Fantastic experience: Working with the Kendall Bonner Team and specifically Norma Vargas was the ideal scenario of selling and buying a property and making it feel easy and worry free. I had the best experience as a first time homebuyer thanks to Norma. As a first time buyer, I had a million questions. I was contacting her so many times, I thought she would give up on me. She never did. She always answered quickly and walked me through step by step, putting me at ease, making me feel completely comfortable. She made the process so seamless that I could see myself buying another but only using her as my realtor. I can’t recommend more highly. Negative experience: This was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this agency based on what my in-laws went through with their agent, Allison. I initially recommended her because I had spoken with her previously about rentals and found her to be very pleasant. My in-laws were relocating from North Carolina to Florida, and Allison was fully aware that we would be involved in the process due to the out-of-state move. From the beginning, communication was a major issue. She would go days without responding to calls, texts, or emails. My in-laws were highly motivated buyers and, while selective, already had several homes in mind. Despite this, Allison would not allow us to view homes on their behalf as they requested. There were multiple occasions where we felt forced to view properties on our own due to her lack of responsiveness. At one point, communication was so poor that my in-laws’ North Carolina realtor began helping them search for homes in Florida. They ultimately found a home they were very interested in, but Allison refused to submit an offer because she disagreed with the price they wanted to start at, despite it being their decision. She frequently sent listings she knew they wouldn’t be interested in or would simply say there were no options available despite the fact that they were flexible on location and there were clearly many available properties, even with a basic Zillow search. When they finally went under contract, they were rushed through the walkthrough and were not allowed to be present for the inspection. The inspection missed several major issues, including cracked windows, a broken hot water heater, and a malfunctioning pool pump. When asked for the inspector’s information, Allison responded that they “could find it in five minutes if they really wanted to,” and later stated she had done “more than enough” because she picked my father-in-law up from the airport (something that should be standard for an agent working with out-of-state buyers.) Overall, while the brokerage itself may be reputable, I would not recommend Allison to anyone looking for an agent who is responsive, supportive, and truly invested in helping clients find the right home.

Fantastic experience: Jenna was extremely professional and handled a very difficult agent and seller, to help us buy our house in Gulfport. We had several challenging situations occur, most importantly a new roof, that Jenna was able to secure to close the deal on our house. I would highly recommend Jenna to help sell or buy your next home.

Lilliana has treated my goddaughter like family and has worked to ensure a smooth transition for my goddaughter during an incredibly difficult time. I live in upstate New York, and it has been a challenge to help my goddaughter from such a distance. With my goddaughter‘s permission, Lilliana has been available to communicate with me both nights and weekends and whenever I’ve needed to reach out. She has shown compassion, caring and has been supportive to my goddaughter and to me. I have moved a number of times in my life and have never experienced such a thoughtful realtor. I told Lilliana if I ever considered moving to Florida to be closer to my goddaughter, she is the first one I call to assist me with buying a home. Negative experience: I was very dissatisfied with the process of buying a home. As a first time homebuyer, I was very unaware of how the entire process was. I advised my realtor of my knowledge and home buying. Even knowing my knowledge in homebuying, I feel like she did not do her best when it came to helping me understand each process and every step of the way. When it came to helping me find the best home fit for me and my kids, I feel like her intentions were positive, however, after that, I felt like she kind of disappeared. I was unaware of the full underwriting process and the different things I would have to complete before closing. It felt like chaos and rushed due to the lack of knowledge I had. However, with all of that, I was very upset to not see anyone from the team at my closing. Due to her other commitments, She was not able to attend, however I would have rescheduled if she needed. It wasn’t an option and at the time I didn’t know it was an option. I was very upset to find out that no one would be there, and I had many issues trying to locate my keys after closing, which made it even more of a worse experience. I tried and attempted to ask as many questions as I could, however, due to my lack of knowledge of the process, I did not know the correct questions to ask and when to ask them. Overall, my experience was not the best and I was not happy being a client for the team. Somewhere during the process, there was a lot of miscommunication between Lennar, myself and my agent.
