We came back to Santa Fe after leaving for work in 2009, and had no idea how to navigate the tricky Santa Fe housing market, if we could afford to live in The City Different or even if it was a good time to be looking at buying a house. Suzanne put our minds at ease, and quickly started showing us options in our budget. She looked far and wide, and showed us all kids of homes around Santa Fe, Turquoise Trail and Pojoaque. We were connected to Angela through my husband's research of New Mexico. Shortly after our first call with Angela, my husband broke his leg, which hindered our work towards getting our home ready for sale. Angela stayed in constant contact through everything. After finally getting our house on the market in OCT, we met Angela for the first time when we drove down to ABQ. She is so fun to hang out with, and we started our hunt. She took copious notes on our likes and dislikes. Sometimes, we chose to look at a house, and as soon as we walked in, Angela said, " I don't think your table will fit" (we have a twelve-seat table). This remarkable woman waited patiently, helping to support us emotionally for over a year to find the perfect house. She worked closely with our lender to ensure everything was on track. She advocated for us in all the steps of the process. We bought a new build, and she insisted on scoping the plumbing. The builder fought against it, but she fought harder for us. She was always there to answer questions, and because we would drive down on the weekends from CO, she would dedicate her time and attention to our needs the whole weekend. If we buy another home, Angela will be the first person we call, even before our lender. It also doesn't hurt that she is a huge San Francisco 49s fan! GO NINERS!

Positive experience: Not certain whether my agent was super-polite and simply deferential or more interested in making a sale even if the house wasn't quite right for me. In any case, my experience was one of a more relaxed & reserved approach whereas I could have used additional guidance and engagement during my visits to various houses. Mostly a good experience though.

Fantastic experience: Karen White went above and beyond to help my fiancé and I find a rental home. She was recommended to us by a family friend and could not have been more helpful in the process. She was very knowledgeable about the area and was able to give us helpful tips for homes to look for as well as a curated list of rentals and companies to assist us in the process. She would sending me new listing frequently so I did not miss out on submitting a bid if I was interested in the property. Positive experience: Nicole Romero and Suzanne Archuleta were great to work with. I bought and sold with the help of both of these ladies and they made it as good of an experience as possible. Anyone who is selling and buying knows what a stressful experience it is but having an experienced and thoughtful realtor makes the experience better. Fantastic experience: My house was a special case sale since it was an incomplete remodel. But Maria Berglund saw its potential and what the sale needed - a flipper. The sale was not going to be a normal sale. She knew the right people and understood her business well enough to be able to guide me through the process of selling a special case home. Although this was the first house I ever bought, hence my first sell, and even though I did a bit of research on my own and I was a bit apprehensive, she explained everything and no matter how many times I asked, explained it again. I can not recommend Maria strongly enough for those who are buying or selling. And, as icing on the cake, she is simply a very nice person!

Fantastic experience: Maria Berglund was an outstanding realtor. She made the process of getting my house up for sale quick and easy with a very flattering listing. She found a buyer that offered my asking price within a few days. The house needed extensive updates before sale as the building codes changed and expert repairs were needed after the inspections. Maria coordinated with all of the contractors to perform the work, negotiated with the buyer's broker to keep requests reasonable, and kept in daily contact as to the status of everything. Everything moved so quickly that we moved closing up 2-weeks. I will be looking for a new house as a buyer soon and will definitely call Maria to be my realtor again.

Fantastic experience: We were renting from a family member who was moving back to town, so we decided it was time to start looking to buy. We didn't know any realtors in town, and happened to start working with Mary Bateman by chance. She continued to be our realtor over the 4 or so months and took us to see around 20 homes. Having two young kids and both working full-time, we really appreciated Marys patience and flexibility with us in terms of communication responses and scheduling in the evening. She navigated is through a crazy Albuquerque market, including advice before and during an offer we placed on a foreclosed property. We later pulled that offer due some unforeseen red flags, and credit to Mary for pointing those out to us. She sent us the listing for the home we ended up buying as she knew it was exactly what we were looking for. We feel so fortunate to have worked with Mary and to now be in a home that we love for our little family.
