Negative experience: I would strongly caution both tenants and property owners before working with this company. I submitted an HVAC repair request on 1/29. A vendor came on 1/30 and told me I could not run regular heat — only emergency heat — in the middle of winter. From 1/29 until 2/19, when the owner ultimately completed the repair himself, I was left without a functioning HVAC system and forced to rely on expensive emergency heat. The owner’s decision to use his own technician was not the issue. The issue was the complete lack of communication from management during that entire time. No proactive updates. No clear timeline. No notice when a technician reportedly attempted to visit. I had to repeatedly chase down information myself. When I called the office manager, Lorrie Geeslin, to address the communication failures, she argued with me about the timeline, insisted they “did nothing wrong,” repeatedly interrupted me, told me she could send me a job application if I wanted to “tell them how to do their jobs,” and then hung up the phone in my face. That level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable in any industry — especially property management. If this is how tenants are treated, property owners should be concerned about how their investments are being represented. Unless this is addressed at a leadership level, I will seriously reconsider renewing my lease. And I will have to relay this information to the owner of my property.

Fantastic experience: I’ve used Pure for 5 years to manage multiple properties in Nashville. They have consistently been responsive to me and the tenants, proactively identifying future issues. Would recommend.
Negative experience: Avoid at all costs! They charged us $1200 ($800 more than our security deposit) after move out for reasonable wear and tear (painting, cleaning) even when there were specific clauses in the lease prohibiting them from doing so. Plus, they did not respond quickly and in some cases did not respond at all to maintenance requests.
Fantastic experience: Rico was great with working with me. I have been approved from a home and have had a difficult time getting in touch with the property management leasing office and he has helped me multiple times try and expedite a call back. Very nice guy!

Fantastic experience: When we first applied for our rental, the process felt very corporate and a bit impersonal – we honestly weren’t sure what to expect. During our time living at the property, the house itself was great. We never had issues that required maintenance, so the hands-off approach worked fine for us. Where we really saw the difference was at the end of our lease, after a change in management. The new manager was responsive, kind, and immediately helped us navigate our unique move-out situation. When I dropped off the keys, she took the time to personally explain the updated deposit process answer and put me at ease. Despite concerns about the property’s condition from before we moved in, we ended up receiving our full deposit back within a month. All in all, we had a very positive rental experience, and it’s clear the company is moving in a better direction under her leadership and team.
Negative experience: The worst service as property owner, there are no words to describe but need to experience to feel the pain. The lack of accountability and support is staggering.

Negative experience: Horrible service from Loree n staff , play legal games was giving No due process of no renewal of lease , notice to vacate. Lies about when you move out to keep security deposit. Past 30 days, rude n liars don't recommend leasing from. Or managing property and the one person that cared, Kristian no longer works there

Negative experience: Family member is being charged, $6,600 to paint entire house when the paint was damaged prior to moving in also $3,000 for replacing normal worn carpet which she was pushed out 15 days before her lease because the owner wanted her house back to be a crook.
Negative experience: This is the WORST property management I have ever dealt with. Their management and staff are dishonest and rude. They NEVER answer the phone and when you leave them a voicemail message, they never reply. Instead of communicating with their tennenants on the phone, they send nasty threatening emails whenever they feel like it. They demonstrate as cold hearted greedy people taking advantage and extorting money from their tenants.

Negative experience: KNOWN/COVERED UP MOLD INFESTATION LESS DISCOVERED LESS THAN 48 HRS AFTER MOVE IN W/ a 2 YR OLD!!! Not even 48hr after move in (w/ a toddler) i discovered a HORRIFIC mold infestation purposeful hidden by fancy protectors and fresh plywood that was throughout the entire apartment. I know it was known because someone literally placed a envelope with the extra keys in the cabinet that was COMPLETELY covered in mold and with no mold yet on the envelope I am positive it was put there the morning I moved in. Immediately informed management and got told that everyone was out of town for the 4th of July and this is nothing they can do until Monday, 4 u be black mold. Then lied to that someone will come 1st thing in the morning inspect. Today is day 5…I have continuously called the specific property management, emergency maintenance, the main office and sent all property managers and the no show contractor, #50-#55 of the #125 Pictures of the infestation that included our entire AIR FLOW SYSTEM, REFRIGERATOR, OVEN AND ALL THE STORAGE FOR FOOD … i also made it very clear that I felt unsafe and that my entire family’s health is at risk and that is not okay and literally breaks the law. No response or acknowledgment. The main office told me that they personally spoke to my property manager and she will be calling shortly…next day, still nothing. I cannot afford to relocate my family and 2 dogs to a pet friendly hotel, in Nashville, on a holiday weekend, without any notice for a MINIMAL $900.00 and that’s if I was lucky. After my 10th call to the main office in 12 hrs, I was promised a call from whoever it is that is going to come and double check that all 50 pictures sent were valid and I guess not photoshopped. Hopefully that call comes soon because my 2 yr old is getting a rash all over and is starting to cough a lot and since last night I’ve been having constant nose bleeds, a constant migraine and severe shortness of breath. Fingers crossed that someone will do the right thing and hopefully before things get really worse or lawyers get involved!!

Our contractor was on-site within 24 hours and determined the problem was behind the stove and within wall cavities - areas not visible during our pre-move-in preparations. This was not a known issue prior to your move-in. Upon fully assessing the situation, we immediately released you from your lease without penalty and processed your full refund promptly once you provided your forwarding information. We wish you and your family all the best in your new home.

Fantastic experience: I signed on with PURE about 2 months ago. I was put in an awkward position by my previous property manager by placing frustrating tenants in my home. After several disagreements on how to handle his “ideal tenants” he quit on me. I did some shopping and decided to go with PURE. The relationship did not start off on the right foot and I am sure the property managers I was initially working with can attest to that. Fast forward to this past week where I stopped by the PURE office to voice my displeasure and frustration. After communicating with a few property managers here about my issues and concerns, Kristina came out of left field and took care of these matters within hours. Her work ethic, approach and delivery of what I needed done in a timely manner was incredibly impressive. I will go on record and state that she deserves an immediate acknowledgment for how she had performed this week alone. Moving forward I would like to be working with Kristina as I have seen how handles her business and matters. Thank you again for taking care of that frustrating position I was in and hope PURE compensates you for your efforts.

He resolved my issue all the while being kind, polite and very professional. Nowadays it is hard to get great customer service with a caring individual. So happy to have had such a nice experience!
Negative experience: If you read the other reviews on here then you will be reading a repeat of my review. Others on here saying pure property management does not communicate with them are correct. Their refusal/inability to communicate has costed me a few thousand dollars. Each time they say im sorry and that is supposed to make things right. Now my renter gives 60 day notice they are moving out. Pure property management NEVER communicated with me they are moving out. I found out 2 days before move out, and only because I received less than half of the monthly rent. It is clear from other reviews and my own experience Pure Property Management values making money. Staying true to the values listed on Pure Property management website would mean doing the right thing even if it's not good for business.

Negative experience: 6/4 Claimed to return my refund in the reviews however, they are disputing the application fee with my bank. **F ON BBB BE AWARE of this company** I requested information over and over the past weeks regarding a property they had up for rent and was informed that I was first in cue and they still took my application in after the other applicants had submitted a week prior to me and were approved. This company is unprofessional and money hungry!
Negative experience: Toured this home on a Tuesday and put an application in 48 hours later and they had already had an approved applicant from the week prior. This company needs to learn communication and professionalism.
Negative experience: This company ignores you and promises you they have no other applications. The entire time they already had someone else approved and scammed you out of your money. I have great credit history and a career job and this company still ignored me when I was calling and sending emails for a property for over 2 weeks.
Negative experience: PURE is stressful having to deal with when looking for a rental after spending money on an application and not receiving any response emails or call backs after leaving multiple voicemails and messages.

Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Pure Property Management of Tennessee. From the start, their communication was terrible. My calls frequently went unanswered, and when I did get through, it often felt like I was talking to someone who had no idea about my issue. To make matters worse, their fees are exorbitant, and they nickel-and-dime you for every little thing. I felt like I was constantly being charged for services that were either poorly rendered or not rendered at all. I still have not receive my security deposit since July 2024. I would strongly advise anyone looking for a property management company in Tennessee to steer clear of Pure Property Management. Their lack of communication, poor maintenance, and excessive fees make them a company to avoid.

Negative experience: My experience with Pure has been unpleasant to say the least. It started when we first moved in. We were given the option of paying a refundable deposit up front or paying additional money every month which was nonrefundable. We went with the latter as moving states can get costly and we preferred to hold onto the money. The choice was made via a simple checkbox with no additional context during the signing of the lease. (This will be important for later) We were told the carpets were cleaned but it was apparent the previous tenant had pets and the dog hair and dirt was everywhere so we had to purchase our own carpet cleaner. Shortly after that we discovered that the carpet had been pulled back from wear or the previous tenants pet which caused the tackstrip to be exposed in a high traffic area which posed a danger to my toddler. This took them three weeks and two separate contractors to get fixed and when it was, it was a patch job to say the least. As a landlord myself I believe in doing our best as tenants to preserve the state of the property. We even had it professionally cleaned by the highest rated cleaner in the area on move out. Despite this we were stuck with a massive move out bill with professional cleaning added although I had told them I already had it cleaned. They also billed me to have previous issues fixed by me like peeling linoleum in the kitchen. I was also charged for the patching and repainting of TEN walls. We only have three mounted TV's so I find it extremely difficult to believe that there were ten walls that were damaged beyond reasonable use. The cherry on top is that all that money we paid in addition to the rent in the form of a "nonrefundable deposit", was not counted towards anything. All in all terrible experience and would not recommend renting from them to any family or friends. Listen to the negative reviews and stay away.

Due to being on a time crunch with my current to new living situation, I was really stressed about coordinating information back and forth between myself, my two new roommates that all have conflicting work schedules, and with Ariel but he made it SO EASY! I am new to renting so I was nervous about the whole process but Ariel provides reassurance through action. He was extremely patient with all of my questions (I asked and called him A LOT), he was respectful, and I feel as though he genuinely listens to each of his clients and adjusts his process to fit their needs. We were laughing together our last call! He was very considerate of our time constraints and expedited the process for us which has allowed us to sleep well knowing that we will be able to move in on the date that we asked for. Great response time to emails as well! I am only allowed to give him a 5 out of 5 but if I could exceed that, I would give him more! He definitely went above and beyond, stepping up to help answer as much as he could, whereas other people would have told me that I'd have to ask someone else or given me another number to call. Negative experience: This company is all about making money. After a 12 month rental on my Nashville, TN townhouse, they charged me a fortune to "Spot Clean" and "Spot Paint" when the tenant moved out. After I saw the halfway cleaned / spot painted walls in my townhouse, I requested for them to come back to clean. I was asking for a premium price due to location. I told them they can't see a dirty car and expect top dollar from the buyer. They charged me again to come out to "Clean and paint" and threatened me to a collection agency for not paying them to do what I paid them to do the first time. The agent totally agreed that it was a halfway cleaning job and has taken too long to get it cleaned! They used a tree company to clean, an air-conditioning company to paint. They just want the monthly income that is mailed in or electronically sent. Beware of Management Companies. Check them out before signing them. Pure acquired the old management company and lost all respect. Never again will I use this company. Shame on anyone who hires them without checking out their "5 Star" rating!!! They are not even associated with the BBB. Now I see why!! I do not recommend this company to anyone. They also claim they have 10,000+ 5-Star Reviews 4.65 Average in 2024. Where are the reviews
Negative experience: Cleared my schedule and drove thirty minutes to a self-tour that was confirmed by Pure several days prior. No one answered my texts or calls to get the key code to get into the home. A frustrating waste of time

Positive experience: Unit I rented was ok overall, did not fix the deck until I moved out. Only received half of my deposit back. They claimed I did not paint over spots but the paint left was from 2017 and not usable to fixing. Took over 30 days to get deposit back
