Fantastic experience: Diane Twesme was exactly the realtor I wanted and needed to help with my home purchase. I originally reached out to her when I started my initial search, then had some issues, so I had to stop my search, then reached out to her several months later. I felt really bad because she had put in so much work for me already, but she welcomed me back, which I really appreciated. One of Diane's best qualities as an agent is that she moves very quickly. During my first phone call with her I told her exactly what I was looking for. Within a few hours, she had a search set up in the MLS, and I picked all the houses I wanted to see. I wanted to move quickly and within 24 hours, we had tours set up for all 10 homes, back to back. I always felt like a priority for her. What I also really appreciated was that I never felt like she pushed a house on me that wouldn’t work for me. Some agents will try to make you see things another way, and while that may work in some design changes and whatnot, there are some big dealbreakers that I would never want to settle on, and she never suggested anything like that. For example, if I didn’t like a neighborhood, she didn’t try to sell me on it or convince me that the neighborhood was great. Lastly, she really helped me with some fierce negotiations once I found the property I ultimately wound up buying. While she fought for me, she also worked well with the other side and helped me see things from both perspectives. I felt like both the seller and I won, which is really what a successful negotiation should be - where both sides walk away feeling good and not like they gave up everything. She also worked really well in coordinating all parties in the transaction (lender, title company, etc) and even helped me with some of the service providers that I needed (inspectors, HVAC technicians) which made the process so much easier for me. I have trust issues though and I’m always scared of getting scammed, and she never once made me feel like I couldn’t trust her advice or judgment. Now one thing I will say is that Diane is not warm and cuddly. I love that, though, because I’m very similar, but if you need someone who is a teddy bear, she may not be for you. But in an agent, I would think you’d want the best person to help you find your dream house, and someone who will fight for you, and that she is. I’m so grateful to have met Diane and for the smooth transaction. I highly recommend her to help with your real estate needs.
