Fantastic experience: So, we were renters of a 3/2 house in Lauderhill for the past 5 years through Tricon. All of a sudden, one day (10/22) they decided to go up by $500 on our rent. Livid and confused, like many others in our situation. We didn't know our next move. Tricon insisted that we own the house, since we loved it so much. And, we considered that option, since prices were ridiculous everywhere. But, the stress came about when Tricon went up on the price of the house; at a price that we couldn't afford. This encounter changed the process for the better. Rob was thrilled to talk to King, who was expert in his craft. He could thoroughly explain to him what hurdles to expect, and how to get over them. Over the next four months we stayed in contact with King to clarify any information we didn't understand. Our mortgage lenders were too busy asking us for pertinent information and to sign documents, but didn't lend much clarity to us lost first time home buyers. The second house we sought out was a 2-story, 4/3, that needed a face lift; yet, we saw potential. Tricon noticed we were trying to buy it, and they bought it first. Crazy huh ? The third house in mind was another 4/3 in close proximity to the last. This house was more updated and was just beautiful . After signing docs, putting money in escrow, and getting inspections done, the seller's told us they weren't ready to part with their home of 27 years. Unfortunately, they gave us our money back and we had to continue our search. Back to the drawing board, we were so stressed at this point, and felt defeated. King convinced us to keep looking and not to give in. With this type of encouragement, we were back on the house hunt, knowing what we wanted and also knowing we had no more time to waste. Day in and day out Rob and King worked together and found a fourth option, a polished 3/2 with up to date everything. We were head over heels, But, knew better than to get our hopes up. We did the tour and set an offer. Yet, this time the seller did not want to settle for our offer and we were back out looking. Tired and passed stressed, me and my man almost considered looking into renting again, since it was such a roller-coaster trying to find a home, and we were running out of time. The fifth option, was a cozy 2/2 and we thought, "This could be the one." But we weren't getting too excited. King sent the seller our inquiry, and things were headed in the right direction . The mortgage company kept pressing us for more paper work week by week; delaying closing. Meanwhile, King stayed in contact with us and made the the seller aware of the troubles we faced. We were damn near homeless, and needed to be out our rental like yesterday. He notified all parties and got extention after extention - to accommodate for the time it took us to complete documents. Without a doubt, King and his team are the real deal ! I am so grateful we bought our first home through them!
