LongStreet Property Management

Negative experience: I live next door to a property managed by this company in Portland, and unfortunately our experience has been extremely frustrating. For nearly a year we have been dealing with ongoing sanitation issues caused by their tenant, including garbage piled on the front porch and sidewalk, improper waste disposal, and dog waste accumulation. These conditions have created serious concerns for neighboring homes. Most recently, the situation escalated to rodent activity, with multiple neighbors reporting rats and evidence of droppings in surrounding yards. This is not only unpleasant but also a public health concern. Several neighbors have repeatedly contacted the property management company with photos, dates, and documentation. While responses have acknowledged the issue, there has been very little urgency or transparency regarding resolution or accountability. No homeowner should have to deal with rodents, sanitation hazards, and ongoing nuisance conditions because a rental property is not being properly managed. We hope the company takes this situation seriously and implements stronger oversight of their properties to prevent these issues from impacting surrounding homeowners.

Fantastic experience: Editing to add: James M. came by today to replace outdated smoke detectors and his service was absolutely fantastic. He was so earnest and clearly takes pride and ownership in what he does. Far and away one of the best maintenance people I've experienced across multiple property management companies. I'm very grateful. I am reviewing the gentleman who came by for my property inspection, Bob. He was kind, informative, and professional. He listened to my concerns and offered common sense solutions. Five stars for him!

Fantastic experience: Considering we moved from one corner of the country to this corner, site unseen, I am really pleased with these guys. Mauricio was our main point of communication, and on it, which was comforting while we were thousands of miles away. The new property managements from Quail court apartments are definitely better than the ones before them huge upgrade.

Fantastic experience: The LongStreet team is pretty fantastic all around. I've had other property management companies that don't hold a candle to LongStreet. I've watched them navigate challenging situations with grace and empathy to their tenants while still giving owners the best, pragmatic advice for the situation. They have strong systems and processes in place to get ahead of issues and have amazing people working with them like Liz. She's a great communicator, does what she says she's going to do, and cares about the impact she can have in people's lives. All around, highly recommended!

The tasks he was able to resolve were professionally done. For the tasks out of scope of a one day job, he made sure there was a coordinated plan in place with the right people to get it resolved. Knowledgeable, experienced and friendly, we would definitely love it if James came out for any problems in the future.

Fantastic experience: Just had our home inspection done by Garrett! I wasn’t sure what to expect having an inspection done on New Year’s Eve but it went super smooth and Garrett is such a delight! I appreciated his attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and kindhearted personality. 10/10 Garrett is awesome!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience during our semi-annual inspection with Bob. He was very kind, easy to talk to, and reassuring, and made me feel very comfortable during the inspection. He also very helpfully identified some areas they could fix for us, making our apartment safer and easier to live in.

Fantastic experience: We’ve been living at one of the Longstreet properties for about 6ish months and just had our first inspection. Bob was super cool and friendly, explained what he was doing the whole time, and was done pretty quick. Overall good experience, we’ve always liked the property, never had any major issues that couldn’t be solved quickly and easily. Edit to add: 11 Dec 2025 we had our second bi-annual inspection. Garrett was super quick and very kind. No issues living at the property aside from the houseless getting on property and causing issues but that’s not really something management solves or can solve without putting up some sort of barrier or fence system.

Fantastic experience: Sunday late evening. Water leaking into tenant ceiling. Tenant called Longstreet line. Brandon calls to say he is on his way. Checks every unit above tenants unit until he finds leak. Very professional, friendly and polite with tenants in every unit. Temporarily fixes leak and ensures plumbers schedule to arrive next day. Very impressed. Could not have asked for better response. On Sunday late evening too

Always willing to answer any questions or solve any problems we had. Very professional and always available I would recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I'm new to Portland and was having some issues navigating the rental market. Jaime took extra time with me to help me understand what was needed for me to secure a rental. With his direction and encouragement, I will be moving into a perfect house for me in a week. He made me feel comfortable reaching out to him with questions and without that I might still be looking. Both Jaime and the team that he works with are very responsive and helpful!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic interactions with Mauricio who was responsive and helpful at every turn. He was on the spot communicating expectations and made the whole experience of a typically stressful process seamless.

Fantastic experience: Mauricio was my leasing agent, there was constant communication from him. Whenever I needed something done, he would respond within the same day, and was always making sure I was taken care of. He also got me into my place sooner than I needed, which was a fault on my end for entering incorrect dates. I would highly recommend working with him if you get a chance, he’ll make sure you’re well taken care of.

Fantastic experience: Dana and David arrived unexpectedly but they were friendly and professional. They came to the door, identified themselves as representing Longstreet and introduced themselves. They also identified they services they were here to perform: check the gutters, treat moss and put on hose bib covers. We appreciated this because soooo many people come to your door for all types of services! Steve and A.T. came and replaced our eaking insinkerator on short notice on a Friday afternoon. They arrived and introduced themselves and identified LONGSTREET as the company they represented. Very friendly, thoughtful and considerate. My kitchen was clean but I think it's cleaner as they made their exit with old incinerator, cleaning rags and tool bags.

Fantastic experience: Jason fixed our shower drain quickly and improved it with a better quality cover and explained details of how to reach out to maintenence for any further issues including emergency maintenence. Thanks so much!
