Experiencia fantástica: I met Jenni McKenna over twenty years ago when I switched to Keller Williams Realty. Once in a while, I would work with a buyer who wanted an investment property, so I would refer the client to Jenni. I had only been a realtor for a year and it was convenient to have someone in my office who did property management. In those early years, I learned a lot from Jenni regarding property management, even though I only had a handful of investors and most of them only bought a house or two. Then, about 12 years ago, I started working exclusively with national and international investors, who bought multiple properties. It was only natural that I would refer all of them to McKenna Property Management for all their management needs. I refer my clients because I know that Jenni will take care of them, and she has. There has never been a time when Jenni hasn’t been there to help us out of any situation that arose, even beyond her scope of responsibility. I have never been disappointed, nor have my clients. For my buyers, I often have to deal with existing property management companies managing the property that we are buying. Any agent that has had to do that is aware of the nightmare that it can be. Jenni’s office runs smoothly and professionally. Her staff is responsive and very helpful. The company is efficient. They always answer calls, return emails, and ultimately answer all my questions and concerns. Melinda Falcon especially walked me through many aspects of the process and even made a special trip to my property when preparing it to be listed. That special attention meant a lot. I expect nothing less than that to continue well into the future.

Experiencia negativa: 02/02/2026 Almost 6 years later, Ms. Jenni McKenna responds herself. See attached. Opinion still stands. ZERO STARS. If I could give ZERO stars I absolutely would. Where do I begin? I wish I would have read the reviews prior to getting involved with this "management company" I hope this review will warn, an teach prospective renter's to STAY AWAY FROM MCKENNA PROPERTY MANAGEMENT. I'll start by saying, I work in property management.. not only do I work in property management, I'm a PROPERTY MANAGER. So you could imagine how shocked I was to receive my $24 refund check. Yes, you read that right! PAID $1400 SECURITY DEPOSIT TO ONLY RECEIVE $24 BACK. Which is INSANE. But oh wait, wait until we get into the bullshit charges. 1st: "Jimmy's Handyman Service" apparently everything Jimmy's hands touch turn into gold, seeing that his prices reflect this. $25 to replace a towel bar. $85 to replace light bulbs, A/C filters (which I changed right before we moved out, because we had vaulted ceilings and I specifically remember almost breaking my neck climbing on a ladder to do so) and smoke detector batteries. $125 to clean the garage floor, that I guarantee is not clean and was the SAME WAY it was when we moved in. So now the balance is $320. Moving along.. PAINT! Please for the love of god, if you plan to rent DO NOT hang anything on the walls. Even pictures. They will charge you for nail holes. (Typically you are charged if the hole is dime-sized or larger, again I work in property management.) I've attached the photos of the holes that were on the wall. Apparently to fill those holes, touch up paint, labor & material cost $470. Again, if they would have communicated or said on the "move-out requirements" holes needed to be patched I could've done that for far LESS. Same with the "touch up" paint. I could've easily got my own paint, with my discount and did it myself. Now, here's the REALLY crazy part. We only lived here for SIX MONTHS! We moved in March, bought our house and moved-out the end of September. Because we were breaking our lease, I did the right thing and put in proper notice and paid the early termination fee. The early term fee was $2,799.00. So between the early term fee and $1,376.00 in charges. This "move-out" cost me $4,175.00. I have attached the photos for you all to see, and judge for yourself. We also moved out on a Wednesday, trash day is Sunday. That's why we left the trash in the dumpster so it could be taken out Sunday. Had we would have known they were going to charge us (THEY CHARGE FOR ANY & EVERYTHING) we would have made sure the trash was taken out. But, just like from the very beginning Elonda, Jill, and everyone else do not know how to communicate properly. Don't even get me started on how long the work orders take. Having to cancel a work order because they didn't reach out or complete it. Literally having to borrow stuff from my job, or have my maintenance come over and fix the things they can't seem to fix. I can literally go on all day. Needless to say, I am BEYOND thankful that we have purchased our home and will never have to rent from a hole in the wall property management company again. All the horror stories you hear about not getting your deposit back is TRUE. It's not worth the headache. I wouldn't recommend this company if my life depended on it. So happy to not be dealing with them anymore. Congratulations, you wrongfully charge people and keep THOUSANDS of dollars worth of security deposit's. You should really be ashamed. Also, you might want to look into finding different vendors, because if these were the same people you used to turn the unit prior to us moving in, I'll tell you first hand it didn't look like $1300 worth of work. Steer CLEAR. Oh, and the “response from the owner” save it. There’s no need to even respond with a bullshit apology that you don’t mean.

Experiencia negativa: I'm not even sure where to start with how bad this company is. We applied for a house they managed back in October and the first sign we should have gone with a different option was the lengthy approval process that put our move behind schedule. Once we got the keys to the house, that's when the nightmare started. The house had endless repair issues and the landlord fought repairing them tooth a nail. It took days to get a response from mckenna despite us constantly calling and messaging them. Finally after a week of no heat they respond by telling us that they have chosen to drop our property, but we still have a lease directly with the landlord that was being so difficult. They promised to send us all the information like leases but never did. The already poor communication disappeared completely despite the fact that we had 2 more weeks under their management. They also held onto our fee that went towards air filters and access to the rental portal despite giving us neither. I asked multiple times about getting it refunded but each time they just said they would get back to us. Since dropping us we have had to deal with a very difficult landlord that refuses to pay for necessary repairs without a fight. Absolutely do not use this rental company and if you do make sure to check and see if the landlord has a history of being difficult. The whole situation put us under so much stress.

Communication is important and no one has responded to any of my emails, phone calls, or texts, after Debbie Initially reached out to me, but when I had a friend contact and apply, they were responded to instantly. I had another friend called to check on the property and they were responded to immediately and told that somebody was approved this morning 12/30/25 … however I was told an application was approved December 22nd … There’s a major communication error here, that is why I viewed this as a scam. No one has responded to any of my inquiries, but you have now responded to this review so no , I am not deleting or updating this to sound more appealing. It could’ve been completely avoided with communication: It took me leaving a one star review to get a response, but it was only to the review. When my refund is posted to my account, I’ll update that. I applied for a home listed on Zillow. I received a text from Debbie about this rental that the owner approved someone else before they could process my application. The rental is still listed on Zillow. I have reached out several times to try to follow up on my application just in case the person approved ends up not moving in. I had a friend apply and they reached out to my friend immediately. I requested to apply under another email & was immediately sent a link to tour the home and apply. I have called, texted, emailed yet I haven’t been contacted. Most likely a scam to collect application fees. I’m disappointed because I am fully ready financially to move into the home I was interested in and am looking to move immediately.

Experiencia negativa: I had adequately cleaned our apartment prior to leaving and existing damage. I was subsequently charged a cleaning fee and repair fee for blinds despite reporting issues and leaving apartment in better shape than we received it.

I have dealt with Property Management Companies for over 15 years and I have never in my life have dealt with someone like Melinda. She is HONEST, diligent, hard working and is always exceeding my expectations. I feel like she is always on my side. She always says when she doesn't know something. She says "I will ask my Broker for you." She puts her whole heart into her job. She drove from Henderson to my house in Summerlin to pick up the garage door openers and the keys to the house. She said she wanted to see the house. She must have drove 25 miles each way. What did she do to exceed my expectations? She flushed all three toilets so that there wouldn't have a water ring in the bowl. A very special person, not because she flushed the toilets. It gets better. There was an issue at the house and she came out a second time and handled the issue PERSONALLY! I am 70 years old and live in California, and I always feel that Melinda TRULY Cares for me. She always takes my phone call and when she's out in the field, she calls right back. McKenna is lucky to have someone like Melinda. She looks out for you. Not that the other people at McKenna aren't good, it's just that MELINDA IS THE BEST!!!

Any questions I have they take the time to make sure I am helped and happy. Their team is the most organized team I have ever seen, They have one person for every area. The receptionist always answers by saying my name when I call, which sure it's called ID, but it makes me feel like I'm known and important, not just some tenant. They have one person assigned to maintenance, one person assigned to financial, one person assigned to hoa, one for renewal of lease and many more I'm sure. So every time I call I know who I'm calling for and they always remember details about me, the family or the home. When we first signed the lease 2 years ago, they gave us gift cards, candies for the kids and family movie tickets. So after all the moving in, they treated us to a relaxing family movie. That was so kind. I even went as far as thinking that they were only nice because we're signing paperwork, and they would be difficult after a few months.... But I was way wrong!!! 2 and a half years here and they have just been better and more pleasant o er time. I literally can't sing their praises enough. Love you McKenna Team!!! They then sent me to collections for another months rent and never notified us.
