Fantastic experience: Very pleased with the prompt and courteous service we've experienced working with our association's Spectrum rep Courtney. We had a rather urgent need to remove a dying tree from our front yard and Courtney was very helpful throughout the property improvement process for both the removal and the approval of our relandscaping plan.

Negative experience: They are terrible. They took over about 6 months ago and proceeded to add chargeds to our account with no explanation. Took forever to get a hold of anyone to actually have a conversation with anyone. They send a email saying we have to pick up our new fobs and trash stickers less the 24 hrs notice saying it was the last opportunity, when was the other opportunities to get these items. Again, you can never reach anyone ever.

Fantastic experience: As Spectrum being our new HOA, I was having issues signing into the portal for the first time. I emailed our community manager Gina Harrison and she was nothing but “AMAZING and HELPFUL”, Gina walked me through the steps needed to create my account and emailed me back with confirmation that everything was “up and running”. Her quick response to emails shows her dedication to her work ethics and communities she works with. Please “THANK” Gina for me, I truly appreciate her!

Negative experience: this company is horrible. Not only are they a horrible HOA that don't manage the subdivision but their online site is terrible and they still charge extra to make a payment and it doesn't matter how, via ach or with a card they charge extra. I would never recommend this HOA search for a better one, they are out there. this one has hidden fees, and increases every year, with nothing to show for it.

Negative experience: Gina from the HOA informed me today that my toy hauler that I have prior authorization to park in front of my house for loading and cleaning. I was out of compliance. Although she was misinformed, by someone. Whatever happened to making simple call and ask the question. How hard would that be? Instead, making Accusation and upset someone over being misinformed. There are several issues within the community that I could complain to them about that are their issues. I.e. green zones that have been washed out two out of three years. Trees-that scratch my truck coming into the community wall paint that looks like somebody painted it With the crayon. Also you have to pay by check or they charge you a fee. Make sure your house is order first. A simple phone call could Solve a lot of issues.

Fantastic experience: Brenda Steel of Spectrum association for Southern Springs is very nice. We had family staying with us for a few weeks and she messaged the HOA board so that our family would not get a parking on the street overnight ticket. She also messaged the 3rd party who gives tickets, letting them know to not give us a ticket for our overnight parked vehicle as our family was staying with us, and we did not get a ticket for overnight parking. We had our truck and trailer parked on the street overnight for a few days as we were getting it ready for a ride. I messaged Brenda letting her know, to please not give us a violation or ticket and she messaged the HOA board and 3rd party to let them know hey we were going to be parked overnight for a few days, and we did not get a ticket or violation. To be honest, not everyone likes HOAs. However a lot of neighborhoods have them and you have to deal with their rules and regulations. Although I don't agree on all the HOA rules of Spectrum in our community, whenever I talk to Brenda about them she finds a solution. There is solutions to HOA rules and regulations you just have to follow the process.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Dache at Spectrum has been absolutely amazing! He followed up and let me know where I was at in the approval process and even when he missed an email from me he made the corrections and followed through promptly. My requests have been processed in a timely manner. He made it very easy and convenient.

Fantastic experience: We have THE BEST COMMUNITY MANAGER in Gina Portocarrero! I have lived in the community for 11 years, and every issue, concern and question I approached Gina with has been quickly addressed, responded to, and resolved. We've worked together on abandoned vehicles, amenity access, homeowner violations, and more. Every time, without exception, resulted in very speedy replies, and if additional information was necessary, we worked together to assemble all necessary information. I literally ALWAYS know I am in excellent care with Gina. A million questions can come up during home ownership and HOAs, but Gina is an amazingly knowledgeable resource that actually comforts us as homeowners. Like a super smart and nice relative you can rely on! I feel badly for any community that DOESN'T have Gina! Wow wow wow and one more WOW!

Negative experience: This management company is a joke. So many issues in our housing community. Locking pool bathroom doors and only sell keys if you drive to their location, which is an hour drive for me. They put in gym equipment but never finished putting it together. Now they are closing the pool the first week of July to replace the fence around it. It doesn't seem to have any issues, the locks work and nothing is falling down. Seems it could wait until September when no one wants to swim. Also, the pool area has no shade or tables and chairs. HOA dues are $140 a month and all we get bare bone amenities.

Negative experience: They don't even have an auto pay/recurring payment option to pay full balance owed, so inevitably when the HOA raises dues every year, my auto pay is no longer auto pay so I have to pay their $1.99 extra to pay the $X increase AND have to deal with updating my auto pay to do the same exact thing every year. Who even programs their payments this way WITHOUT an option to pay full amount due? Edit: spectrum, you responded to me editing this but never responded over a year ago when I originally posted this.

Fantastic experience: Time to replace our roof. After the sticker shock, I start the HOA approval process. This starts with the management company. This was Spectrum for me. I was dreading the wait, expecting a week or so. Not so. It was actually less than 24 hours including the Architectural Control Committee review. This means actual time involving Spectrum was measured in minutes. I was pleasantly surprised. Now, to get the roofers to be that fast…

Fantastic experience: I'm leaving this review for Jennifer Ellsworth. I normally don't leave reviews but I live in Lowe Estates and my mom lives in the community as well. I've have dealt with the HOA a number of times for myself and my mom in the past. I must say Jennifer is exceptional and has gone above and beyond to help myself and our fellow neighbors to try and finally rectify the major issue that we have had for many years with trees and branches overhanging into our driveways from the school property trees causing us the homeowners a great deal of unnecessary cleanup and being a major nuisance to us and our homes. I brought this issue to her attention and she got to work on it immediately..she is kind compassionate and really cares about our community here in Lowe Estates. She is a blessing and breath of fresh air..

Fantastic experience: We just moved into this awesome neighborhood. I wanted to use the back gate to take my bike on the trail a 1/2 block away. I couldn’t open the pedestrian gate with the exit button. I contacted Jennifer Ellsworth our community manager had a board member meet me at the gate to figure out what was going on. She did so promptly that I was pretty impressed. I have experienced those managers that put things like this on hold and never look into things. Next I just bought a motorcycle and the front exit gate would not recognize it. I sent Jennifer a note about that and she immediately contacted the gate people who explained what I should do to get the gate to open. Her responsiveness is truly impressive. Thank you Jennifer Ellsworth! You are the best!

Negative experience: This HOA is filled with incompetent finger pointers and outrageous fees. I had a $99 balance my autopay didn't cover, due to the constantly rising HOA fee. I was then sent a FedEx letter of my bill, and charged a $50 delivery fee! Why is this necessary? I finally reached someone on the phone and was told it was taken care of. Then I get a bill for another $120 escalated property processing fee! So they can search for bankruptcies and foreclosures. All for an outstanding balance of $99! Totally uncalled for. And good luck trying to find someone who can actually address your problem. You are told to send an email and wait 1-2 months for the next HOA meeting. The worst HOA I have ever dealt with. Stay away from these crooks!

Negative experience: This company has an app, but there is seemingly no way to contact them by phone or email via the app. The association voted a year ago for amendments to the CCR’s and I have not heard back results? I searched the minutes and they are not current for 2024 save 1 month. Spectrum can do better.

Fantastic experience: I visited the Spectrum office last Friday regarding updates to the HOA account. Melissa, the community manager, assisted with uploading scans of documents and forwarded them on my behalf to the department responsible for making the changes. On Monday, Melissa followed up and confirmed the changes to the account had been made. She made what could have been a difficult process very seamless. As well, her attitude in assisting me was above and beyond with regard to customer service. I am grateful for such a pleasant experience working with her and the gentleman who greeted me when I entered the office.

Fantastic experience: Diana did an amazing job across time zones and state lines to help support my son, who lives away from home for the first time. Fantastic experience: I was applying (??) for a landscape update, and although the website seemed a bit clunky, the Managment company was very helpful so I could submit the accurate information the first time for approval. Courtney made the process very simple and reached out to me numerous times so I could compete it correctly.

Fantastic experience: Courtney Mullen was extremely helpful to me when I was requesting an improvement to my home that required HOA approval! She responded quickly and moved my request to the appropriate committee and kept me informed of their progress! It took just a little over 2 weeks to gain approval and I am now ready to have my project completed.

Negative experience: My neighbors have extremely loud motorbikes and ATVs that they'll drive up and down the street doing wheelies in, or just sit in their driveway revving their engine to be as loud as humanly possible. Over the 2-3 years I've lived here I've contacted Spectrum more than half a dozen times and they haven't done literally anything about it. Unless your garbage cans are out two hours too long (which they'll gladly charge you $50(!!!) for), they simply do not care about any other violations, no matter how egregiously trashy and disturbing they may be to the community. God bless America, the only place where companies can kick their feet up and do absolutely nothing while charging you $100 a month.
Fantastic experience: I am currently having a water leak issue in the common area adjacent to my wall and house. Brenda Steel initially contacted me and is working to solve the problem. I was also contacted by Diana Treantos and received help from her as well. I want to commend these Spectrum Management people for helping me with the water leakage. Fantastic experience: Our new community manager, Francesca Finklea, is awesome. In the 7 years we have lived in Arrowhead Ranch this is the first time we have ever gotten an actual response other than an auto reply stating our message was received. Francesca responded quickly to our concern and kept us updated. The issue was also taken care of quickly. Francesca is definitely the manager we want to keep

Fantastic experience: This HOA company is by far the best one I've worked with. Their website/app interface is very easy to use. All I have to do is fill out a simple form to request any changes to the outside of my house. And the best part is they usually respond to my change requests within a few business days. I've had no issues getting things approved and can usually proceed within 2 weeks of the initial request.

Fantastic experience: Recently, I had an opportunity to interact with Sonja Mosley, the Community Manager for Park Meadows where I own a rental property. Spectrum took over Park Meadows Management in July 2022. The previous management had not updated my mailing address, due to which I did not receive the communication regarding the change of Management. Also, the auto pay of the monthly assessments also dropped when the management changed. When I caught that monthly dues are not being paid, I and my wife visited the Spectrum office in Chandler at lunch time. Sonja was kind to take time to do the needful and help us get back on track and get the fines waived. I deal with many HOAs and their staff due to the nature of my business. Sonja was very professional and kind in her interaction and deserved 5/5 or more.
Negative experience: This HOA is the absolute worst. They constantly change the fee amounts and then charge outrageous penalties when my autopay is off. Absolute incompetent outdated system they are using. They are also very hard to contact. They are unethical in their business practices.

Negative experience: *See update below* Absolute horrible management company. Incompetent people are answering emails and they don't even know the rules for the communities they are in charge of. They disregard your concerns and then ignore your emails altogether saying they will "forward your concerns to the site manager." Raised the monthly HOA payment another $10 per month and the common areas have never looked worse. Disgraceful to say the least. *UPDATE* After leaving my initial review and receiving the comment below I tried again to contact the agency to deal with the issues. I was forwarded to the same person who disregarded me the first time. The next day I received a call from Brenda who expressed interest in helping me with said issue, but at the end of the call she asked me to change my 1 star review to a 5 star review. I declined and said I would gladly change it if my issue is looked into and resolved. I emailed the forms to her that she requested I fill out and got a thank you response. Since then, radio silence. I have emailed her two other times in the last 4 weeks asking for more info and if anything can be done to help resolve this and I have been blatantly ignored. I believe they only reached out to get me to change my review and not to really resolve anything. Still very unimpressed.

Negative experience: This company is a pain to deal with. Getting notices about my trash cans on the curb every Monday. Put them out Monday for Tuesday 4-5 a.m. pick up. REALLY. The rule they refer to in the notice is trash in the yard. Then get notices that trash in my yard when I set stuff out for bulk pickup from the city every 3 months (every house on the street has trash set out for the pick up day). Then trying to get ahold of them is a joke. Then when you do the property manager Kenneth is like ‘ not my fault ‘. Then they are here in review section saying contact us. Spectrumam aren’t you reading it’s impossible to contact you by your design. Watch they will just say contact us to a reply on this. As well they increase the fees every year and the accounting balance of intake to expense is always the exact same amount. Sorry I have ran retail stores and other businesses for over 22 years the intake to spending is never the exact same. This company really needs to be looked into. It’s time for people who live in the areas they manage to start going to the meetings and stand up and demand better and some answers.
Fantastic experience: Great experience working with Patricia and the whole team and committee. Needed to repaint the house. Asked for an extension and they granted it. Once ready and submission of approval form, it was approved quickly without any hassle. Big thank you to Ken and Patricia for the patience and understanding.

Negative experience: The bottom was my review 2 years ago, well, now I changed it from 4 star to 2 star, they hide phone numbers a while ago and force us to submit web forms, that's inconvenient but I can handle, however, the bigger issue is the are not responsive like before. Fantastic experience: I have had nothing but the best service and attention with Pam from Spectrum. She responds quickly and has a wonderful attitude along with a helpful nature. Anything I’ve brought up or shown concern over has been taken care of by Pam personally in a timely manner. I even get follow up communication when work/repairs/etc. are completed. Negative experience: Literally denied a basketball hoop for my kids in my own backyard. We requested approval and followed parameters from our old HOA, and sent that to Spectrum and they still denied. Now they want us to take it down after every use… Here’s the picture they sent me, which was taken from the main road behind our house. I don’t believe this hoop is an issue to anyone in the community. Ashley Park community has several hoops you can see over the wall, so not sure why we are singled out.

Negative experience: I live in one of their properties in Phoenix and I can tell you from my experience that this company has absolute incompetent staff and board members. Who are not even aware of their own rules and regulations. they keep fining me even when I am maintaining the property and refuse to answer any of my queries. I personally met with board members of this HOA for my area and they literally lied to my face saying the property is in good shape and just follow the procedure to get the violations resolved. which I do and however I keep getting fines. I will be leaving the property just cause i don't want to deal with this company any more .

Fantastic experience: Recently I requested for a property improvement approval. I was in need of a quick approval, as I found a contractor who agreed to do the job with a very short notice and reasonable price. I requested for an expedited approval. Spectrum staff (Tyrone Pringle) followed-up on my request with HOA board and got an approval on time, within 2-3 working days. Thank you, Tyrone.
