Negative experience: When we first moved in, we had a problem when we moved in with the cleaniness of the unit and inappropriate items left behind from the previous tenant that management didn't notice until we found it. But that's not why I'm writing. I'm writing this review because since Friday, our toilet has been broken and their maintenance emergency line isn't functional for maintenance emergencies. We put in a work order and left two voicemails, but no one reached out to us until this Monday morning. Our toilet bowl was broken due to something falling into it, so we understand and are fine with paying for a new toilet and plumbing, but not responding for days while the only toilet we have in our unit isn't operational and they called us this morning saying that they *could* send out a plumber but it would be DOUBLE because it's a holiday is absolutely ridiculous. It wouldn't be double in the first place if they didn't make people leave messages for MAINTENANCE EMERGENCIES and wait until the weekday to handle it! So now we have been without a functional toilet for 3 days, 4 tomorrow if they are actually able to replace it. I have worked in property management for 6 years and have never worked somewhere where our maintenance emergency line isn't directly connected to someone who will respond as quickly as possible. Their treatment of this situation is egregious and could easily be resolved if they had a working emergency line. Anyways, don't live here if you want a habitable unit on the weekends apparently.
Negative experience: They are unorganized and unprofessional. They do not follow through and over charge. They also called a bonus room a bedroom, which it was not since it seemed more like a garage tuned into a laundry room, bathroom, and super small room, like all that literally fit was an individual twin size mattress. Charged as if it was a 3b house when technically since there is no closet, it was a 2b house. It was the only place that allows our two dogs so we stayed, worst experience ever renting.

Fantastic experience: Uptown Properties has been managing our condo for over 8 years now. It is so nice to knowing that all the details and needs are taken care of for us. From finding a renter, showings, property maintenance, financials, turnovers, and beyond having it all covered by Uptown has provided true peace of mind.
Negative experience: Leasing was very helpful, easy and quick to respond! Jessie was great. Maintenance, on the other hand, has been incredibly frustrating. A month after moving, our washer randomly broke and was leaking significantly. I put in a maintenance request immediately and was told to try troubleshooting first, which I did. I had to continue trying to get a technician out and when one did, they said I needed an appliance technician to determine what was wrong. That took over a week to have them come out. They determined that part of the washer needed replaced. I heard nothing from maintenance after that, so I followed up and received a response about a week later saying they're waiting for approval and have heard nothing since despite sending multiple emails. We have been out of a washer for over a month. And when I asked for a rent reduction multiple times, they have continuously ignored me. If you're looking for a quick response on maintenance, I'd look elsewhere.

Negative experience: I applied for an apartment that was managed through uptown properties. The amount of things you have to do before getting the apartment is insane. I choose to declined the apartment i was emailing back in forth with 3 different people and they were professional however they seemed very pushing, there was a time limit to complete the lease and send the payment was 24 hours apart. when I was working with AL he would call me during work hours if i didn't answer he would call me 2 or 3 additional times. i was also pressured by Jessie to send the payment ASAP if not another person was going to get the apartment . they wanted me to sign the lease and send the money before seeing the apartment which that's was a red flag for me. call me old school but i like to do stuff like this in person. everything was online with each step with them. i had a strange feeling about the whole process through uptown properties so i choose to not get the apartment through them.

Negative experience: Absolutely don’t move in with them they don’t handle issues and they’re over all just horrible , I just moved out and not only are they keeping my whole deposit they’re keeping the 906 dollars I had left in my credit towards rent that was supposed to be returned and expecting 834 more dollars! Charged me crazy amounts for wear and tear and charged me multiple times for the same thing also are ignoring my disputes ! Their Flanders property also has a roach problem that they call a “sanitation issue” so they won’t pay to spray!!!

Negative experience: It’s quite absurd how ridiculous this management is. They have the worst professionalism I’ve ever seen. Constantly asking people to put in a good review for them to “win a contest (hence why there’s so many positive reviews).” That or, just completely fake reviews in general. We’ve had problem after problem with these folks and they have done little to nothing to solve them. WE constantly have to reach out to them about things that they should be getting done themselves such as a rental lease, which we aren’t even on because nobody will clear that up. Do a yourself a favor—do NOT associate with this management…
Fantastic experience: This is my third time finding a new home and Al made the rental process very fast and easy . He was able to tell me exactly what I needed and amounts very fast and fixed the portal side of issues with payments I had also . Thank you Al !!!!!!! update 11/4 . As soon as i was asked to do this review Al my agent who was assisting me went RADIO SILENT. I still have a couple questions that haven't been answered. On move in day i was never given the box code for the key access. I will be reaching out to the office to speak with someone differently who can hopefully help me

I like that! I like Professionalism. He was there when I needed him or had any questions or concerns about Leasing Agreement's or current Leasing Laws. Al graciously lend a hand when I was trying to find a place to live with close connections to the City of Beaverton and surrounding areas. Even if your rent history is a bit questionable, Al will do his best to get you in to your own new place. Keep going Al! Positive experience: Al was very helpful and personable when helping us through signing the initial lease, so I give Uptown Properties an A+ for customer service. The property is also very well maintained and we love the place. The price was very competitive which we appreciated. There was some room for improvement during the process, which is why I leave a three star review. The leasing process had many issues. Initially, Uptown Properties uses a service called "Tenant Turner" to facilitate the showings of the properties. Tenant Turner requires a ton of sensitive personal information, including government IDs, but the privacy policy for the website is incredibly lacking. I understand the necessity to verify personal information before showing a property, but I would strongly encourage Uptown Properties to use a more secure service. When it came to signing the lease, there was another pain point on our end. Uptown Properties required us to sign the lease within 24 hours of receipt of the lease. This time window is needlessly rigid and short, especially given that the lease was sent in the middle of the work week. While signing the lease, we had to coordinate with multiple utilities and rental insurance agencies, and do our due diligence of reading through the lease carefully. Attempting to complete this within 24 hours while also balancing work was incredibly stressful, and having one or two extra days would have been helpful. Additionally, a critical maintenance request was entered promptly after it was discovered, and there has been no fix or correspondence from Uptown Properties for over a week.
