Negative experience: If they manage your HOA, not good. They do not enforce anything. I live in an HOA development to be around people that are neat and need to be. Not the case with them. Overgrown laws, some even so bad growing up their garage doors, in their driveways, etc. I have lived in other communities with HOA's, this is by far the worse. I know more than several people that have had it with slobs doing what they want. Junk left outside, grass growing onto the sidewalks. I don't even think they regularly look at how it is or just don't care.

Fantastic experience: Live in Stateside Subdivision and have sent several ARC requests through the online portal for PMC. All of my request have been responded to in a timely manner. Usually 3-4 days or less from request submission to response. My last request for how I wanted to set up my fence was denied by the review board (I believe this is still the builders board). After communicating with Vikki and Sara, I understood the approval/board process and what my options were. I submitted another ARC and it was approved. Glad Vikki and Sara answered my questions!

Negative experience: I would like to share my concerns regarding the approval process for my fence. In past interactions, I have felt that my questions were treated dismissively, as though my inquiries were an inconvenience. As a future homeowner in the community, I expect the same courtesy and professionalism that I extend to customers in my own work. Additionally, there seems to be a disconnect between the builder and the HOA. The builder has clearly outlined the backyard area for fencing, yet my request for approval was denied. Other homeowners in the community have been able to build fences in a similar manner, which makes the inconsistency frustrating and confusing. To help clarify the matter, I submitted photos and video evidence for review. I believe better communication between the HOA and the builder would prevent this type of issue and ensure a smoother experience for homeowners.

Fortunately, I was connected with Cierra, who provided phenomenal assistance in helping me complete the transition so I could pay dues and submit my ARC requests. Negative experience: As a new owner in this HOA I cannot express my concerns deeply enough. I was a member in a different HOA for the last 28 years and never had encountered the snooty, rudeness that I have experienced at Premier Management. I was told that I had to pay for Edge lawn service even thought they do a bad job on my lawn and from many neighbors I spoke to, none are happy with their service. I supplied many pictures taken 2 weeks ago showing the uneven and bad job they did on my lawn and many neighbors, only to be told that they spoke to Edge and they had a problem with their blades that day. Well, they must have a blade issue each week because the lawns look the same way each week and $245 quarterly for something that isn't done right just isn't fair to us homeowners. I received a bill in the mail and wanted to pay through the on line portal. I submitted my Bank account information thinking that would be the fastest & easiest way to pay these bills quarterly. I saw I was being charged a "payment processor" fee of $2.95 for the submitted payment and called Premier Management to ask about it. In all the times I have used any on line portals to pay with my bank account information, I have never been charged any fee as this is a clean, quick way for companies to get paid and the only time there are ever any "payment processor" fees is if I use a debit or credit card. I was told that is the way their portal does it and I checked with my bank and they also have never heard of a bank account on line portal charging for a customer to pay their bill. It is the principal for me, not the money. Once again, I was subjected to a snooty person telling me that I have other options and that is the way it is. I asked to speak to a supervisor about this so called fee and she angrily transferred me to "Travis" who has yet to call me back as I requested. I feel it is only right to also say that I spoke to a woman named Sara on a different issue 2 weeks ago who was an absolute gem to speak to and work with. Thank you Sara for your kindness and help! I guess I will request her whenever I have to call there or have a question. I'm concerned that we pay the dues to this company, who in turn pay their employees so why was I treated this way? I also would like to add that Travis did return my call yesterday afternoon, he was pleasant but could offer no reason as to $2.95 charge or why it was being charged. It is called an ACH transaction when you use the online portal and use your checking account to pay the bills. I was told by Amanda is it an ECheck, and that is incorrect, as banks do not charge for this process, and it is called an ACH transaction. So why is Premier charging each & everyone of us this fee? Again, purely principal and the only fees that should be charged is if we pay with a credit or debit card, and that is because of the fees merchants are charged if their customers pay with cards. I have emailed the management company several weeks ago, to no avail regarding other issues. Thank you for your time

Fantastic experience: Tracee has been incredible from the very beginning. Before I stepped into the role of president, our HOA was in rough shape. I made the decision to take on this position in hopes of getting things back on track. The previous president and vice president often placed blame on "the management company" for many of the issues we faced. Looking back now, I realize that much of what was said was misinformation. So naturally, when I first spoke with Tracee, I came in hot—ready to challenge what I thought was the root of the problem. To my surprise, she handled that call with a level of professionalism that truly stood out. Negative experience: 1. They do not answer their phone when you call for support, and their voicemail threatens that if you try to contact them multiple times it will result in an even more delayed response. 2. They do not fix community amenity issues in a timely manner. 3. Their website does not work well. If you are an HOA, I would not recommend hiring this "management" company.

Negative experience: Garbage company. Horrible office staff that screens calls. They don’t do what they are supposed to do. Bought a house neighbor built fence on our property. HOA was informed, does nothing about it. Last time I will live in an HOA, if you are choosing to buy with this company as your property management, they are awful. Requests to build or add to your own property take for ever. Management has no spine and can’t address a complaint. Negative experience: I would give zero stars, if I could! Beware of this HOA management company in the Wilmington area. Seems that they are "trained" by DRH & incapable of understanding HOA documents & enforce rules extremely arbitrarily. Not to mention they should be aware of NC coastal regulations or at least be smart enough to consult with NC government entities prior to approving or not approving actions by an HOA community. They create animosity & distrust amongst neighbors by not enforcing rules uniformly in the neighborhood. While DRH is the HOA board, there is no transparency especially in the financial details such as suddenly paying back "loans" to DRH & homeowners request for details go unanswered. Financial statements are extremely vague & results of audits are not posted on HOA community page. It's extremely unfortunate that NC has virtually no oversight nor enforcement of violations for HOA management companies. Do not trust anything they say or do without proper documentation.

Negative experience: The absolute worst. They are by far the laziest management company I have encountered. Several of us have provided pictures showing active violations but because they only drive by our community once every couple of weeks and they don't see those violations they feel that those violations do not exist. Lazy. Incompetent. Waste of time and money.

Fantastic experience: I had called with a concern about a draft on our HOA dues. Kandice Horta was the representative and knew immediately the issue. She was kind and patient and was able to assist me to completion. Her working knowledge of the customer facing portal truly helped solve this issue quickly. I have seen so many online support issues over the years. Most came from representatives not have knowledge of what customers were seeing. Fantastic support from Kandice.

Negative experience: They’re quick to send HOA violations but drag their feet when you submit something you want to do to them for approval. When my wife called to ask about the status of an approval, the woman on the phone was extremely rude and ended up hanging up on my wife. Negative experience: Unfortunately, we have had a frustrating experience with Premier recently. We submitted a simple landscape request the 2nd week of March, and have been emailing and calling our Premier representative since the 1st week of April, asking for any information or feedback on status/timing beyond the "3-4 week standard email". We have gotten no response, and we are at the 4 week mark now. We provided a quote from our landscaper, detailed list of plants, and pictures. As a home owner paying for this service, we expect some form of timely response, even just an acknowledgement from our representative.

Negative experience: We called the main branch of premier management in Wilmington and Amanda was so helpful with getting us in contact with the stateside HOA, which has been a problem for the last month. The stateside HOA has not picked up the phone a single time. I’ve made about 9 calls with no response and have left voicemails with simple questions. When we finally got ahold of the stateside HOA, Vicky answered and was not pleasant to talk to. She instantly met us with aggression and said that she is only on the line to answer the “nasty calls”. Which dramatically changed the entire tone of the conversation. All we wanted was to talk with someone because we have no idea what they actually want in the requests. She wasn’t there to help us, she was there to fight with us. When we asked about our requests she said she simply forwards everything to the request committee. She stated that she does not handle anything regarding the requests, other than forwarding the packets. Then when we asked for the contact at the request committee, she said to just ask her the question. It was very confusing to be told in one breath that she doesn’t handle building requests and in another be told to ask her the questions. She never provided us a contact for the building requests and gave a half baked answer to our questions and couldn’t tell our the status of our requests or if there is anything wrong with them. In the future, we would like to see an HOA that will answer the phone in a friendly manner to answer the simple questions of the residents so that new residents can properly start and process anything that is required by the HOA.

Negative experience: I would give this joke of an establishment 0 stars if I could. Have been dealing with an issue for a month now about a previous balance that has already been paid and playing email and phone tag to settle it. Finally get to speak to Vikki on the phone and she is rude and condescending. Rather than simply letting me know what paperwork she needs to settle the issue she had a horrible attitude from the beginning of the conversation and just wanted to regurgitate her previous email rather than even hear what I was asking. I don’t appreciate being talked down to and belittled when I am trying to clear up a situation as quickly as possible by providing the correct paperwork. The outrageous HOA fee for our development is just icing on the cake considering it doesn’t look like the outrageous amount of money we all pay is being put to good use anyways.

Fantastic experience: I mentioned to our HOA management company (Premier Management) that I wanted to bring in some fill dirt on one of my empty lots in Redds Cove subdivision. It is a cleared lot, but has many pot holes and irregularity to the grade. This makes it extremely difficult to mow. We were not wanting to change the grade, but yet just wanting to fill these holes so it wouldn't ruin my mower. This fill dirt would make keeping the grass cut much easier until we decide to build or sell. Allison Norville of Premier management responded almost immediately. She understood our concern, and within a couple days, was able to get us approval. Thank you Allison and Premier.

Fantastic experience: We are new to this HOA and worked with Brooke to have our fence installation approved. Prior to submitting the application, Brooke was very helpful in helping us to navigate through it to submit it completely and correctly. She returned my phone calls promptly and was always very pleasant - and thorough - in her responses. Then recently I had a question about our first payment that we were to make directly to PMC (post closing prepayments). Kandice responded to my question within hours of my email and her response was both kind and thorough. Lastly, the HOA’s rules and regulations that we have dealt with so far are reasonable, easy to understand and follow and seem to keep the area looking great.

Negative experience: Predicated upon personal experience dealing with Premier Management Company over the past several years, here are my key takeaways: PRM is a company built on excuses. They only appear to excel at giving customers the runaround and collecting fees from homeowners' associations (HOAs). PRM has mastered the art of discouraging communication with anyone in the company who could help. Additionally, their telephone system is non-functional when it comes to making outgoing calls. They foster an "us versus them" mentality in their customer relations, often acting as though customers work for them rather than the other way around. After reviewing feedback from other customers, I noticed several one-star ratings that echo similar complaints to mine. Perhaps it is time for PRM to listen more attentively to their customers' concerns and transform their company culture.

Negative experience: We submitted our request to build a shed on Dec. 3. We never heard anything until we followed up on Dec. 19, where we found out that Brook, the Community Specialist, did not know where our application is located. Our application has specific description to adhere to the HOA. We had to follow up 2 more times and hit another snag about a photo - the application does not specifically state that a photo is required for a shed that will be built from scratch. We detailed that we are building it from scratch (and therefore cannot produce a photo on how it would look) in our application, but Brook insisted on a photo from Google, and so we gave her one with the correct siding and roof within 4 minutes of her request. We will see if she. Considers that application complete enough to send to the HOA a month after the initial application. That’s how “customer friendly” this company is.

Negative experience: This company managed the HOA for my neighborhood. They lack enforcement of the owners that are not following the rules. I am glad we have a new company taking over our HOA. Maybe they will actually take action against the homes that look like trash. Instead of selectively approving or disapproving arc requests, sending out erroneous violations, and lacking correspondence with residents.

Negative experience: Terrible HOA. They send you violations on new owners' days after moving in and then they allow neighbors who are mad that you bought "their" home to submit complaints without investigating it so they can automatically fine you. Quick to respond to violations but for two months have not fixed a work order for dead trees and allow the construction crew to damage your vehicle. HOA should be out on-site observing the property they manage...not behind a desk in another State. The HOA is responsible for the common grounds and to ensure anyone working at a site protects homeowners assets.

Negative experience: As far as I can tell, this company does not actually manage anything. Rather, they patrol their areas of responsibility looking to register menial complaints of homeowners’ properties, but when there is an issue to which they are responsible for addressing, you’d be hard pressed to speak with anyone, let alone have the issue resolved. I have had a broken irrigation system for nearly a year which they are responsible for and my registration of the problem has gone unanswered and unaddressed for that year. They do not call back, they do not follow up, they do not supervise work being done on the neighborhood. They are an absent company with poor managerial skills. They seem to collect money from homeowners with the intention of offering nothing in return. Stay away from the neighborhoods where these are the HOA managers. I look forward to seeing their standard copy/pasted response to a negative review as confirmation to their lack of actual services. This company is awful.

If you want to review the scope of work and reviews of this company, I recommend reaching out to their communities HOA social media accounts to hear from owners in the community they manage and please they are with this company's service

Fantastic experience: I have interacted with several associates of Premier Management Company for the past 3 years, like Rob Dunham, Carrie Lankford, Kimberly Kaiser and Linzie Hanna (they made such a positive impact on every interaction). Each and every associate has been polite, professional and very helpful. I follow several news sites and read many horror stories regarding Home Owner/Community Associations and their management companies. It appears to be fiction, because every interaction I have had with our PMC Manager, Rob Dunham has been very productive and responsive to our homeowner's needs. I have personally interacted with PMC through two separate HOAs and in both, they have been on point and very responsive.

Fantastic experience: Cierra Holcomb was tremendously helpful and quickly resolved my issue with pool fobs not working accurately in a community Bryant Real Estate manages. She had great communication and was prompt with my request. Highly recommend working with her directly if you are able!!
