Fantastic experience: I worked with Liseth Lopez and found her to be outstanding. I had an apartment available and had it listed with Boardwalk and had many agents walk through to show the apartment. One of those agents was Liseth and during my conversation with her, we discussed my goals and very specific needs for this unit. She listened to me and asked if she could post/market it and before I knew it, she was there daily showing the apartment to every candidate. She was easy to talk to and I trusted her opinion and judgement and we were able to have honest conversations about potential applicants and truly felt like she was not just trying to find a qualified applicant, but she was trying to help me find the perfect tenant. She works incredibly hard and some days she’d meet applicants at 7 am and I’d receive emails from her at midnight with those applications. I was/am glad to have worked with her and will strongly recommended her to anyone in search of an agent.

Negative experience: Absolutely Terrible experience- do not go with them I had a very disappointing and unprofessional experience with Jacob McKay of Boardwalk Properties Without first confirming a mutually agreed-upon time, I was told—rather than asked—that a showing would take place at 9:30 a.m. the next day. This was less than 24 hours’ notice. I had already communicated in writing that any entry would need to be after 11:00 a.m., yet this was ignored. Despite that, he arrived at 9:30 a.m., knocking loudly and waking me from my sleep. Entering a tenant’s home without properly coordinating and confirming a time is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. Once inside, the situation became even more inappropriate. The prospective tenant directed questions about heating/AC and laundry facilities to me, the current occupant, rather than to the real estate agent conducting the showing. I am not involved in leasing the unit and should not be expected to answer questions on behalf of an agent who is earning commission for the transaction. The agent himself appeared unfamiliar with basic details about the apartment and looked to me for answers. Showings should be handled professionally: * Provide proper notice (at least 24 hours). * Confirm a mutually agreed time with the current tenant. * Be prepared to answer questions about the property. * Respect the occupant’s space and privacy. *Actually know the features and facilities of the property you are showing. Disturbing tenants early in the morning without confirmed consent and expecting them to assist in the showing process is not acceptable business practice. I hope Boardwalk Properties reviews its procedures to ensure future tenants are treated with basic professionalism and respect.

Vish worked very hard to get us the apartment we wanted often working with us late into the night as we lived in india and was very accommodating of our schedule. Vish also made the paperwork and payment process very clear and easy, we always felt like our concerns were understood and we believe he did everything possible to advocate for us. I highly recommend Vishal Borra as a real estate agent! Especially for International Indian Students as he fluently speaks Telugu and is awake late at night and early in the morning so he is always reachable.

Fantastic experience: I worked with Nicholas Rizzolo to help my daughter find an apartment for a new job in Boston in January. That being a difficult time to find available housing, he found three properties that were perfect and when we asked about two other apartments he got us in to see them that day. He was extremely kind, drove us around to see the properties and went over and above what we had expected after working with other realtors!

Negative experience: Boardwalk Properties misrepresented an apartment to us as pet friendly when it was not. When called out on their mistake, they refused to refund us our broker fee because none of our conversations around needing a pet friendly place were in writing (despite speaking to the realtor in person and over the phone regarding needing this requirement multiple times). Many phone calls and messages left that were not returned. Horrible customer service and an unethical company overall. Will NEVER use their services again.

Fantastic experience: I had to find an apartment on somewhat short notice for September and Enise Davoodian at Boardwalk Properties was the only person in Boston who consistently and promptly answered my messages. I really appreciated being able to text her about everything, and I'm thrilled with the apartment I ended up with. She also consistently had the most up to date information when a LOT of listings were for properties that were actually no longer available, and put in the legwork to look at apartments and building when I couldn't visit myself. I highly recommend her as a rental broker!

Fantastic experience: If it was not for my broker Elizabeth Baez I'd of never found an apt! She helped me every step of the way!!!!! Even when the landlord was being difficult she held herself together and was 100% professional!!!! She even drove to me because I'm unable to drive. Negative experience: Horrific company with scam business practices. I only now feel safe writing this review now that I'm out of the property because they ARE the type to take retributive action against you. Trevor from Boardwalk charged us fake fees and they prey on students who don't know better. Don't give these people a dime. They pressure you to sign a lease, are impossible to get in contact with, and have fake fees. They tried to charge us $1000 to resign our lease. I asked our landlord and she sent me the document via email for free. Truly full of scammers and I never write bad reviews (look at my profile!!) but these people are SCAMMERS and I would recommend everyone to STAY AWAY!!!!

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience with Christopher Joseph. I first contacted him through a listing on southendapartments.com and he was immediately and consistently responsive. The unit I reached out about was too small, so Chris showed me another unit in the same building. I absolutely loved it. It was out of my price range, but Chris negotiated an incredible deal on it, listening to both parties to make the best possible deal. After I had put down a deposit and signed the lease, my roommate backed out at the last minute, and I didn't want to continue by myself into a lease. Somehow, Chris got my deposit back in full!! Still not sure how he did that as there was no legal obligation for the landlord to do so. My roommate and I were looking for specific criteria in a small radius, so when there weren't any more places on the market that we were interested in looking at, we expanded our criteria slightly and Chris started calling around off-market. He found the PERFECT place, contacted the landlord, got us in to see the unit quickly, and brokered a deal where everyone won. He was super professional, patient, and didn't blink an eye when I panic-texted him with real estate questions at 10pm. 10/10 would recommend/have recommended to friends

My group of friends were looking for a house for our senior year at Tufts, and got in touch with Christopher Joseph, a realtor at the company (referred through a friend).
