Negative experience: Very shady business deal we had, did paperwork signed all paperwork, put down deposit, deal was done, week later called up to tell us that the seller didn’t want to done business with us, with a lame reason, but had sold property from underneath us. Would not recommend or buy with caution

Fantastic experience: Must say the second time purchasing land from Jim and his family was as pleasant and smooth as the first time. So glad we decided to find them again as the ease of purchasing vacant land in Florida now is getting extremely expensive and difficult with banks. The fact you have no penalties to pay off early , no time table to build and the interest rate is less then the banks makes purchasing with them the only smart way to buy. Fantastic experience: My wife and I just purchased 3 acres in West Lake Farms this past Saturday. I told Doug that I would be up to the property at a certain time and then see him at his office when we were finished. Unfortunately we ended up taking a lot longer than we wanted because it was almost a 4 hour trip for us. In spite of that, Doug said that he had an event to go to but, that he would wait for us. We went up to the property 1 time and knew that this was a great spot for us and we wanted it immediately. We drove down to see Doug in Gainesville and he waited for us and we did the paperwork with him. Doug not only accomodated us but, took the time to answer our many questions and made the whole process effortless. From our family, we would like to thank you Doug for being so professional and for taking the extra time with us. You didn't have to wait for us but, you did. We have already referred you to other people that we know.

Negative experience: Not for low income persons.

Negative experience: My Boss called on Wednesday afternoon and spoke with Doug about 4 properties in Fawn Ridge. He was told that he could purchase all 4 and then within an hour, was told that a family was coming out the next morning to purchase one lot. in the same conversation, told Doug that he would take the tract at Falmouth Farms. Asked if he could fly out in the company helicopter and look at the tract..Doug said yes. Flew out an hour in each direction and loved the property. Realtor went to make contact and send the funds, noticed that the parcel was gone off their website. So he wasted time on the Helicopter and Jet fuel to no avail. We understand first come first serve, but a phone call would be nice. All of this happened within 48 hours and no indication that either of these properties was in play elsewhere. Probably a very nice family that has been doing this so long that they have forgotten to communicate. Would have loved to buy the 20 acres from them.

Negative experience: Do Not Purchase land from this company. I would advise against it wholeheartedly, they pretend to be understanding and nice in closing. They have no interest in you just making the most money on property they bought for a fraction of what they are charging you. High Interest rate, and overpriced land. the videos claim that each property resides in a nice area, with nice people, and this is also incorrect. I have been harassed, robbed from , by the neighbors it has cost me vast amounts of money to combat the issues that have arisen from the issues with the property they will leverage anything to continue the property in their name , to keep majority control of the property.
