My customer service experience with Mr. Jean Rosales(JC) WAS TOP TIER! He was very kind, patient and knowledgeable, and always responded in a timely matter. Most companies do not have a live person or office to go to, so I TRULY appreciate this company for offering that. My only complaint is they have ALOT of non Refundable fees on top of your Security Deposit. But Overall the experience So far as been great

Negative experience: Just wondering, how do you reach touchpoint management? I don’t like to send emails when I’m calling about a rental property, and I can never get anyone on the phone which makes me weary of even going through with the process.
Hi Zan, Because we manage many rental homes, we receive hundreds of calls each day, and it’s unfortunately not possible to answer every call in real time. When this happens, callers receive a greeting explaining that email is the fastest way to get assistance or schedule a callback time. Additionally, our system automatically sends a text with a link so you can choose a callback time that works best for you, which helps us avoid missed calls and long wait times.

Negative experience: From start to finish, nothing good to say. I documented my concerns via their RentCheck app of the conditions of the walls when we moved in, yet upon moving out they took $460 for excessive wear and tear of walls. These people are such a joke. The BIGGEST issue, they changed the locks to the front door WITHOUT notifying us three days before our lease ended!! I got home at midnight, tried to open my front door and the locks had been changed. Thank goodness the garage door clicker still worked or I would have been locked out. I have a lawyer working on this because we're pretty confident that's illegal. Just run. These people are ridiculous. Nine days and counting with no A/C upstairs. Run from this company. I showed interest in the house over a month prior to our move in date, plenty of time to get this home ready to rent. Upon walking in, this house was not ready to rent. Disgraceful. The number of things broken, sections of the house not even bothered to be cleaned/maintained. And now within 1-2 weeks of renting here the A/C broke and they have no concern about the renter or their five children supposed to be sleeping upstairs in the middle of June/July temperatures. Run from this company. Never again.
Hello Trista, our team shares in your frustration. It's the middle of a hot summer, over 100 degrees, and after you move in, one HVAC dies. After we fixed that, the second one dies shortly after. I can't even imagine how hot your property must have been. The good news is we were able to convince the owner of the property To spend over $20,000 replacing the units so that this problem will not persist.

Fantastic experience: Touchpoint has been responsive in our communications. There were some hiccups at the beginning but that got ironed out eventually. They placed a decent tenant in place and I can rely on them for repairs. I would hand them my next rental and have made several referrals.

Negative experience: Updated review: Their response is false. We had the “excellent” categorization. They have a lot of scam charges that they request just after signing the application. Non-refundable Lease Risk Mitigation Amin Fee and Deep cleaning fees add up to $1300 after 1 month of “non-refundable” security deposit. Unacceptable. They haven’t filled up their apartment for months because of this scam they’ve got. Further edit: The reply from the property manager is false. After paying the application fee, they request a lot of information including the entire banking history from stripe. We got the “excellent” classification 13/15. Still, they requested lease mitigation fees of $575 from us, which was to keep the landlord “safe”, in-addition to the non refundable one month rent they ask within 24 hours of sending the sample lease. In case of early termination, you’ll go under. you have to give them 2 months notice in writing, pay 3 months of extra rent as fine (thats 5 months), pay $300 as fine and also clean the apartment professionally, when you’ve already paid non refundable cleaning fees beforehand. The 38 page lease document gives the tenant zero room of negotiation, and they hang up on you. Best of luck reading all that lease in 24 hours time crunch they give.
Our screening criteria are in place to protect our rental owners from potential risks, and they are applied consistently to all applicants based on objective factors such as credit score, income, and rental history.
When an application like yourself with lower scores...reflects a higher risk, additional security measures—such as a higher deposit—may be required. This is standard industry practice and not intended to be punitive.
We encourage all applicants to work on improving their overall application profile, as doing so can result in fewer restrictions or fees in the future.

Negative experience: EDIT 6/19: If you cant speak to the topic professionally, the thing to do is to not speak on it at all. Your instructions are not on your zillow posts. You just copy/paste the posting and then forward someone to your website where the posting doesnt exist (perhaps never existed?) Whoever you are you are one person and your tone belies that. Your attitude also gives away your lack of professionalism so i dont think i need to continue here. Thanks for putting yourself out here like this so people can see what kind of place TouchPoint Property Management is. One that doesnt care about the frustration they generate in the renter market (at first glance) and so much worse. 6/18: They listed a house on zillow for a few hours as a treat. When you call them you get an automated system that has more smoke and mirrors than your ex girlfriend. Why are realty companies allowed to be this lazy/rude?
I can't speak for your ex-girlfriends, however....I understand you're frustrated because you did not get an opportunity to rent the home. Because of our agressive marketing, many times we will list homes on the market and they will be leased out by the end of the day. Prospective renters are advised on the voicemail That for a quicker response, they can submit an email which we will respond to within minutes. In this email, we will either reply with the answers to your questions or Confirm a suitable call time when you are available. The renters that we work with have no problem renting our homes quickly if they follow our instructions.

From the initial meeting to preparing the property, to advertising and finding a tenant, I did not have to worry about anything! I was kept in the loop every step of the process. I have many concerns with internet dealings, especially when it comes to account information and the scam culture. Jean Rosales instilled confidence and professionalism. Big difference from some other companies where I terminated business due to a lack of confidence. Keep up the good work , would welcome working with JC again with pleasure!
