Experiencia negativa: This management company is a mess. They sent me to Long Beach to get keys — didn’t have them. Told me to come back the next day — still didn’t have them. Then the manager ( Maria) said she could give me the apartment keys but not the building keys, so I literally couldn’t access the unit. That turned into waiting several more days. Just constant runaround and excuses. When I finally saw the place, the property was dirty, unorganized, and clearly not well maintained. You can tell this company operates in a very outdated way and doesn’t really care about the tenant experience. I personally would never deal with this management company again. Save yourself the headache and go with a more professional operation. To Maria, Jose, and Annabelle: you didn’t just mishandle a tenant you revealed the culture behind the company and this experience didn’t fail by accident. It failed by leadership!!!!
Experiencia fantástica: Have been at my location for over a year now and haven't had any major issues. Had a few small issues when I initially moved in, but they took care of it instantly and I felt like I was a priority. I recommend renting with Berro, but do wish their locations did have more parking.
Experiencia negativa: Studio on Locust is kinda decent, but there's NO PRIVACY. There's always an inspection, an unwanted contractor, the building manager (Dorilian) wanting to give you papers in hands instead of leaving in your door so he can take a peak at your apartment. Stay away if you consider your house a sanctuary. You'll have more unwanted people wandering around than actual guests.
Experiencia negativa: It's been 10 days past the time I should have received my deposit back. I left my apartment spotless when I left. This place will take your money and leave you to the trenches, they never took care of the roaches or the neighbors smoking drugs and yelling at odd hrs of the night. Save yourself the time and never rent here

Experiencia fantástica: Honestly probably one of the best realty company’s out there. I had the best experience at the regent apartments. I had two landlord the time I was living there and both of them were so helpful and actually cared about their tenants. Never any real issues living there other than plumbing but unit never had a problem! Would definitley recommend this company to all of my friends and fam. Thank you!!
Experiencia negativa: you shouldn’t contact this company, they will charge you 40 dollars for the application and will not approve your apartment, that’s how they make money, it’s just a business baby.
Experiencia fantástica: I needed to take a moment to just say how AMAZING Jocelyn is. Every time I called with any questions or concerns during my application process, she helped so much. I have never had such great renting customer service. I hope she gets recognized for her kindness and amazing customer service!!!
Experiencia negativa: I’ve had the most terrifying experience. My home was burglarized multiple times police reports and on going investigations been calling, leaving voicemails for a month to notify and get the cameras for surveillance running no response back from the supervisor for a month!I didn’t get a call back until I emailed them. Other tenants in the unit have had their cars broken into, bikes stolen and they’ve refused to get the cameras running… tenants who are never late on rent yet they don’t prioritize their tenants safety and there property. So sad! Apartments are well taken care of. Have had multiple things breakdown and they have replaced but when it comes to safety a nice place goes out the window. We all prioritize our kids and family safety. Will definitely suggest to look elsewhere.
Experiencia negativa: UPDATE 11/6/23: Still no one has even bothered to come and fix the plumbing issues. UPDATE 10/27/23: Our on-site manager is new and she has done nothing to help me fix issues inside my apartment. There is a water leak coming down from the 4th floor that is causing visible mold on the ceiling of the bathroom and you can hear the water leaking from the bathroom above, she assured me I would have someone call me to resolve the issue, 2 weeks later and nothing. I also have another water damage issue (I'm sure it'd from the same floor coming down on the walls and seeping into the carpet, it is visible from outside the unit and inside the unit. Again, nothing has been done. Berro Management used to hire better managers that would listen to your problems and fix them, I guess they don't anymore. This property is near the cross streets of Ocean Blvd and Orange Ave. I am not going to give full address here but they should know which one I am talking about. I have lived here for 8yrs and management has never been this bad. Please fix the problem.

Experiencia negativa: My GF just got ripped off on her cleaning/security deposit from this company. Left place spotless charged $185 cleaning fee for a tiny studio in Long Beach that was infested with rodents stay away! This was after manager promised her a full refund.

Experiencia negativa: Tenant at 1230 E . 1st st is continuously loud either with loud music or their kid screaming at the top of her lungs, at all hours. Despite the numerous calls to Berro, they haven’t rectified the situation. making nearby neighbors move out or live with windows shut. So if you’re looking to rent from a company that looks the other way when it comes to noise pollution… rent from them

Experiencia fantástica: I have been living under BPM for 5yrs now & love how the owner is very attentive to its tenants. For any concern that we have had a staff member gets back to us or on site manager promptly. Also the easy method of online paying, is ver convenient. 9/15/2021 BPM is on top of their game. They are very quick at responding any concerns from my end towards their tenant's. Well informed of what needs to be updated and able to work for it. Kind & Friendly staff! Definitely recommend BPM to friends or just anyone, really.

Experiencia positiva: My partner and I are happy with our apartment and haven’t had any major issues over the past four years. They are quick to handle and fix any maintenance issues. Our manager keeps the common area clean and welcoming. Online portal is also very easy to navigate and convenient to pay rent each month.
Experiencia positiva: I've been a tenant for over 3 years and have not had any issues before. I don't understand why their doors are still closed to the general public/ tenants when public schools have reopened, dining rooms are open at restaurants and all businesses are pretty much open. We're not in a lockdown anymore so IMO I think they are taking advantage of Covid and using that as an excuse to not have to deal directly.
Experiencia positiva: Good management over the years. Could use some improvements in some areas though such has supplying a bike rack for renters. The space is there to construct a dedicated area. Also, needs improvement for recycle management. A lot of recycles are going straight into the dumpster because there is no dedicated recycle bin.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been renting a Berro Management property for around 4 years. I haven't had any issues with them. At one point, my fridge kicked the bucket and they replaced it very quickly (within 1 or 2 days). The property is well maintained as well. Definitely a company worth renting from in my experience.
Experiencia negativa: They compensate for reviews and use a third party to eliminate negative ones. They got dinged on Yelp for doing this, and you'll notice that reviews after 2018 get pretty thin. I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

I have lived in an apartment building managed by Berro Management for the past eights years and I do not have much complaint. The building is always clean and we receive immediate responses to repairs if there is a need for repair.

Experiencia negativa: Sad i have to rate to post a review. This is a horrible company to rent from. When you're a tenant for over 11yrs and a property manager for 7yrs and you enforce their rules to tenants and ask for the unit you rent to be fix after 11yrs and the solution is to give a 72hrs-60 day notice to vacate. Yes I was their employee and I know how they work and how they run a business when wanting to vacate a property. Your suppose supervisors do not stick up for you and are frauds. Even gave me that notice when being a great tenant and paying the rent on time. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. Oh did I mention the rent increases are by 9.6%-10% in one heartbeat.

Experiencia fantástica: Good management. For the longest time they managed the apartment I am staying at for 7 years. Everything was organized and up to date. Paying rent online was also easy to use and convenient. It saved me a lot of time to pay my rent monthly. When I need repairs on my unit they come quick. Unfortunately, since the apartment complex has been sold, the property management was also replaced and it was nothing like how Berro Management took care of it.
Experiencia fantástica: Updated review..Please use this one.627 Linden is very clean and very quiet. The neighbors are hi and bye people and stay out if everyone's business. Berro worked hard to get me here under my circumstances. Both manager and Berro supervisor spoke politely and were very friendly and kind. I even got to keep my theropy pet with a letter from my doctor. When repairs in my unit are needed they get on it right away. The only issue I have is the washers. And that is just a tiny issue. Most important is I am living safe. My thanks to Manager Veronica and all of the office people at Berro management for always doing what you can to keep me here.

Experiencia negativa: Staff at Berro Property Management on 4th is disorganized and ruid. There were no follow ups to my voicemails and emails. Rich did not refund full security deposit and attached a housekeeping as well as vacuum fees eventhough apartment was left spotless. Rich was misleading durung conversations and did not mail paperwork in which he stated was practice. However, Berro Property on Orange St was awesome and Manager Helmer was a terrific neighbor as well as the tenanta!

As a starving artist there were times I was very late on my rent but my landlord was always kind and understanding, and the site Manager was the same exact way. They answered my calls and emails with professionalism, kindness, and understanding. While living there I never had a single disagreement or arguement with any employee, we always saw eye to eye. They respected my privacy and by the time I moved out I could call my Landlord a friend. Which in my opinion is pretty rare. If you are looking for a place where people will treat you how you treat them, Berro Management is the place for you.

I had nothing but great experiences with this company & can honestly that I would gladly recommend friends and family to them. Highly recommend!
Experiencia negativa: Been in my apt for 16 years. Apt is old and no place to do laundry. Berro took over management and assigned a little bully named Isabel to manage our property. She barely can understand English and has an attitude. I asked for 1 repair and was met with a notice to vacate in 60 days. This is my reward for being a good tenant. Berro mgmt is just another low budget, half assed run , money driven co.
