Our comment from Agencias Inmobiliarias about Offerpad Phoenix:
Offerpad Phoenix is a company recognized for its innovative approach to property sales, streamlining the process for homeowners. Many clients have praised their friendly and professional staff, such as agents like Laura Bastien and Mike Burk, who provide exceptional support from start to finish. Positive reviews highlight the ease of communication, transparency in the offer process, and hassle-free transactions. Customers have appreciated the flexibility in closing dates, as well as options like moving assistance and the ability to stay in their homes after closing.
However, there are significant concerns raised by users regarding inconsistency in offers and communication lapses. Some clients reported feeling misled about initial offers, followed by unexpected deductions after inspections. Additionally, negative experiences regarding responsiveness and clarity during the process have been shared, leading to frustration and disappointment for several individuals.
Overall, while Offerpad Phoenix offers a user-friendly service and boasts commendable agents, potential clients should approach with caution, being mindful of the mixed feedback regarding pricing and customer service.
Offerpad Phoenix: Reviews
Fantastic experience: In a tight spot I had to make a choice that I never thought Id make for my family. When I truly say I went through 8 buyers and Offerpad was the best one to work with theres no joke in that. The rep I worked with was Matthew Timothy and honestly I can not say enough about him. His sympathy to my situation and just overall willingness to go the extra mile, keeping me updated at all times and just being a no b.s. genuine person made a huge difference. Thank you Matt and the Offerpad team!
Negative experience: Very disappointed and waste of time. I was looking for a quick and easy sale of a good home, with no issues in Sun City West. I had a realtor in mind, but wanted to explore what I could get with a quick and easy process. I knew it would be a lower than market price offer. I filled out everything online about the house and the email reply gave me an approximate offer price that I was happy with, but said that it could change after the home inspection. I decided to move forward and called to make an appointment for the home inspection. I made it clear that I was flying from IL to AZ just for this and that I only had a short time frame to meet with an inspector. The home is in perfect condition, so I knew that would not be a problem. When it got close to the date, I made multiple attempts to confirm the appointment and finally got someone to confirm. It was almost like I had already gotten lost in the shuffle. The house was closed up for the summer and I spent hours opening it up and making everything look good. I expected a home inspector and instead a realtor showed up. She was friendly and experienced, but I told her that we already had a realtor. She got back to me in a few days as promised and stated that Offerpad was not interested in making an offer on the house because of too much inventory in the area along with high average days on the market. I told her I was not happy with Offerpad because If I already knew about the high inventory and high average days on the market, they most likely knew it also. So, they got me to spend all the time going through the process, fly half way across the country to meet with a "home inspector" and instead they used the situation to send a realtor to hopefully get a listing knowing that they were not going to make a cash offer. BAIT AND SWITCH. NOT HAPPY!
Negative experience: Avoid at all costs. Just another company caring about the bottom line and are either ignorant about the houses they sell or actively turn their eyes to any problems.
Negative experience: This is my first time looking into offer pad for a client and let me tell you it was the biggest waste of time. Don’t waste your time with this company unless you want to get a super lowball offer. They include a ton of fees that don’t even make sense and then on top of it, you can’t get into contact with anyone from the company. Even scheduling a meeting with them no one shows up. You are better off using the investors texting you about looking for an off market property. 10/10 recommend for a horrible experience. Never again…
Negative experience: 2 weeks since they were out to take pictures and still no offer and can't get anybody to return a call or answer the phone !
Negative experience: Dishonest, time wasting, rude. Will send an offer price range and then back out for no given reason other than they changed their mind. We lost earnest money on a new house due to the lies from Offerpad. Reporting to the BBB. DO NOT USE.
Negative experience: You deserve not even an half an star.. Absolutely dishonest company!! And what a joke nothing but click bait… got and initial offer from the range of 506k to 613k and then they came back with a 505k.. it’s a three year old house.. What was supposed to be a smooth and stress-free process quickly turned into a frustrating and disappointing ordeal. From the beginning, their communication was awful. I had to constantly follow up just to get basic updates, and when I did get a response, it was often vague or misleading. They promised a hassle-free experience, but instead, I encountered delay after delay with no clear explanation. The offer they initially presented seemed fair, but as the process went on, it was an utter joke..It felt like a bait-and-switch tactic…Their inspection process was another joke and was based on photos. It was clear they were looking for any reason to devalue my home, even though it was in great condition.I would never recommend Offerpad to anyone looking to sell their home. Their lack of transparency, poor communication, and shady pricing tactics made this an incredible waste of time! If you’re considering using them, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!
Negative experience: Just moved to a home that has a solar lease through Offerpad. Getting the lease transferred over has been a nightmare. Their support agents sound upset that we called them. Run away if you can. I can’t wait to pay this off so I don’t have to deal with them.
Negative experience: Most dishonest people ever! Was told a quote of 431k then after inspection in which the guy who did the inspection said he found nothing, they offered 368k. We said that was way too low (market value is 472k) and they came back with 370 to 375 with manager approval. So we asked for 375k and they came back with 368k!!! Absolutely no integrity and honesty. They lied and reneged at every turn. Don't waste your time!
Negative experience: Just don't. They'll make you a fair cash offer already considering the improvement needs of the property, then send you a new "proposed Purchase Price Adjustment" for significantly less than the initial offer. Don't waste your time.
Negative experience: What an absolute joke. Schedule a offer call for 1:45-2:00pm. I don't receive the call until after 2pm. There was an issue were we couldn't hear each other so Donna overmyer just hung up. No call back. I called 3 times and was sent to voicemail. I call the receptionist to figure out she just moved on to her next client and we were basically out of luck. Next huge issue is the price she gave us. 336k for a house that's low market value is 380k? That 380k comes from the numbers you can see on comps in the surrounding area. Both me and my wife have worked in real estate/property management for over 15 years. One of the most unprofessional companies I have ever dealt with. Wouldn't recommend giving them any of your time.
Fantastic experience: I am extremely satisfied with the service Laura Bastien provided me in the sale of my home at 1215 E Kaler Dr. Her expertise, professionalism, determination, and dedication were so important to this successful sale, and I truly valued everything she brought to the experience. I will call her again for future real estate needs.
Fantastic experience: We are so grateful for our Offerpad Realtor Laura Bastien and her team. Laura helped walk us through the buying process and had our best interest in mind every step of the way. She was communicative, professional, and ensured that all deadlines were met. I will gladly recommend Laura to family and friends that are buying in our area. Buying a home can be a very stressful process but thanks to Laura, we had no worries.
Fantastic experience: OfferPad made my selling process so much easier with their landscape/handyman services and awesome photography team. My realtor Mike Burk was so friendly, knowledgeable and very responsive in all communications, he really made the experience feel hassle-free and I highly recommend working with him and OfferPad!
Fantastic experience: I have worked with Offerpad three times. Two homes were a cash offer and one was a traditional sale. I feel it’s the way to go when selling a home. No hassles and the staff are first rate. Highly recommend using Offerpad
Fantastic experience: It’s our pleasure working with Laura Bastien. Her continuous efforts in communication, going extra steps for us made her to be our preferred realtor. Very recommended person.
Fantastic experience: Laura Bastien was a superb realtor. She answered all calls and handled all communications with sincere honesty. I felt as if she was an old friend helping me sell my house and buy another. I would recommend Laura to any of my friends and family for any future real estate needs. Thank you Laura for making this process as easy as possible and for the excellent communications.
Fantastic experience: Brooke Jordan was amazing. Friendly, courteous and took great care of us with any type of situation. She is a great asset to Offerpad. I would send any one interested in Offerpad directly to JORDAN!
Fantastic experience: Laura Bastien is a fantastic real estate agent. As a home inspector I work with a ton of agents and get to see a little more than most how they work for their clients. From a customer service point of view I don’t know anyone that does more or works harder for the people she represents. I have witnessed her go above and beyond for clients several times. You will be in great hands with Laura if you select her as your agent, one of the hardest working women in real estate.
Thanks SO much for the kind review Kyle. Love hearing that!
Fantastic experience: Mike Burk was our realtor when we sold our house and he went above and beyond with his communication during our home sale. The price we got would not have been possible without his confidence and guidance. I would recommend Mike for anyone looking to sell or buy, he will demonstrate unparalleled honesty and transparency.
Hi, Ulises. Thanks for taking the time to share your positive experience. We truly appreciate it!
Fantastic experience: I recently had a transaction with Offer Pad and it went so smoothly! They were easy to get ahold of and negotiate with. It turned out that the HOA told us that the home needed exterior paint to be transferred into our buyers name (before we could close). I thought this would be a big hurdle but once it was called out it was taken care of quickly. I would work with Offer Pad again.
Fantastic experience: Loved our experience with Steph Ayson and Offerpad!!! She was so understanding, helpful, efficient, and got our home sold FAST! This was the service we needed and helped us get to our dream home. I would highly recommend Steph and her team if you're looking to sell or buy.
Fantastic experience: Steph Ayson was nothing short of phenomenal for my clients on multiple occasions. Two of my clients needed homes to sell quickly in order to move into their new homes and she was exactly what we needed to get the job done. Not only did she help me get my clients' home sold, but she did it faster than anyone else could and at great prices. In the real estate world, sometimes you need things done ASAP and Steph understands the need for urgency better than most. She's my "go to" person for anyone who needs a home to sell, and I anticipate doing more business with her in the future. I HIGHLY recommend her services!
Hi, Stefan. Your feedback is highly appreciated. Thank you for the review!
Fantastic experience: Laura did a great job as our realtor and worked with the seller and a us as the buyer to accomplish the sale. We would highly recommend her due to her professionalism.
Your positive review means a lot to us, Doug. Thanks for your support and congratulations on your new home!
Fantastic experience: Laura has been great helping us through our purchase if a house in Arizona. she was very patient and answered all our questions. we have trusted her every step of the way. thank you Laura!!
Fantastic experience: After speaking with several realtors about the sale of my first home I chose to work with Mike Burk due to his preparedness at our first meeting, his wealth of knowledge regarding my area as well as his positive and ambitious attitude. Mike came to me with a solid plan for marketing my home which he executed exactly as he had presented. He surpassed all my expectations I had when I received several offers on my home by the first day it hit the market. I was under contract by the morning of day #2. From listing to closing, Mike made the process incredibly simple & stress free. If you're reading this review, trying to find the realtor who will give you the time you need, answer your questions thoroughly, guide you through the process easily/ promptly and will get your home sold, do yourself a favor and call Mike right now.
Negative experience: Would give zero stars if I could. Misrepresentation, and ultimately was told a lie that a cash offer was going to be discussed... So, I was Interested in the cash offer types of solutions, reviewed them and decided to take Offerpad for a spin. I spent a good amount of time adding information, uploading photos, coordinating with their reps, and then waiting to have a call with them as they said "I would like to go ahead and get your scheduled with our Solutions Advisor to go over the cash offer." So I change my schedule to have the call, we have the call, and the "solution advisor" said they don't give offers on homes at our high price point...WHAT? Why even take all my information if that's not even an option and I was never qualified... Then when I ask for them to remove all my information, I am told they cannot do that... AND the solution advisor kindly shared that he has been giving that feedback, of not making unqualified "too expensive home" consumers go through that process to them, to his superiors for a while... Clearly they don't care about the consumer, AND they don't care about the feedback of their employees (employees who are talking to consumers). I would avoid a company like this like my life depended on it.
Negative experience: Purchased a house 3 weeks ago and the brand new AC unit that Offerpad said put in was so badly damaged due to poor installation that it does not work at all. So I have to pay to have an entire brand new unit installed because of either Offerpad's dishonesty with the repair or poor choice of contractors. I would not have purchased this house I will be obtaining legal counsel. 0 Stars!!! Do not purchase a home through Offerpad
Fantastic experience: Sold to Offerpad twice! Once in 2017 on a cute brick home in Downtown Chandler and another in San Tan Valley Oct. 2022! Both extremely positive experiences! I am very realistic about my price point and I am very patient. With that in mind, Offerpad does it again! Go Offerpad
Negative experience: Jennifer Honeycutt and offer pads are scammers and they discriminate against home buyers in South Phoenix and Sun City area. They waiting until my husband had a month before leaving to do the ole bait and switch with our deal. Offer Pad say they are a trust worthy company but as we can see that BS. Jennifer Honeycutt and offer pad new that my husband and myself were moving out of the country duty to our jobs. Jennifer Honeycutt and offer pad waited until we both was out of the country to tell our realtor they pulled their offer. If you are military active duty or retired in the South Phoenix area do not do business with these scammers. Jennifer Honeycutt you should be a shame of yourself scamming hard working Americans at the last minute to think they will sell you their house below value.
Negative experience: If you want to get ripped off, work with Offerpad. Credit addenda was presented on closing day to my client outside their contract addenda inspection time of 10 days. (Offerpad's own addenda states that 10 days from the inspection they must notify Seller of ANY credit requested). Unfortunately, my client had already moved out, signed a lease and didn't have the luxury of "walking away from the deal". The credit addenda was $5,395... Thankfully my commission was $5,395. Despite Offerpad's error, I rebated 100% of my commission as it's the right thing to do for my client (who is also a Disabled Veteran). For nearly a year I've tried to get Offerpad to acknowledge their default of contract and not once has anyone taken responsibility. Offerpad severely lacks a moral compass and/or to do what is right. I recommend always having some sort of independent representation (Realtor/Broker or Attorney) when working with them.... I doubt our situation has been the only time this has happened to potential Sellers and I'm exploring class action legal enforcement. USE CAUTION.
Fantastic experience: Great experience selling my home with Offerpad. Everyone I worked with was friendly and professional. Thanks again Laura! Would recommend this company.
Negative experience: DO NOT USE! these people had me on the line for over 2 weeks thinking I had a contract. Then they came back with nearly $40K in repairs that I was supposed to complete and provide proof of doing so prior to closing. The list was so VAGUE, even if I wanted to proceed, there would be no way to prove that I had complied. Not to mention that my house is Totally Updated. They asked for "Carpet and Pad throughout" in a house that was completely tiled within the last 5 years with very popular, good quality tile. Apparently someone decided due to the increased interest rates, they did not want to proceed with the contract. It OBVIOUSLY had nothing to do with my house. Fraudulent Practices to say the least!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM OFFERPAD
Fantastic experience: I was pretty skeptical about the while process initially. I felt like there was going to be a catch. But Offerpad helped guide us through all our options and let us choose the best option for us. Nicholas Flowers was especially amazing and helped alleviate all my concerns. Whenever I had a question, he was very quick to respond. Would recommend Offerpad to anyone.
Negative experience: If I could give this company no stars to write a review I would. But this is by far the worst company to sell your home with. I was forced to sell with this company due to it was a legal issue with my ex who didn’t live or pay for the house for the last two years but never paided a dime on the house for the last four years in the house. They refused to communicate with the lawyers on things. The mortgage department people we're rude, was never reached out or talked to for the inspection til three weeks before closing, the inspectors where great to work with, again on mortgage part of the company very unprofessional groups of people. Charged $30k on repairs I could have done myself for way cheaper. But I was never given enough time cause they sent her a copy of the credit form to her not me. After all forms where signed they called me a day before closing that I had a full 24 hours to move out everything all trash out of the house before the next day at 12pm before we could close. I advised them that I am stuck at work and unable to do that, but I was able to get the time off work to be able to make it happen. I spent 24 hours all night moving and throwing away all trash in the house. Just for the inspector showed up and told me he was sorry but that’s not how offerpad does things and that the office people in the mortgage department shouldn’t of done that. Let alone they also charge you a 5% commission fee just to buy your house from you. So, this company is by far the worst company to ever work with and don’t sell your house with them at all.
Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. The first representative helped me list the property, then he either left the company or was fired and I went two weeks without an update. the second rep, pressured me to take the cash offer, which I did. the home inspector was rude, left a sink running, and turned the AC off at the breaker and did not turn it back on. Then they backed out of the deal on the last possible day. There are plenty of companies to use these days so pick someone else, or sell in the traditional way. Your "Success Manager" Nickolas Flowes has all my conact info. I doubt you will do anything to make this right though.
Negative experience: Undoubtedly, offerpad is using fake advertising. They keep saying theyd offer me a number. The agent that called (twice)...and i had to call him to remind him. Now all of sudden they are not buying condos.
Negative experience: STAY AWAY. OfferCrap made an offer on our home (after doing their homework) then come back 5 hours later and pull the offer. The CEO will not respond because he needs his Chief of Staff to step in. This company does not care about misleading people as long as they get their $$$. Just another company claiming they "work in good faith" but don't honor their own numbers. Don't sell to them, don't use them to sell your home!! P.S. If you have integrity, don't work for them either.
Negative experience: Update: more issues and carelessness discovered now that we’ve been In the property almost a month. I’m also about to file my second home warranty claim because of offerpad’s “work”. Also, they still have not reached out OfferPad doesn’t seem to do the right thing. Lots of short cuts and not thinking things through logically. Why would you cut carpet like this. These are photos after moving a dresser that “came with the property”. It should have been complete and finished. The laundry room was left with plywood floors, they didn’t even finish it. Buyer beware, they take shortcuts Edit to add, @Offerpad there is no way to message you on here. I’m happy to provide address and additional photos of other issues. Please send contact info ANOTHER EDIT: my wall just FELL off in my restroom. OfferPad ignores issues and literally paints right over them. Second big storm and this happens
Negative experience: I will never recommend OfferPad to any of my friends or family members. After a lengthy process of trying to sell my home to them I finally received the exciting “7 Days Until Closing” email.. I had already signed multiple closing contracts and the paperwork with the title company.. most of my possessions were sold and I was patiently waiting to close. 48 hours before the official closing date OfferPad backed out without any explanation. I logged into the portal to view the addendum and all of my paperwork was gone! Seller beware when it comes to OfferPad closing practices.
Negative experience: The process seemed to be going smoothly. Everyone communicated and was very nice, until they weren't. I got an email on a Sunday morning that the agreement was canceled. No explanation and no response as to why or what happened. Canceling the agreement was fine but at least give us some explanation.
Hi Chad,
We’d like to look into this for you. Can you please DM us your name and address?
Negative experience: Another bait and switch company to get a contract at any price. Obviously planning on putting the seller in a position due to timing on the seller's planned purchase of another home having to accept a heavily discounted revised offer, even before property inspections. Use a Realtor who has a fiduciary relationship with you. If this company is seriously interested in the details of this transaction, they have my contact information to get in touch with me for the details
Fantastic experience: A great way to sell your property. Mike helped us sell our house over asking price! Would recommend.
Negative experience: DO NOT use this company if you are selling. They will screw you over so bad. They make a great offer on your house only to make excuses to back out of the deal when it is time to close. They delayed in our inspection as much as they could, until we constantly called and told them they need to do it. Everyone in that company is worthless and a bunch of liars. Do not go with them. Use Opendoor.
Negative experience: Offerpad decreased their offer by almost 35000 (almost 8 percent of the sale price) after their 10 day inspection period. 25000 for needed repairs that were "discovered" during the inspection. The bulk of these needed repairs were disclosed during the video walk through. During the contract presentation I asked if the sell price took into account these repair costs and was assured that it did. When I asked about these now needed repair costs I was told that that there was a miscommunication between myself and the presenter and the sell price did not take them into account. In my point of view the miscommunication was internal at Offerpad but they tried to pass part of the blame to me. The other 10000 in the price reduction was for their "due dilligence" in pricing the market. Which apparently they didn't do when they made the offer (even thought they said they did). I turned down other chances to sell my house due to good faith and honoring the contract I agreed to, only to have an additional 8% reduction requested (on top of the original 5% admin fees) 10 days before close. The appearance as I see it is the market is shifting and they are not sure what to do so they are asking for more concessions to protect themselves. I was told I should do a traditional listing with their agents as a solution to selling my house. That won't happen. This has cost me time, money and a lot of energy for a deal that was supposed to be convenient.
Negative experience: I’d never recommend selling your home to this company. I was selling my home to them and from Day 1 of going under contract I disclosed all pertinent financial details of the home’s HOA fees. 6 days away from closing(we were under contract for almost 45 days at this point) and they backed out of the deal today after receiving official HOA documents. I could not express more of a disdain and displeasure of working with this company. I had already signed a purchase agreement for another home with the funds I was planning to receive from this sale. Don’t make the mistake I did.
Fantastic experience: Michael Burk assisted my husband and I in selling our home in Queen Creek and did a fantastic job!! He was always on time to in person or telephone appts. He gave sound reasonable advice, but more importantly he was conscientious of our time. While selling our home I was 9 months pregnant and delivered our daughter. Our time was invaluable for us, and Michael knew how to complete tasks efficiently and effectively while maximizing our sales price and being fair to our buyers. We would definitely use his services again in the future.
Negative experience: Heads up everyone. .60 cents per pound on reimbursement. $250 is all my buyer got for this fridge falling off the truck. Imagine if it was an expensive painting? Or worse a car crash where a buyer loses all of their possessions and is reimbursed $.60 on the pound? I would love to delete this review or modify it to five stars. Just hoping for some sort of support for my client who cannot afford a new fridge. My buyer agreed to sell the home to offerpad .80 cents on the dollar for the experience.
Fantastic experience: I have been working with Nicholas Flowers and he has been absolutely exceptional. Any time I have a question Nicholas is extremely responsive and willing to go over any info to make sure I understand. Outstanding customer service, don't stop what you are doing!
Negative experience: The absolute WORST BUYING EXPERIENCE I have ever dealt with. If I could rank them zero stars, I would gladly do that. First, we couldn’t view the house because the agent lost the keys, then after a ton of back and forth for days we saw the house and there was a lot of things wrong but since it’s a seller market, we decided it was still worth it. After we finally got our bid accepted, OfferPad literally disappeared…. They were never to be heard from again until the day before we closed. We didn’t get any of our questions answered and they hired the absolute worst contractors to fix up the house, we are finding things that have been “fixed up” in the absolute worst way….anyways I wish we never gave OfferPad our business, this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with purchasing a house. Don’t tell me I didn’t warn you…..
Negative experience: I would suggest staying away from OfferPad if your home is listed by them. We had the worst experience as no one gave any information and it took three weeks for 4 people to call and email to get any answers after our home inspection. We, the buyers had to call, email, smoke signal to get someone on the phone. No one from OfferPad responded to any of our inquiries. I feel they threw a sign in the yard and that was it.
Fantastic experience: Just completed a transaction as the buyers agent with Laura Bastien and Offer Pad. I can't say enough about how great she was to work with and how helpful she was to the process ! In today's market where sellers agents are often barely communicating with buyers agents Laura went above and beyond ! She helped my clients get into a great house and was a pleasure to work with all the way through the process ! Thanks a million !
Fantastic experience: I'm writing a review for my realtor Chad Clement who works for Offerpad. If you are looking to sell your home you have to check out offerpad. They have so many good incentives. Chad helped me find the perfect home and quickly too. He has a lifetime amount of experience in realty and knows what he's taking about. I learned alot from him. He is a very dedicated realtor to his clients. Thank you so much offer pad team!!
Negative experience: I would not recommend buying an Offerpad home. My recommendation is to buy from a reputable Realtor if you want communication and consideration. This was the worst Seller that could have easily made it the best experience had the even attempted to be a considerate Seller. They lack respect and only the desperate should do business with them.
Fantastic experience: I’ve closed two deals for two separate buyers with Offerpad over the last 30 days. Honestly, I was nervous to work with them, being I hadn’t heard the best things about working with companies like this. Turns out I had nothing to worry about! I saw Offerpad work above and beyond. Jenn Marble was an absolute rockstar in both transactions. She brought straight magic to those deals. Quick to reply and connected me with who I needed to be connected with. Thank you Jenn. It was an absolute honor to work side by side with you. Thank you Offerpad. Cheers to you and your team. I truly hope to work with you again soon.
Fantastic experience: Smoothest most enjoyable selling of a home we have ever experienced. Our rep. Nicholas Flowers was so responsive and kind and kept us updated throughout the entire process. We have told all our neighbors and friends what an enjoyable experience this was and recommended Offerpad when the need arises for them to sell their homes. In this day and age where customer service is not great, My offerpad rep Nicholas Flowers was perfect!
Negative experience: I’m really confused on how people use this company. I understand that they give low ball offers because they need to make a profit but it’s crazy to me that the offer I received from Opendoor was over $34k higher than the offer from Offerpad. Funny thing is my home was recently remodeled; new tile wood looking flooring, new paint, new kitchen backsplash, new quartz countertops, black quartz under mounted sink, and chefs faucet among other things. Interesting to say the least.
Negative experience: We are in middle of buying home (2903 E Tulsa St Chandler AZ 85225) from offerpad, they have been very very slow in responses right from beginning of offer acceptance, inspections repairs and now as appraisal value came in lower than sale price however we already have contractual agreement signed by seller that buyer should pay 5000$ over appraised value. My buyer agent has submitted addendum on 8 Dec EOD but so far no response and again showing how slowly offerpad is moving on this sale. We as family of two kids want to celebrate xmax in new home and with this speed from offerpad we are not hopeful. I hope they acknowledge the contract and move forward faster..
Fantastic experience: When we were thinking about selling our townhouse, we talked to 5 or 6 different direct buyer companies/ibuyers. Offerpad was by far the most clear and transparent at every step along the way. Plus they had great benefits (free local move, flexible closing date, stay in the house 3 days after closing). We were skeptical of the whole process, but Nicholas Flowers handled everything with clarity and professionalism. Selling our house to Offerpad was a great decision for us because it allowed us to buy our next house without having to make a contingent offer. At every point where we were nervous, Nick was able to answer our questions and set our mind at ease. Great job everyone!
Fantastic experience: OfferPad was great to work with throughout the process. Our sale was delayed 3 times d/t construction hold up, and they were happy to work with us and walk us through the process. Would suggest to anyone looking to sell their house!
Negative experience: I received a cash offer for my Tucson, AZ home from Offerpad, in Sept 2021. I was told that they would inspect my home for "repairs", not improvements or upgrades Their inspection report demands came back with over 60% improvement, 20% legitimate repairs and 20% were "made-up" repairs to pad their total repair budget. I asked for an itemized list of items with their costs, but they refused to provide the list, just a total dollar amount. I would caution home sellers NOT to use Offerpad to sell their house. They try to lure sellers into using their service, promising high cash offers and convenience, but deliver high fees and repair costs to sellers. Don't waste your time with this company.
Fantastic experience: OfferPad and Nicholas were a life saver for us!! We needed to sell our home fast but be flexible with closing and moving out due to the nature of the home we were purchasing. Dealing with OfferPad was very easy and they made us a very fair offer on our home and came in higher than Zillow or NextDoor’s offers. We were able to push the closing date when needed with no issues and Nicholas Flowers answered any questions and handled everything like a pro and on a very quick and timely manner. The whole process from beginning to end with OfferPad was just smooth and easy! We just finished the walkthrough and closing yesterday and the funds were released into our account from the Title Company the same day of the walkthrough. We Would definitely recommend OfferPad!!
Negative experience: Never buy a home from OfferPad. They are rude, unreasonable, and completely unnegotiable. I had a terrible experience trying to buy a home from them.
Hi Sean, We appreciate your feedback. We're working daily to improve processes and help everyone have great experiences with Offerpad. If there is anything we can do at this point to resolve your concerns, please reach us at [email protected].
Fantastic experience: The best property transaction EVER. This team far exceeds expectations, delivering high quality customer service and excellent offer. I highly recommend them and I am so grateful for their help with my property.
Fantastic experience: Tammie Fischer was very helpful and knowledgeable. Answered any questions I had and made the whole process very easy for me. I would recommend Tammie to others looking to sell or buy. Really appreciated her. Joyce Hoyt
Fantastic experience: Our agent, Tammie was superb! She is so knowledgeable, kept us constantly informed, and was a complete professional. Tammie had our backs start to finish. Thank you Offerpad for hiring the best of the best.
Fantastic experience: Nicholas Flowers was truly a big help for me. First time seller experience was very intimidating but he was very helpful and answered all my stupid questions. And the whole offer pad team made everything very simple for me I greatly appreciate all the help from everyone.
Fantastic experience: I just sold a home using offerpad using the flex plan. Mike Burk was my agent and he was extremely professional and made the selling experience smooth and easy. I sold at a price that I was extremely happy with. I would definitely recommend Mike Burk and offerpad to anyone.
Hi Rudy! We're happy our team was able to help with the sale of your home!
Fantastic experience: Offerpad has been an unbelievable surprise when selling our home. Their online process was so easy including the virtual tour and the offer process. Our transaction manager Nicholas Flowers has been very responsive and accommodating as we were able to choose our closing date and stay in the home a few days after closing at no cost which is making this transition process very easy. This wouldn't be nearly as easy selling to a private buyer. This experience has been a welcomed change to the traditional way of selling a home. I highly recommend you consider selling to Offerpad when selling your home and hopefully your experience will be as positive as ours with Nicholas Flowers as your transaction manager!
Negative experience: Offerpad accept our offer on a home. Once we did inspections and asked them to either repair some of the items (not all) or give us a credit they offered $3k only! The repairs totaled over $14k we would at least take 7-10k but to offer us $3k and no repairs was ridiculous. I wouldn't buy from offerpad was not a good experience they didn't care or try to help. I hope the next buyer will be made aware of all the repairs that need to be done!
Hi Nicole, we would like to look into this. Please email us at [email protected] with your details
Fantastic experience: I was purchasing property that I believed was owned by OfferPad since ot was written in the appraisal. I originally wrote a bad review because of a horrible experience I just had. The reps from OfferPad immediately reached out to me and provided me with accurate information on who owns the property. I appreciate their prompt response.
Fantastic experience: Tyler was awesome! Knew what he was doing; git me way more than what expected to sell my home for. Always responsive. He made it look so easy!!
Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Offerpad from start to finish!! I would absolutely use them again to buy or sell my home.
Hi Jason! Thank you for the positive review! We appreciate the opportunity to make your experience the best!
Fantastic experience: Tyler has been an asset in our home buying process from start to finish. He has asked questions to determine what we are looking for in our new home, and we are very happy with his responsiveness and his attention to details. We would highly recommend Tyler to anyone is search of buying their own home during this demanding sellers market. Thanks so much Tyler!
Fantastic experience: Great experience with Mike Burk and Offerpad! They have options to fit your needs. Mike was honest, informative, knowledgeable and friendly! I highly recommend using Mike Burk and Offerpad for your next move!
Hi Christine! Thank you for the positive feedback! We appreciate the opportunity to make your experience the best!
Fantastic experience: Working with OfferPad was great. The offer we got was in line with the numbers we were given by traditional agents, and the process was very smooth. Contrary to some other reviews, OfferPad did not hit us with extra fees after we went under contract, and the repairs they requested were minimal. We worked with Mike Burke from OfferPad to purchase our new home and were amazed at how hard he worked to make sure we had the information we needed when we submitted an offer (we submitted 4, which in this market is kind of amazing), and ended up with our dream home. I would recommend OfferPad to anyone looking to sell, the process is smooth, the closing is flexible and the people are great!!!
Fantastic experience: Our Realtor Alym Dhalla was amazing! From start to finish he made purchasing our home the least stressful thing ever. He was prompt returning calls, or text messages. He worked hard to help us find the home that fit our needs perfectly! He answered all our questions or directed us in the appropriate place to have our questions answered. I will definitely be referring friends and family!!
Fantastic experience: We had a great experience selling our property to Offerpad. Michael Burk was our first point of contact. He patiently answered all our questions and explained how the process works. Monique Burwell was the Transaction Manager. She did a great job keeping us up to date throughout the escrow period and was professional and knowledgeable. Christine Yost efficiently and courteously handled everything on the ground. And Christy Keledjian was our Escrow Officer at First American. We held title to our property in a family trust, which complicates things significantly. I was expecting some issues. But miraculously, there were none. This is the first real estate transaction we've had related to our trust that went through smoothly without requiring multiple signing do-overs and the postponement of closing dates. Kudos to Offerpad and First American Title!
Fantastic experience: Everything was super easy and fast. They were very lenient with my close date. I had a loss in my family and they had no problem with extending my close date. They even let me stay after close, even though they had already paid me for my house.
Fantastic experience: The offer was straight forward. Zero pressure and when the process was explained to me the information was accurate and the process was a smooth and hassle free transaction. I will likely use them again in the future if the need should arise.
Fantastic experience: I just had an awesome experience with Offerpad and agent Mike Burk. The moment I met Mike I knew we were a good fit for selling our home. I had loss my husband recently and Mike came in with a smile and was very uplifting for me. Mike worked very hard on this deal. The house sold in 19 days with the price we wanted. I would definitely recommend Offerpad from my experience. The closing staff has been very professional and fast. THANK YOU OFFERPAD!
Negative experience: I just closed on a house through Offerpad and as soon as the smell of their air fresheners faded the tale tell signs of cigarette smoke started to linger. Upon further inspection I found yellow stains of the few surfaces not painted over. Do not buy from Offerpad. Their disclosure said nothing about past smoking in the home.
Fantastic experience: Quick and easy!! Yamel was the greatest in gettin my home sold. We wanted to sell and get back to Ohio before Christmas, and we did! She made it easy by answering any questions, and always available. She truly was a joy to work with. If I ever move back to the state of Arizona, I'll be sure to call her first!
Hi Denise! Thank you for the positive feedback! Our team is happy to have met and exceeded your expectations! We appreciate the opportunity to make your experience the best.
Fantastic experience: Yamel Salazar helped us realize how much our house was worth and set up (seamless) renovations. The sale could not have been smoother. Highly recommend Offerpad and Yamel if you are looking to sell your house!
Hi Carrie ! Thank you for the positive feedback! Our team is happy to have met and exceeded your expectations! We appreciate the opportunity to make your experience the best.
Fantastic experience: From our experience, selling to Offerpad was a stress-free process and they even waived the repair credit, we were able to get a pretty good deal on our condo. Then having a realtor from Offerpad helped us find a new home, it was a win-win situation for us. Shout out to Tyler Davis, he was a big help! Highly recommended as a realtor!
Fantastic experience: We highly recommend using Offerpad! Exceptional service. Contacted us often to see if we had questions or concerns. Being able to stay in our home until our new build was ready was priceless! Thank you for a flawless transaction! J & T in Arizona!
Fantastic experience: JUST WOW. I'm so happy with Offerpad. We decided to sell our house Nov 1, 2020, and escrow closed Dec 21, 2020. When I called Offerpad we thought we would get a ball park figure for the house and go from there. They couldn't offer us anything. We lived in Tonopah, AZ; about an hour away from Phoenix. But, they sent us Martha Fornes. She is a wonderful person, as well as an excellent realtor. She took care of everything and followed up on anything. From help with cleaning to where to find required documents. The Offerpad teams work well together, beginning to end. And, our proceeds were $13,000 higher than originally quoted. Very happy. Thanks Offerpad for all your work.
Fantastic experience: Offerpad bought our home and we moved through that process rather quickly and seamlessly. Their staff was always friendly and professional. They even provided us with a moving service at no cost. We had an issue, during the move, when the movers broke an antique piece of furniture. Kathy, our Customer Experience Representative, stepped up and helped us through the claim process. She was responsive, listened to us, checked back on our progress and stayed in touch to the end. She help make this an outstanding experience for me and my family.
Fantastic experience: I am so grateful I sold + bought with Offerpad. I literally got to circumvent most of the stressors around home buying + selling by using a cash-offer. Selling to Offerpad was exactly like the open market. I was super happy with my offer amount. After inspection, they didn't try to underball me, like other cash-offer-companies are known to do. It was all super straight forward. I used an Offerpad agent to buy my next home too, Will Boehler. It was amazing how strong of a buyer it made me by having a cash-offer on my existing home! I was offering "contingent" offers, but not really because I was contingent with a cash-offer. I landed a dream home and I'm not sure I could've gotten this property without a cash-offer. I'm so grateful. Truly my only regret is I was so skeptical because I couldn't believe it could all really be this easy and straightforward. It really was this easy and straightforward.
Hi Morgan! Thanks so much for the great review. Our team is happy to have delivered great service on the sale of your home and help you find your new home!
Negative experience: Low ball offers you'll probably accept because you're in a hurry to sell. Than ridiculous requests before closing to lower their offer even more.
Hello Manatees Moo. Thank you for the feedback, but we respectfully disagree. We provide homeowners an option to sell their home without the inconvenience of open houses, contracts falling through and the offers we provide are honest taking into account recent transactions, property details, and neighborhood-level transactions -- if we missed something, sellers could let us know so we can address it. People value convenience, and we provide an end-to-end selling and moving method of selling their house. We disclose fully all fees and buyer-credits before signing and our friendly customer support team is there to address questions about any aspect of the process.
Negative experience: Our closing process was absolutely ridiculous. We had to cancel a lot of appointments and then reschedule them all over again. Huge inconvenience. Personally I do not recommend buying from them unless they get a better process all together. The only positive I have is Cathy was a BIG help and managed to do more in a couple days then the whole closing team could in 3 weeks. If my opinion just let her run the company and call it done!
Fantastic experience: I sold my house to Offerpad, it was a very smooth and easy process. The people I worked with were very helpful. I got a fair price for my house. I would highly recommend Offerpad to anyone wanting to sell their home. I had a great experience!!!
Negative experience: I waited 3 days and never heard back from Offerpad. When I queried Michelle Mandia, her reply was, "Hi Angela, The team is not able to put an offer in on your property."
Hello Angela, I'm sorry to hear your experience with Offerpad was less than exemplary. We have sent your feedback to our team and we will have a supervisor reach out to you regarding your experience. Thank you -The Offerpad Team
Fantastic experience: I sold my house quickly with no surprises. The repairs on the addendum I knew were needed going in. I have recommended them since and would do business with them again.
Hi Nathan! Thanks for the great review! The team here at Offerpad is thrilled that we did our part in helping you move stress-free into your new home. You made our day!
Negative experience: In February I began to get offers from four of the online " buy your home " websites to sell our rental condo in Mesa. Offerpad gave my wife and I the highest bid so we contracted with them. I would say the process was going along as planned. We had an agreed upon closing date of April 22, 2020. Today, March 25, 2020 I had a phone call from Offerpad saying they were not any longer going to follow through with the purchase even though a satisfactory inspection had been done weeks ago. They didn't keep their end of the contract. VERY UNHAPPY. I hope you all read this and toss your coin.
Fantastic experience: I had an amazingly positive experience with selling my home to OfferPad !! Their "chose your own close date" is a HUGE help, as well as their extended stay period allowing time to move out and into next home after closing !! My main point of contact throughout the whole process was a super friendly and professional fellow by the name of Sam, and he is a great communicator and was always super responsive in answering all my questions and helping to get everything to flow smoothly throughout the entire real estate transaction !!! We even had some "hiccups" along the way involving the HOA but Sam and his team at Offerpad worked along with me to help us all arrive at amicable win win win solutions and keep the deal moving smoothly to closing date !!!! I highly recommend Offerpad service to anyone looking to bypass all the time and work and challenges of a more traditional time consuming listing process, no need for showings or waiting around for who knows how long for "the right buyer" to come along !! Offerpad offers a very streamlined, super easy, and well done professional service and they were straight forward in all their interactions with me !!!! Thanks so much Sam and everybody else at Offerpad !!!
Fantastic experience: The process was quick and easy from start to finish. There were no surprises and everything went as advertised. We thought the offer was fair for the added convenience and expediency. No complaints!
Hi Christina! Thanks for the great review! The team here at Offerpad is thrilled that we did our part in helping you move stress-free into your new home. You made our day!
Negative experience: This has been the worst experience of my life. My mortgage provider dropped the ball big time Veterans stay away from them !!!! Their commercials are lies I have bought other houses and it was so much easier to buy and sell. There are so many hidden fees they change the price constantly try and tell you that it was the market value but then get caught in a lie and try to find a way out of it. Their mortgage Team knew AAA the closing dates for the house arranged for moving company took time off work and they failed because they did not get a VA appraisal knowing that it takes 7 to 10 days to get one. Veterans beware do not use this service!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Offerpad. I didn't have to show my house which was wonderful. The whole process was easy. They made the moving process less stressful.
Positive experience: The experience with Offerpad and their team was great. Would have given them 5 stars but we did have 1 issue arise regarding closing cost. Would definitely use them again.
