Negative experience: I have had the same experience as many other customers who have complained previously. I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Prescott Property Management Company. Communication has been consistently poor, and multiple emails and follow-ups have gone completely unanswered. There has been no acknowledgment, no update, and no clear timeline for addressing concerns. For a property management company, responsiveness and transparency are basic expectations. Unfortunately, the continued lack of communication and apparent disregard for homeowners’ emails makes it very difficult to resolve important matters in a timely manner. I sincerely hope they take customer feedback seriously and improve their communication practices. Homeowners and residents deserve prompt, professional, and accountable service.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to thank Chelsea Castro, our Alta Mar Property Manager, for her professionalism in intervening between a homeowner and board member during last evening's board meeting. I appreciate how Ms. Castro sensed how the conversation was going, stepped in and summarized the discussion, politely told the homeowner that she would review the homeowner's concerns, and then told the homeowner that the board had to move onto other business. Ms. Castro's decisiveness in this situation speaks well to her professionalism. I also appreciated her insights in other areas we discussed during the meeting. I have been working with her as a preferred contractor for many Prescott and Associa Management Companies properties and have seen how much Elena is a people person. Negative experience: Do not be fooled! These reviews are paid reviews. Talk to people that live in the buildings under Prescott management. They are the WORST management company in San Diego. As an hoa board member, I encourage anyone on an hoa who are shopping for management services NOT use Prescott. Our building managers, people like Martha Garcia, Oz Blake, Janeatte Romero etc are incompetent, neglectful, rude, and have cost us tens of thousands$ due to their failed management and overall terrible business service and lack of customer care that is central to Prescott’s name. They do not respond to any inquiries or emails for months, leading to failed maintenance issues and costly repairs that could have been prevented, inability to enforce regulations, inability to resolve even the smallest matters, etc etc. they have an excuse for everything too. We have actually hired a litigation team and are currently collecting documentation from all our building owners to prove actual neglect and inability to fulfill contractual duties from Prescott. Again it’s amazing they don’t have a 1 star review - listen to how these reviews sound - they are all similar. I really encourage you to talk to actual people living in their managed buildings. We are at a high rise in downtown, it’s not just us either call around and ask ANY building managed by them and they will say the same thing. Prescott might come on here to try to rebuttal and tell lies in response to my review, but do not trust them. Please, I implore you do not use their services - it will cost you time, money and the potential property investments of your community. Use some else. Look at their replies to negative reviews - “we are sorry to hear that, please reach out to our customer care at this email…” haha, everyone in our building has done that and we have an endless chain of those emails that have still received no response. Literally everyone on my floor is in the same boat - nothing from Prescott - no response, no action, etc total neglect. Shame on them and whoever wrote those generic replies to just ‘email them for our concerns’ - what a joke that is a lie, we get no where trying to email them!

Fantastic experience: I am the Brentwood Condominium Association / President. Our property Manager - Elena Egos w/ The Prescott Companies - 3517 Camino Del Rio S. office has been an amazing asset to our community. She took over as Manager in January 2025, and in 1 year has literally transformed the effectiveness of our HOA. We had several ongoing issues on property due to the circa 71' age of our complex. Water intrusion being one at the top of the list, but building maintenance, asphalt and homeowner communication were also issues. She introduced several vendors to our community that have helped us get these issues under control and make sure that policies are in place for the community going forward. Prescott has an app that we use - TownSquare, and it is great to centralize information and in most cases get issues resolved in a timely manner. I would highly suggest its use for other properties/HOA's. I cannot Thank Elena and her Team enough for the reassurance and peace of mind her Management capabilities have provided to myself, our HOA board and homeowners here at Brentwood.

Fantastic experience: I received a Resolution Remittance notice from my HOA for two findings that were both honest and accurate. I was able to resolve both issue and submit responses vis email. I received reply back within hours to confirm the issue has been resolved by actions we took and that I would be receiving electronic response back. I wasn’t sure what to expect, however I am pleased to have received response from a human being thanking me for providing response. Overall I’m impressed by the timeliness and promptness of the response. Excellent! 19/21/25: yet another engagement with Prescott related to temporary in-street parking of RV - superb engagement from HOA focal. I couldn’t be more satisfied by our HOA team.

Positive Note: We’ve also had very good experiences with Sara Davis and Brian, who have both been professional and helpful. Areas for Improvement: In the past, communication with client support was challenging, and requests or applications- requests often remained pending without updates. While there has been clear improvement under Marilin’s support, continued attention to timely follow-up and consistency across the team would further strengthen the overall experience.

Negative experience: One of the WORST Property Management Companies in San Diego!!! They take our HOA dues and jack it up every year! And, don’t plan in advance for Budget Reserves with the HOA. Where has all of our hard earned $425/mo. Dues gone too? The Annual Report is a Joke!!! And, just TRY to Contact anybody at PMC about anything and you’ll never get a Reply!

Negative experience: Im selling my unit managed by Prescott. They're charging me $715 to provide the HOA documents to the buyer. If you call them you can never get through. The calls eventually go to a remote phone call center. The phone center will not forward calls to Prescott. The call back time is 3 to 5 days. The emergency number also goes to a call center. How is this service? Just terrible

Negative experience: Prescott is by far the worst company to work for. They are absolutely horrible and everything they do. You can't get a hold of a person nobody ever calls you back. I would highly recommend going with anybody but Prescott. Every HOA that has ever dealt with them knows that they are so incompetent. Thank you. I will be waiting for a response. Fantastic experience: TO whom it may concern, I have worked with Angelica Villa on a few issues here at Rolling Hills Ranch. She has been a pleasure to work with. Always friendly and willing to issue with any issue I may have. She explains all the rules and processes which is very helpful. On a few occasions I even went back to few of the houses that had problems. And sure enough the issue was taken care of.

Fantastic experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As a fence company manager, I frequently work with HOAs to ensure our projects meet community guidelines—especially when it comes to paint color codes. I recently called Prescott Companies to get the approved fence color code for a job just a block away from our business (we're actually located in the same HOA), and I was genuinely impressed. Within five minutes, Marilin provided exactly what I needed. This level of organization and responsiveness is rare—I've dealt with many HOAs over the years, and it's usually a time-consuming process. Fantastic experience: So far I believe Prescott Management for Guajome Meadows HOA is doing a great job! The only thing that does concern me is that I set up direct deposit payment and each month there is fee? Most companies offer a discount because you do this to guarantee payments but, I just dont like the extra process fee. Negative experience: I currently have an external meter water leak. I called to find if I need to cover it with a plumber or if they do. I sent an email, the. sent a message on the app, and called. After holding for zip minutes was asked to hold because the person who answered didn’t know. The person I need to speak with is in a meeting but is aware of my leak because “we have been getting calls all day on the leak”. I was told she would pass the message along but didn’t know when I would be got back to. Maybe today. It’s just water, right? I don’t need it for much, other than cooking for my family and toilet use. Awesome. This company is always shown a lack of response and communication.

Negative experience: Had to give them one star so that it would actually post my comments They are terrible. Roof leak cause condo ceiling damage. Waited for information for over a month. Made calls, emailed and used their app and still no information provided. Not one returned call. Took so long that there is additional damage. Sabrina Greens HOA will have to cover the increased costs because of their lack of response.

Negative experience: Requested a parking permit, but now it's been 4-5 months since my first email asking about the parking permit, paid the fee already, but still no parking permit whatsoever. It cannot get better anytime soon. -------------- No one was in the office this week. No one answered emails or phone calls. The automatic message said they were helping lots and lots of customers, but I doubted it was the truth. We needed a parking pass and had been contacting them for a week. Even though we submitted the payment asap, no parking pass was provided. Need to walk for so long to get home after parking

Negative experience: To all residents and homeowners at The Grove Carlsbad Hosp Way, I am conducting a survey to assess whether you are experiencing similar issues with communication and management since Prescott/Associa took over last May. Despite their introduction of the Townsquare tool, there remains a significant lack of response to requests made through the platform, as well as to emails and phone calls. This ongoing communication failure, coupled with the turnover of assistants under Elena Egos, has resulted in my incurring legal fees amounting to $1,020. My review of their ratings on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau confirms a consistent pattern of poor communication and management. It is surprising that this company continues to operate and manage The Grove, especially given the apparent indifference of the board members.

Negative experience: This company SUCKS OUT LOUD! I have been waiting for 10 months to be reimbursed for an expense that I paid for out of pocket and I seem to be the rule rather than the exception. -They will not answer ANY calls you make to them -They do not respond to any messages you send them other than to say they are passing the buck to a colleague -They do not care about anything other than getting their money and too bad for all of their clients -You cannot get any repairs done unless its an EXTREME emergency and that's just because the HOA President makes sure that we at least get that If your HOA is considering hiring them-May the Lord have mercy on your soul

Negative experience: So far, expressing my concerns have not resulted in any action. Scattering bark over and around dead plants doesn’t count. I have removed the dead plants, but others are dying from lack of water. Hopefully, this time will be different. Negative experience: This is the most poorly managed company I've encountered. The managers failed to complete the project within a reasonable timeframe and only provide updates when explicitly asked. They seem to avoid residents and focus solely on finding cheaper options instead of resolving issues effectively.

Negative experience: This is the LEAST responsive company that I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I am a real estate agent representing the sale of a condo, in a HOA community managed bt the Prescott Compaines. The service is poor. The comminucation and response time is even worse. I would not recommend this management to any consumer. I feel sorry for the community members who have to rely on this company for anything.

Negative experience: Their staff do not respond to emails, nor calls. It frustrates our residents when sprinklers go out of whack and no one shuts off the water for weeks. We're paying our HOA fees and they don't merit any portions of those fees.

Negative experience: Terrible management company. They take 12+ months to complete maintenance requests. They do not keep adequate records of meetings or follow through with assigned tasks. They brush off the concerns of the community members. Our current board doesn't hold them accountable, but they should still be doing their job even if our board doesn't care. Avoid Raul Hernandez. He is incompetent as an Assistant Community Manager.
