Negative experience: Update: Kale Realty has not responded to this matter as of 10/16. Emails and follow up emails have gone unanswered. We had a very disappointing experience with a listing under Kale Realty and their agent, Harini Prasad. In April 2025, we signed a lease for a unit that was listed by Kale Realty on Zillow, with Harini Prasad identified as the listing agent. We paid $8,200 upfront. However, we were never given access to the unit, and the lease was later declared “null and void” due to what was described as paperwork issues. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the situation — including a formal demand from our attorney — we have not received a refund from Harini Prasad, or a response to the formal demand from our attorney yet. We are sharing our experience to help others make informed decisions. Based on what we went through, we would not feel comfortable renting or buying through this agent or brokerage again.

Negative experience: Incredibly unprofessional and unethical experience. They told us we were the only applicants for an apartment, took our non-refundable application fees, and then pulled the listing out from under us while entertaining other offers. Completely dishonest way of doing business. I would strongly caution anyone from working with them.

Negative experience: Miserable company allowed a house to be bought out from underneath veterans after it was already under contract. If you're rich, I'd say it's safe to go for it. If you're a normal person, they'll throw you to the side for an extra payout. So... I hope youre loaded!

Fantastic experience: We worked with Kim Zaviyo of Kale Realty looking for a condo near our neighborhood. We could not have asked for a more hardworking, dedicated professional to look after us in this search. Kim patiently listened to our needs, answered all our endless questions and always represented our best interests. Communication was always prompt, detailed and clear, and advice and guidance was always focused and on point. Kim’s calm and diligent manner, knowledge and follow-through was a safe haven in an often overwhelming process. We were lucky to have her as our agent.

Fantastic experience: Lilli Xu was an excellent agent to work with. She responded quickly to my texts and emails. She was very knowledgeable about the process and very patient with all of our questions. Most of all she was a good listener and provided listings that accommodated what we were looking for. Negative experience: I was interested in renting a condo who Eliana represented the owner of. Once I got approved and the lease agreement was sent over, I had asked a few questions and pointed out some things that needed to be revised before I was ready to sign. After that was fixed, I asked another question about the wording in the lease, and I was basically told that I was asking too many questions so the lease offer was rescinded - for no valid reason. Intending to be a respectful tenant and avoid miscommunications only got me disrespect. The agent was minimally responsive afterwards and extremely condescending on the phone. Isn't the entire point of her job to make these transitions smoother?

Fantastic experience: Jenny was the best agent you could ask for! Every step of the process she used her wealth of knowledge and experience to guide me in the buying process and always had my back when it came to making choices about my house buying process. Fantastic experience: We have been looking for a house that was most appropriate to retirees like us. Unsuccessful for the last 2 years, we hired Annette just 3 months ago. She has plenty of experience/knowledge to figure out what property her customer wants and was diligent to filter out all the listings available. We saw less than 8 homes/condos and purchased a home at 9421 Kilrea Drive, Orland Park. Annette is calm and does not push her customers too much. Fantastic experience: Biekhal Alkhalifa was our realtor. She was responsive to our messages at anytime of the day. I am a really detail-oriented person and first time home buyer she explained everything from basement waterproofing to molding issues, attic insulation etc. If you want extra inspection in addition to the great home inspector she found for you, Biekhal also will connect you to the roofer guy , waterproofing guy and molding inspector. She also explained a good strategy when we give offers to several houses. We are really happy working with her and looking forward to making business with her again for our next property purchases. She supports her community especially women from diverse and different backgrounds.

Fantastic experience: I received speedy and immediate assistance from the Kale agent who assisted me through my home purchase. The property was previously on Contingency status but as a result of encouragement from my agent, I was able to put in an offer. As much as I can layer on the cheesy positive sales terms, to get to the point she worked hard to find any potential houses we wanted to see. Found a way for us to look at as many as possible. Was real to us along the way about certain issues houses could have. And once we found the house we finally closed on after several heart breaks, we knew we found our best home. Even though we were outbeat a few times, her positivity of 'your perfect home is out there and I will find it' was the best drive and support. She was right. We have the perfect home thanks to her! Her attitude is pleasant, sweet, and straight forward.

Fantastic experience: I love my agent, Franklin! He does a great job helping me with finding a house and also negotiating with the seller. The seller and his attorney were not responsive and giving us so many issues. Franklin was great in handling all of this and did so much in the background so I don't have to see thr ugliness underneath this sale. Will definitely use him again when I buy and sell another house.

Fantastic experience: Worked with Iven Kaiser, would highly recommend. We were able to land our dream house at an incredible price. He challenged us on our way of thinking and because of that we ended up paying less than market value. Kudos to him, great real estate mind.

Negative experience: We put in a offer on a house listed by Nicole Frlan, and got a verbal acceptance on our offer, only for it to be taken back, because she didn’t do her due diligence. We were very excited to hear that we were going to get the house we really wanted, especially for it to be our first home, only for it to be taken away 30 minutes after we got verbal acceptance, they took another offer. I feel like our offer got used to get a better number after we got acceptance, and it shows that their word means nothing to them.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I worked with Biekhal Alkhalifa and it’s easy to say that she’s hands down the best realtor out there in the Chicago land area. Biekhal gives you her honestly opinion about houses and neighborhoods which is very helpful when navigating the best place to live. She was very knowledgeable about everything related to house shopping. She organized all the showings based on our availability and she was always on time! She’s great with communication and answering questions. She made the entire process super easy and fun. We love our new house and we’ll definitely work with her again in the future.

His service was second to none, spent almost every weekend with us for MONTHS, was incredibly responsive, we cannot recommend him enough. For as long as we're in Chicago and he's still working we will use him as our realtor.
