Fantastic experience: Shannen helped me find my dream home quickly. She knew what I was looking for and made sure to keep me in the loop. If not for her I would have overlooked this house. My 2 boys and I are so happy!

Negative experience: So many great reviews but we did not have a good experience. I feel we didn't get taken seriously. We were listing our home in alabama and needed to find places in Tennessee to look at asap so we could try to do the moves at the same time. She put myself on flexmls but did not really go over and beyond. The one we are at now put my husband and myself on it as well as group chat as well as over and beyond adding the lender and even a rental person in case we needed that. It made a huge difference. The reason I had to find another realtor is because I sent messages/emails and it was over a week and I heard nothing at all back from her. After that week of waiting we had to go with another realtor so we weren't wasting any time on getting things going.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I moved to Knoxville from South Florida and were living with our daughter. With rising prices and on a limited budget, we began our search for our own home nearby. I spoke with numerous realtors and received a few listings but none of them ever followed up after my initial contact, except one. That realtor was April Barbieri from Our Home expo Realty. In a difficult buyers market, she was there for us 7 days a week. Over months, she provided updated listings and was always available for requested showings. Her dedication and professionalism was far beyond any of the realtors that I had previously contacted. She successfully helped us find a home we love at the right price and provided assistance with the closing. Fantastic experience: Our experience is different from most home buyers. We are stationed overseas and nearing retirement. As such, we’ve been researching where we would like to settle permanently and set community roots. Tennessee being a state with all the natural beauty and close to the Great Smoky Mountains as well as close to a major recreational lake. Dandridge being perfect. Jo was recommended to us by close friends who had just gone through a similar scenario, so we came in confident to this remote buying experience. And Jo did not disappoint! Holding our proverbial hands, we met with Jo via multiple zoom calls. With our requirements/preferences in hand, Jo customized her search criteria and provided us several properties. Once we identified the listings we were interested in, she created videos of the prospective properties. She was always very responsive to our emails. Once we made an accepted offer she guided us through the stages of buying property in Dandridge. She answered our questions during this process promptly and fully. She represented our interests professionally and ensured we received what we were paying for. Then things got better… Jo introduced us to local resources so that assisted us with work that was needed/wanted as well as a resource for Property Management to rent our home until we are able to move in. We would highly recommend Jo to anyone interested in buying/selling property in this area. The team Jo has comprised is second to none and we would not hesitate to recommend her services to anyone seeking housing in the Eastern Tennessee region!
