vista to make decisions quickly and with discretion. Again - seems minor - until its not. It's been a great experience thus far.

There have been several managers throughout my time and I have experienced consistent care with maintenance projects, community-led meetings to address the city about our parking, and urgent situations with neighbors that necessitated management involvement. Micah Reynolds has been an advocate for both a personal emergency as well as a neighbors emergency by responding with genuine care and his own personal time. In general my experience has been management support for organic internal community building among us as tenants. If Community building and neighbor care are high values for you, I recommend their services.

Experiencia fantástica: Bona Vista has done a solid job managing Vibe Fremont. The building is well-maintained, common areas are kept clean, and any issues are addressed pretty quickly. For example, there was some sort of a paint spill in the elevator and within a day or so the carpet was replaced and the elevator full cleaned and detailed. Our current apartment manager has been especially great—super friendly, responsive, and actually seems to care about the residents. Any time we’ve needed maintenance, it’s been handled quickly and professionally, which makes a huge difference. They work around our schedule for maintenance, which is huge since we both work from home. Security is also well-managed, with multiple keyed entries and a secure package system that helps keep packages and mail safe. Overall, I’ve had a really positive experience with Bona Vista. Good management can make or break an apartment building, and they’ve definitely made living here a lot easier.
