Negative experience: Very disappointed with my experience working with Katie McCann of the Mike McCann Team. My partner and I toured a unit twice with her colleague Leia, and fell in love with the property. It had been on the market for 3 months with zero applications and we couldn’t believe our luck in finding it. We submitted our applications on the unit 1/5, and heard nothing back via phone or email. I left a voicemail 1/8 following up to determine if they needed any further information, and once again received no response. Saturday 1/10, I received a mass-message through zillow “checking in” about my search and requesting a phone call to discuss my real estate goals. When I provided times I would be available to get on the phone and discuss the prior submitted application, I received no response. I only found out they had chosen a different applicant when I texted to follow up Monday 1/12. When I asked a clarifying question about the rejection, I once again received no response. Today, 1/18, I received this message through Zillow stating “it seems you have given up on my real estate goals at this time”. No, I chose to work with an agent who was responsive and timely in their communication. We ended up finding a full rowhome with better amenities at a lower price, and never went more than 24 hours without communication from the listing agent and property management company. If you are a property owner listing with Katie, and the unit has been sitting vacant for months, it’s likely because of interactions like this. Perhaps try listing with a different agency.

Fantastic experience: Carlos was incredible to work with. He got my property sold in 6 weeks. He made the process seamless and I highly recommend him and the Mike McCann Team!!!

Fantastic experience: Ed was great to work with as a realtor and Kristin was amazing behind the scenes. Once the property was sold, she was on top of all the documentation and helped me along the way with any questions. Would highly recommend!

Negative experience: My wife and I went with McCann thinking we would get a knowledgeable realtor. Instead we got a person who would echo whatever we thought to make a sale. Now that I purchased my home and have become more informed about row homes I am shocked I listened to have the stuff our Realor Asa Kurland had to say about comps and the state of the house. I over payed for sure and should’ve been much more conservative and understood the ages of Windows, lintels, siding, and pay more attention to the quality of renovation. I saw we had an open chimney with the neighbor and in my ignorance listened to him and the inspector tell me I just needed a cap. Not considering what kindof damage open rain could have done to a home in the decades it was exposed. In my last 3 months of owning a row home I learned I would have not purchased it at this price and would have used better comps. Not sure how a realtor who worked years in Philly would be so uninformed. He pushed me to not go for full credit when I should have gone for lower price plus credit. Inform yourself before buying a house and use these realtors just to make an offer.

After interviewing several other agents to understand the best approach for selling our home, we chose Bibe not only for her experience but also for her personality. Negative experience: I rarely write reviews, but my experience with Ian Perler was so bad I feel obligated to warn others. He was completely unprofessional, unreliable, and frankly, a waste of time. He constantly showed up late or not at all, didn’t seem prepared for showings, and offered little to no insight about the homes or the market. Communication was a nightmare — he would go silent for days, even during time-sensitive situations. I had to chase him down for updates, and when he did respond, it was vague or dismissive. He clearly wasn’t invested in helping me as a client. What’s worse, it often felt like he was more interested in pushing me toward a sale than actually listening to what I wanted. I lost out on a property because of his delays and lack of follow-through. If you’re looking for a realtor who is dependable, informed, and actually cares about their clients, do not work with Ian Perler. This was one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I’ve had with a supposed professional.

Fantastic experience: Mike and his entire team were excellent from start to finish. They are knowledgeable and professional. We had a very old house. Mike was straightforward about what had to be done to get ready for sale and as important he was clear about what was unnecessary to do. Mike described the buyer profile in detail. Fantastic experience: Wow, this team impressed me. I've participated in over a dozen real estate transactions (and pursued a few others that never came to fruition), so have seen a variety of realtors at work. Only one other firm that I worked with (in a different city) was as good at marketing a property and managing the transaction process as the The McCann team. However, that other realtor (again, a different market) was more expensive. I'm pretty sure that the McCann team headed off or managed a few nuisance issues during the sale of my home so that I never had to know about or deal with them. I've done enough real estate transactions to expect some minor issues to crop up during the sale, but everything went incredibly smoothly with the support of the McCann team. Knowledgeable, professional, and responsive. I would definitely work with them again.
