We drove 2,400 miles from Pennsylvania with caffeine in our veins, road trip snacks in our bloodstream, and grit between our teeth… and Edgar handled the rest like it was a casual Tuesday. This man did not “help” us into a house. He orchestrated it. He navigated paperwork, time zones, and our cross-country stress spiral with the calm energy of someone who has already seen the ending credits. At one point I’m pretty sure he was answering emails, coordinating documents, and keeping us sane all at the same time. If multitasking were an Olympic sport, Edgar would have the gold medal hanging next to his Realtor license. We showed up 2,400 miles from home and somehow ended up with keys instead of tears. That feels illegal. If you want someone who: • Responds faster than your group chat • Explains everything like a normal human • Doesn’t panic when you’re buying from another time zone • And actually gets you into the house Call Edgar. Immediately. Edgar, thank you for turning our cross-country leap of faith into a front door we now get to walk through. You’re officially part of our origin story. ✨

Negative experience: Proceed with extreme caution. In my experience, this company was unprofessional and unreliable. Whenever issues came up, they were quick to blame “poor communication” instead of taking accountability or actually fixing the problem. That response became a pattern rather than a solution. The process felt unnecessarily adversarial and more focused on pushing their position than resolving things fairly. I strongly recommend having an attorney review any paperwork before signing to protect yourself. Thankfully, we kept thorough documentation to counter their claims. If you value transparency, accountability, and good business practices, I would suggest looking elsewhere. They attempted to charge us for things they had said we did but yet we had on pre-move in sheet. Then when we asked about it they wanted us to provide the move in sheet to them, they are a joke!

Negative experience: DO NOT, under any circumstances use them! I put down payments on an apt that was infested by roaches and dead mice on the day of my move in. They let me pick another apt, so I agreed. The fridge wasn’t working, took them a week to come out, the place wasn’t cleaned with fly crap and grease all over thee place when I moved in. The fridge has been out for ANOTHER 6 days and not a single call. This is the “buy here, pay here” of ghetto apartments. They sent someone for a “pet inspection “ after approving my pup and charged me $100. They’ll charge you late fees when their website doesn’t work. I REGRET EVER USING THEM.

Negative experience: that would be great. i don't get why i am getting charged over 2000. i am a single mom and you didnt even look at the space properly because my lease was not a three bedroom and it clearly stated so. i had a tremendous amount of work tha had to be done before you guys took over the old leasing company. this is ridiculous you are going to charge get the property right. they were extremely rude

Negative experience: ZERO STARS - Do not rent at The Madrid I'm changing my review because our experience has not been great. On the day of move-in we arrived to an apartment that was COMPLETELY filthy. There were dead roaches everywhere! We had to clean everything before we could move-in. The unit did not smell like smoke when we viewed it but upon move in the entire place reeked of cigarette smoke. We have allergies and have breathing problems since moving in. The plumbing does not work. We have rust, water and debris in our bathtub daily - apparently from roots in the pipes and back up. Water is leaking from the seal in the toilet, total health hazard. We never received a key to the community doors that are shut and locked nighty so we have no way to enter the property. We also never received a pool or mail key. This has been a horrible experience from the start. I don't usually leave reviews for anything but I want to caution anyone that may think The Madrid is a nice spot because of the lush grounds and prime location to rethink and pay the extra $100-$200 a month and find a different location to rent. **See pictures, there is a pile of dirt and dead roaches that we swept up before we even moved in - there was WAY more than in the pic and the other pictures are images behind the murphy bed frame - That's where you are supposed to sleep?!?! TOTALLY DISGUSTING!!!!

Negative experience: Do not rent from this place, they will take your deposit to update there run down apartment here in apache junction. They stole my deposit and charged me another 550 on top to repaint their apartment. I sent images of the state of apartment and rossenbaum sent all same images plus a spot on wall where my couch had been entire time I stayed and stated we have to repaint the whole apartment. Now I am trying to get into a new place and this fraudulent charge is hindering me. So to sum it up do not rent from this fraudulent company and if you do take a full video of property when you move in so you have ample evidence to show when they come to scam you when you move out. It's ashame a multi million dollar company scamming average Americans to save a dollar on fixing the run down properties. Avoid a headache find a trustworthy company to rent through.

Negative experience: Never rent from this company. They will screw you over and charge you for every little thing. your AC breaks in the middle of summer in Arizona and it'll take them a month and a half to fix it. your pool has a giant leak it'll take the 9 months to fix and will be charging you the pool cleaning fee every single month even when the pool cleaning service company stops coming by because of the leak. And say you took stuff off the property that was never there.

Rhonda came to my rental property and there was no pressure to sign up with her company. Very nice and friendly.

He is a master negotiator and was and advocate for me and my mother putting us in the best home for what we needed. I havent seen service like this in many years and if you go somewhere else, thats your fault. As far as the system in place for the application process is very complicated and asks a lot very personal questions both sensitive and offensive. My mother said she felt as if she were applying for a high security job..lol. But, David is great and we couldn’t have been more pleased with his help through out its process. Negative experience: My mother and my daughter lived in one of your so called house apartment and Norris calls my mother yelling at her and saying he will send her to collections! My mother and daughter had no contract anymore and was month to month you people knew they were moving out! And now you are calling my mother theating to send her to collection. Is because you dont want to give her the deposit back? I was there when my mother clean to place.

Negative experience: I submitted the required 30 day move out notice in August, and paid for the full month of September, but let them know that I would be out by the middle of September. Today, Christopher sent me a threatening e-mail stating that I will be held liable for an early termination fee if I do not adjust my move-out date to the end of September (even though I paid for September in full). I only advised them of the early move out for THEIR BENEFIT. I was going to clean the apartment today and be out early, even though I paid through the end of the month. This is standard protocol in every place I have rented. I have spent the past hour trying to e-mail, call, chat on the portal with someone to correct this and can't get through to anyone. Christopher did not even bother to provide a direct phone number to reach him. This is incredibly shady and disappointing. I can no longer recommend them as a trustworthy property management company. They responded to say it was resolved and a communication issue. It was not resolved. I was forced to push out my move out date and deliver the keys during a monsoon because they refused to take them sooner without charging a fee. Thanks a lot, guys.

Negative experience: Turn off auto pay and check your account. My complex recently started using them. My lease (signed before them) is set to end at the end of November. I decided to re sign another year. Upon checking my account they tacked on an additional $24 monthly fee that I never agreed to and was not in my current lease. Considering my options with litigation but they are shady, consider hiring someone to review all agreements with them. Edit: Yeah, so if more than one person is saying the same thing it's a pattern of dishonesty, not tenant error especially when it comes to pre-existing leases that all parties would have a copy of. I have my copy of all signed documents including fees. Nice try though. If YOU cannot provide proof when requested and remove the charge when asked to provide proof you know you got caught.
