Positive experience: Michelle has been super kind and helpful during our touring/ move in. We absolutely love our townhome and can’t wait for the next year. My only critiques would be the lack of streamlining for parts of the move in (trash days weren’t communicated and they couldn’t tell us what mailbox # was ours). We had requested a phone call (a day in advance) to chat about missing info we needed and it ended up being missed due to taking lunch during our scheduled time. All in all, I would recommend Mavi and we appreciate Michelle (and Mike) for the help we have gotten!

Negative experience: Trying to view a rental through this company has been a dead end at every turn. The lockbox code on the property was obscured, making the “self-guided tour” impossible. Reaching out for help only led to endless customer service loops — people either hung up, transferred me, or redirected me to irrelevant sales pitches. The property I attempted to see has been listed for weeks with no real access. From my experience, this company made it extremely difficult (if not impossible) to actually view or rent the home. If you’re looking for a straightforward and responsive property management company, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

Negative experience: Zero stars. They will not show up usually, no electricity in someone's kitchen and living room going on a week now. Long list of things that needed to be fixed and nothings done. Things that were fixed were done very poorly including the overhead light covers. Cracked, uneven, different colors. They will ignore requests or respond slow with no resolution 89 percent of the time

She has kept on top of inspections on my rental and addressing the maintenance issues as they arise. Fantastic experience: I'm delighted to award 5 stars for the friendliness of the staff. However, some areas need improvement to enhance the overall experience. Firstly, communication can be a hurdle; contacting them is often challenging, and responses from some leasing agents are notably slow. Disclosed in the lease, Mavi's $10 monthly charge for using their online portal for rent payments and maintenance requests, while partly charitable, feels unnecessary. Lastly, I'm apprehensive about the apartment's condition at move-in and how it might impact my deposit. However, the staff has later reassured me that the condition at move in was noted and was not deemed as in need of repairs at the time, therefore I should not be concerned with paying for them down the line. Thankfully, their maintenance crew seems to be exceptionally friendly, efficient, and skilled. While I deeply appreciate the staff's amiability, addressing these areas would improve the living experience. Update: move out went smoothly and the Company was fair and reasonable as things came up during my time as a tenant. Would not have any concerns working with them in the future!

Fantastic experience: I switched my properties to Mavi Unlimited in Spring of 2022 and I have been extremely happy with them. Their maintenance department does regular property inspections and provides detailed reports supplemented by photographs. The reports separate preventative maintenance into critical issues and "someday" issues that should be performed the next time the property is vacant. When a resident reports a maintenance issue above the approval limit they contact me immediately with an estimate. Recently I dealt with a situation where somone had dumped a sofa in the alley of the property and I found out because I was contacted by the city. I contacted the Mavimaintenance department and it was taken care of the same day. So far the properties have had very few vacancies -- this is itself an indication of effective property management. When vacancies have come up Mavi has found qualified new residents quickly. I've been very happy with the new residents Mavi has placed in these properties.

Fantastic experience: They are very flexible and always get things fixed in a timely manner once u have submitted a request. Michelle, who is the main person I’ve been speaking with, responds very timely and also is helpful. So far I’ve loved living here.

Negative experience: Mavi managed 9 of my units. Every month noticed accounting errors in their favor. Managing them takes more time and effort than managing the asset itself!

Michelle is my property manager and does a grate job responding to maintenance request and addressing them right away. The app they use for tenant request, paying rent, providing renters insurance etc.. is very user friendly. I usually don’t rent from a place for more then one year because of raised rent prices or staff that doesn’t communicate but I am happy to say I will be staying at least another year if not more in my unit! Very happy with Mavi as a company!
