Fantastic experience: Nebraska RIS has been BY FAR the best rental company I have lived with. From the beginning, they were informative, friendly, and forthcoming, and have continued in this way since I moved in. Their maintenance is second to none!! A large or small project is truly taken care of as quickly as possible. RIS is communicative and respectful to their tenants and the tenants' rights. I truly have only positive things to say and I'm grateful and glad I have chosen this company!!

Negative experience: Edit: 4/25/2026 this is the exact type of response from the company I was talking about. No accountability, passive aggressiveness. Complete lack of professionalism. Should be put of out business for talking to people like that. POS company. Very unprofessional. Tried to rent through this company and it was an absolute disaster. The tour with Rowdy actually went well, but everything after that completely fell apart. I submitted an application and was charged the $50 fee, but was then told they couldn’t find my application (and tried to get me to do anotherone which was sketchy, like they wanted 50 more dollars). After that, communication became inconsistent and confusing. I was told different things by different people, and no one seemed to have a clear understanding of my situation. I was never sent the link to pay the deposit, despite being told I could request and complete it online. I checked my email thoroughly and only ever received the application link—nothing for the deposit. I also attempted to call the office multiple times and received no response. Later, I was told the unit could only be held if I paid the full deposit upfront, but at no point was I given a clear or consistent way to actually do that. When I tried to clarify and follow their instructions, the responses I received were condescending, passive aggressive, and unhelpful. At one point, I was even asked what I wanted them to do after already following their instructions, which shows a complete lack of organization and communication internally. Whoever was communicating with me was just immature. Overall, the process felt disorganized, unprofessional, and poorly managed. If this is how they handle potential tenants, I would be very concerned about how they handle actual residents. I would not recommend renting through this company. Only positive, they refunded the 50 dollars.

Fantastic experience: I just want to give Cheryl Walgren 5 starts for being an amazing house manager!! Every time that I had to have something fix Cheryl was right on it and took care of the fixing with her maintenance crew.when ever I had a question Cheryl was alway there with an answer if she didn’t know she find out and get right back to me. Negative experience: BE PREPARED I lived in their Cooper Ave apartments from the end of 2022 until the end of 2025, and sadly cannot recommend them as a property management company (especially for first time renters). Cheryl was certainly the easier of the two property managers to work with; however, there is a lot of 'miscommunication' that seemed to happen on several occasions. Between billing errors, prolonged maintenance requests (one winter I was without heat for 3 days and didn't get assistance until I called the thermostat company myself to troubleshoot), and difficulties getting clarification on the lease, I can't in good conscience recommend renting from RIS. At one point, they tried to evict me for supposed 'mold' in my bathroom toilet, which was a lie and also at no point did they even alert residents that they were doing an inspection. Cleared things up when I sent them photos of my mold-free toilet with my lawyer CCed. They have exterminators who come MONTHLY, and it certainly seemed possible that they were the ones inspecting apartments. After the supposed mold incident, I installed cameras and caught the exterminators several times poking around and even commenting to each other 'be careful, you're on camera,' (the day after Christmas). I did not receive much back on my deposit and would have lost more if I hadn't fought them on it. They claimed late fees even though it was documented several times that we had previous agreements on how much to pay and when. Again, 'miscommunication' happened more frequently than anywhere else I've lived. To Cheryl's credit, they did take back the late fees after a bit of back and forth, and whenever I did get communication from her it was typically kind and considerate. Giving 2 stars because the building itself is decently renovated and in a fair neighborhood in the city. Neighbors were relatively drama-free for the most part. The rent was very cheap for a 2 bed 1 bath, which was why I'd stayed as long as I did. If you do choose to rent from them, make sure you: know your rights, install cameras, be persistent, and have a lawyer on hand. Editing to add following Kim’s response: I asked for proof of non-compliance regarding the mold referenced on the 14/30 notice and they did not have any— photos or otherwise. They stated it was marked down on an inspection during a day when I was home all day with no visiters. Again, the photos of a perfectly clean toilet and a CCed email with my lawyer put it to bed. Installing cameras helped ensure that never happened again. Her snarky responses (as evidenced by other reviews) kind of proves the lack of professionalism exhibited by this company.

Fantastic experience: A housemate & I rented from Cheryl + team for about two years, and I'm going back! They were prompt and did what they could for any issues we had regarding maintenance (e.g., bugs/roaches, plumbing, etc.), community concerns (e.g., noise disturbances), and financing/accounting (e.g., online errors). Of course, there were times that getting in contact with someone was difficult, but if you can understand that you're not the only property they have, that they're understaffed, and just *be annoying, but respectful* about it, you'll get someone! :) If you show in both words & behavior you care about the place you live in, they _will_ do their best to reasonably help! I never once damaged any of the property I never bothered anyone so if you rent from this company just be aware of they don't like the company you keep expect your friends and family not to be able to come over

Negative experience: Can zero stars please be an option? We rented a home for literally $2300 a month for a year. A gorgeous brand new home. No issues with the home. We cleaned from top top to bottom even mowed the lawn when we left. They took almost the whole 2300 deposit for carpet cleaning and re painting. The home was new, we were there a year. The carpets didn't need cleaned or re painted, wd kept everything super clean. ANYWAY, we didn't complain because we moved into another cheaper property from them. Which wd wouldn't have done if we knew they were going to do all of that with our previous place. They charged for weed pulling in the egress windows. I went back for some packages that had been delivered, looked in the egress windows and weeds were still there. I bet you they never got the carpets cleaned and no repainting was done. All false charges. Fast forward to 3 years later. We are being forced to move from our home due to false accusations from a neighbor/neighbors. No proof has been provided. No neighbors have confronted us. It's complete false BS things that they are claiming. All of this happened after a new door was put in. The previous door was crooked and all it took was one slam of it and the whole thing fell over. It was broken when we moved in. I believe that they made everything up because they were mad about the door repair. So get this, I'm not cleaning!! Why should I waste my time cleaning when they are going to charge $300 for cleaning anyway. We have lived here a while with 4 kids. I'm sure this place will need repainted. But also wear and tear for 3 years. We shouldn't have to pay for the whole thing right? Wear and tear are expected. I know we won't see a dime of our deposit back. Another issue that I'm having issues is that I work nights and sleep during the day. I have had to wake up and leave the house for them to do house tours. No way I'm going to sleep knowing there is people walking around my home. I could stay and try to sleep but my anxiety won't allow that. I asked politely if they could please make the showings after 3:00 pm. They said they would try. When I spoke with them about these accusations from the neighbors. They said that there were several complaints over the last 3 years. If that was the case, why did it take 3 years to hear about it?? They also could not even tell me which neighbor. Why are my neighbors figuring out who the landlord is and complaining to them? I still think this is all fictional. Please don't rent from this company. They are incredibly unprofessional and don't have an ounce of kindness in them. Here I am being forced to move the same week as my childs major surgery. Do they care??? Hell no!! Run far far away from them. In response to the reply from NE RIS. They now told me the name of my neighbor who was complaining. Had they told me the name from the start it would have given me a chance to talk to said neighbor and try to hash things out. I have copies of all text conversations if somebody wants proof. They definitely said that multiple people had complained to this person. So would you really stay somewhere knowing that multiple people have an issue with you, but none of them are brave enough to come talk to you about it? No one would chose to stay in that situation. It's also quite laughable because my childen have not acted any differently than they have been. Because nothing ever happened in the first place. Kids will be kids and older elderly people will complain about kids being kids. Apparently this neighbor saw us moving out and started to feel bad, as she should. What type of person goes and complains to someone's landlord over stupid petty little things?? Yeah you wouldn't want to live there either. Very thankful to be moving in 4 days. I work 13 hour night shifts at the hospital. I am a charge nurse. My job is incredibly stressful. Patient's lives are literally at stake. It is very important that I get my sleep. I sleep from 9:30-3:00. I complained right away after the first showing that was at 11. There have been 3 total during that time. Not surprised

Negative experience: Actual scum. No advocacy for tenants. Took our entire deposit and wants more to cover BS charges. No move-out list was given. They want to charge us for lawncare AFTER we'd moved out, a final water bill which we paid, and carpet cleaning (even though they refused to clean the carpet before we moved in). Somehow these things add up to hundreds more than our deposit. Lived at the property for five years, they never lifted a finger to help us, yet demand the place is left pristine when they force us out because the owner wants to sell the house. And good luck communicating with them! They never answer the phone, emails are hit-or-miss, and they WILL NOT return calls no matter what. Look literally anywhere else.

Negative experience: Don’t ever rent from here. Always a paid on time for rent. Never had any complaints whole time I lived there, but every time I put them as renter history they lie and make it hard for me to get rented too. They also took my whole deposit and charged me twice as much as the deposit for “cleaning the walls” and “painting”. Also I had to pay an extra 3 months because they are impossible to get ahold of to let them know you moving out and some how that’s falls on the renters and not them. All their properties have a roach infestation too and they do the bare minimum if anything at all. Definition of Slum Lords!!!!

Negative experience: Almost impossible to contact even when trying to pay off the alleged debt. They did a walkthrough when they took over management at the French quarters apartments yet want to charge for things we didn't do. We were homeless when we were offered this apartment floors were not cleaned doors damaged/missing. They have a contract with one of the towing services also so better have plates and not buy a new car. If you bring up the parking to them they won't take responsibility they'll blame it on the owner of the building. Hell they'll probably even respond to this stating that they have no control over these things that it's the owner of the building. Well sucks you took over for the company we were renting from it's been horrible, in glad we're out of that situation. Crooks like this should be shut down. When we moved out we cleaned the apartment top to bottom, still got charged roughly $1,500 for repairs and cleaning. Can't contact them to talk about alleged charges. Maintenance is a joke!!! Maintenance guy fix the sink and somehow change the water pressure to barely trickling. Heavy police presence at most of their properties. And why am I receiving a letter saying I didn't pay you when I just paid you guys you turn it over to collections already? What kind of scam is this

Fantastic experience: I had been looking for a place for 3 months, and unfortunately had no luck because of my criminal background, (I have a full time job and great credit) I found a property and Nebraska ris was super quick to reply back and get me set up with an in person tour! I’ve been in my place for a week and they’ve been quick to come in and fix anything that I’ve noticed. They’ve been super easy to work with and communication has been amazing as well! Fantastic experience: These folks have managed my properties for a number of years and have done a fine job. At times when I stop by to look at the outside of my properties I am able to ask residents how the like living here and have always received positive feedback by them. My properties are also nearly 100 percent occupied which is another indication renters like them. RIS has always addressed my concerns promptly as they arise. They even discuss various potential future needs to keep the properties pleasing to rent. I recommend RIS highly!

Hi Rita. I am sorry that you are unhappy with your deposit release and the charges when you vacated. We do our very best to be fair to the tenant, while protecting the property owners investment. We give every tenant a move in checklist and ask for it to be filled out and turned in to help protect you from getting charged for anything out of normal wear and tear in the future. We also would have no problem meeting with you prior to the end of the month for a move out inspection and give you the opportunity to fix any items that still needed attention. This did not happen. Again, I am sorry that you are unhappy with the amount you got back from your damage deposit.

Negative experience: I was overcharged a small amount in addition to my automatic rent payments by RIS over a period of a few months. When I realized the mistake, I contacted the office and explained the problem, RIS acknowledged that I had been overcharged. Despite this, RIS refused to return the money that had essentially been stolen from me. This unscrupulous behavior is unacceptable, which is why I am no longer a client of RIS. I uploaded the updated LLI the day it renewed. Furthermore, I was also falsely charged the previous year despite having uploaded a policy. Emily: I looked back on your account to see what you are talking about and I am a little surprised by your negative review. The charges that you are speaking of, were for LLI insurance that is required if you do not have your own renters policy loaded to your portal. I understood that you had tried to upload your renters policy, but that it had been "invalid" and you began getting charged for the LLI insurance. I hope you understand that you were both getting emails from AppFolio warning you that your renters policy was invalid and you were getting charged by them. You both opened those emails for three months before contacting me, that is in our records, and on your portal still. We got your policy loaded properly and went to bat for you with AppFolio to try to get you a refund for the three prior months of insurance that you were charged. RIS did this for you, even though it wasn't RIS that received this money, nor was it RIS who would need to return it. They denied two of the months because it had been too long and the insurance coverage had been provided, but they did refund you the month we were currently in. Your response to me was: "That's okay! We can take the reimbursement as cash and call it a day :)" I am not sure what has happened from that point to now, but I am truly sorry that you feel this way to give us a negative review. I also want you to know that the emails AppFolio was sending you letting you know of the insurance requirement and charges, only go to the tenants, and not to RIS. It is your responsibility to respond or ask questions earlier. I know you said you got ahold of me when you "realized" the problem, but in fact you were notified for three months, each month prior. I wish AppFolio would have refunded you the $9.50 for the all three months, but I also understand their point that they had notified you and that they had provided the insurance to you for those earlier months. Negative experience: Your response is laughable and although I appreciate you sending me the full reconciliation check, there is still the fact that you refused to pay me back for parking and utilities I didn't use, as well as the rest of the damages found when I moved out. It's easy to hide behind a keyboard instead of actually taking responsibilities for your actions. None of the workers were scared of me and some even helped me move. The only ones afraid are you because you know I have evidence to take you to court. Which is why you denied me a walkthrough. I wouldn't want to rent from you if you were my last choice. I'd rather sleep under a bridge. See you in court! Kimberly and Cheryl are the absolute worst property managers I have ever had the displeasure of working with. I rented my studio with the impression that it was renovated. 9 months later, they kicked everyone out of the building for construction that "had to be done." We were told we would be in the hotel for two weeks. They continuously extended that time, and as of now, everyone is STILL displaced in hotels. It has been nearly TWO months. There were a ton of other issues even before they told us we had to be out with the crews that were hired. Fire alarms being set off, construction starting two weeks early, and then crews starting to work at 6:30/7:00 am. Those are just a few. When I contacted RIS, I was told to deal with it and that if I didn't like it, to break my lease. When construction started and we moved out of our home, I had a security camera plugged in. We were told nothing would be moved and that it would just be covered up with plastic. EVERYTHING. I mean EVERYTHING in my home was moved. Only half of my belongings were actually covered. When I said something, my camera was disconnected. When I called the office about it, I was told that it is "weird to have a camera in your home and be watching the crews." I was also told that I was not allowed to enter my home to reconnect it. After paying rent. I was again pushed to end my lease. A few weeks later, I went into my home to grab some things (a month after being kicked out at this point) and found belongings thrown everywhere, next to the toilet (which was in the tub), furniture broken, etc. Nearly $500 in damage by the time I found everything. They will only reimburse me $350. They refused the rest. Everything is also heavily coated in a thick layer of dust and grime. When moving out, I found a workers entire set of keys in my door, with my home unlocked and the door propped open. The halls were also full of equipment to the point where I couldn't move furniture out if I wanted to. I called the after hours number to get things moved because I couldn't find anyone and I had their car keys (left in my door). I received a text the next morning from Kimberly stating that they were scared for their safety and that I had lost the privilege of a walkthrough of my home and I was no longer allowed on office property to even turn in my keys. they are entering peoples homes for "inspections" while they are displaced WITHOUT notifying them and issuing eviction notices if they don't like the state of the home. This is also the SECOND TIME IN A YEAR that they have kicked people out of these buildings for "renovations." Again, this is just a drop in the bucket compared to the shear amount of horrible experiences this company has put me through just in the last two months. Before that, they were fine. Never really had an issue. But the way that they are handling issues during this time is unacceptable and pushing people to break their lease and then giving them FIVE DAYS to find a place, have an application processed, sign a lease, do a walkthrough, AND move by themself with a three year old is INSANE. And then ending the acommodations before I was even out of my home or moved into my new home, let alone the fact that I hadn't signed anything stating I was terminating I said I was "toying with the idea." and I had already paid rent!!! INSANE. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE TERRIBLE.

Negative experience: If I could rate this property a 0 star I would so do it! My mother lives in one of the apartment and staffing sucks! The very first day she moved in the apartment was not even clean as it’s supposed to be. Floors not vacuumed, blinds stained, kitchen dirty just horrible. They wouldn’t even refund her part of her deposit for not coming to a clean apartment as it should. Her apartment roof has been leaking since the start of February 2024 and a maintenance request has been put it. Last thing I knew was that a roofing company would be coming to take a look at it on 2/13/24. We haven’t heard anything since then! I tried calling the property manager Nicole Mushaney which she sucks at answering the phone. I literally had to drive up there today to speak to her because she won’t answer. When I get there and explain to her the issue of why I’m upset all she says is that they are still waiting for the roofing company to get back to them. I tell her that they should be telling us stuff like this and keep us updated because communication is not good with them and how it makes it seem like they completely forgot about our request. Nicole still had the audacity to say “well you guys can always call back for a follow up”. What kind of “property manager” says that? If there’s something wrong with the apartments and they are working on getting it fixed they should be the ones to call back and follow up with what is going to happen to get it fixed, not us! I spoke with the roofing company after leaving and they mentioned how they need to look at the neighbors apartment because it seems like it’s coming from there but they need approval first by the neighbors/property manager. All of this makes it seem so obvious that Nicole isn’t doing her job as she is supposed to! Very bad staffing, I do not recommend this place!!!!

Hailee, I see where you live and it is a smart building, meaning the locks work with a personal code. Maybe you were having a hard time with your code? I also see where you received a 14/30 day of non-compliance of your lease agreement for cleanliness, and instead of cleaning up your apartment, you chose to break lease and move out. It doesn't sound like you took care of this owners property very well, as I see you currently have a balance due of $1750.00. I'm sorry if you don't feel we return calls, we always try to communicate with our residents as quickly as possible. I think your poor review may be based more on the fact that you were violating your lease and we were asking you to correct that behavior.

Negative experience: One of the worst places I've lived . Their apartment complex have roaches and when I asked them to come and spray THEY DO NOT SPRAY , they only lay down sticky traps . When my heat wouldn't stop running they took 8 days to come and look at it . And when they water heater busted and was leaking all over my floor and the hallway that took them 2 days to get to . Then they charge you an outrageous amount of "damage repairs and labor" literally taking advantage of people needing somewhere to live . I'm NEVER recommend them . Century is a much much better place to rent from . Also the front desk lady at ris is so rude ; and lost my first 2 months of rent money orders and were charging me late fees for 2 money orders they found sitting in my "folder" . Just a hot mess all around with ris .

Negative experience: we live in one of their apartments and it is literally infested with roaches. this morning we found 5 in our apartment. this problem has been going on since we have moved in. they come out of the vents and sink. We have informed them of this many times and i’m certain they already knew since they sprayed right before we moved in and we found dead roaches while moving in. they also have not responded to several of our emails. there is no direct line for emergency repairs and they take a long time to respond to maintenance requests. we also have what appears to be mold growing in the bathroom ceiling that we have informed them of and they have done nothing about. the water heater is also super old and constantly changes temperatures rapidly while you’re in the shower which is very dangerous. it literally puts out random freezing water and then random scalding hot water. also the apartment was not cleaned well when we moved in.

Negative experience: They never return calls or answer. We had our heating go out and we called all day multiple times and sent a maintenance request in, and nothing. We finally drove 30 minutes to the office to get an immediate response. My car was broken into overnight (and neighbors claimed theirs have been multiple times) and when I called the office to see if they had any cameras, they claimed they've never had any reports of any breakins and then stopped responding to emails and calls. Very unprofessional and impossible to get anything fixed or handled through them.

Negative experience: It's not easy to get ahold of someone. When you call the message actually sound like someone picks up than pauses and says it's a automated message. There's never anyone that actually answers the phone. It's not a great system for the amount they manage.

Negative experience: I have been renting thru RIS for almost two years and have had the WORST experience ever! Anything that has broke took atleast a month to get fixed if it even got fixed right. Dryer broke which was free when I moved it and when they returned it all of a sudden it changed to a $1.50 per use which was a selling point for me and was took from me with out notifying me. The air went out and took 2 and half month to fix while we were in 110 plus temps. Moral of the story if you have a chance to rent thru some one else go that route!!

Negative experience: I wish I could rate it lower. I lived at a Nebraska RIS managed property for a little over a year, and of all the places I've lived they are by far the most shady realtors I've met. Slum lords is the nicest way I can describe them. They might as well get rid of their phones since they never answer or call back. Maybe then they could use the money they saved to line the pockets of their petty owner. Maintenance smoked in my appartment and left the butts on my furniture. There were bugs similar to bed bugs found and were a constant nuisance throughout my lease. I had an arrangement to break my lease because I got a job promotion in another city, and had I not taken photos religiously of the document that they themselves agreeded to and signed, I'm sure they would have tried to scam me out of our agreement to pinch every penny they could. The appartment is still for lease as of this review and I'm so glad that you people aren't making money off it. Document every interaction with them, or better yet, if you can, just avoid their properties all together. Nothing more than a soulless company full of soulless people taking advantage of anyone they can.

Negative experience: For being my first apartment, it has been an unpleasant experience. This past week being the coldest week Nebraska has experienced I had no heat in my apartment. In -32-degree weather I had NO HEAT. I called and emailed numerous times and get minimal help and response. I would recommend you look somewhere else to live where they care about you as a tenant. Can't wait until my lease is over.

Im actually glad I was turned down. If they take that long to process and jerk you around that much I can't imagine how long it would be concerning repairs or maintenance issues. Fantastic experience: I was looking on marketplace on FB & there was an apartment this company handles that takes an Section 8, LHA, Housing.. I made an appointment to look & the person showing it was prompt in giving me a response.. asking to reschedule and I also got a picture message about what they will or will not be able to do as far as being transparent in letting a person know that these are the restrictions or exceptions to be approved after application.. it saved both people time and money and though I don't rent from the company, I was treated with respect and honesty. That's why I'm leaving a review. Transparent companies deserve recognition. Thanks RIS

Negative experience: In response to kablah renee's review: I am the former tenant and her coworker that she is referring to. If you would like me to share a review from my personal experience, I would be happy to share it. My experience was terrible. Response time was bad, and sometimes I would get no response at all. I would call and be hung up on several times when I was put on "hold". My roommate and I were essentially forced out of our duplex when RIS decided to sell the property and not tell us. There was no communication about this unless we bugged them time and time again. We literally found a lockbox outside of our door for people to view the property when we were not home and were not informed or warned by RIS. I have nothing but bad things to say. It is blatantly obvious they do not care about their tenants at all. They said it themselves: "There is a lot that goes in to property management and the legality of managing property for other people who own it. We do stand up for our owners while upholding landlord/tenant law." What is most important to them is their owners, and not the tenants themselves. 0/5 stars. 0/10 do not recommend. Do not use this rental company.

Negative experience: We really enjoyed the house we were wanting to rent. We weren't happy that we had to pay the deposit up front for them to even look at our application but we did it because we really loved the property. They neglected to tell us and neglected to put on their website that your cosigner has to have FIVE TIMES the rent. The rent itself was $1550 so that means our cosigner would need to make approximately 93k a year!!!! If we had a cosigner with that income we would not be renting!!! Absolutely disappointed and waste of our time. 0/10 Do not recommend if you need a cosigner.

We never assume someone will need a cosigner until we receive and process and application. When a cosigner is needed, the requirements are right on the application. The cosigner needs to make 5 times the applicants share of rent, so if there were two of you, you could have both gotten a cosigner for YOUR share of rent. This is very common to have set requirements for the application process and we stick to those requirements for every applicant. I sincerely hope you found somewhere to live that you love.

Negative experience: Do not, I repeat do not rent from this company. They displaced a disabled person who had no means to relocate. They gave no reason for the displacement whatsoever. She lived there for 5 years, they received a bonus from Lincoln Housing Authority when she moved in (likely 200.00) along with the deposit. She had a crack dealer upstairs from her that she put up with, squatters in the laundry room constantly breaking in...they boarded up the laundry room so she couldn't use it for an extended period of time. The property manager was only seen on the property when showing vacant apartments. When she moved in there were issues mentioned they didn't even attempt to resolve. They charged her for paint 650.00 in a unit she lived in 5 years.. Don't move here they are heartless uncaring people.and in 3....2...1...Kimberly will respond with her defensive responses like you will see in other reviews in stead of doing better and making changes .

Negative experience: We have had very mixed feelings about this company. Some months are good while other months not so much. Our first apartment through RIS was good, at first. Then slowly starting getting worse. So we moved to another place the RIS owns. And that place, with it being more space, was really bad. I’ve never had so many problems living in a place for one year. Edit: I also do want to point out too, at our first apartment when we moved out, we cleaned that place so damn much and made it spotless, just to be charged our entire deposit for “cleaning”. This company is a joke.

Negative experience: I wish that I could leave a more negative response to this failure of an "Realty company". My family and I just left this month on the 1st. We were sent out a 30 days notice for no reason why last month. And now refuses to return our deposit from an previous company that we didn't know sold the building. Also,charging us for 900 plus dollars for a unit that we're not even living there anymore let alone living in the same state as of now. This company should go out of business immediately and never reside over any apartments. If you don't want to get evicted for no reason or ripped off find something else other than this obviously useless company. No one should rent from these people EVER!!!!!!

You left your apartment prior to notice, thus still responsible for the rent. You left your apartment a complete disaster, thus may accrue additional charges, however that is NOT known yet, as a deposit release will not be completed until the proper time. The sale of property has been known to all residents, as we have had several communications regarding the sale. We are following landlord tenant law and the lease agreement. I do hope you have a better understanding of landlord tenant law and your signed lease agreement in your future rentals so that you are better prepared to handle the outcome.

Negative experience: 4 Months back I showed interest in a 1 bedroom apartment on 13th and D filled the Application form out over the weekend. Called on a Monday letting them know I would be dropping the application off along with the $50.00 Application fee plus at least $100.00 partial of the $600 and explained housing authority would handle the remainder. Got told the Apartment I looked at was rented that same day!!! Mind you I'm on disability and I knew I was discriminated against. RIS is very lucky I didn't file a discrimination lawsuit against them. YOU GUYS KNEW I WAS ON DISABILITY shame on you.
