Positive experience: Overall a nice place to live. The staff are responsive and the amenities are nice. I am disappointed they have decided that we can't decorate our doors or put rugs in the hall. It makes the place look like an institution.

Fantastic experience: Lee Ann and the maintenance crew are great! Always accommodating. Leaving the hot tub open for fall and winter is a plus! Hot tubs are best in the winter months!

Negative experience: This mat was confiscated yesterday by the CIP property I'm renting with. The CIP communities decided to updated their policy last month and no longer allow ANY personal decor in the hallways anymore across ALL their properties. This includes any welcome mats or door decorations as well. The reason given for this update was CIP wants a clean and uniform look in the public areas across all their properties...Please avoid this communities as this is just one of the many issues that come with renting with CIP. Just to list a few: excessive rent hikes annually, nickel and dime you during moveout to avoid reimbursing ANY deposits, and allow contractors to take up the limited resident parking for excessive amounts of time. Lastly, this last year they also pushed a broken secure entry app called Geokey on all the residents at my complex and removed all other forms of entry. The app was half-baked and didn't work from the start but CIP doubled down on their commitment to their partnership with Geokey and refused to revert back to a physical key until months and months of frustrations and backlash from impacted residents. Save yourself the trouble and avoid renting from CIP communities.

At North Ridge, we previously partnered with Geokey for entry access. After giving it a fair try and listening closely to resident feedback, we decided to remove it from our residential buildings. We also understand that concerns about rent and move-out charges can feel frustrating. Charges are only applied when work is needed to return a home to move-in ready condition, and our teams are always available to talk through the details.

Negative experience: This place is not recommended. They come out with goofy policies about not letting their residents put up signs on their doors or have door mats. I do understand door mats because it can be a tripping hazard. I don’t understand door signs. This company is all for being controlling. Also my complex which I pay over $1600 a month for “luxury” has had their hot tub down for over 2 months. How is this luxury? If I’m paying that much for these “luxury” amenities, where is my refund for the hot tub being down. I don’t think I’ve even seen someone out there trying to fix it. Returning back to the new policy, my complex has signs out on doors, in the community, and several security cameras in common areas. All of those things are now supposedly not allowed for residents, due to safety issues. My question is this: when will the company adhere to the own policies that they make their residents adhere to? Once again, I pay over $1600 a month for a CIP complex. Don’t make the same wrong decision that I made. Save yourself the hassle and go to a different apartment company. Hypocrisy at its finest in this company and it’s extremely sad to see. They don’t care about their residents

Negative experience: There is a new policy “for the sake of a clean and coherent look” that bans all outside decorations. Including NON-vulgar signs on doors. I have lived here for three years and have been pleased until recent management has taken over. This is my home and I’m not allowed to decorate it. The halls now feel like a prison. Dark, grey, and no life.

Negative experience: This community started out as friendly and welcoming and encouraged individuality. However recent policy implimentations have made it more communistic and uncaring. Property has gone down hill with cheaper and poor quality landscaping Just less caring. Ive been here 5 yrs and have seen the changes and rent keeps going up.

Fantastic experience: I have never lived in such a well-maintained and respectful property in Lincoln. Our management and our maintenance teams are friendly, caring, and helpful. We feel blessed to live in such a beautiful home. I especially love the pool, grills and gas fire pit!

Positive experience: I really appreciate the maintenance team and all they do to manage the upkeep of the complex' grounds. The leasing office staff has changed since I moved in but the new team has shown a willingness and have stepped up to address any issues that come up. I did not have decorative items at my apartment entrance, but thought it was nice that residents were allowed a personal touch. Wonder if this also means no Christmas Reefs.

Positive experience: I like everything so far everybody’s friendly only problem I have is the birdfeeders it covers my patio and bird food new washer and dryer wash machine does all right dryer does not dry the clothes completely otherwise everything else is going good thank you

Negative experience: We are no longer allowed to have door mats in front of our front door. I’ve never heard of a place being able to confiscate your personal items in front of your own door when you pay a lot to live here. These apartments are pretty average, nothing terrible about them, but nothing spectacular.

Fantastic experience: Polite staff in office. They do go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. The maintenance man is young and very knowledgeable. The office staff and maintenance staff communicate with each other.

Fantastic experience: We live in ground floor unit and moved here for , peace , quiet and security. Unfortunately we have an upstairs tenant who is very inconsiderate by causing noise beyond what might be expected all day long including what seems like gym work . We were told before move in that structure was VERY sound and little noise should heard, not the case as we hear everything.

Positive experience: I enjoy the tranquility of the property and the solid feel of the units. I am content. The team is nice to work with. I would say that the website description of upscale living is maybe a little generous. With the amount of rent I pay, I would expect that my appliances are updated, that the grout work on the kitchen floor would be tidy, that the deck, windows, front door, and garage floor would have been thoroughly cleaned prior to move in. There is often garbage in the pond, the hot tub is broken, and the gate is falling in, in multiple places. There are also dead trees that need removed and empty spaces and landscaping that need filled. Invest back into the property! It’s a very lovely place but needs some TLC.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I have lived at Aspire in Woodbury for nearly 14 months and it's consistently been a delightful experience. The staff are tremendous. CIP hires staf who are pleasant, thoughtful, service oriented, and willing to uphold the policies of our resident contract. That means a lot because it prevents chaos. Fantastic experience: I have found Brynwood to be a very diverse and welcoming community! The staff is very attentive, friendly & professional. The apartments are very well designed & lovely! The amenities with the 24 hour gym, an outdoor courtyard with a heated pool, fire pits, grilling area’s makes it easy to socialize. The location is close to all kinds of stores, restaurants, schools and professional needs as well. It is perfect!

Fantastic experience: I am a long time resident five years and I've always been pleased. The staff is so helpful. The grounds are kept so nicely. The buildings are maintained so well whenever I have a problem, which is rare maintenance is right there and very helpful and courteous I couldn't ask for a better situation

Positive experience: Overall the place is good. However the grounds to the entry way need fixing. Dogs pee by the doors making the grass die and dirt appear. It makes the building look less appealing for the cost

Fantastic experience: Really enjoy the area and the amenities. As a community they do some fun stuff, they have this great office area with pool and lounge area. I’m a single dad, and there are prolly other single persons in the complex. How about a singles meet and great in the amenities we currently have. Enjoy what we have a meet new people at the same time.

Positive experience: Generally a good experience. Not happy with the wall paint in the stairwells never bring touched up or the carpet on the steps and landings never being cleaned in the 3+ years I’ve lived here. Also, dead plants and shrubbery next to the buildings are not replaced and rarely is the trash that gets blown into them removed. Maintenance staff changes frequently which is concerning.

Positive experience: The staff is probably one of the best things that you have here. The speed that we experience whenever maintenance is needed in the apartment is amazing,as far as the grounds go it could use some fixing in areas where they bricks and rocks are falling and the sides of the garage door opening needs some work in order to give a better image of the property. Fantastic experience: The Grand Legacy is a nice, clean and safe place to live. The grounds are kept up no trash. The grounds are of green grass. Feels like home. The front office is Staff are friendly knowledgeable and helpful with your needs. No is perfect but I Feel like The Grand Legacy is really nice and makes me feel at home. The Forrest backs up to the property so use will wild life deer, wild turkeys and a few other. It is quiet here. There is a pool to dip in when it hot. Besides other amenities. It’s like a real community people will help you if need it. That’s why I love living here for three years so far with my little dog.

Positive experience: The pond is stagnant and smells. I understand that they used to have fountains that helped circulate the water. Garbage is always present. We all pay for the ammonites and are not receiving all of them.

Positive experience: Overall, it's a good place to live. Maintenance is quick to respond, and the staff is professional to work with. General appearance is starting to look run down. I moved in over ten years ago and the sides of the garages were missing a lot of paint and the weatherstripping was worn out. Ten years later, it is in the same or worse condition. The front entrance to my building has a doorbell that does not work. (2805) I don't know about the other buildings.

Fantastic experience: Shadow Creek has been a great apartment community for me - quiet, new finishes and appliances, larger units, and ample parking. I also really love that we are located just on the outskirts of Lincoln, but also central enough to grocery and convenience stores, ALDI, Kohl’s, Scooters and Starbucks, etc. - and a 5-minute drive to the newest Planet Fitness in Lincoln, and the many other fitness clubs are nearby as well. I am fortunate enough to live on the top floor (4th) facing southwest (by request for my houseplants) and I am often gifted with spectacular sunsets, and a view of the skyline to the south. My dogs currently live with my partner elsewhere, but she and I have taken them to the dog park for some socializing and exercise. The pool is nice, though I have not used it. Perhaps the hot tub is in my future once the outside temperature isn’t a billion degrees Kelvin. The staff and maintenance are both great as well. If you are looking for access to grocery shopping, trails, the ability to quickly get to the east on Hwy 34, the interstate, newer appliances and a modern look, I definitely recommend Shadow Creek.

Positive experience: The apartments are very nice, and the facilities are also very nice. Maintenance is usually very Responsive, but sometimes does not get the repairs correct the first go round would . Hot tub has been broken down for over two weeks, which is not popular amongst the residents of this community. This is definitely the nicest apartment we have ever lived in.

Positive experience: You have always taken care of everything we've requested. Our AC in this particular apt does not cool the bedroom very well. The only negative. We actually moved away for a year a came back.

Fantastic experience: We love living at Aspire! We've lived since the beginning, when building 2 opened. The facility is immaculate - modern, new and very clean (cleaned daily). True luxury living. We feel like we live in a resort. The staff is what makes living here so enjoyable. They are attentive, kind, fair and fun! The neighbors are very diverse - we love it - young, old, every age in between - families, singles, couples - locals, people from around the U.S. and the world!

Fantastic experience: The staff is fantastic! So friendly and willing to help! The maintenance also does great work and here very quickly to fix any issues we’ve experienced. I very much appreciate the trash room floor being cleaned regularly now. I have to agree with other comments about people not cleaning up after their pets, that is frustrating. The only other concern I have is the parking garage is very tight. It would be great if the larger trucks had their own section away from the cars to make it a bit more manageable to maneuver. We make it work but feel we have to ‘pivot’ (in my best Ross Geller voice) a lot!

Positive experience: Everything else is fine, except there are times when my apartment smells like pot. It’s got to be coming in through a vent. I don’t smoke anything at all, so the smell is very problematic and annoying. I don’t choose to live that lifestyle, and I don’t want to live in a place that smells like pot. It’s not all the time, usually on evenings and weekends when the office is closed. Could you send a reminder to everyone, like you did regarding picking up after our dogs?

Positive experience: I have really enjoyed living in my apartment. It’s a major adjustment transferring from a home. Downsizing to an apartment. I have felt safe here which was my main concern. The problem is there are great people here who are great renters, pay on time, Treat the places with respect, And want to live in an upscale apartment. Treat these tenants with the utmost respect . Most of them aren’t college age. we’re on fixed incomes. We want to be here. We take good care of your property. If you keep raising the rent on the people that want to be here and push them out. This property will decrease in value, On a number of levels. And I would hate to see that happen. So come on Schleich family. i’ve known y’all for generations. You’ve got a good thing going with these apartments, but you’re pushing people out with the cost going up every year. that type of turnover will only wear the place down faster. Once you go through the process of downsizing, you really don’t want to have to move again.Thank you. The perfect tenant☺️

Positive experience: Property: Eagle Run Apartments, Omaha Overall, it’s a great place to live. The staff is friendly & personable, maintenance is quick & professional, lastly we have the most wonderful neighbors! But as with any rental there are issues you have to deal with & they can be a major factor for some people. As a tenant we pay a LOT for our facilities but they are very poorly maintained. For instance, there is still water in the pool, which has been closed since Labor Day… it’s now the beginning of December. I’m so disappointed. The dog poop bags rarely get replaced so there is dog poop all over the place in the grass which is the only place for the kids in the neighborhood to play, of which we have A LOT! No playground but definitely areas to have one. No dog parks but also plenty of places to just put up some fence for them to run. It’s a pet friendly neighborhood but they don’t use pet safe salt on the sidewalks!!! It’s really not taking much more than a few dollars out of the pocket of whoever is on top to make the necessary switch. Lastly, the saddest part is the awesome boardwalk we have. It’s less than 15yrs old but I swear it’s never been sanded or re-stained, just no care whatsoever has been done so it’s literally falling apart under your feet. Splintering wood everywhere, hand rails are broken, splintered & laying around. Then there is a hole in the middle of the deck that had a cone placed over it for months before it was finally fixed. Sadly, that’s just way too long for an appropriate response. And frankly I’m a little scared because our decks are made of the same wood. Overall, I still love it here. The positives highly outweigh the negatives for me. But not everyone is the same, and these issues here may be too big for some. In good conscience while writing this, I cannot overlook them and pretend they don’t exist.

Negative experience: Had to delay our move in nearly a week so they could do repairs. And I'm not talking minor either. The entire wall shook along with a horrible noise when you turned on the water in the bathroom. Like how do you miss something like that in an inspection when you're going to rent a home to someone?! When I said something about reimbursement for the time we were unable to move in, I was told "we signed a contract and that won't be possible". Horrible. There is also not nearly enough parking for residents. I pay over $1700/ month and have to park by the clubhouse nearly every day. Which is roughly a block from my actual apartment. The "weight/exercise room" is a bunch of junk equipment as well. The pool is just a regular pool, nothing special. There isn't really a "clubhouse" it's just the mangers office with a fireplace. I would 100% say to look elsewhere for a home. These are overpriced for what they are. You're paying for the location. They also spam you with CONSTANT emails. I get at LEAST 3 emails a day from them. They'll throw your bike away if it's not "locked up appropriately". Just another random thing this place does. 0 out of 5 stars. I absolutely HATE this apartment and CAN NOT wait until my lease is up.

Positive experience: We recently moved. But there are some issues such as the door slamming closed, residents don't cleaning up after their animals and the trash people coming way before 6am. If these are resolved there would be no issues. It's a lovely property with many much to do such as the pathways, the park, the gym, the pool, the conference room and bar. Love that we don't have to go out when it's cold.

Negative experience: CIP has forced Geokey on some of their communities and at ours it's been a disaster. Not being able to access my home without a smartphone is such a trash move. It's been so glitchy since installed 6 months ago and creates so many safety concerns. It takes over a minute to get into my home each time. But then I'm told to contact Geokey to fix things, not my actual property manager. Give us physical keys back. Or at least fobs. I'm not even joking when I say whoever made this decision should be fired. Stop doubling down on your garbage investment and make this right. If geokey is still required when my lease is up I won't be renewing my lease. It's a shame because otherwise I like my apartment.

Positive experience: Our deck has a few boards that are rotting out and all of the boards are chipped. We are walking on paint chips. It’s very unsightly as well. I reported it to the office manager over a month ago but nothing has been done and as far as we know there is no plan in place to fix it. We expect better since our rent was recently increased by $141 each month!!
