Negative experience: I’ve never felt so manipulated, and disrespected by a professional in my life. Working with this realtor from LPT Realty made it clear that her priority was never me it was her commission. From the very beginning, every conversation felt rushed, every recommendation felt convenient for her, and every concern I raised was minimized if it slowed her paycheck. Instead of advocating for my best interest, she pushed deals that benefited her timeline, not mine. She ignored red flags, brushed off questions, and applied pressure when I needed clarity. I was treated like a transaction. Maria is a no go.

Negative experience: Terrible business practice. Charging 5-7k on a BAC is absurd look for business elsewhere!

She seems okay as an agent but I would personally prefer somewhere a little more professional. edit: perhaps you didn’t speak to me yourself because you kept forcing your trainees to call me instead. I’m sure other people can concur but i felt i was pressured into leaving good review at first and i’m sure others were as well. so anyone reading beware

Negative experience: I hired Maria Quattrone- Remax @ Home in March of 2025. I relied on their expertise and trusted they would guide me responsibly in the selling process. Instead, I felt unsupported, uninformed, and left to navigate everything alone. Based on my experience, I CANNOT recommend this team. From the start, the guidance and professional advisement I expected from them were essentially absent. I made several decisions—such as approving a $5,000 deposit on a $750k transaction and agreeing to extend the contract 4 times!—based on trust in their experience and representation. Additionally, as per the contract, the $5,000 deposit has yet to be released to me for this deal falling apart- details below. Our very first experience was shortly after we hired Maria. Someone from her team went to the property to make copies of the keys, however took the keys and kept them overnight. This caused us to miss an important inspection and prevented my maintenance team from accessing the building for a scheduled repair. Multiple tenants also reported their doors being left unlocked after showings, which left me extremely concerned. Once the property went under contract, communication became nearly nonexistent. Maria, the representative I hired, never communicated with me a single time throughout the entire transaction. I was instead directed toward someone else handling everything—something I was never informed about upfront. Even during the contingency period, no one from the team attended a single inspection or appointment, including those that were rescheduled multiple times. When I asked for clarification about an additional (4th) extension, Dara stated that I “had no choice” but to sign. As the owner, I did have a choice, and the manner in which this was communicated felt unnecessarily forceful and added to my concerns about the representation I was receiving. Based on the timeline I was given, I vacated 4 of 5 units as requested by the buyer. Yet the sale dragged on with no updates, no guidance, and no communication. When the deal ultimately fell through, I wasn’t notified by anyone on the listing side—I had to reach out to the buyer’s agent myself just to understand what was happening. This lack of representation and communication resulted in over $25,000 in losses due to vacancy and delays. To make matters worse, Remax @ Home, Maria Quattrone & Dara Ellis, are refusing to release me from the one-year listing agreement despite the repeated issues and lack of support. For many reasons, not all described here, I regret hiring this team.

Negative experience: RUN from this place, not trustworthy....The whole staff here is Very Unprofessional and Very dishonest and if you don't agree with what they want you to do they'll lock you in Lopsided Contract and Ignore your calls and emails..This agency charges a Flat Rate of $7000 to sell low end Real Estate, when PA Commissions are 5.35 - 6%...They verbally advise you of the Inflated Commission after you sign a blank listing agreement with no amounts written on it, then take 3 weeks to give you actual copies of what you signed..Very Scammish and a total Money Grab...Not sure how these folks sleep at night..It's disgusting...

Negative experience: I am currently trapped in my deal and Maria wants me to short sale or breakeven on the deal. It appears I will have to go the legal route to get out of the contract, we clearly have different visions, I do not know why they are so stuck on keeping me LOCKED in a contract that does not serve me. I personally believe they want me to sell the property or lose it so they can have their investor buddies come and buy it for pennies on the dollar, if they believe I will allow this to happen they are sadly mistaken, the press is not worth it, let me out of the contract, my property is downtown Philly, 8 parking spots, a swimming pool, 4 stories, best view in the city and they want me to breakeven? No some shady things are happening at Blake Holsey High. They even uploaded unedited photos of debris in the photos. I had to force them to remove the photos.

Negative experience: Unfortunately some of the poorest customer service I've ever experienced. Had a tour planned for Saturday, agent asked me to reschedule to Sunday the morning of. Reluctantly but politely agreed. On Sunday 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time was informed that they had already signed a lease on the property. Extremely frustrating considering I rearranged both days of my weekend to accommodate a tour that never happened. Would certainly never deal with them again.

Positive experience: Our condo was on the market for 6 months. We had 2 previous realtors that were not able to sell the property. Thanks to MariaQuatrone Remax group was able to obtain a buyer and close the deal in 3 months.

Fantastic experience: I am working with Tanya Knight and Royce and they are the best they are so patient with me even though it's been two years going on last year was not a good year cuz I broke a bone my foot and dislocated. Fantastic experience: “Dara is a miracle worker” is how I would describe our REMAX agent. Our condo hit a bad bump in the road due to our prior realtor (I won’t mention her name) not following thru with underwriting then lying about the situation which caused the deal to tank a week before close). We quickly pivoted to REMAX and Dara set us on the path for success. She was clear, concise, honest and held our heads above the water to navigate thru a rough situation. Dara and REMAX made us feel safe. Her second in charge Andrew made sure the finer details were complete as well. We settled today after a couple months on the market and we are 1000% pleased.

Negative experience: I asked if they would be able to show me one of their listings. They demanded I sign a buyer agent agreement which stated that I'd have to pay them 3% of the purchase price! These people are crazy to demand 3% fee for showing a condo once. The buyer agent agreement was only for one day and applicable to only the property I was interested. Of course, I did not sign it.

Fantastic experience: The sale of our house brought up many surprise issues including inspections, permits and necessary repairs. Dara Ellis and Andrew Konefel helped guide us all the way through with as much ease as possible. Their professionalism and guidance are unmatched. We plan on using them again when we purchase another home and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing to buy or sell their home.

We spent almost 1hr on a call just comparing different scenarios. She even followed up a couple of weeks later to check my progress. Because of my contract with the other realtor I couldn't use her at the time. If you're looking to do business or buy in Philly area I'd use Darra! For someone who doesn't know me to share that much information without signing a contract or using them speaks values in my book! The system set in place requires a great deal of discipline and commitment. Future recipients should know that the program is very fast paced and requires full dedication.
