The move out process was by far the worst I have ever dealt with. They expect tenants to pay for carpet cleaning and look for every possible way to nickel and dime you until there is hardly any deposit refund back. I'm very careful and take care of places when I rent and there is no excuse for the way they handled that. I would never work with Keller N Jadd. "The greedy man is discontent with a whole world set before him."

I do wish my carpet could be cleaned and some things in the unit that needed to be fixed was fixed before I moved in like the blinds, locks and screen. I also wish they would put the tables and or benches back in the park like it was when we firstmoved here. But overall, I do enjoy our unit and the office is willing to fix certain things that need to be fixed. No major problems.

Experiencia negativa: I’m a current tenant who enjoys a strong relationship with the property owner, while Keller n Jadd simply serves as the property management company. I’ve rented through Keller n Jadd for nearly eight years, and I’ve paid my rent on time approximately 98% of the time. However, like many people, I’ve occasionally needed a bit of flexibility—and unfortunately, that’s something they seem entirely unwilling to offer. Their rent collection practices are unnecessarily rigid and, frankly, borderline predatory. Despite a nearly flawless payment history, if rent isn’t paid by the third of the month, a late fee is immediately assessed. By the sixth, a seven-day notice is already issued—before the seven-day window has even technically begun. Recently, I informed them I’d be paying on the eighth and asked for a little understanding. Predictably, they refused. The late fee was enforced, which I understand, but I was also hit with an eviction notice with no regard for my long-standing history as a reliable tenant. Worse, if you’re more than five days late, they shut off your access to the online payment portal and force you to physically drive across town to hand-deliver a check. This is punitive and completely unnecessary—especially considering they normally accept electronic payments from the same bank accounts without issue. It’s clear the inconvenience is intentional, serving no purpose other than to make the experience as unpleasant as possible. As someone who owns two properties in Michigan held in our family trust—and who has over 24 years of experience in real estate and mortgage lending—I can say with confidence that this is not how quality tenants should be treated. My uncle owned one of the largest property management companies in Plymouth and Canton, Michigan, and I’ve helped manage rent collections myself. I’d never allow a management company to treat our tenants this way. In short, if I were a property owner in Nevada, I would never trust Keller n Jadd to manage my investment. Their practices alienate good tenants and reflect poorly on the owners they represent. It’s a textbook example of how to undermine valuable landlord-tenant relationships through poor management and tone-deaf policy enforcement.

Experiencia fantástica: It is rare that I would write a Google Review about a Colleague in the real estate industry, but the outstanding care and conscientious work ethic of Derrick Keller, led me to do so. Long story short, a repeat client of ours, had asked us to represent him in the purchase of a new home here in Henderson NV. He and his wife had sold their home in Montana, and were staying with their 2 little dogs in a Hampton Inn, while we found them a new construction home. The builder's lender dragged his feet on the VA loan approval for the home they were in contract for, for over two weeks, and finally disclosed that our clients' credit was in the tank and the new home purchase was off the table.. The clients had been the victims of identity theft from an Uber driver and this is really a case for the FBI with what has transpired since. Needless to say the police had suggested they lock and freeze their credit. So our clients were pretty much homeless. I suggested they go into a rental for a year until they can get their credit cleared.and decided to look in the MLS for homes that were owned by local real estate.agents, knowing that a realtor would be understanding of the extenuating circumstances for the awful credit scores, and would look past that. I was able to identify about 10 agent owned rentals in our clients' preferred zipcodes. The first home the clients applied for was owned by an agent with whom I have done transactions who said he was totally open to having our clients "apply" and didn't see a problem. $ 160 later, he became inaccessible and unresponsive, pretty much ghosted the clients, and my Team. I would get text messages about his being "at a Dr's appt", "it is in his property manager's hands", and this went on for 4 days without a definitive response. I kept asking for a simple approval or disapproval - bear in mind our clients offered to pay a year's rent plus deposits upfront, and the husband, a former Marine, has Top FBI Security clearance - so renting to these lovely people was not a big risk. Plan B was Derrick Keller's listing. I sent Derrick an e-mail explaining that my client was a Vet with 20 years service, was solid financially, and that he and his wife were pretty much homeless. Derrick responded to my e-mail in 5 minutes. He then gave the home's access code to my partner, so we could show it, and he was able to get my clients in the home in just a few days - lease signed, keys delivered, and clients finally settled in Derrick's beautifully maintained property. My real estate brokerage, Simply Vegas, does not permit its agents to be property managers nor list rentals. Derrick is now my go to person to whom my Team & I will refer all my investor clients who require TOP NOTCH Property Management by an efficient and ethical Broker who goes the extra mile and cares about people. If you need to find a home to rent in Las Vegas or Henderson, Derrick Keller is the best. He is kind, caring, efficient, tech savvy, and ethical.

Experiencia fantástica: Thanks to my realtor Derrick at Keller n’ Jadd Realty and Property Management, my recent townhome purchase went smoothly and we closed on schedule a few weeks ago. The purchase was different in that I had been leasing the townhome for several years, when I was approached by the owner to see if I would be interested in buying it. Keller n’ Jadd had been the property management company for the property and he suggested that we use a dual agent representation (one Keller n’ Jadd realtor to represent the interests of both the buyer and seller) to keep the some of the realtor fees reduced. Since the parties to the sale were familiar with each other, this made some sense, but I was concerned about having one agent serve two masters. As a result, I suggested using a designated agent representation instead (i.e., two realtors from Keller n’ Jadd with one representing the buyer’s interest and the other representing the seller’s interest). Both parties were amenable to this arrangement, and I believe it made the process smoother, as it was similar to the traditional buyer-seller agent representation most people experience when buying a home. In addition, the same savings on realtor fees was accomplished with this representation as well. During the home buying process, Derrick helped me negotiate several thousands of dollars of seller’s credits (instead of reducing the asking price) that I used toward covering closing costs and buying down the interest rate by nearly a full 1%. Over the long-term, this approach should save me more money in interest charges than if we had asked for a comparable reduction in the asking price of the townhome. If you do not think you will be occupying your new home for more than 10 years, then a reduction in the asking price might be a better choice instead, but discuss both options with your realtor and mortgage agent first. Now that the sale is complete, I am using some contractors that Keller n’ Jadd recommended to address some of the repairs identified during the home inspection process. These are pre-screened contractors they have used in their property management side of the business over the years, so it saved me having to hunt down qualified contractors on my own. This was just another added value in using Keller n’ Jadd Realty and Property Management as part of my home purchase. I would highly recommend considering Keller n’ Jadd for your realty or property management needs.

Experiencia negativa: This company will nickel and dime you. They don't maintenence houses before renting them. My rental had plenty of trash in the backyard, I had to clean before my pups could be out there. There was a giant hole in the wall from outside in, also had to instantly call for a leak when the water came on. There is a lot wear and tear on the home, and they expect it to be better than you arrived, which I made some minor improvements, but they'd never notice. They had a stain on the dining area, which we got cleaned, but claimed the carpet was new. Unfortunately, these companies come up with greed tactics, and don't really care about the people they are working with. Just money money money. I wish this company the best, but they never will be, as they are. Figure it out. I don't recommended this company for housing needs.

Experiencia negativa: They gave me 3% annual increases with only 30 days notice and with no official warning. They just sent me the new lease and told me to sign it. I’ve never lived in an apartment that does regular increases and they never told me or warned me when we signed the original paperwork and there was nothing in the original paperwork warning that it was going to happen. They just added it to the new lease with 30 days notice and told me to sign it or move out. The service team is outstanding and gets repairs done right away, but Derek is an absolute un empathetic piece of it. These guys partner with the Property owners to use subversive techniques to extract every possible dollar out of the tenants. Stay away from anybody that use appfolio.
