Experiencia negativa: I lived at Jefferson Place Apartments for about 7 months, and it turned out to be a very frustrating experience overall. Right from move-in, maintenance was unreliable and slow to respond. I found myself submitting frequent requests, especially due to ongoing pest issues. Dealing with roaches became a regular problem, which should never be the case in a properly maintained community. On top of that, the apartment was not in acceptable condition when I moved in — the carpets and floors were not clean, and I noticed pest issues immediately. I had taken photos on day one, but those concerns were never taken seriously or resolved. What made things worse was the situation after I moved out. I was billed a large amount for repairs like resurfacing, even though those exact issues had already been reported during my stay. It felt unreasonable to be charged for problems that were pre-existing or previously raised. The move-out handling was also very poorly managed. The final statement was supposed to be shared within two weeks, but I only received it on April 27th — nearly four weeks later — and only after repeatedly following up. This delay left me with very little time to go through the charges or raise any concerns. There was also a complete lack of proper communication around the payment process. I was never clearly informed about a final due date, and there was no fair opportunity provided to settle the balance. I had autopay enabled, yet the payment didn’t process, and I wasn’t notified about it. Trying to get answers was extremely difficult. My previous maintenance requests and supporting proof were overlooked, and reaching out to the property manager, Jennifer, did not help as responses were either delayed or not provided at all. Overall, the entire experience was stressful and disappointing. It ended up being both financially and emotionally exhausting, and it completely changed my impression of the place. I would strongly caution anyone thinking about moving here to reconsider and explore other options.

During my stay, I submitted multiple maintenance requests for issues with the bathtub and countertops, but these problems were never fully resolved. Despite reporting them in advance, I was later charged a significant amount after moving out for repairs and resurfacing. These charges feel excessive and not consistent with normal wear and tear. Also I have showed pictures on my first day move and I have seen roaches, unclean carpet, floor and broken patio but none of them considered. Please careful once you move this kind of communities. The communication during the dispute process was extremely frustrating. My concerns and prior maintenance history were not properly considered. Additionally, the property manager, Jennifer, has been unresponsive to emails and calls, making it very difficult to get any clarification or resolution. I even traveled from New Jersey to Irving in person to dispute these charges, but the experience remained unhelpful and stressful. I honestly wish I could give zero stars, but unfortunately no option. Overall, this situation was financially and emotionally burdensome and completely overshadowed my time living there. I would not recommend this community and suggest others look elsewhere.
Experiencia negativa: This place monthly rental looks reasonable. BUT the catch is when you move out they charge you unbelievable amounts. When i move out from this place after my lease is over this management charged me 416.75 $ to resurfacing the bath tub. When i moved i paid for a cleaning company to come and clean everything and if you all see the pictures this is how i left the bath tub. But the management says there is fading and the tenant is responsible but legally this falls under normal wear and tear conditions. Be careful before you move here. This keeps happening . If you don’t believe me go and see the other reviews left by previous tenants. If this happened to you and charged unbelievable amounts please report to Texas Attorney General and also file a small claims case. This scam needs to be stopped.

Experiencia negativa: This place should be closed permanently. It’s infested with hundreds of roaches. They are inside the walls and roof. Same thing with all the mold on bathrooms. After a month you will see them in your bed, the kitchen. Everywhere. In the top of that they charge astronomical amounts for move-out pest controls. Reported to the City of Dallas Department of Code compliance.
Experiencia negativa: Front desk staff: Five star. The apartment itself: one star or two star. I would NOT recommend anyone living in this apartment for FREE let alone PAY for it. The walls are paper thin, and the whole complex is infested with ROACHES and several other bugs in HVAC vents and walls. It's not just... the problem that they have bugs in the complex, but the fact some of these bugs can give you deadly infections and in some cases autoimmune disease. It happened to a friend of mine's wife. I even asked him to give me a credit on my rent since they haven't been able to fix the roach and bugs problem, but they refuse to do that! I would stay far away from this property. They shut down water for several hours every few days to fix water leaks and whatnot. That tells you that they have mold and mildew issues as well. And I've never seen signs that proper MOLD remediation was done by a certified company such as removing old drywall treating with proper chemicals while noone living inside, let it dry, and installing a new one by right professionals. And the excuse that only dirty and some tenants have these ROACH, FLEAS and other PEST problems is beyond ridiculous! I have lived in six different states and lived in more than two dozen communities, and I've never had this many problems. And now I know dozens of people who had the same experience in this area. Also be careful when you're looking at the ratings: some of the businesses pay $$$$ to "Social Media Consulting companies".... to give 5 * positive reviews for them....

They don’t do anything about it and most of the appliances are all outdated. I wouldn’t recommend living here to anybody. Plus with the prices they are charging you could find a modern luxury apartment.

No response from Manger and Staff❌❌❌ I just saw the other reviews as well. All were mentioning they also got $2600 as move out charges which is redundant❌ Please be careful before taking lease in these apartments. Also, sometimes you get back water which is lavaratory water back into your apartment. It repeated for 2-3 times for my friends.

No proof, no clear answers from the office, and friends had the same issue. Maintenance was terrible, complaints ignored, but fines kept piling up. 200 dollars for pest service even though it was never done, 900 dollars for a countertop. These are just examples of how unreasonable the charges are. Unfair, exploitative, and not worth the stress. Avoid this place. I forgot to add one more thing. Till now I came 3 times to meet manager to discuss this. Always getting the answer that she was busy. They are just waiting for the due date instead of showing up or helping.

And my car got towed even though my car details were on file. They literally ask for your car details the day you move in. Staff were incredible unhelpful about the situation. Please don’t inconvenience yourself by living here.
Experiencia negativa: I leased with Jefferson Place in 2023 and had no idea I owed anything until two years later, in 2025, when I suddenly received an email saying I had a $1,137 balance sent to collections. This was the first time I was ever informed of any charges. I immediately contacted the leasing office asking for an explanation and proof. After calling several times and being ignored, I told them I would go in person — only then did they respond. 7 hours later, I finally received an email with photos of my old apartment, which showed it in good condition. The only items left were a small piece of furniture and a Christmas tree, which I intentionally didn’t take due to a roach infestation in the unit. I wasn’t going to risk bringing pests into my new home. When I asked why no one contacted me before sending the balance to collections, they said it had been “mailed” — yet they never asked for or confirmed a forwarding address when I moved out. I asked where exactly they sent it, and they couldn’t give an answer. They had my phone number and email, yet chose not to call or email me even once. Their attitude was basically: “That’s not our responsibility. It’s with collections now.” I then contacted the collection agency (Innovation Recovery), and that became even more upsetting. I called multiple times, and someone would answer but say nothing on the phone. So I sent an email requesting: Proof of where this notice was mailed A full breakdown and explanation of the charges I finally got a call back, and when I again insisted on getting proof of where it was sent — because this is affecting my credit and I deserve to know if things were handled correctly — I spoke with a manager. She became extremely hostile, started screaming at me, saying “We don’t have to do that for you,” and then disconnected the call before I could even respond. I’m shocked by the lack of professionalism, accountability, and empathy from both the apartment and the collection agency. I’m living on a tight budget, working hard to move forward, and this surprise charge — with no warning, no communication, and no willingness to help — is now hurting my credit and preventing me from getting a new apartment. After reading other reviews, I realized I’m not the only tenant this has happened to. Several others have been hit with surprise balances and sent to collections with no fair notice. To anyone thinking of renting here: Before you move out, demand a full in-person inspection and get every detail in writing. Make sure they confirm your forwarding address in writing. Take pictures of your unit when you leave. If you don’t, you risk being blindsided later with charges that no one will explain or take responsibility for. If you push for answers, they’ll either ignore you, hang up on you, or say, “That’s not our problem.” We all have our own challenges in life the last thing tenants need is to be taken advantage of, disrespected, and left with a collection on their credit because of poor communication and mismanagement.

Fines out the wazoo every chance they get. 5. Maintenance unreliable and unprofessional. 6. Old, barely functional appliances. 7. Thin walls & ceiling. 8. Parking lot floods/full of dirt. 9. Pools constantly under maintenance. 10. Hair all over apartment upon move-in. 11. Doors crack/pop when opened. DETAILS: 1. Stole $150: They've either intentionally stolen $150 from me, or their system is so unreliable that they accidentally stole $150 from me. I set up auto-pay, and TWICE now, that auto-pay has been disabled without notifying me. The first time, I thought maybe I did something wrong, but now it's happened a second time. $150 late fee on rent because their own system messed up or they cancelled my autopay -- not sure which. Note: DO NOT USE AUTO PAY. Either their system doesn't work or they intentionally cancel autopays in order to charge fees. You'll need to manually pay your rent each month if you decide to move here. 2. Roaches: Ever since we first moved in, there have been roaches all over the apartment in every room. Floor. Ceiling. Walls. Cabinets. Everywhere. Pest control cannot fix it, even when the office does bother to send them to your apartment -- you just have to live with it. 3. Awful cabinet smell: All of the cabinets smell bad. Deep cleaning and a deodorizer don't fix the smell. I can't figure out what the smell is, but it sticks to dishes and cups. Enjoy smelling dank cabinet every time you take a sip of water from the cup you stored there. 4. Fines: This place only stays afloat on giving out fines every chance they get. I'm convinced that if they went a week without fines, they'd go bankrupt. 5. Maintenance is unreliable: I have never yet had a good experience with maintenance in the dozen times I've needed to submit a work order. Every time they've come to my apartment, it has seemed like their only goal was to get away without fixing the problem. Example: Work order to fix my dishwasher. They needed to "test" the dishwasher in order to ... idk, make sure I wasn't lying?? So they had me load it up with dirty dishes, and start the wash cycle. They said they'd be back to check on the result. Three days pass with no return visit -- work order marked as complete. My dishwasher still doesn't work right. 6. Barely functional appliances: The appliances are all old and barely functional. Only one of our stove-eyes actually heats to an acceptable degree -- the rest barely get hot. The dishwasher only cleans about 75% of the bottom rack and about 25% of the top rack. It's essentially unusable for anything more than a rinse (which takes 2 hours for some reason). The microwave makes a terrible rattling noise while running. The only appliance that actually completely works is the water heater. 7. Thin walls & ceiling: You can hear every step from the people above you. You can hear every step when someone is climbing the stairs near your apartment. You can constantly hear A/C units running. 8. Parking lot floods/full of dirt: With anything more than a light rain, certain parking spots will flood. That flooding leaves behind muddy silt that's slippery and coats your shoes for days afterward. 9. Pools constantly under maintenance: On any given day, there's about a 75% chance that the pool will be closed for some kind of maintenance. Often, they've been jackhammering the concrete. It's also unclear when it is and isn't closed, so it's hard to tell when the pool is clean and usable unless you call the offices and hope they know the answer (they often don't). 10. Hair all over apartment upon move-in: There was an immense amount of hair all around the baseboards when we moved in. Visible hairs are also painted into walls, doors, baseboards all over the place -- can't be removed unless you remove the paint. 11. Doors and doorframes incorrectly repainted: Doors & frames stick to each other, causing loud cracking pop every time you open a door.

Experiencia negativa: I had a very disappointing experience with Jefferson Place. After moving out, I was charged an excessive amount for damages that did not exist. I repeatedly requested proof of these charges, including evidence of the claimed damages and any replacements made, but the management has been unresponsive. Despite multiple emails and calls, the management has been completely unresponsive to my requests for proof. As students, we expected fair and honest treatment, but unfortunately, that was not the case. We even documented the apartment with videos on the day of move-out, proving there were no such damages, yet they still imposed unfair charges without any justification. This lack of transparency and concern for residents—especially students—makes this a terrible renting experience. If you're considering living here, be extremely cautious and document everything before moving out. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for fair and honest management.

First pic which was highlighted was provided by the management showing that it was damaged and charged 240$ and if you see the second picture that was taken on the day of moving out there is no white color mark in that. We have full video of apartment while moving out. They must have added some white color mark to take this picture. Be careful guys take pictures before moving in and out. If you take pictures also they will say that they can see damage.

Wrongly informed me that they will give me a new lease made me apply and on the day I was supposed to get the keys cancelled the application by saying that I have to move to a bigger plan. This apartments have roaches problem but the manager will claim that we brought those. Manager wrongly accused me of rejecting service and she will vacate me if I reject one more time and never apologized when she found that she is wrong. Scheduled a roach clean out and made me remove everything from shelves when my roommate is out of town and cancelled the clean out and never bothered to inform me.

And they’re charging all residents when they move ridiculous charges. I moved out in November 2024, and upon my departure, I was explicitly informed that no outstanding dues were owed. However, to my dismay, I received a debt collection notice with ridiculous charges. appx they charged 1600+ Overall (700$+ for the Kitchen one more 240 for Kitchen / 250$ for the bathrooms). No matter how good the apartment while moving, they will charge equivalent to the rent you pay while moving out. This situation could have been resolved swiftly if proper communication had been initiated with me in the first place. These apartments have the worst roach problem in all of Irving. Worst Apartments to stay. Front desk employees are rude especially Assistant community manager, Full of attitude and no respect for tenants.
Experiencia negativa: Worst experience ever we had to join in on another tour when we made an appointment. We had to catch up with her during the tour because she was constantly 10 ft ahead of us. She basically kicked us out of the tour and just completely disregarded every question we had and just rolled her eyes. The place was decent but I guess that’s the service you get at a cheap place.

They have sprayed the pesticides couple of times already and I see no changes to the number of roaches at all.

Bad and small gym, average swimming pool, very single minded community. Roaches. Lots of roaches. And they charge you for clearing the roaches which is living here for more than 100 years I think.

This Community needs revamp & renovation for sure & Community makes all the attempts to get those amounts recovered from their tenants only by following unethical & untruthful means. Experiencia negativa: Unjust Collection Agency Involvement for Minor Outstanding Amount I recently experienced a deeply frustrating situation with the management . I moved out in November 2022, and upon my departure, I was explicitly informed that no outstanding dues were owed. However, to my dismay, a year later, I received a debt collection notice claiming unpaid dues. This sudden and unexplained change in stance has been incredibly disappointing and caused unnecessary stress. I don't like the fact that my name has been forwarded to a collection agency over a seemingly trivial amount. This situation could have been resolved swiftly if proper communication had been initiated with me in the first place.

And they’re charging all residents when they move ridiculous charges. $700 to resurface a bathtub? $50 for leaving my broom on my patio for a couple hours. You can hear every footstep from the people upstairs, theirs kids screaming through the halls at night. Was not a good experience living here & I don’t see why we should be charged that much.
Experiencia positiva: Very nice & decent ! No Laundry machines in the premises but overall good place to live as the staff is nice. The maintenance requests are immediately addressed. Especially Mr."Waldo" has been very helpful to timely fix any maintenance problems. Office staff members (Sarahi, Aliza, Andrea, Jenn & team) have been very helpful and organizing events to entertain the residents & families. Know that these apartments are older construction, but in good demand as it falls under good school district zipcode. Pest-control aspect needs extra attention and whole complex need premises-wide outdoors pest control, More trees and bushes can be planted. This could compensate for the old look of the complex. The Gym has been renovated and has new equipment, however, I & most neighbours are surprised with the absurd corporate decision by WestDale company about removing the laundry machines from the premises entirely to be replaced by bicycle racks. Essential amenities are more important than luxury. This lack of laundry causes a lot of logistics issues for washing clothes. Maybe this is an idea about the corporate to start charging rental fees for washing machines to residents, However causing such inconvenience is a very much flawed long-term strategy. I hope there is at least one laundry (public/resident) unit in the premises soon. I would say overall considering the price apartment is a good dwelling place.Thanks - Sata U.

They don't let tenants speak. full of attitude and no respect for tenants. lot of cockroaches in all the buildings. I heard the same thing from other tenants who stay in other buildings. maintenance service is very poor. you'll have to submit a maintenance request for every 2 weeks for one or the other and those will not be taken care immediately. They don't event deserve for 1 star. very old buildings and AC will not keep the house cool in the summers. I had worst experience in the summer. you will be charged for these worst experience in the end when you moveout.

Experiencia negativa: I have raised the complaint twice regarding the weed smell. Somebody has been smoking weed in my building. The smell is literally all over in my unit and it is so suffocating. Especially the smell coming from wash & dryer unit area . I have requested Jefferson staff to resolve this issue and I got the answer back ( we cannot do any thing with our manager ) . If they are dependent on manager to take action on this and it is not at all fair . Until that I have to struggle like this ? . Dear manager I hope you will be reading this and kindly please take serious action if not I will vacate this apartments .

They will charge you incorrectly for the services they will never provide. No consideration to resident 's health and safety. I have asked multiple times for some sort of mass cleaning or pest control and they just keep saying they have no idea where it’s coming from. They are crawling on us when we sleep and even during the day crawling on our furniture and I’m our food. Can’t even have a cup of coffee in the morning without roaches crawling inside.

Experiencia negativa: Manager given me one price to move in once I moved in and paid what I was quoted the next day got a email that I owed an extra $50 something because I was quoted incorrect amount. I did not think I should pay any more but I did because I had no where else to move to. Roaches was not a problem when I moved in but been here 6 months and they have a bad roach problem.
Experiencia negativa: I am giving one star rating since there is no zero rating. It's the WORST apartment that I ever lived. Please don't even consider coming in to this apartment complex if you want have peace of mind. Management is worst, water gets shut down frequently and it's full of ROACHES and they keep coming back whatever they do. When you are moving out, forget your security deposit that you paid and be ready to shell extra money from your pocket for the repairs which will be on you that is NOT your fault. I am attaching the move out statement that they provided and I had to pay $630 (including security deposit). The bath tubs in the apartment are decades old which they will just paint for new residents and will charge you while moving out for resurfacing it which is a cycle, and they charge $200 for each bath tub repair. The manager of the apartment was very rude and don't even have respect to residents, while Jennifer was trying to waive off some charges. They will make EVERY repair to your unit on your expense by telling some silly and insane reasons. They may respond to my review that they are sorry for bad experience and contact office for any help, please DON'T believe them. If you want to have peace of mind, please stay away.
Experiencia negativa: There has been more “emergency water shutoffs” in the year I’ve been here than all my apartment experiences put together. Also, this past year I called the office about two months before my lease was to end due to me not receiving anything in the mail, no phone calls, an email, or anything about renewing my lease. I called to verify me end date of July 1st. I was told “no it ends in September”. Well the day that I thought/knew my lease ended, I get a call that said “your lease ends today” so I was forced to sign a 14-month lease and when I went to discuss this, they basically said “too bad”. Once my lease ends I will NOT be renewing or living at any other properties managed by this company

Experiencia negativa: I won’t recommend this place to live, as Staff is very rude to customers, none of the people know about immigration law rules and legal stay in USA, they are forcing to take short term lease. People citizens in outside of US especially, please be careful before reaching out. I am not sure why I give a single start, Google restricting me at least one.

Experiencia negativa: The trash management is very bad. They simply post fine before even warning the tenant about any potential fine and also they have lot of hidden fees for washer and dryer. This place is expensive and has lot of hidden charges but apartment is not worth in any way.
Experiencia negativa: This is the worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. They frequently shut off water due to ‘unforeseen’ issues for 8+ hours, often without prior notice! The buildings are old, and the cracks in the walls have roaches! They send pest control but nothing happens. The first floor gets flooded all the time and there’s stagnant water everywhere!. It’s all just loud and Gross. The office staff have always been professional and maintenance has been prompt, so no complaints about that. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

Experiencia negativa: Pls don't move to this apartment really if you want to be safe. I have been here for a year and seeing many thefts and brutal attacks, but the management is not doing anything for tenants safety and they are simply asking people to vacate if we don't feel safe. There is no closed gate and when it's near by the main road, more unknown people and cars can come and roam here. Another big problem is Roaches.. here and there and everywhere roaches and when you ask them for pest control, they are blaming us back saying you are the only home with Roaches and none other home have roaches in this community. Even if you do pest control, the Roaches are not going away. Pls don't think to book an apartment in this community.
Experiencia negativa: Roaches lots of roaches, seems to be a common theme in both the reviews and the complex. They often shut down water and elect to not pick up the trash. Long wait times for any work order (weeks). Unsupervised children everywhere, (including the street where we park) all hours of the day. People walk in the middle of the street everyday and look at drivers as if they are the ones in the wrong for trying to park their vehicles. Staff sent out an email asking the residents not to block the streets but they still do every day at all hours of the day. Could be worse, that is why I gave this place a 2 out of 5. I will say that Jennifer in the office has been great. She handles issues quickly and kindly several praises have been posted about her in the reviews for good reason.

Experiencia negativa: I think the management has started renovating the apartments replacing countertops after new Assistant Manager took the charge. They charged me total of $970 when I moved out including $675 for kitchen countertop and $175 for resurfacing them. There was no damage to the countertops. I asked for the receipts they paid for the new countertops, but I have not received. Stayed in 2BHK for 2 years. Kept the apartment clean and neat. No damages in the apartment. Tried to reach Assistant Manager multiple times through phone, but no response. It is not a good idea to charge latest tenant to replace old counter tops of the apartment. It was not at all satisfactory and Property Managers have not even attended my phone calls. Assistant Manager Yvonne Camacho is terrible. She is not even ready to listen what I am saying.

And management is awful especially that lady mamed Hilda! 900 dollars in late fees for 4 months! During a global pandemic and job layoffs is absurd! They are thieves! Not worth it.
Experiencia negativa: Do not move into these apartments unless you really have too!! I recently had to have Orkin do a deep spray due to issues with roaches. I think these apartments have an issue with roaches, no matter which building you move into. The reason being, I was initially suppose to move into another apartment and the reason I couldn’t was due to roaches. They even didn’t call to let me know before I moved that my Unit number would be different. Such an inconvenience due to I had to call everyone of the Unit change the day of. I am responsible for the 3178.00 charge, which I think is unfair. 2nd issue they don’t honor no noise policy. The people above me sounds like they are running a daycare and I’m still working from home. I have completed about the noise on the previous tenant and all she stated is, We can reach out to them but we can’t make them quiet down. My last appointment complex issued fines and then would start to evict. I guess these apartments don’t have a policy like that. I hate I signed a 15 month agreement…..smdh
Experiencia fantástica: i Just singed 4th year lease extension. This is very nice apartment, great staff and very quick maintenance team and great community. The conduct nice fun activities for residents. The apartment office girls Especially Sarahi is very patient , kind and curtious and helpful in residents answering question or taking care when there is issue and updates you back very regularly. The other two girls jennifer and jenny are also very great. Maintenance team is great especially waldo he is awesome

Here's what you can expect: Pros • Cheaper rent • Good location (near food & grocery) • Maintenance has been responsive • Has an Amazon hub • Parking has almost never been an issue Cons • Walls are very thin • Right across from a fire station, so expect to here sirens a lot • Water has been shut half a dozen times • No sidewalks and residents love to take walks on the road which can be annoying • Lots of dog poop • Does not recycle • We had to sign documents multiple times due to the apartment "losing them" • Say they have "strict" rules for what can be kept on balconies yet residents clearly leave out grills, bikes, lights, etc

Experiencia negativa: I was looking for new apartment and i Got similar feedbacks from my friends who were staying there , saw the reviews on the roaches and treatments , cost involved for the pre-existing problem during inspection once we onboarded which seems little disappointing and so i decided to switch back my opinion on selecting Jefferson place and moved out to my new community now .. Please think twice on roaches specifically and get the feedback from your friends personally incase you know someone stayed or staying in Jefferson Place. Also take a close look of valuable google reviews before taking a decision to move in.
Experiencia negativa: Agree with the most of the reviews about roaches problem and management response on that.they charges too much for treatment. We were told our apartment needed the treatment without inspecting.when requested for inspection, the guy inspected told no treatment required and took one picture of one and only bug from unused dishewasher. But again we got the mail from management asking for treatment. We requested another inspection with management and they told there would be charge for inspection though the pest control guys visit almost every day. Really upset and realized the worst decision of moving here. I should have read the reviews before move in as just renewed till December. Guys please be aware of this and stay away.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a resident at Jefferson Place since it was built in April 1991-yes 30 years. I have obviously been very happy here or I would not have stayed here this long. I have never had any pest control issues in all 30 years of living here. The staff has always been attentive to my needs and I can sometimes be a very demanding person. The current staff headed up by Michelle Robles (manager) and Yvonne Comacho (asst. Manager) have always been willing and able to solve any issues that I have. Sarahi and Jennifer have also been very willing to help me. Any maintenance requests have been promptly solved by Miguel and Waldo. Very great property overall.

The roaches problem never go irrespective of the different treatments. Despite the issues, the rents are still on higher rate compared to market during pandemic. The management takes long time to respond to any of the issues reported. Most of the times, one of the pools is not accessible and closed

Experiencia negativa: I’m going to say this I love Jennifer she rocks she always helps us to get everything done when we need something. She’s the right person to speak to when you need something done ASAP or if you have any questions. I love the apartment and all. The problem about it is that there is roaches, people are walking in the middle of the streets. We can’t have nothing in the Patios which this is the first apartment that I’ve ever heard that. All other apartments that I’ve have gone that my sister has lived on. They were aloud to have things in their patio. But oh well it don’t matter. But we have had issues with the washing machines and stuff. We had to always put down maintenance or talk to the office. They do their best they can with us and all. But we want things working ASAP. We don’t want to be dealing with it for 3 weeks or a month it’s not what we want to deal with. They give us a credit which it’s okay but it’s not okay for us having to have something that doesn’t work. I only have few months for lease to end but I am not renewing me and my fiancé we are ready to move out of this apartments. We don’t want to be dealing with the same issues over and over. We want something that gets fixed right away or that works and that if we need pest control that they come out by the same week and also to have things in the patio. Even if Las Colinas is reach or whatever you should still be able to have things in your balcony. No matter what that’s all I have to say.

Experiencia fantástica: Jefferson place is one of the great place to live. Myself and my husband staying in this community for 2years and our experience was awesome. The shops and restaurant are near by. Good staff service. The gym and pool are always clean and neat. Great management.

Experiencia negativa: Honestly I regret signing my lease here. I moved here because the pandemic took my nice job away and I needed something cheaper. I understand you get what you pay for but at this point with all of the issues I have faced it’s just not worth it. For starters my apartment wasn’t move in ready by the time the move in date came. To this day we are still discovering things that should have been taken care of prior to us moving in. For example 2 a/c ducts need to be replaced and repair the sheetrock. Does no one inspect these kinds of things before new tenants move in? Our apartment is going to be in shambles as they try and get that fixed. 10/10 do not recommend living here.
Experiencia positiva: Old but nice apartments. I like that this apartments have modular kitchen and wide pantry. The community is big and decent. Very good neighborhood, people in this apartments are very polite and friendly. The one concern we experienced is the leakage from the roof during the rainy season. We stayed in the middle floor but not sure how it was leaking rising concern they tried fixing it but even after that we have experienced water dripping from the roof.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible Experience. Im glad that I didn’t move in. I had a tour for an single and double bedroom apartment. Then I came to know how reckless the management is. He did mention that his name is SAUL. He didn’t gave any information that I asked for. He behaved like he is just working.. I just asked for pricing and lease term. He literally didn’t care my words. That was so disrespectful for me. Manager or Supervisor need to look into this for better community services.

Experiencia fantástica: After a month of living at Jefferson place I wanted to share my experiences. The front office, especially Sarahi and Saul were super helpful and responsive during my initial contact with the office and throughout my move-in process. Anytime I had a concern or a question they were quick with an answer and a solution. My experience with maintenance has been the same. Quick to respond, friendly, and took care of the requests professionally. I live on a top floor and the A/C wasn't working properly when I moved in which during the heat wave can be very problematic, but as soon as I put a request in, I had good experiences getting the A/C fixed. I've read a few other reviews mentioning the A/C, but I just communicated with the staff and the issue was resolved quickly and to my satisfaction. I've also not had any issues with bugs. The location of these apartments is fantastic. Highways and freeways all within 5-10 mins so you can get around quickly. Very centrally located. Whole Foods is very close along with Kroger and Target. There's tons of restaurants close by too. Plus a park within walking distance. Overall I'm very happy I decided to move to Jefferson Place. I have nothing but good things to say and the staff truly wants to make sure your experience here is great.
Experiencia positiva: I’ve lived in these apartments for 2 years so I want to give an in-depth review of my experience here. For those of you with a short attention span here’s the main summary: Good apartments, great neighborhood, the staff/maintenance is responsive and easy to get ahold of if any issues arise. I believe they’re slightly expensive considering some of the amenities surrounding apartments have for the same price however due to the location I feel like it’s a fair trade off. I’ve lived in two different units in this complex and spoken with residents who have lived here far longer. What you should know is that some of the units are a bit older and some were built a little bit later. My first unit I kept having issues with the AC, being on the top floor I assume there was just more heat rising in the apartment so my unit was generally pretty warm and I constantly had to have the AC on which went out probably two or three times within a year (however maintenance was quick to come out same day when I advised them of this). These are APARTMENTS so you’re going to hear your neighbors through the walls, I was originally on the 4th floor and got noise complaints from my dogs and I walking around in the unit so I transferred to a first floor. Now I hear the person above me but as long as you have that expectation you should be fine, not sure why it’s shocking to people that you hear your neighbors when you literally share walls...lol The complex is generally filled with lots of families. I always see families and their kids walking around the complex and kids playing so if you’re a family this would be a great environment for you, I definitely feel safe in these apartments you don’t really see strange or suspicious people around and Las Colinas is a great neighborhood to begin with, especially being so close to shopping, the Toyota Music factory, etc. I’ve had great communication with the office staff anytime an issue came up. They’ve been responsive, patient, and they get to know you so you feel welcome. My message to the staff: One of the amenities that would make these apartments more appealing to some renters would be a “bark park” or some kind of reserved area for that. There are potty stations throughout (which I appreciate!) however it would be nice for those of us with dogs to have a small grassy area we could let the pets run around in since several complexes surrounding offer this it’s enticing for those of us with pets. To future residents: When selecting your apartment I would be mindful of the location in the complex you select. The buildings parallel to MacArthur Blvd. get quite a bit of road noise which wasn’t an issue when I was more towards the middle of the complex. I personally don’t like being near pools since there’s a level of noise that comes with that as well, but there’s several great locations in the complex where you won’t have any real sound issues since it’s a generally peaceful complex. Final notes: Not sure why I see so many reviews talking about pest issues. I haven’t had any pest issues in my two years and they have pest control that comes out to spray.
