With surprises lurking around each corner, it is a wonder how anyone can keep their head on their shoulders throughout the entire journey. With this being my first home buying venture, I thought I'd done my research, but there was so much more waiting for me. If I tried to go it alone, I would not be sitting in my first home today. Angie was able to make the process of buying a home as seamless as it could be. She let me know in advance what obstacles I would face. Experiencia fantástica: After getting the runaround from some other management companies in the area, Jessica and CeCe made my first time moving extremely easy and quick! I was allowed to do a self tour and check out the apartment on my own accord. The place was extremely clean and roomy despite the low rent cost and I was moved in within two weeks of applying. My only minor gripe was a small leak under the kitchen sink (that was fixed within a day of putting in a maintenance request). I went with Garcia due to their incredible rating for a property management company and so far they have lived up to the hype! I couldn't be happier with my first few days in the unit! :D

Experiencia fantástica: I emailed a random person at Garcia in the middle of a holiday season in 2022 outlining my dire situation, my budget, and a request to please contact me if anything in my price range became available before my deadline. they let me see a unit that had vacated that day and I signed a (very affordable, bless you guys!) lease. I stayed for 2.5 years and I probably would have the rest of my life had I not moved out of state. they returned my entire deposit (first time for me!! :D) and offered a glowing reference, should I ever need it. I cried. I have nothing but good things to say about Garcia!

I could have gone with a cheaper option, but they have surpassed my expectations. Very professional and efficient but, as they are a family business, I felt like I was accepted into the family. Thus, they truly treat every person (owner, tenant, worker) and property accordingly. I cannot say enough good about this company. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend.

She helped me know what was necessary to get done before my house went on the market, arranged staging, wonderfully handled unforeseen issues during the open house, was very familiar with the market in south St. Louis, and nailed down an offer for asking price within a week of it being on the market. All of her initial estimates of costs and proceeds were basically spot-on. She answered every question I had, and was always very communicative. Would always keep me updated at every step and almost always replied to a text or email within an hour. Experiencia negativa: DO NOT RENT or BUY with GARCIA. It’s over priced and not worth it. I got apartment 5 years ago… the condition of the apartment was unacceptable… I spent 3 days cleaning it. The closet and walls were completely ruined with cheap paint full dust, dog hair, grease and dirt. walls and closets were having humidity issues so I fixed and painted it to make it livable, the fired place was falling apart also I fixed. The apartment was a mess and my rent was pretty high but I made it for 5 years. After all that we decided to move out for the really bad condition of the building and i got a email from Sarah saying: “thanks for the effort and maintenance you did in the apartment but we won’t process your deposit because you paint the walls dark” yes I did painting the 2 rooms dark for all the humidity and black water coming out of the walls… after 5 years putting my time and money to keeping that place together and clean all what i got was “thanks for the effort and we’ll keep your deposit” what about if you guys pay me back for all the maintenance and effort I did for the last few years, all the water coming out of the walls ruining some of my clothes and furniture. 5 years when you guys never put one penny in the building or apartment. ILL NEVER RECOMMEND GARCIA AND I MAKE SURE TO POST THIS IN ALL SOCIAL MEDIA.

Experiencia fantástica: When we suprisingly found ourselves getting older, the three story house Jenifer Garcia helped us purchase 20 years ago was no longer meeting the needs of our aging knees. We were afraid we would have to leave the city to find what we needed to age in place, but Jenifer proved us wrong. She not only helped us find the perfect bungalow on a quiet street near a park, with a first floor bedroom and bathroom, but also connected us with Garcia's construction arm to build a walk-in shower. Then Jenifer helped us develop a marketing plan for our old home, which needed a lot of work. We were concerned we wouldn't be able to sell it without updates, but we had multiple showings and two offers in less than two days. We accepted an offer slightly over ask with no contingencies--something we had only dreamed about! The moral of the story is you don't have to leave the city as you age. You just need to partner with Garcia to find your perfect retirement home.

She really cared that we found just the right home at the right price for us. She taught us all about the neighborhoods we were researching, explained what to look for in basements (both the good and the bad.... I've never lived in an area that had many basements), and helped us through the inspections, repairs, and price negotiation phases of the sale. She responded very quickly (even nights and weekends) to every email/text and question we had with exactly the answers we needed. I would give her a "6-out-of-10" if I could!

In addition to being first-time homebuyers, my wife and I also went through the entire process remotely as we had not yet moved to the area. Despite these challenges, Emily was the best guide throughout. In finding a home, she took the time to get to know us, learn our preferences and budget, send us detailed video walkthroughs, comment on any homes we sent her, and send us homes she thought would be good fits. When we found homes we liked, Emily helped give us confidence when she agreed that a home was a good fit and expertly counseled us away from ones that seemed less ideal. And when it came time to make offers, negotiate, and close, Emily's deep local knowledge and experience meant that we always felt comfortable at each step. Emily is also easy to talk to and extremely communicative. Although we primarily worked with Emily, Brad was also super helpful in walking us through potential houses during the few instances when Emily was out of town. We could not more highly recommend Emily and Brad to anyone looking to purchase a home in St. Louis!

Experiencia fantástica: Aileen Garcia doesn't back down from her values, she doesn't quit, and she delivers. We are a couple in our 70s and were relocating to California. I spoke to Aileen the day of the tornado in late May. I told her I wanted our home in Benton Park to be under contract by June 20 as I was doing my apartment search in California at that time. I also told her that I I wanted to move on July 29 and wanted the home sold by then. We discussed in great detail the pricing of our home keeping in mind its drawbacks and our time frame. Other realtors recommended higher pricing. I felt like Aileen had a better grasp on our home and the market. She helped me stage the home by sharing outdoor furnishings and rearranging some items inside. She knew how to stage for photos and the marketing materials were top notch. The home went under contract 6-18. The air conditioning was out when the buyer came through to do the inspection. Aileen secured a contractor, met them at the house the next day, waited there until the home was nice and cool. Once again she went over and beyond. And... We moved on July 29 with a successful closing on July 30. Exactly as planned. I think what I appreciate most about Aileen is that she helped me get through lots of anxious moments with good communication.

From the start before my offer was in and we were just looking at potential options it was clear to me that he valued being a good agent over just trying to get a quick sale. He went through every property we selected and pointed out all the good sides and all the, in some cases, many flaws with pictures and descriptions. Angie Maniscalco was a reliable source of truth and advice for this process. Our previous experience selling our first home had left us with a lackluster impression of realtors overall, and Dave immediately set an extremely high bar for anybody we might work with later (although we honestly hope to never work with anybody but Dave if we can help it!). He has since helped us successfully buy our next home and sell the one that we'd loved but grown out of in the City. We have also recommended him to multiple people who he has helped successfully buy their homes (and they have also been thrilled with him). When we recommend him to others (or just sing his virtues to people who seemingly have no active interest in buying or selling their homes ), we cite how friendly, accessible, knowledgeable, and committed Dave is. Given his experience in construction as well as years of experience as a realtor, walking through a house with Dave means that you're going to get a very honest assessment of what he's seeing, he'll explain it in a way you can understand, and he can give well-informed estimates off the top of his head of what it might take to address anything you have questions about. He has gone above and beyond for us multiple times. With our most recent sale, there was work that needed to be done on the sewer before closing but we had already moved almost 40 minutes away and couldn't keep an eye on things. Dave kept us informed by visiting the site himself and coordinating with the workers; on the day of the final walkthrough he made sure to go by for us and confirm everything was in good shape. When we jumped a little too quickly into an offer a year or two ago and ran into an unexpected dealbreaking issue in the process, he helped us navigate out of it with grace and reassurance, while knowing that this meant he wouldn't be earning anything at that time. It was a stressful and semi-embarrassing experience for us, but Dave took it in stride. These are just two of many examples of times Dave has really come through for us. We truly can't say enough good things about working with Dave Nall. She was to busy to phone , text, e mail or call all day.
