I've rented here for 12 years, and have only heard horror stories from people trying to buy here the last decade - stories about smarmy realtors pressuring them into imperfect homes, fruitless searches that went on for months/years, a market so competitive that all offers had to be a few 100k over asking (and include your firstborn), nasty negotiations - basically a stressful, agonizing journey of repeated rejection and devastation. Thanks to Eric, none of that was our experience. The entire process was incredibly quick and surprisingly painless. After the briefest of searches (all of two houses) we just closed on the perfect home for our family of 7 in the perfect location today. Eric is spectacular!

Experiencia fantástica: Jaime Bourgoin was amazing, the job she did really gave me an appreciation for how much real estate agents have to do and a particular appreciation for how well she did it. My first-time home purchase was not smooth sailing for reasons outside of anyone's control, but she was highly adept at navigating it all and getting everything ironed out so that I could quickly close. She was very responsive, explained everything each step of the way, and just seemed to have a sixth sense for solving problems. I don't have much basis for comparison as far as real estate agents go, but I've been a professional for many years and I can recognize what extreme professionalism is. She also referred me to a lender and attorney at my request, who were also extremely good at their jobs. I don't think it would be humanly possible to do a better job than Jaime did.

Being remote buyers (from Seattle moving to Boston) during a crazy competitive market was nerve wracking but Jaime made the whole process, dare I say, enjoyable. After several years in our 3 bedroom condo and after having 2 kids we knew we were on track to outgrow. Randal was willing and able to hear about our needs, show us several properties over a couple years time and when the RIGHT ONE, a 2 family fixer upper ripe to reno into a single came on, just one block from our much loved current spot, we jumped. Not only did Randal help us negotiate a fair deal, he and his team managed turning over our rental properties at the time of purchase and then during the pandemic, but then stepped up in a meaningful way when it was time to sell, move into the 2 fam and start the renovation. Randal helped us create the 'buy low, sell high' scenario we really needed since our home is our most significant asset - and we needed proceeds to fund renovation. When snafu's came up, the FOCUS team were always helpful, level headed and fair-minded. The negotiations buying and selling had our best interests at heart and we could not be more proud of our new home. Randal's upbeat and realistic approach helps anyone keep a level head and we know they are invested in the neighborhood given how often we can see those orange signs up OR the team handing out ice cream bars to the little league baseball players they sponsor.
