Negative experience: I would not recommend this company. We applied to a property and had a bad enough experience with management alone that we decided to back out. We worked with Edsyl specifically who repeatedly pressured us with deadlines despite us submitting all requested documentation in a very timely manner. She threatened to decline our application multiple times and then later said she just “didn’t think we were interested” despite us explicitly saying we were. She would often spam us with multiple emails, texts, and calls to both my husband and I within a couple hours. And ultimately, she made a mistake in their policy that was not resolved by her, or by Shonni who we also talked with. Edsyl sent contradictory emails when we voiced concerns, the first dismissing us and then a second email 20 minutes later asking us what she can do to fix the situation. Shonni also called and emailed multiple times but refused to resolve the problem (refunding our application fees given the awful communication and mistakes made on their end). This company will pressure you into signing, only to dismiss your concerns. It was clear to me that they pick and choose which “policies” of theirs they want to follow. Edsyl doesn’t seem to know what she is doing, and Shonni was doing her best at cleaning up after her but failing. We did have a pleasant experience with our tour guide Hunter, who was kind and answered our questions despite having no idea what kind of disaster the office had created.

Regarding your application, we sincerely apologize if the pace of communication felt overwhelming. It is never our intention to pressure anyone—we recognize that choosing a home is a significant life decision. However, because our properties often receive multiple inquiries simultaneously, we maintain specific timelines. This allows us to provide clear and timely updates to everyone waiting on the status of a home.
In regards to the application fees, these funds are immediately used to process third-party background and credit reports, which is why they are non-refundable once you apply. That said, we would love the opportunity to make this right. If you see another home managed by PURE that interests you, we would be more than happy to transfer your application and fees to that property so you don't have to pay twice.

Negative experience: Very poor property management in MN. Long wait times to get anything fixed, unfriendly and unresponsive staff, and extremely unreliable for emergencies. If you see the Pure logo in MN while searching for a place to rent, run. I wish I did my research before signing a lease with them.

Negative experience: STAY CLEAR MOLD PROPERTY’S FOR RENT I have been battling with them to take care of black mold throughout my property for months. they will blatantly ignore you and send someone to act like they look at it so you will pay you're rent and not file for a affidavit and put my money into escrow because they will not take care of there building you guys have 2 weeks to complete a maintenance order under state law and you guys always miss, you will be reported. i do not feel good and im sick all the time in my house and i wish i could go somewhere elese but i pay 2000$ in rent. and can’t afford to go live somewhere else plus pay 2000$ for rent. amd at the end if every service they provide even tho its horrible addrian torres want us to give him a 5 star review because he gets a 20 dollar gift card with every 5 star review. MY HOUSE IS FULL OF MOLD ABSOLUTELY NOT. UPDATE keep the shower fan that’s ridiculous the whole pipe broke to the shower made the whole downstairs a rainforest there was SO much water and you guys never got a company in here to mitigate the actual problem. After fighting and calling the city they finally got someone in here to rip out 1 wall but they did not want to keep tracing the mold so they stopped and put up new wall there is still a ton of mold in this building will post address when i move out due to the safety of others problem started 09-19-2025-12-15-2025 Im starting to have severe medical issues and i now have been to the hospital 3 times and i will now bring them to court for personal injury. and i will be filing for a constructive eviction
Hi Aaron, Your work order is in our system and we have had vendors out to the property. While the property owner was unresponsive for approval, the Property Manager did push your request through to get it buttoned up. Reminder to use your bathroom fan so moisture doesn't build up in the bathroom.

Negative experience: SCAM SCAM SCAM..Horrible business practices. We were so excited to apply for a townhouse that was literally across the street from where we had moved out of 5 months ago. Seemed are 5 months of searching and hotel living had come to a end. They collected 60 dollars application fee from three of us just to tell us a hour after the last fee was collected that they regret to tell us that someone has been approved for it other than us. That was 415 pm and as of 1am the next morning, they were still taking application fees to apply for it. That's illegal. Do not use this business. Scam scam scam.

Negative experience: Well I initially put 5 stars but after signing the lease. I received a phone call saying that the wrong rent price was listed and they will need to charge me more. (What) how does that even happen?. Well I was supposed to receive a phone call with the final decision today but instead I got a email that the lease was deleted from my profile and no phone call. It’s sucks because my children were excited to move into a new home. Just do better guys.

Negative experience: Pure has terrible communication and outright refuses to take any action on maintenance requests. Don't expect any emergency service calls because their emergency request line only puts a request in the system, rather than getting somebody out to look at the issue. After reporting flooding, they took two weeks to get a cleaning service to come out, well after the flood was cleaned up. Then after another week before the repair came out, the only response we could get is that there is nothing they can do without seeing the flooding, despite having pictures of where the flooding occurred and where it came from. We have service requests that we put in before Pure took over as our property manager and was brought up again immediately upon notice that they were our new property managers. That was in January and now at the end of August we are still going back and forth to get simple service requests taken care. On top of all this we are being forced to buy packages from Pure, which includes air filters that have yet to be delivered, over 3 weeks after purchasing them, and our property managers still can't even tell me where they are. Pure is by far the worst property managers I have ever had to deal with and if you have them as an option, find literally anybody else. Oh, they also farm 5 star reviews by requesting to rate them 5 stars in return for a gift card. They are buying the high rating they have. Edit: Added the email requesting a 5-star review in exchange for a gift card.

Negative experience: Impossible to talk to a human. The site is an intricate web of pop ups to weave around. Was told I would get a call back, never did. Was transferred repeatedly just to get a showing. They clearly outsource their customer service to another country. They couldn’t answer my questions and had no clue about the property. I literally heard a rooster crowing in the background. Finally got ahold of someone in the country and was told I’d get a virtual tour, never heard back. They are in waaaayyy over their heads and too big for their britches. The obvious product of profit over people.

Negative experience: I’d give zero stars if I could. We informed Pure over a MONTH ago about water damage in the rental property, and they’d done virtually nothing about it. We’ve been constantly reminding them, only to be disregarded and brushed off repeatedly. No work has been done to address the water damage. We’re likely living with mold in our walls and they couldn’t care less. I have repeatedly told them they are in violation of our lease: they just ignore that, refusing to take any level of accountability. Adrian claimed that “we’re on the same team” but teammates don’t treat each other this way. He tried to sweep aside the delay at one point by claiming an accountant closed the wrong work order: an accountant should not have access to edit work orders (that’s a violation of accounting principles), so Pure’s business practices go against what anyone learns in an intro to accounting class. We’ve requested a rent abatement: Maynard has ignored our request, despite asking multiple times over the past month for an answer. He is less than unresponsive and clearly does not care about managing properties, even though that is literally his job title. Pure is unprofessional, disrespectful, and has no concern at all for the renters who fund their paychecks. The high rating is because they beg for a 5 star review after almost every maintenance interaction, it isn’t a real reflection of their work. Avoid renting from them at all costs!

Fantastic experience: Adrian Torres. The roller on my refrigerator drawer fell apart. The first maintenance man could not figure out how to fix it. He called his partner who came over and fixed the drawer. I was very happy with their persistence and the results.

Negative experience: I’ve had enough, never rent from this company. Water leaks into the basement when it rains and it’s been a month and half, nothing fixed or even looked at! I’ve been told for over a month someone will be here to look at it and get an estimate and nothing. I doubt the owners even know water is coming in and probably causing more damage. What a scam to pay a company to manage this stuff and they don’t do anything. Edit since I can’t respond to the company’s comment: you sent out someone to check the plumbing twice after I told you (and the same company told you) it is a foundation issue. I’m continually told someone will call me to come replace the gutters and get an estimate for fixing the basement and it’s been over a month. I have all the communication in emails, it is poor management on your part. You and the owner will be receiving letters soon regarding this issue.
Hi Kaitlin, Our records reflect a vendor was out to the property within 48 hours of your submitted request. A vendor was then back to check all plumbing supplies, sump pump, etc. Another vendor also visited the property to inspect the exterior of the property for estimate. An estimate is in process for approval with the owner (yes, they are in the loop). We have circled back with our team to ensure they see this through to completion as soon as possible.

Positive experience: Leaving a review based on my experience so far as these seems to be monitored. I am in the process of wanting to see a listing of there's, and the closest availability is like 2 weeks out. That just seems very strange to me that nothing can be organized sooner. However, their online system and texting is sleek and on point. Just not sure how they can book a unit they want to fill so far out (because apparently the listing agent isn't available).

Negative experience: I echo all of the negative reviews of Pure property management especially since they got taken over by Pure. Communication was non existent. Costs went up because we were forced to use their insurance / filters / pay monthly admin fees just because they got bought - were charging me incorrect amounts despite following up with someone from their office DAILY for MONTHS, I still ended up losing money due to faults of only their own. Moving out and security deposits were as expected, charged for entire sink replacements when their own employees said its a simple screw fix for $1 at homedepot. Overall disappointing and would never recommend them to a family member or friend strictly based on how unprofessional they are.

Negative experience: Obviously this review is all based on personal experience and opinion. To me, this company is a joke. No effort to communicate or solve problems, blatant disrespect to tenants, and come off money hungry. The higher up staff seems to only be in this line of work to get paid and not to help people. They disrespected our time, and have no idea what their properties look like, let alone what their leases say. They did not hold up their end of the lease on multiple occasions and would do everything they could to ignore us as to not have to deal with the issues we brought to their attention. I am extremely disappointed with our experience. The space was gorgeous and in a great neighborhood, I am sure the landlord is nice, but not worth what we have been put through with the company. Never again will I make the mistake of renting with PURE. If you value your time and money, I personally would not suggest you do, either.

Fantastic experience: I viewed a property via self service. I actually kind of liked it but the one down side t that I was a little nervous walking around the whole property alone so I only looked at the apartment itself. Fantastic experience: My contact with this management company has only been via phone while I'm looking for properties that accept section 8 vouchers. John Roel was very patient and helpful while we searched for Pure Properties in locations around me. Unfortunately, nothing so far, however he let me know that he will keep searching/reaching out and let me know if any property comes up. This has been the best experience I've had in home searching with direct property management contact.

Negative experience: This company is trash don’t rent here avoid them if you ask me go somewhere where you are treated like a person they don’t care about your concern and you’ll have a very hard time getting maintenance to do anything especially if you’re living in a residential property they charge for everything there’s other things they left me to repair on my own I been living at this property for 3 years from the day I stepped into this property things has been falling apart my floors are cracking closet sliding doors keep falling of track doorway hinges falling off seem like they were just gluing things on it’s horrible it’s bad and they wanna charge to fix everything -pure property Minnesota they suck!!!!

Negative experience: I am currently on day 7 of my flooded, moldy basement. It has been impossible to get in touch with anyone and to convince them that this is an emergency. I have had men in and out of my house all week, none of which seem capable of resolving the issue. Every time it gets worse. I have taken off work to be around for their drop ins and then no one gets assigned/the work order gets deleted/the phone line puts me on hold indefinitely. You would think they would want to take care of the property they own and make sure the carpet doesn't rot and mold in their nice finished basement so they can continue to charge outrageous rent, but I guess not. Terrible service, terrible company. Not even to mention the multiple times I have had to get in touch with renter rights attorneys and get legal advice for the times they've applied bogus charges to my account or illegally raised my rent.
Hi Maddie- Our records reflect that the water issue is contained to the unfinished cement area in the basement. Direction was given to turn off the AC during troubleshooting, as we have had multiple vendors out to look into your issue. The vendors home warranty was triggered for a resolve and resolution is in progress. All charges are outlined in your Lease. We have made notes of your comments here internally. Thanks!

Negative experience: I had thanked the Technician, Haro Electric solutions, for doing a good job, having a 2hr window, being professional and cleaning up after himself on my property maintenance meld. I hope whoever is on the other end of my property's meld sent out the message to Haro. Adrian Torres, I am guessing Adrian must be the person behind the app ensuring that the correct tech company is contacted and scheduled. I do not know, I thought that was what the app did. Anyway , Adrian, I am the kind of person who will write reviews to help people out because I know how social media marketing works and as much as I appreciate you including a handy link to the review site page. Please do not ever pre-write the words for me. Thank god there is the ability to edit the post because I consider that fraud. The way it was already written and automatically posted when I clicked the link in the email. I have already experienced Pure Property to be shiesty and dishonest in their dealings with tenants but this is straight intellectual property fraud and identity theft. Negative experience: SCAMERS They promised refunds back in December and now they won't respond to my emails. Paying triple in applications fees and agreeing to the refunds. Telling me it was "in process". Beware - of course everyone is nice in the beginning until you have a problem. One person says one thing the next one says another. Tip - get everything in writing. Watch out for Allejandro who promised the refund, Juan who tried to tell me I would have to pay extra fees in order for my refund to be refunded. And Shonni who tried to deflect the issue telling me it wasn't possible to be refunded my damage deposit but eventually did refund after going back and forth, she made it a point not to verify or confirm anything in her emails a tactic to say they never said that. *********RESPONSE************* No where on the application says that application fees are "Non-refundable." Can you point that out. Still doesn't answer the fact that your employee GUARANTEED my application fees I paid WOULD be refunded. As to the reason why I NEVER signed the lease and decided not to move forward with moving in. The shadyness going on was obvious.

Your non-refundable application fees were processed upon your submission. Following approval, you submitted a deposit for the unit. However, you subsequently failed to execute the lease agreement and take occupancy of the property. Your deposit was refunded in accordance with our established procedures.
We understand your frustration. However, we maintain that our actions were consistent with the terms outlined in our application process. We are unable to speculate as to the reasons for your application and deposit submission if you had no intention of proceeding with the tenancy.

Negative experience: Mr toros, your work order system is hard to work with invalid, but your workers do a good, with that said my toilet is leaking water something is loose fix it, thank you very much.

Negative experience: I did not have a good experience, minor water was out and I called emergency maintenance line which they proceeded to tell me I would have to wait until Monday to have someone come fix it, then they came Monday supposedly and it was not fixed when I got home, they would not dispatch someone and made me wait another day. I have a son and we went without hot water for 3 days and I had to find an alternative play to shower and try to care for my child without hot water. I repeatedly ask to speak with property manager which she never called me. This is against Minnesota state statutes for property maintenance and I had just moved into the property and this was my first experience and it was not a good one I hope I don’t have to deal with this again or I will be reporting to appropriate authorities as a formal complaint

Update: MN law allows for 14 days to fix non-emergency issues, although we complete most requests within just a few days. While no hot water is inconvenient, it is not an emergency.

Negative experience: Showing agent was unprofessional and double booked on tours. He was also in flip flops and shorts, so we were unsure if he was actually the agent at first. Home owners were at the home and the home was extremely messy. Clothes and dirty laundry everywhere. We weren’t impressed. We felt super awkward and extremely rushed. It’s understandable if people are still living there, I get moving out is hard, but at least clean up if you’re gonna be showing a house. It was hard to see the home’s potential in that state. Just overall didn’t seem professional :/
Thanks for your feedback! To allow the most showing availability and least disruption to residents, we do allow up to 3 people to view a property at a time and showings are booked back to back. We anticipate the property will rent quickly, but if it happens to still be available after the residents have vacated, we invite you to come back and experience our self-guided tour experience!

Positive experience: Frank asked for a review with his name mentioned so here's the review. The tour was a self service. I love the self service tours! The house was pretty nice. The downstairs bathroom could of been in better condition. Secret: I didn't even know Frank was the leasing agent until he texted me asking for a review Here you go Frank! Maybe be more personal if you want reviews to mention you provided great service. I'm not going to lie stating you provided me with great service when there was no service from you. Positive experience: add said it was updated and new stainless steel fridge, but When I looked at it NO stainless steel fridge and kitchen and bathrooms were not updated as advertised. Frank was very nice and professional, good experience with him. but was not as advertised.
