Negative experience: Hard to get ahold of community admistrator. Only get emails and never call backs. Requested a one time Hardship Waiver and all they "could" do was add on a large amount of interest and a payment plan while not considering anything I have informed them about regarding health issues and more. Stated that I have had these fees since 2025 when we are barely in March 2026 and are already talking about possible fees in 2027 when again we are barely in March 2026. This company has a lack of empathy towards people and dont seem to really care about their community. I am so dissapointed. Reply to the below statement: The statement provided is inaccurate. I have not been contacted by anyone except when I reached out to the office. Despite sending emails, I have not received any callbacks, only a runaround. In response to the last email about choosing a payment plan, which was presented as the only way to assist me, I have now accrued additional interest, resulting in a higher amount owed. As a resident of New Mexico and a single mother of three, I have diligently worked to purchase a home in Santa Fe. I take pride in maintaining my home and supporting my family. I am striving to make ends meet and had hoped for understanding in my one-time request to keep my account in good standing. Unfortunately, it seems that my situation has not been handled as I had anticipated. Thank you for your response. Best regards.

I am sorry to hear that you are currently experiencing a hardship. We certainly understand that situations can arise and are willing to work with homeowners when possible.
However, I do see that our administrative team reached out to you on March 9th, March 2nd, and February 23rd offering a payment plan option. Unfortunately, we have not received a response to those emails, nor has the payment plan agreement been signed and returned.
We remain willing to assist and would be happy to help move forward with the payment plan if you are still interested. Please feel free to reach out to me directly at [email protected] so we can provide the agreement and discuss the next steps.

Negative experience: Dues are due, according to a sign. No bill sent. no account number sent. The doesn’t recognize my email address that I have used for > 30 years. Seems quite unprofessional to me. At a minimum, a bill should have been sent with all the information needed to pay the dues. Yuck. I hate Canyon Gate whatever.

Fantastic experience: I am an avid bycyle rider and therefore I have been using the pedestrian gate to enter and exit the Laguna Meadows community. Is the keypad passcode for the pedestrian gate the same as the automobeil keypad gate If not, can the gate just be left unlocked

Negative experience: Just took over our HOA. LAME!, trying to make money off residents by charging a "Convience Fee" for ACH payments! I will just send 11,000 pennies as payment since you want to charge us for doing nothing to improve our community!

Fantastic experience: Donna Chavez is the director of the Homeowners Association here at Jubilee, Los Lunas. I have always found her to be easily accessible and responsive to our requests, questions and needs. Recently she guided us through a process of approval for a small addition to the entry of our home. She had the paperwork to me immediately and the approval came through in about 3 days. we are grateful for her responsiveness and her always open door and smiling face.

Negative experience: I have clients that live in a Canyon Gate HOA, the dues are higher than anything I have seen in El Paso, they are unable to get assistance for repairs and no one answers the phone.

Positive experience: Donna Chavez CMCA®, AMS® Director of Client Services Associa Canyon Gate Management, AAMC® Donna communicated an offer to our neighborhood about a local landscaping company providing a discounted rate for weed control. While the cost was very impressive, I declined the offer because they were not offering reservice, if weeds were to appear and our HOA likes to send letters about weeds in our yards, so I decide to stick with my 20+ year preemergent provider, who does offer reservice treatment in the twice/year subscription cost.

Negative experience: Absolute worst HOA to deal with when trying to sell your home. Not only are they outrageous on their fees they're some of the rudest ever when it comes to customer service or trying to resolve an issue. If they're ever managing a HOA in a home you're considering to purchase really consider not moving forward. If you ever have to sell they will cause more headaches than help. I agree with other reviews when they say that if they could give them 0 stars they would. They absolutely deserve it.

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars, I would. The lady that I spoke to on the phone today started the conversation super rude and disrespectful. I am very patient and respectful to everyone I encounter until I get disrespected and she was. She didn’t try to even understand my problem. Second, I’ve left several messages for Robert, my property manager to call me and to date, no call. I will try again to speak with someone else to help me tomorrow.

Negative experience: I've called to ask for the dumpster area to be cleaned at our clubhouse and no one has come and today there is even more trash. See picture below. Also called today at 3:30pm no one answered and I was unable to leave a voicemail.

Negative experience: Poor record financial keeping. No open flames allowed, like charcoal or butane usage. On 3/23/2023 second floor condo bldg 15 some people were grilling @ 9:00 p.m. I had to call Fire department. Flames were close to hitting the 3rd floor balcony. I did let the Hillcrest Park manager know & she just chuckled & said they probably didn't know. Wrong answer. The owners of that 2nd floor condo need to read the handbook. Late 80's bldg caught fire due to a butane or charcoal grilling. Look into the history of Hillcrest park here in Albuquerque. We are trying to get rid of this management company. Nothing is being done also on plumbing issues. Anyone who wants to ask me questions, please feel free.

Fantastic experience: I think it is common knowledge that HOAs are the worst. There were a lot of annoying letters that piled up so tall that I felt like I was drowning in things to do under threat of fees. Long process and story, but I was able to work with Donna and it made the horrible experience palatable. She was very quick to communicate and she resolved the issue completely and was friendly. I like Donna.
