They and their employees are lovely. They are all reliable, professional, and genuinely good people who care about their tenants and the property owners they serve. What really stands out is their communication and responsiveness. Having been through several property managers in Fort Wayne, AG Rentals stands out because they are responsive and communicate well. Any time an issue comes up, they are quick to handle it, and keep us informed, which in the end, gives us a lot of peace of mind. It's clear that AG Rentals takes pride in what they do and treat each property like it matters. If you're looking for a team to manage your real estate portfolio responsibly and professionally, I would absolutely recommend them!

Negative experience: Don't bother. Turns out if a single mother missed a utility bill 10 years ago and their Co applicant has more then enough income to cover rent several times, they won't give you the time of day. And to the property owners thinking of using their services to find tenants for your properties, your time is better spent elsewhere. I made almost 6x the asking rent and got denied because my co applicant missed a 50$ electric bill from a decade prior. Words cannot describe how insulting that is. Renters and property owners beware. They do not have your best interests at heart.

Fantastic experience: AG Rentals put up some walls in our basement to create a spare bedroom. They did an incredible job! They answered any questions that we had in a timely manner, they got the job done quickly/efficiently (even with all of this snow and cold) and were super clean. Ed was great to work with. Negative experience: Though their not too bad at sending their maintenance crew for repairs, They sent Lays Roofing to redo the roof & very short notice meaning a few hours on them starting. I work out of town but headed back asap. Needless to say they did damages to one of my vehicles. Reported it to AG & they blamed me. Very unpleasant & unprofessional experience.

Negative experience: Ag rental is the worst they damaged my property they do not communicate if called emailed and text I signed for a year they tried to kick me out a month early I do not recommend this company to anyone

Fantastic experience: Had issues with the water heater. Maintenance immediately came over, inspected the water heater. Decided instead of wasting time to fix it, just went ahead and replaced the whole thing to prevent any future catastrophies. Took about an hour. Maintenance was very quick, efficient, and professional.

Negative experience: They have a lot of properties. AG is not easy to work with. I left their services. Most of the properties are bad. They are more expensive than they should be. Maybe this review will help customers and employee's. The owners really need help. Have better standards of yourself. Treat people better.

Fantastic experience: My family and I rent an AG Rentals home and we have been very happy with their communication, the easy application and move in process, and overall quality of the home. We have had a couple issues arise like all homes do, I simply submit a maintenance ticket and they have a crew here within a day or two. When we had an AC issue, they had a reputable contractor here the very same day and the issue was fixed. I would recommend AG to anyone looking to rent!

Negative experience: me and my partner just toured a house (603 w dewald #4) and we were in total disbelief with what we saw. coming up the front porch, the porch itself is caving in, you walk into the living room (which is the most decent part of the apartment) and through the hallway there’s a kind of bathroom? with a weird corridor leading into a very narrow bathroom with a broken mirror and broken shower faucet. after the bathroom is the kitchen which has no counter space whatsoever and everything is very run down, with everything just painted over instead of replaced. the bedroom ceiling is sinking in from water damage at the windows which it looks like all they did was plaster and paint very poorly. none of the smoke detectors worked, no laundry hookups or anything at all, no dishwasher, and with all of these other issues, they want almost 900 a month?? i’m sorry but that is just absolutely insane, AG rentals should truly be ashamed of themselves, and of course it’s the only property they have for my partners disability program, sounds like prejudice and taking advantage of the less fortunate. please stay away from AG rentals.

Negative experience: Offered to pay 6 months rent to have 90 bucks waived for a young woman and her two children only to be met with heartless no empathy individuals. They passed up 5000 upfront cash over 6 months rent for 90 bucks to prevent an upping woman and her children from being homeless. WHERE THEY DO THAT AT? Sad what this world is coming too. I asked to speak with someone who can make it happen but apparently the office manager has no authority or heart or both. Sad I’m just sad for these two small children who may become homeless because of this.

Negative experience: It's 2am and the water heater leak caused the ceiling to collapse. They were out twice in the last few months to repair it. Bottom is rusted out. Bare electrical wires in water. Previously had to threaten a law suit to get them to change an air filter, which they said was my responsibility. There was no place to put it and they had to have someone "fabricate" a place to hold it. This was after multiple attempts of trying to fix the furnace in the dead of winter and leaving us in the cold. It's still not properly installed. They painted over mold in the bath tub, which is now chipping causing clogging that they refuse to do anything about. These are just a few of the MANY issues. For your personal health and safety do not rent with AG slumlords.

Negative experience: I viewed an apartment with the property manager. All was bad that was said about the current property and tenants by the manager lady. Seemed like a small company…manager is self centered and entitled….heads are in the clouds.

Negative experience: Applied for a property through them a week in advance, switched over an application to a listing I wanted to apply for. Waited 4 days just to tell me that the home I applied for was no longer on the market!!! Why have someone wait 3-5 days on an application if someone was already getting the home? Zero communication about it. Waste of MY time.

Negative experience: Horrible company to rent for! We lived there for almost 4 years and they wouldn’t fix anything. We had roots growing in our basement every year and they called people to come cut the roots when the people said it needed to be removed but they never wanted to remove the whole thing. So our belongings in our basement got water all over it. Our sink was clogged not our fault at all and they blamed us and made us pay for it to be fixed. We had our annual inspection and the guy said our staircase was a hazard because one of our steps were broken and needed someone to come fix it and it never happened!! After 3 years and after always calling about it! We had a ceiling that looked like it was about to fall and they said it’s fine until it actually happens or if it “gets worse”. And this was one of my kids roms!! Always get things in writing with these people because calling and getting there word means nothing also! They will go back on it and say there never said that! We moved out before getting evicted and when they filed of course all the fees and etc which we already knew went to court to see about monthly payments and they wouldn’t even work with us! There lawyers don’t care they won’t work with anyone. And don’t know how we owed 5k now is ending up being 7k because they keep adding fees and it’s ridiculous. Don’t give yourself the headache with these people! Trust me!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been with A&G rental over 6years and I barely have problems with my home but last week I had a leaky faucet… They came the next day and replaced it with a brand new one with in 30 mins…. Fantastic experience: I am a fairly new tenant with A G Rentals and Property Management. I felt compelled to express my appreciation of one of their employees . Raphael is part of their maintenance dept. and was responsible for repairing my attic fan. Being on the 2nd flr my place gets quite warm even with my air conditioning unit running. The attic fan works great and makes entire apt. cool so when it was not operating I was very uncomfortable.. AG Rentals wasted no time getting maintenance out to look at it. Raphael had it running less than an hour later and I am grateful for his knowledge in handling my problem.This is my second experience with maintenance and they have truly impressed me with their response. I can see that AG Property Management wants to make your rental experience a positive one.

Negative experience: Well for one they are not very good at calling back or returning messages. I’m not going to work with them. Very inconsiderate and they will not give my application fee back . Well I will go the next level with business practice.

Negative experience: They rented me a house without doing a walkthrough. I was desperate & signed a rental agreement. I went to view the house in person on my own accord the day before my scheduled move in. There were rats running from the fence to a hole underneath the foundation of the house. I was hopeful, thinking they were just outdoors and I could lay down traps and poison. Unbeknownst to me they had already made my home theirs. I could hear them in the walls, see them running from nooks and cracks around the house and eventually one climbed in my bed while I was asleep. I called AG Rentals and was told I’d have to pay out of pocket to get an exterminator and they provided evidence that I didn’t bring the mice with me, they’d look into reimbursement. The house was infested with both mice and roaches. I was forced to leave all my possessions and start over. I told the agency I didn’t want to renew the lease after my year was up and was told they didn’t offer M2M even though the lease stated otherwise after the year was up. Once I pointed that out, they told me if I didn’t renew the owner would hike my rent at will. For the safety of my family I left a few months after renewal. They refused to tackle the issues even after I told them I had video proof of the activity. They reported on my credit report and charged me pre existing issues and non existing issues. We paid to have the house cleaned out and were provided pictures of the house after it was cleaned out. AG rentals is charging me for cleaning cost despite the fact. I was able to speak to previous tenants who all attested to the infestations. They recently rented the property out again and those tenants have already abandoned the house. Rather than addressing the infestations they’d rather put families at risk.

I had an issue with my refrigerator and Ed was able to ensure a new one arrived the next day and delivered/installed without even the slightest issue. Ed is courteous, honest, respectful, and went above and beyond in helping to address the issue. To say that you don’t have to worry when dealing with Ed is a complete understatement and a huge relief. I would highly recommend AG Rentals and would say you are doing yourself a disservice if you don’t use them.

Negative experience: Proceed with caution! Even though the house I rented from them was in better shape when I moved out compared to when I moved in, I didn't get my deposit back! They don't finish maintenance jobs. They damaged my car while fixing the garage door and refused to pay for the damage. They also assume that hundreds of nail and screw holes in walls is considered acceptable move-in condition. They are crooks, and I'll never use them again! If there were an option for zero stars, that is what they would get from me.

Positive experience: My water heater quit working and they were able to get there the next day to fix it.

Negative experience: Worst experience I ever had as a landlord. f you are a remote landlord and not present locally, avoid Sara and her company like the plague. I had two of my properties under contract with them and had several issues. They quoted me $2500 to refurbish a property which I paid but when I took over the property from them, I found that several of the things were not even done. I had to threat litigation for them to come back and finish those repairs. After doing all those repairs, they were not able to find a tenant for three months. I took over myself with the help of some friends and I was able to literally rent out the property within 4 business days. Even after the contract was terminated, she charged me fees and deducted money from my payout saying I am not paying you back and the services was rendered. Also Sara is very short tempered and has little to no customer service skills. Just go with another company if you can.

Negative experience: Bad communication, nobody ever answers the phone, gives you the run around!!

Positive experience: Initially, I had trouble getting into a rental with AG because someone would always beat me to putting a deposit down. But even then, when I explained my frustration to their office they did their best to get me quickly into the place I was applying to by that point (the 5th one I had tried to apply for I believe). I’ve had a decent experience with them overall and suggested them to other friends who have told me they are looking. Their homes are pricey very affordably but they are slow to respond to maintenance requests and I have been denied additional upgrades to the home when the owner didn’t want to cover the cost. They are good at communicating and keeping you notified when you need to make any sort of unexpected payment arrangements as long as you keep them informed. But not very good at giving notice as to when they won be fulfilling maintenance requests. The last two requests I have made due to severe weather (rain & heat) they said they could not get to right away because of a high volume of requests but they did at least come address them in time. The first time was after a severe flood and my basement had 2 1/2 ft of water in it from a clogged drain in the basement. The second, just recently because the power amps aren’t strong enough to support two window AC units when they heat index is hitting 103! I am still renting with them three years after I started because I have not yet found a better rate and because so far we have been able to successfully and professionally work through any issues or convicts we’ve come across during the rental term. And I am happier working with them so far than I was when I lived at Canterbury Green by IPFW, that’s for sure! I recommend looking into this Agency if you are looking for an affordable rental house not if you want something more luxurious. I may look for an independent landlord next year since I’m a bit less happy with their services after initially posting my review (it seems like they stopped doing as great of a job once I posted a good one ) but at the same time, know there are other headaches that come with renting from independent landlords and at least here the ride in rent pricing hasn’t yet been ridiculous. I am definitely more concerned they’ll raise it again next year though so we will see! :/

Negative experience: Unethical business dealings, went to sell a Wholesale property to Adam and he ended up going behind our back cutting us out and had the sellers threaten us to release the contract so he didn't have to pay us. Very unethical and highly advise anyone to stay far away from them!

Negative experience: Was excited to go look at a house, went and loved it. Go to fill out application and listing is gone. Even after speaking to them on the phone twice beforehand, they failed to tell me. So I spent 35 bucks on a Lyft to get there for nothing.

Fantastic experience: From the first moment we got to tour the house until we moved, it has been a seem-less experience. There were a few small things that needed to be repaired and they were out the very next day to get it done and the maintenance worker was friendly and very professional and knowledgeable! I would 100% recommend AG rentals to anyone looking for a home or anyone wanting a property management company!
