Positive experience: It's been a long 5 yrs at this property for the most part everyone did what was expected to provide a good rental experience. The maintenance requests got answered right away and provided for the most part decent vendor experience. But meeting the team / Pure in person just one time would have been a 5 star review. That being said 4 out of 5 ain't bad! Thanks for the rental service. Also thanks to Ixchel Lopez for getting maintenance requests for this property filled in a timely manner she is a 5 star provider.

Fantastic experience: Alicia at Pure Property Management is amazing and the reason why I have nothing but great things to say about the company. Her and her team have been looking over my multi-unit building for years. Overseeing multi-unit buildings are challenging and I am very fortunate that she specializes in them. I do not ask but she will keep me updated on issues after hours and even on her days off. Her commitment shows how decided she is as property manager and to her clients. I could not be more thankful for having her as my property manager.

Negative experience: Pure Property Management is a nightmare to deal with. They insist you use all of their portals for any service requests, leases, communications, etc., and you can't deal with a person directly. You have to enter service requests into their portal, and then wait and hope they are taken care of in a timely fashion. You can't do a month to month lease after your lease ends without signing a lease to do month to month. They say one thing in communications and don't reflect the agreed upon changes in lease documents---read them thoroughly. They charge a monthly "rent" for pets which is ridiculous considering you are responsible for any damage or wear and tear from your pet regardless---so what does the money go to? (Just a way to make more money). You get buried in paperwork and having to manage pet profiles in another pet screening website. As a homeowner of two homes myself, I never make my tenants go through such hoops during the renting process. We will be buying a home soon in Scottsdale and never will I use a burdensome property management company such as this. I don't recommend their services from a tenant perspective. I can't imagine the experience is any better from a homeowner perspective.

Fantastic experience: Terry Mendoza was such a huge help in getting us our house. Couldn't of done it without her. She was professional, helpful and very kind. She answered any and all of our questions that we had. So thankful for her help. She really took the anxiety out of finding a home. Thank you Terry!

Fantastic experience: Every part of the touring and application process was extremely fast. The home I toured, I was not only able to autonomously manage digitally, but reschedule, and book twice in the same day. (I went back to the same home twice to make sure.) The home was extremely clean and well-maintained. Unfortunately, I was late to the party on getting the app submitted, but Elena was very accommodating in trying to repurpose the app for other homes. Since we couldn't find one that matched the location I was seeking, she promptly issued me a refund for my unique case. While the technical process (digitally) can be redundant, I felt good about real agents following up with me along the way. I'd be happy to utilize PURE again in the future.

Negative experience: Horrible Renter Experience - they have a portal you have to email through, you can't call anyone, no phone numbers, emails in their portal bounce back. Terrible customer service. Update. They are still terrible. They are terrible when you move out. Anna and the rest of the staff are not responsive, they have charged fees for no reason. Very un responsive and a terrible company to rent from.

Negative experience: Will accept showings but not allow you access. I got multiple messages that I was approved to do a showing but I have been trying to see a place for 20 minutes and the lockbox keeps telling me I’m unauthorized. I called and they are either closed or not interested in answering their phones. The auto message is for current renters, not prospective renters. Not happy with their company AT ALL

Negative experience: they got agreement to lower my rent after living here for 2+ years. they didn't care to share details that the lower rent is made up by them randomly increasing fees without a notice, without a reason. Causing the rent to not even go down - which would have caused me to not resign my lease. I only resigned thinking it would be more affordable, which it ends up not being at all. very sneaky things they add into the lease but fail to mention or clearly give answers when I ask. (i understand it's my responsibility to read clearly, but if they say yes rent is lowering, they should mention it will be substituted with an additional, random fee) on top of this - it's been 3 weeks, with 100 degrees and my AC has been broken. they have not done anything for the first 2 weeks to send someone over -they seem to operate doing a lot of shady, illegal things.

Fantastic experience: I have been working with Alicia as a vendor for years! We partner in getting homes back on the market quickly after a tenant moves out. She is efficient, organized, preemptive, and has a great attitude. We have learned to work together to charge tenants fairly, get the job done to a photo ready condition. Her expectations are clear and we have a great system dialed in. I would recommend anyone seeking property management services to reach out to Alicia as your investment could not be in better hands.

Fantastic experience: I own a rental in Surprise AZ and transitioned to PURE PM in June 2023. PURE just bought the previous PM that managed my property. I have worked with Alicia (my PM) and Jason (the manager) and they are excellent. Alicia responded quickly to tenant issues and was very good in suggesting the most cost effective solution to address a leak I have. I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Alicia has been awesome! I manage an HOA that she oversees 4 of the individual units. Anytime an issue would arise related to any of the units (which have been rare), Alicia had it handled immediately. Her communication is exceptional, which allows me to focus on the entire community without having to constantly follow up.

Fantastic experience: Julia is incredibly helpful and proactive in addressing maintenance requests. We are very appreciative of her and how easy she makes our lives as renters! We recently had our AC go out at 4pm in the middle of summer and she had someone out within 2 hours.

Fantastic experience: Julia and Todd have both been very helpful with assisting on maintenance requests as well as overall general questions. I am grateful that both of them are easily reachable via email when needed.

Negative experience: Pure Property/Jennifer L are terrible with respect management of Tenant deposits. The owner did not install kitchen and bathroom door handles which makes absolutely no sense. This resulted in damage to the cabinet doors. Jennifer charged us the tenants for damages even though these damages happened before we had moved it. Not sure how we are supposed to open the kitchen/bathroom cabinetry without touching the doors when there are no door handles. Many email messages to this effect have been ignored. This is unprofessional.

Negative experience: Started with them when they were Bennett Property Management in 2020. They were really good then. Had no issues. Once they got bought out and became "Pure Property Management," it went downhill. It became next to impossible to reach a live person when we had an issue. In the 5 years I rented with them, I easily has 4-6 different property managers. i just moved out because I purchased my own home. They are of course trying me for carpet cleaning even though I sent in proof of having it professionally cleaned, and the proof was confirmed to have been received! I do not recommend renting from them unless you feel like chasing them and going back and forth about their mistake.

Fantastic experience: I’m reporting on my experience with John. He’s the only one I’ve been able to talk to so far. He listened very carefully and let me finish explaining. He was very polite. He made me feel assured that he was going to help me and have somebody call me so I can ask questions about a property that I’m interested in. He is a good employee.

Fantastic experience: We were having a difficult time signing our lease electronically. For example, we'd click on a section but nothing happened. Since it was 27 pages long +- and very time consuming/frustrating. Thank goodness Elena helped us get through the process with GREAT patience. She guided us through what we needed to do on the phone with a terrific attitude. So a big Thank You to Elena!

Negative experience: Pure Property Mgmt. of AZ bought Bennett Property Mgmt. of AZ a couple years ago. Bennett was a well-run, experienced family business and they did a good job. Pure Property Mgmt. on the other hand is a DISASTER! Young, inexperienced people who call themselves property managers. Please save yourself pain and aggravation not to mention financial problems. Find another property mgmt. company!!! P.S. Many (all?) of the 5-star reviews are bogus, designed to counter the real reviews.

Fantastic experience: Julia was incredibly helpful with my recent work order. She promptly assigned a vendor and made sure the maintenance request was completed as expected. Julia is always friendly, professional, and responsive whenever I need assistance. Her support truly makes a difference—I really appreciate her dedication to excellent service!

Negative experience: Scheduled an appointment to view a property and followed the steps to retrieve a key from the lock box. But there was no keylock to put the key in, only a smart lock (which was out of battery). Called Pure and dealt with customer service in India who said she would escalate the problem and I should expect a call. Wasted my afternoon and never heard back from Pure.

Fantastic experience: My partner and I were looking at renting a place with Pure and had a great experience. Although the house we were looking at got rented out before us, Pure kept in great communication with us and even refunded us our application money. I appreciate their support in helping us find a place!

Fantastic experience: A month ago, I would not have recommended this company to anyone looking to lease. When I first became a tenant, I had a great property manager, but she left the company. For the last year and a half I have been plagued with maintenance issues that were unresolved for very long periods of time. It was nearly impossible to get someone to answer the phone or call you back. Then a few weeks ago, I got a new Property Manager by the name of Jennifer Libert. She is amazing and has been a blessing. Not only did she call me directly when my AC unit was out, but when I called her back, she answered the phone. Whoever hired Jennifer hit the jackpot. She cares about her Tenants and she’s on it right away. I used to work for a property management, so I understand that your client are actually the homeowners but to do good service on both sides is how you were going to grow as a company! Thank you for turning your company around at least in my eyes and hopefully you keep those kind of people as Property Managers. Thank you

Negative experience: Honestly, dealing with this property manager and owner was a nightmare. Everything was fine until move out, but their lack of communication completely ruined the experience for me. I wanted to leave my unit in great shape so I could get my full security deposit back. When I tried touching up a few walls with the paint that was already there, it wasn’t a perfect match. No big deal, I reached out to ask about the right color, fully willing to fix it myself. If they just told me what to use, I would’ve gone and bought it. Instead, they told me not to worry about it. Straight up. So I didn’t. Then after I moved out, they turned around and took a chunk of my deposit to repaint the same walls I had offered to handle myself. After telling me it wasn’t necessary. That was the moment everything flipped for me. Up until then, I had no real complaints, but this? Shady. Unprofessional. I won’t make the mistake of renting from anything tied to PURE Property Management ever again.

Fantastic experience: Julia is the absolute BEST! When my heater went out this winter, she worked hard and made it a priority to schedule to get it fixed. Her communication was quick and accurate. I feel lucky to have her as a contact when I have maintenance issues.

Fantastic experience: I rent an apartment managed by Jennifer Lebert. I first moved in almost six months ago, and at that time, noticed a few issues that needed to be corrected with the apartment. With a simple maintenance request, which was very professionally handled, all those issues were resolved within days. Since then it has largely been smooth sailing, with a few small hiccups here and there, such as the air conditioning in our unit starting to fail, but again the maintenance team and Jennifer were able to rapidly and professionally resolve the issue. I've lived in a few different spaces since moving to Arizona, from dorms, rented houses, and corporate apartments, and I can confidently say that I've had the best experience with Pure, and with Jennifer specifically, than any place previously. Fantastic experience: So far, so good. I am just over a week moved in, and this has been my experience so far. Joyce answered my questions to the best of her ability, to help make the application process smooth. Jennifer the property manager and Elena the administration assistant have been communicative and go above and beyond with any help I need. Lastly Julia, the maintenance coordinator, has given me tips on how to troubleshoot any issues I've had; the garbage disposal and laundry washer. If troubleshooting doesn't work, she has someone call me to schedule a maintenance appointment.
