So we really needed someone who we felt confident in to assess the houses and let us know details that are hard to know when you're just watching on zoom (e.g., can the windows open? How are the outlets?). Andrew was great about noticing small details about a house, both good and bad. Furthermore, he helped us navigate the very "hot housing market" in Madison, and made sure to get us in early to go on tours, submit our offers quickly, and helped us navigate how to beat out multiple offers to get the home of our dreams. Fantastic experience: We've now worked with MWREP twice over the last 7 years or so. The first time around when we bought our first house, and we had such a great experience that we came back when it was time to sell our house and buy or next home. Andrew helped us buy both of our homes and we cannot speak more highly of our experience with him. He took time to really understand what we were looking for and helped us explore all options: looking deep into building and then eventually full steam ahead in buying an existing home. The market when we bought was still pretty crazy, but now that we've been in our new home about 6 months or so, we firmly believe we got the "right" house for us and that's thanks to Andrew's strategy and assistance. Additionally, Matt shepherded us through the house selling process. As first time sellers we were nervous and obviously new to the process. Fantastic experience: Our realtor, John David Vasquez, was absolutely phenomenal. He took time to learn what we were looking for as we were not local during our search. He was so patient, available, as well as informative about any issues including doing virtual tours until we found the right property. He not only brought us up to speed on the market, he patiently instructed us on the contract forms, and taught us so many things about the entire process. In addition, it was extremely helpful that he is so knowledgeable about so many aspects of the properties including heating, electrical, water softener maintenance and issues, appliances as well as general condition of the windows and frames.
