Fantastic experience: Very impressed by HSM Property Management's quick and efficient response to documents that we needed for an HOA unit that they manage. I assist real estate agents and one of the items I'm often tasked with is working with HOA/Property Management Companies to obtain copies of the HOA Resale Documents. More often than not, this process takes 1-2 weeks to process and oftentimes it's difficult to get in touch with a representative if any issues/questions arise. This was not the the case with HSM Property Management. Chase responded quickly, provided clear instructions on how to obtain what we needed, and provided us with our document request within hours. Thanks so much for your excellent customer service and your willingness to assist in such a timely manner!

Negative experience: This place has a faulty alarm system that goes off all the time that they don’t fix. Nobody in the neighborhood can take it anymore. It’s insane. Nobody can sleep. Nobody can relax. People are posting letters on the window saying they can hear it from two blocks away.

Negative experience: They have a broken security alarm that goes off multiple times a night sometimes, waking up the ENTIRE block. It started weeks ago and they still haven’t fixed it. Incredibly inconsiderate to the neighborhood.

Positive experience: I have been working with Raj on a couple of projects around the common space of my home and Raj was pretty responsive most of the time. He was very helpful when it came to answering questions from the color scheme to the vegetation around my home. This property management could do a little btter when it comes to managing the vendors that service the community as they seem to only do surface items. They have not been paying close attention to the details. I am looking forward to the new changes that are coming.

Fantastic experience: Being a contractor in San Francisco for over 25 years, I deal a lot with management companies and boards of condos / apartment buildings . HSM Property Management and particularly their rep there, Kyle Sheely is a a top tier authority on all things related to property issues/ concerns . The main plus is communication, prompt concise and to the point. Time is essential for a lot of issues that come up and they are on it . I recommend them highly . There is a reason that HSM has been around for over 70 years. If you’re lucky to have Kyle Sheely handle your property, you will be in good company.

Fantastic experience: Kyle has assisted me with issues related to my unit (1818 Broadway, No. 202) a number of times. I will focus on the preparation of the application for approval of work/project on my unit by the 1818 Broadway Homeowners Association. Kyle assistance in the planning and application process was invaluable. He was readily available to discuss or meet to review my project and the approval application process. His understanding of CC&Rs was first rate. Additionally his practical knowledge and experience helped address issues specific to my project. One example of this was the timing for obtaining the building permit for the work on my unit. Another example was his recommendation regarding the inclusion of the replacement and relocation of the electrical panel in my plan. Kyle provided outstanding assistance in the planning and application process for the work on my unit. My experience in other work with Kyle has also been excellent.

Fantastic experience: HSM has managed my HOA for years now. From what I can see, they are pretty transparent and are great at responding to anything that is damaged or needs repair in the common area. The HOA Manager, Haoxian, who is assigned to my HOA, is very attentive and responds in a very timely manner. I’ve sent him a lot of email correspondences regarding concerns with repairs and also with general aesthetic inquiries for my unit. I’m sure that I can be bothersome with my emails, but not once has he made me feel unheard and unappreciated. He is very professional. With a lot of property management companies dropping their HOA portfolios, I am extremely happy that this hasn’t happened and hope to continue to have HSM manage our HOA.

Positive experience: HSM is fairly new to managing our building in SF, but so far Jessica Ramirez has been very helpful dealing with the several service requests I have opened on their resident portal. The portal itself is pretty intuitive. It is early in our building's relationship with HSM, but so far it is looking pretty good!

Fantastic experience: Jeff Machado, Vice President of HSM Property Management has been very responsive whenever we have requested HOA documents of him or asked him to answer questions we had with regards to the condo(s) we had listed for sale.

Fantastic experience: Today i had the pleasure to work with Chase. One of the garage doors for One of his buildings had a broken spring. Chase gave me a 10Min ETA. He was there on time to give me access through the 2nd door. I needed a car moved out the way to work on the garage door.
