After looking into your situation, we can see that our team connected you with multiple agents and investors shortly after you reached out, and one of those agents did connect with you and submit for an offer. However, we also see that when you let us know you weren't satisfied and requested a new agent match, our follow-up was not as timely as it should have been. That's on us.
We're also concerned to hear that someone communicated that Clever was "not interested in bidding," as that does not reflect how our service works. We are looking into this internally to understand where that miscommunication originated so we can make sure it doesn't happen again. We are also reviewing our follow-up process so that when a customer requests a new match, it is acted on promptly. No one should feel like they've been left waiting.

2 months ago Experiencia negativa: Don't waste your time. Communication was greatly lacking from the investors. Clever only sent me a few names. Never connected with 2 of them. One never returned my call after I gave all my info to him. Clever said they couldn't help me, after saying they would find me more investors. If you use realtors, it's better to use local ones not ones on the other end of the USA.

After looking into your situation, we can see that our team connected you with several investors over the course of about a week, and that you were proactive in reaching out to them on your end. Unfortunately, several of those investors did not follow through with timely responses, and we should have done more to hold them accountable and keep you informed along the way. When you came back to us asking for additional investor matches, we did not close the loop with a clear and timely answer. That's not the experience we want for our customers.
This is an area we are actively working to improve. We are reviewing our investor communication standards to ensure that the investors in our network follow up with customers in a timely manner, and we are updating our internal processes so that when we're unable to provide additional matches, we communicate that transparently and promptly rather than leaving customers waiting.

We had an opportunity to interview a few agents to make our selection based on our specific criteria. Given that the 2025 real estate market was very sluggish we still sold our house with the help of our agent Faisal Kakar within 3 months. 4 months ago Experiencia negativa: I contacted Clever specifically because of their advertised 1.5% listing model. One of my only requests upfront was to communicate by email only, not by phone, due to my work schedule. Despite this, every agent who reached out immediately started calling, and only followed up by email afterward. Instead of clearly answering questions about pricing structure and scope of services, the communication focused on scheduling calls and providing unsolicited pricing opinions. It became clear that Clever operates primarily as a referral platform, connecting sellers to traditional commission-based agents, rather than offering a transparent, seller-centric alternative to standard listings. This may work for those simply looking to be matched with a Realtor, but expectations should be managed if you’re responding specifically to the 1.5% messaging.

4 months ago Experiencia negativa: DO NOT USE! They are the worse. Do not even put your information, they won’t stop calling you. They are not a real estate company they give your information to other companies. Then you ask to stop calling you and they keep calling you. Nope they keep calling you. Don’t do business with these people, I’m warning you. But don’t take my word for it. Go ahead do it, it will be the biggest mistake you will ever make.

5 months ago Experiencia fantástica: The whole reason for this review is because of Claudio Zamora with House Love Treatment Buyers. He was calming and knowledgeable and exactly what I needed. I was tasked to sell a house I hadn't lived in for years. I was stressed out about the process. Unsure if I should get an inspector etc. Claudio helped me from the start to understand he was going to get this done and what I should do. He secured the sale, above the competition. He reassured me about the process and basically held my hand through it all. Everything happened as he said it would and he had great patience with me when I expressed any concerns. For example, you have to be prepared to show the house many times (so be ready). Hlt (homelovetreatment) was a lovely company to work with. They were always professional. If you are reading this, I've read the bad reviews about this process and yes it scared me. But HLT and Claudio were a dream to work with. I appreciate Clever Real Estate for finding the best match. I hope you get Claudio Zamora to help you too. His knowledge base on the process and guidance were solid. I will always remember this difficult process was made to be a happy memory because of this team.

5 months ago Experiencia fantástica: From the time that my wife and I made the decision to move from NC to Indiana, up until the time we closed 6 months later, our realtor, Ellisha Mayers, was absolutely Top Notch! The ongoing communication before, during, and after the closing, made this massive move my best move ever. As an Army Veteran, and being used to having the Army do everything for me, I can honestly say Ellisha surpassed that standard that I was so used to. 6 months ago Experiencia fantástica: Clever steered several people to us. Josh Mills contacted us on their behalf and said he could find us investors right away. We signed with him and had the worst experience. We never met in person, he sent documents for signing and never offered to explain anything. He said he fielded various offers , over the phone but nothing was ever sent in writing, only verbal. He said the highest was an outside investor he has used before. We accepted the offer. We signed the contract. He never said he had a relationship with the buyer. The pre closing sellers disclosure document was cc’d to him. He never commented on it and not sure he read and he didn’t offer to come to closing so we had no one to explain anything to us as we signed remotely. It turns out the disclosure financials were off by 22k and so is the deed. He takes no responsibility for anything that happened. We signed erroneous documents. Lastly, I learned after funding, that the investor and our realtor are both employed by the same brokerage. He never disclosed that to us or had us sign an intermediary document and letting us now how it would be handled by the broker. I have an email thread with back channel emails from Josh Mills to his co-worker, (our buyer) asking our buyer “when closing was going to happen”. The broker is RELO RADAR and I emailed their COO and broker to get a response on why I wasn’t informed of the potential conflict of interest and intermediary agency or hidden dual agency, and never received a response. Clever Homes was the intermediary and is how we were introduced to our realtor. Once they learned of our poor experience, the CEO tracked what occurred and personally contacted us directly to try and mediate and repair what happened. He took a lot of time to learn what occurred and then tried to find the best path forward for us. Clever ended up being the last line of defense for us against the title company and the brokerage. New safeguards are being put in place due to what happened with us. I know that no one can prevent bad things from happening in life, But Clever real estate did do their very best to try and at least hold some people accountable for not meeting Clevers standards. I’m very grateful that the CEO cared enough to personally intervene on our behalf.

6 months ago Experiencia fantástica: The company Clever themselves have been great and responsive, however, we have been partnered with two agents and they have been some of the most bizarre experiences we have had in over 20 years buying and selling homes. We are in a very small market with a limited supply of realtors who are savvy and professional so the realtors we have received are people who are about an hour away from us and they have been interesting to say the least.

I’ll admit, I was initially quite apprehensive—this was my first time going through a closing process without the familiarity of a physical office setting. I wasn’t sure what to expect, and I had concerns about how seamless and secure everything would be in a remote format. But from start to finish, the experience turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The team at Closing Title demonstrated exceptional professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail. Every step of the process was clearly explained, and their communication was timely and reassuring. 1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: Got connected with 3 agents. Asked for more never got them. The agent i liked stopped responding after I had to many questions about the contract. Other agent priced home to low. And the other one i have yet to talk to considering she's on vacation. Wish they had more options. But they were all nice agents n the end

The 3rd one worked, Pamela Porazzo, and sold my home in a timely manner. Pamela did an outstanding job. Clever real estate agent referrals was questionable, only 1 out of 3 were acceptable.

She had everything professionally prepared for our first meeting and worked diligently through the entire selling process. She was always prompt responding to any questions I had. She was very considerate of my expectations for pricing and timing of selling my house, and "worked for me". The pictures for the listing were fabulous and contributed to the quick sale of my house. 1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: Highly recommended, one of the best agencies to find a competent and dedicated, full service real estate agent I found Clever while searching on how to save on commission expenses while selling properties. I was really impressed by the savings I made, a full 1% (at least) over the current, ongoing commission rate, with a full service real estate agent. With full service, I mean advertising, arranging for open houses, sign boards, professional pictures all at agent's expense etc., I was able to choose from several agents where I was given a chance to interview, personally talk to them and then make the selection. Clever sent me weekly messages, asking for any additional support, feedback and encouragement in the times for waiting. I firmly believe selling a property is much harder than buying as it entails lots of effort and dedication from the agent. I am very pleased with Clever and would highly recommend them over the known agents who take advantage and do not actively involve in making sales. I chose Jonathan Granlund from Real brokers LLC, in McLean VA. He is an extremely active real estate agent who helped me sell not just one but two properties almoat at the same time. Jon was very responsive, who would provid me summary on weekly basis, and his next course of action. I'm so glad that Clever gave me the opportunity to have Jonathan work with me to sell the properties at a great price during the days when people may be shying away from buying due to interest rate cuts down the road. Bravo Jonathan and Clever real estate, you saved me a bundle.

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: This is the second time we have used an agent through Clever, in 2 different states. I did interview before hiring both agents we chose. If the first group of agents they provide aren't a fit, you can ask for additional names. Services provided by both agents included everything provided by a full-commission agent and sometimes more - professional photos, floor plans, full-color sign box sheets, video walk-through. The agents were always available by phone, text, or email. Both agents we selected were experienced agents with years of experience and offered sound advice when we had little issues arise. I would definitely use Clever again.

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: All it took was a call. Just spoke with the Clever team, they set me up with 3 agents who were willing to help with listing at 1.5% commissions. I spoke with all 3 agents and they all were really good. It was a hard choice selecting one but I went ahead with one and it turned out to be a good decision. Was able to sell the house at a good price and I'm really happy with the experience.

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: The process was extremely easy. I just answered a few questions and the next day one or two highly qualified agents numbers were texted to me. At that point you end up dealing with the agent the same way normally would, directly with them… only you just saved 1 to 1.5 percent… couldn’t be easier. This is my second house selling this way and it worked perfectly each time. Well done Clever.

My realtor, Matt Brooks, with Realty Experts, was always available, professional and helpful. Working with him was easy, he's experienced, proactive and covers all the bases. A home run! Without a doubt, I would choose Matt again, a genuinely nice person and a super realtor.

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: We had a very good experience with our Realtor Kelly. Our home was liked by everyone that came out to see it BUT the dirt road we lived on was a tough sell. We most likely would not have found Kelly without Clever. It worked out well for us.
2 years ago Experiencia negativa: You get what you pay for. No help with staging. No help with HOA. Might as well sell it myself. So you end up paying 4% instead of 5%. I’d pay 5 to get help getting my house in order. After reading what clever real-estate says on their web site, why are they saying full service agents offered yet home prep not included. Bull.

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: At first I was skeptical because a couple of investors made phone appointments with me and never showed up. Then I got an email from Wilk agency and they followed through with everything. They actually sold our condo in ONE day! We got a cash offer at almost list price. The commission price was less than the going commission rate and they even got us an attorney for about half what a real estate attorney usually charges. The whole process went very smoothly and we didn’t even have to be there for the closing. Selling your house and moving is always a stressful process, but they made it is seamless as possible.
