Positive experience: Prior to this experience of selling our late mother's condo in Kings Point Tamarac, I had none as far as selling a property, and based on this ordeal I hope I never have to go through it again. But this had more to do with the state of a condo market bordering on collapse than with our broker, Patty DaSilva. I think Patty is a caring person, was generally clear and consistent in responding to my many concerns, saw us through two prospective buyers who backed out after we'd already been through months of having no offers at all, and ultimately helped us seal a deal with the third buyer just as 2024 was ending. But there were some issues as well. I think her firm's policy of having just one point of contact is arbitrary and unhelpful. That point of contact was another family member with whom my relationship was already very problematic, but who had initiated the relationship with Patty/Green Realty. Still, I was no less her client than that family member, each of us having been beneficiaries of our mother's estate. Not once did Patty respond to my requests to communicate certain information to me directly, nor did she even once ever speak with me on the phone. Her only means of communicating with us were text and email throughout the more than seven months we had a dedicated agreement with her. Two times her colleague, Hannah, spoke with me, one of those times just to relay the bad news that our second prospect was backing out of the contract. The absence of that more personal touch, which I found quite disrespectful, is why I can't give a five star rating. Still, I'd say that you'd be in good hands with Patty if you're a seller or a buyer. I just urge Patty to reconsider that policy!
