Fantastic experience: We hired Tyco a few months ago to assist us in renting our property. We are very pleased overall with Tyco. They carefully and clearly explained the process of rental agreements and conditions, tenant screening, property inspections and insurance requirements. And, when I had questions they were always responsive right away. We wound up with what I would consider ideal tenants, thanks in large part to Tyco. I would recommend them highly to anyone who desires to hire a property manager. As a plus, property management is their only business, so you are not going to have a company that does real estate sales on the side. All focus is on property management.

Fantastic experience: A little over 4 years ago, I became acquainted with Tyco Property Management Company. I was told back then that they were a very good Property Management Company. And well, that reputation stood up very well. Tyco has been a pleasure to work with. Tyco Property Management Company had quickly and professionally handled any issue that had arisen. My contact person with Tyco is pleasant to be with when I see her and always has a smile. I think she is an asset to the Tyco Property Management team, and I can easily give five stars to her and to Tyco Property Management Company.

Fantastic experience: Tyco Property Management Company is great! The team has been a dream to deal with from the moment I made contact with them. All preventive maintenance is scheduled well in advance to make sure the dates and times are good for my family and I. I have only had to use the work order system a couple of times and it worked seamlessly.

Fantastic experience: In 2016 when I was active duty Navy I received orders out of the San Diego area. Tyco Property Management was recommended to me by a close friend. When I called the greeting was warm and inviting. Tyco said that I didnt have to ink a contract with them unless they found a well qualified renter, so they did all the work. Within two days of a verbal agreement they found a well qualified renter to rent my home and they gave me a very fair monthly price! Tyco sincerely took care of me while I was stationed out of the SD area. Upon my return in August 2019, I noticed some minor damage to my home, but Tyco sent their handymen and promptly fixed everything, costing me nothing. A month after I returned I had water damage from my washer machine in the upstairs laundry room. Though my contract was finished with Tyco, they recommended a plumber and dry wall repair which saved me from placing a claim with my insurance company USAA. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TYCO PROPERTY MANAGEMENT!!! They have a family atmosphere and will give you peace of mind when you hire them to manage your property! Now as a retiree if I decide to move out of the SD area, I will only use Tyco!!! Thank you for taking care of my home and for the peace of mind!

Negative experience: Pésimo servicio, mal trato al ser humano, todo el servicio al cliente lo han automatizado, pero con una muy mala programación, por lo que no funciona, dada la falta de respuesta por parte del corporativo, me tome el tiempo de visitar las oficinas, después de 15 minutos parada tocándoles la puerta, finalmente un Sr abrió, pregunté por Allison, ya que el día anterior la llamé 10 veces en diferentes horarios y no atendió, ni tuvo la decencia de regresar la llamada y cuando salió a recibirme… Sorpresa, su trato fue peor de lo esperado, Sra poco empatíca, descortés y desconoce la amabilidad. De haber sabido antes a lo que exponía no hubiese contactado a esta compañía, y ahora al revisar las reseñas noto que este tipo de trato es de años atrás, que no fue algo personal, sino que forma parte de su cultura corporativa… tienen un completo desorden y hacen que las personas perdamos nuestro tiempo y nos expongamos a los malos tratos que naturalmente están acostumbrados a brindarle a cada persona que comete el error de acercarse a ellos.

Fantastic experience: These apartments are nice! Can get hot during the summer. Prepare for heat! Other than that, this area is nice. The neighbors are friendly and look out for each other. Recommend single tenants only for the 1 bedroom apartments.

Negative experience: I cakes the number listed in a rectal only to get nothing but automated information. So I searched their site again to call a sixteenth number only to get a old lady who was EXTREMELY rude and wouldn't let me finish a sweet tall l sentence. I was trying to get more information on a rental than what is listed on the site such as smoking policy and utility information as those ARE NOT listed on the the store for that particular rental. She was rude and hung up on me when I told her that I had already been on the site abs the information I was requesting is not listed! HORRIBLE!

Fantastic experience: Tyco has been our management company since 2019, pre pandemic at least, and as the HOA president, we've worked closely together. Their level of professionalism far exceeds any other company we've had prior. That's why they are still our management company. They've helped us manage our funds to the point we've been able to systematically replace aging roofs. For emergencies like plumbing leaks they are very response day or night. I would highly recommend Tyco for property management.

Negative experience: Went four days without hot water and no dryers in our laundry room, and they never give sufficient warnings when they are doing shut offs or outages in the past. Overall it has been a nightmare living in a property they manage. They are also very rude and reactive when approached with concerns in our neighborhood.

Negative experience: The most miserable experience ever. The company kicked out my sister to fumigate the property. They refused to cover the temporary displacement costs and refuse to turn the heat back on in the property. The point person has been non responsive and does not have a plan to rectify the situation in a timely manner.

Negative experience: Please do not rent from any business that uses TYCO as a property management company. I have over 16 offices and have never experienced such a terrible management service. We are reaching out on a bi weekly basis to inform them that their cleaning service is terrible. We have clients saying that they can't use the bathroom because it smells like urine. They were charging a late fee every month on the 6th for over $500 even though I had an auto payment set up for the 6th. No one ever thought to kindly notify me that I might want to reset it to a different day. It is clear that this company is not managed well and we will make sure we never rent from any Tyco properties.

My husband and I rented a condo managed by them for 2 years, and I couldn’t have asked for a better management company. In the past I’ve dealt with negligence from property management and landlords but here every issue was met with a solution. Our property manager was always responsive and genuinely cared about us even checking on me while my husband was deployed. Fantastic experience: I’ve been with Tyco Property Management Company since 2011 and will plan to use their services in the future. I live far enough away from my investment property which prevents me from being an active landlord and need a reliable management company to act on my behalf. The team at Tyco are excellent, from the property manager, to accounting. They act as the “buffer” between me and the tenants and keep an eye on my investments. I have utilized their contractors who provide fair bids and do good work. In fact, since I’ve been with Tyco, they have kept the same tenant at my rental all these many years. I enjoy the convenience of my monthly checks direct deposited to my account and statements kept online to me to download. In the rare case they need to evict the tenant they have a full eviction service.

Fantastic experience: Tyco managed our home and placed qualified tenants in my home for over 6 yrs. During the time we had been moved out of state, I never once had to be concerned about the home that we would eventually move back into. She always dealt with the rent, the broken garbage disposal and the landscaper issues. When a renter had a party and it got wild, she made sure to document and have the wall fixed so i didn’t have to deal with it. I was very pleased with her care and never had any issues with her lack of professionalism over the years. I know that she is still friendly with our first tenants and even manages his property now. Tyco is a great company to manage your property or find you a place to rent. She has done this for my son after he graduated from college and he plans to use her again soon to find his next rental. It’s hard to please everyone so just keep on doing you Allyson, we love working with you!

Negative experience: Quite literally the worst Property Management company in San Diego. They’re so afraid of getting sued they’d rather unjustly try and force you out. Even if your neighbors PHYSICALLY ASSAULT you, verbally harass and violate CC&R, they won’t get involved and HOA is essentially corrupt due to bias. Laughable. Pitiful. Disgusting. Lawsuits are never fun but worth it if it brings to light a disgraceful company like this! Word to the wise.

Negative experience: No actual person to answer call. Voicemail states 24hr response and it’s not it’s more like going on 7th day. Awful response rate.

Fantastic experience: As a military family of 5, we had hard time finding a home large enough for our family, within our price range, and ready to move in upon arrival to San Diego. When we saw that our current rental was available, we spoke to Allyson and she met with us immediately. She was familiar with the military lifestyle and was eager for us to see the home and begin leasing. After meeting with the homeowner, we signed the lease and moved in within a couple of weeks. Allyson is always available when we contact her and any maintenance needs are addressed in a timely fashion. I would recommend Tyco and Allyson to anyone looking to lease a property in the area.
