The complex is well kept and any maintenance issues have been dealt with immediately after reported. I've always felt safe there. Neighbors were kind, friendly, and respectful of privacy. Jordan, on site staff, is genuine, caring, dependable, proactive, and willing to go the extra mile. Off site manager, Makenzi, is accessible, responsive, and professional. OH BTW- rent was very reasonable! Five stars EASILY!

Fantastic experience: The manager, Krissy King, is really friendly and helpful once you’re a part of the family. Most of the neighbors at Cedar Green are really chill and friendly or just keep to themselves. Good neighborhood. All payments are done online, so it’s a smooth and easy move in experience and I’m sure management would help with any questions you might have.

Negative experience: EDIT: While I had initially had a positive experience working with Cindy Matalon while finding my new apartment, every interaction since then has been a very poor experience. The complex has had ongoing issues with vagrants creating a public nuisance by doing drugs in public, scattering trash and human waste in the car port area. I've reported these issues asking for next steps to remedy the situation and have been met with the run around with no concrete next steps. They advise tenants to contact 911 for trespassing incidents but know fair well that the city won't actually act on these unless the property management company/owners report the issue, otherwise any incident reported to the non-emergency line goes unanswered. The day to day state of the carport area is biohazardous and creates a dangerous experience for the tenants.

Fantastic experience: When Maven Properties took over Evergreen Park apartments at first the first Manager was letting anyone in to rent, and doing the cheapest renovations to the empty apartments. When McKenzie Cook started as the Manager she turned things around big time.

It is honestly one of the quietest and most well maintained places I’ve ever lived, full of friendly neighbors. Jordan is always working to keep the place in great shape, and always has time for some friendly conversation whenever you see him. Makenzi has always helped with any issues that may arise to keep tenants safe and happy. At the end of the day, it’s all I can truly ask for from apartment living. Thank you guys

Fantastic experience: Lynn was incredibly sweet, welcoming, and considerate throughout the apartment tour this morning. She took the time to walk me through the unit thoroughly, pointing out both the big features and the smaller details that really matter when choosing a place to live. She clearly explained the layout, finishes, and functionality of the apartment, and made sure all of my questions were answered. Lynn did a great job introducing the amenities and features of the entire complex. Her knowledge, patience, and friendly attitude made the experience feel comfortable and informative. Overall, it was a very positive tour, and Lynn’s professionalism and kindness left a great impression.

Fantastic experience: When I moved into Sunridge Apartments, I thought I made a mistake. The management services were to say the least “below average” Homeless, right outside the entrance, trash uncollected, and people that didn’t even live three on the premises parked where ever they pleased. Now on the inside, appliances needed repair and other maintenance request needed fulfilling and for months they kept piling up. Unacceptable! Then! We got notice that new management was taking over.. and man we were not ready for what came next… OFF RIP. The service went from half a Star to FIVE STARS !!!!! Everything and I mean EVERYTHING did a 360! We quickly learned that Makenzi and her team had a vision and a plan to make every tenant here know that we matter. All maintenance request answered and completed with the quickness, trash collection service always provided, NO MORE HOMELESS RIGHT AT OUR ENTRANCE and people who are NOT suppose to be there are Towed quickly. Makenzi Cook made her name and services instantly trustworthy throughout our apartment complex and if she leaves I believe it’s going to be very difficult for the next management team to match her teams expertise. So thank you Maven team for all that you do! Forever grateful!

The previous management struggled with communication, and getting anything fixed in my unit felt almost impossible. It was frustrating to say the least. But everything changed once the new management took over. The difference was immediate. Makenzi jumped right in and completely turned things around. She’s always on top of things—quick to respond, quick to help, and never lets a question or concern go unanswered. Any time I had an issue, she made sure the work order was submitted and handled right away. I’ve been renting for over 20 years, and it’s rare to find someone in property management who genuinely cares about their tenants. Makenzi is one of those rare people. She makes sure we’re taken care of, and it truly shows. Highly appreciate her and the positive impact she’s had on this community!

Negative experience: Moved into one of their properties. They didn't have the place cleaned at all. The whole place was disgusting. The only excuse I got was "We had new cleaners and this was the first place they cleaned." This was the first obvious lie because it was clear that nobody did anything. The bathroom was nasty, toilet had piss and shit all around it still. The carpets were disgusting and should have been replaced prior to move-in but they weren't. According to their lease, they would charge a tenant at a very minimum $400 for the cleaning I had to do, not including the carpet cleaning I attempted. When I complained to the landlord, Krissy King, and requested I be compensated for doing the work that should have been done, her response was "Okay, I can release you from the lease and you can move out." That's not how you treat a customer. I called the office in Seattle and told them about my experience and then never heard anything back from them directly. Instead, the leasing agent offered to have the carpets cleaned professionally, even though this should have already been done before anyone was moved into the unit. Even after the professional carpet cleaning, these carpets still don't feel clean, they feel greasy and gross. THESE CARPETS SHOULD HAVE BEEN REPLACED. If anybody from this company cared about their tenants, all this would have been done prior to my move-in. They seem to only care about collecting deposits and not using them to clean the apartments. I don't feel that a free carpet cleaning is enough compensation, especially considering it should have been done before move-in. Absolutely the worst moving experience of my life. Attached are just a few pictures, there are many more, to show how gross it was. One photo shows the tank of water in my carpet cleaner after going over one area 3 times. Another photo shows the hair that was pulled up from the carpet with my carpet cleaner. One of the photos shows how gross the fridge was. And one shows the hair that was pulled out of the shower drain. All of this was visible, if a cleaner had come into this apartment, which they didn't, they would have easily spotted these and had these cleaned. But again, NOBODY CLEANED THIS APARTMENT.

Fantastic experience: I've been at Bayview Apartments since December of 2022, I'm getting ready to move out in a few months and had issues with my lease renewal. Makenzi took the time to discuss the issues and found a solution that solved the problem and eased my anxiety about the future. Makenzi does things by the book but she does what she can to help and that's a unique quality, I've dealt with a lot of heartless property managers so this was a refreshing experience.

Makenzi was incredibly sweet and had a beautiful appreciation for these historic places. The staff are knowledgeable. Negative experience: I lived in an apartment under this management company for almost 3 yrs. The management was not very professional or good at their job. The maintenance crew didn't know what they were doing and ruined flooring while moving appliances in the kitchen. They also ruined good flooring in the living room because they improperly installed a dishwasher, which leaked under the flooring. I also ended up paying for 10 extra days of power after moving out because they didn't handle it well!

Fantastic experience: From the start Makenzie has been beyond amazing. She attentively listened to all of my/our concerns. I'd mentioned to her all the issues our previous unit had, how the previous management company/owner had basically ignored everything we mentioned, our washer had been squealing from day one, once I was able to get a workorder in with maven, it didn't take but a couple of days when I had a call from their technician to contact me about my concerns. I'd mentioned during his visit that we had been planning to move. Makenzie contacted me asking what it would take for us to stay. So, I told her. And she and the technician, David, came up with an amazing option for us, and we have been happy with this solution! I was about to leave the most negative review of this property until maven took it over. Our new apartment is so much better than the previous one. Neighbors are so much quieter, respectful, and doors aren't slamming.

Fantastic experience: Moved to a family out to Washington from Kansas and, after a considerable time house hunting, got a call back from Mackenzi Cook at Maven Properties NW who had a unit that suited our needs. From the outset, she was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and patient and remained so during the viewing/tour and all the logistics involved with the application and approvals process! This is a large move for our family and involves elderly parents, etc who have special care needs. She listened and made sure we were able to meet them as best as possible. The industry is better for having her in it and we are so thankful!
