Negative experience: I obtained Fort Lowell Realty in 2021 to manage my duplex. In the beginning, I had responsive and communicative property managers. However, from 2021 to 2025 they went through four different managers. I would have one person, everything would seem to be going well and then abruptly they'd tell me someone else was being assigned. In 2025, I was again assigned a new manager, Andrea R. and communication significantly declined in comparison to other property managers I had been assigned. Emails would often go unanswered for long periods of time. Everything fell apart during a tenant move-out at the end of 2025. Before the tenant moved out, I provided the original lease and deposit records to Andrea so there would be no confusion. During the scheduled move-out, the assigned manager was unavailable, and the person who performed the move-out inspection took not one photo. I had to step in myself after tenant departure to take move-out condition photos because Fort Lowell staff didn't do it. The departing tenant was instructed to leave the keys unsecured in the mailbox after 5:30pm, which was very concerning because they didn't set up a lockbox for the tenant to securely leave the keys after the inspection. In addition to all of this, they issued a security deposit refund using rents from another unit to the tenant before fully reviewing damages. Keep in mind I held the deposits, but they did not consult me or provide me with the breakdown and obtain my authorization before refunding the money that I should have provided from the deposit account not use rents from another unit's tenant. To make matters completely insanely worse, the refund included money that had already been returned years earlier to a prior co-tenant! After I began formally requesting proper documentation and correction of the accounting, communication became worse. I sent a written notice under the contract giving them nearly a month to fix the issues. The problems were not fully corrected. After I terminated the agreement with proper 30-day notice, communication completely stopped, they did not follow up with me with requested documentation and stopped responding to my other unit's tenant they were still managing in this timeframe. I have still not received the complete documentation or the remaining funds in my owner account. I also later discovered that another tenant had gone six months without a properly executed lease renewal, and I was never informed. As a landlord, you need clear communication, accurate accounting, and proper handling of deposits. In my experience, those basic protections were not consistently in place. In addition, Fort Lowell's team is extremely unprofessional, completely ignoring clients, being condescending, and just displaying levels of incompetence I didn't know could exist. If you’re a property owner, I would not recommend you use Fort Lowell. In fact, RUN!

When he arrived he was still energetic and ready to get the job done. Thank you Marco Diaz for making us the last stop of the day! The work you do helps everyday life smooth. If we ever have a problem we would definitely request him for his proficiency. If you’re working with Fort Lowell Property Management, ask for Marco—you won’t regret it!

Fantastic experience: Susan was extremely helpful, informative and supportive in assisting our daughter with an apartment rental application process of which I acted as a guarantor. On a side note, my wife happens to be a landlord and has worked with three property management companies here and none have yet to be so quick to reciprocate communication and move the action forward as Susan has in her capacity, I immediately observed.

Negative experience: I do not recommend Fort Lowell Realty & Property Management based on my experience as a tenant. Throughout my tenancy, there were multiple unresolved maintenance issues that existed at move-in and persisted despite being reported promptly and in writing. These included dirty HVAC vents, a broken washer, plumbing and lighting issues, and general cleanliness problems. After moving out, Fort Lowell withheld my entire security deposit for cleaning, routine maintenance items (such as light bulbs, batteries, and HVAC filters), landscaping, and even labeled part of the deduction as a “non-refundable fee.” Many of these conditions were documented on my required 5-day move-in inspection as pre-existing. Unfortunately, this experience felt less like property management and more like shifting normal ownership costs onto the tenant after move-out. I would strongly encourage future renters to document everything thoroughly and understand their rights before renting through this company.

Positive experience: Fort Lowell realty help my family out so much when we were in a bind the process was easy the process was quick and Anna one of the property managers was awesome we had my family had dealt with her for 2 years at a different property that Fort Lowell realty used to own and when I needed to move and looking for another place for me and my family anime the process so much easier it was quick it was thorough she was kind and understanding she was patient and so if anybody needs a place to rent or buy or need a management realty management company to manage their property Fort Lowell realty is the one to do it thank you Anna thank you for helping my family find another home not just a place to live.

Negative experience: My experience with this company was extremely disappointing, especially when things did not go as planned. While everything may seem fine on the surface, when issues arise, owners should be prepared for a noticeable lack of care and poor communication. My concerns to Jacquelina were met with defensiveness rather than accountability, and the tone used was dismissive instead of collaborative or reassuring. In just one year, I went through three different property managers managing my unit, which led to inconsistency and confusion. I would strongly advise other owners to proceed carefully and expect to be dismissed and met with defensiveness if considering them to manage your property.

Fantastic experience: Ana Consuelo is wonderful to work with at Ft. Lowell Reality. Ana is responsive, organized, and truly cares about her residents and the communities they live in. Her professionalism and attention to detail make a big difference, and I’m grateful to have her as my contact at Ft. Lowell Reality Company!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I have rented homes from Tucson to Jacksonville, Florida. We recently found a great home in Green Valley and we were met at the property by Cari of Fort Lowell Realty. (She was even early for our appointment). She gave us a complete tour of the home and answered all of our questions. Very informative. She explained the application process to us and assisted my wife ( after business hours) in completing the application. Her communication skills and attention to detail are first-rate. If you are looking for rental property my wife and I strongly recommend that you ask for Cari.

Negative experience: Don’t rent from them!!! HORRIBLE!! I rented a “luxury townhouse” from them there was nothing luxurious about it! When I got the keys it was dirty smelled like mold turns out there was a flood in there but they never told me!! Now I moved out and they want to take my deposit when I left the place better than when they gave me the keys!!!!! If you’re looking for a place please go to habitation realty very honest people!!

Negative experience: Do not rent through Fort Lowell. I am a current resident and can’t wait to move out. I am paying $1000 and initially thought it was going to be worth the price. After living here for a little bit, I have had so many issues. They NEVER want to fix anything. My dishwasher is broken and they will not replace it, appliances are leaking, there’s mold. They won’t do anything but take your money. There’s laundry on site but it’s never cleaned or maintained so it smells musty and is visibly dirty. When you call in to the office, they are rude and dismissive. This is what $1000 a month gets you, outdated appliances, mold, and leaks.

Negative experience: Have lived in one of their apartments for over 13 years and let me just say they are terrible when it comes to any maintenance emergencys. They had my family and I stay with no air conditioning for over 5 days in the middle of summer. Now our house flooded and we have carpet and aren't accommodating us by putting us in a hotel or giving some of the rent monet back since we can't stay here. It's just ridiculous

Negative experience: I’ve never had any real bad experiences as a renter until this company. They will ignore maintenance requests. They kept a cleaning fee even though the place was never cleaned before I moved in. There were roaches, ants, and multiple things needing to be addressed when I moved in. They increased rent twice and it was nearly double from when I moved in.

Fantastic experience: The maintenance team is awesome. Steven did amazing work with all of my different little maintenance jobs I needed done! He was speedy, friendly, and got it all completed perfectly.

Negative experience: Marco Diaz came over as I requested maintenance to replace a broken belt on the Evap cooler. In my request I also included that the pump has been seized up and requested a replacement. When the worker aforementioned Marco Diaz came over I greeted him and told him what I had sent to maintenance to which he hardly gave a response and wasn't here long. I'd be very surprised if he had replaced the pump because he was here was than he was gone. Be nice if someone would check in the pump to see whether or not it had been replaced. Someone had checked out the cooler that's how I found out the belt was about split. The pump has been seized and took a while for it to begin working was the report. I'm calling maintenance today to see if someone can come back out since there is about another month before the temps cool. I believe that Marco Diaz should speak out to residents and assure them that they're concerns that had been sent to ft Lowell realty has been addressed and taken care of. Fantastic experience: So I don't know where to start amazing amazing amazing such a blessing to have somebody put so much time and effort in such a short amount of time that I needed to have a place she definitely excelled tremendously in my opinion at her job and her cariness for my situation I'm 40 years old first time I lived alone since I was 18 she got me settled in really fast really nice place good neighbors very clean when I stepped into the place there was absolutely no hassle no loopholes nothing to get you skeptical of going forward with this company I don't leave reviews hardly at all I feel like my time is precious but as I get older I realize this is what's precious they're showing the ones that shows you love love back so 100% on this company side when I was married I also went to his company for 5 years never had any problems I never got charged late fees which I might have been once or twice thank you guys helping me through my journey of life the highs of the lows the roller coasters along the way thank you for over with you and especially want to thank Susan she was the main person that was handling the load that I put on her extremely fast she did extremely well because I know I could have been frantic at times very nice always got a text back immediately what can I say amazing people amazing company so far and I don't think things change I haven't in the last 10 years of having them on and off

Chris and Nate and Brianna have also been super helpful. The building is old but completely beautiful and charming. We’re very happy we chose it.

Negative experience: Do Not Rent from Fort Lowell Realty This company is completely unprofessional and exploitative. Any time something needed fixing or updating in the unit, it took weeks—if they bothered to respond at all. They tried to jack up my rent by 48% and refused to sign a new lease. Who does that? There were homeless drug users frequently on the property, and Fort Lowell Realty did nothing about it. Zero concern for tenant safety or quality of life. When I moved out, I left the unit spotless. But when I asked for my security deposit, Veronica H. suddenly couldn’t find it. Only after I threatened to take them to small claims court and report code violations to the city did she magically “find” the money. Fort Lowell Realty, and Veronica H. in particular, have shown me they care more about squeezing tenants than doing their actual job. Avoid them at all costs.

Fantastic experience: Mary Reese at Fort Lowell Realty has been a fantastic realtor—always prompt, professional, and considerate. She consistently replies to emails quickly, which has made communication easy and stress-free. During some uncomfortable situations with the apartment complex, her empathy and support really stood out. Mary handles everything with great manners and a calm, helpful attitude. I highly recommend her!

Negative experience: I'm assuming most of these reviews are fake. Mary is my property manager and it is like pulling teeth to try to get ahold of her. I have been at this property for 5 years because the rent is affordable, but since then my apartment has been set on fire by homeless people, it's constantly being vandalized, my washing machine has never worked properly and has been nonfunctional for 1 week now (Mary won't answer her phone), my kitchen sink has been clogged and is unusable (mary won't answer her phone), it took them 1 month to replace a broken A/C unit during the summer, and the water heater needed a replacement soon after moving in. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had renting. Save your money and your time, do not rent from these people.

Positive experience: I knew it was time for a change of scenery. And when that time came, Fort Lowell Realty showed up. It was serendipity. I was searching for a quaint home and Susan was there to greet me. She helped with the process along the way. I can now say I found my ManCave.

Fantastic experience: Andrea Robidoux has done an outstanding A+ job at providing quick, concise, easy and thorough information and applications for adding our property to her management list of accounts. I contacted a few other property management companies and after seeing how they work versus how Andrea works there is no comparison. Andrea made it very easy for me to become part of their staple of properties that they manage. I will be adding more properties and have already committed to a second property with them as of two days ago that they will be helping me manage as well. Andrea is a top-notch professional, and I would highly recommend her to any family member or friend as the number one person to contact to help manage their property.

Fantastic experience: If I could give 10 stars, I would. Angel Rodriguez is an actual angel. No exaggeration. I had an issue with my door lock, and not only did he show up ready to help, but he found the problem instantly, brought a brand new lock and had everything fixed in what felt like two blinks and a smile. He was kind, respectful, clearly super skilled, and just made the whole thing feel effortless (when we all know door locks are never effortless). Also side note he has a cool hairstyle. I also needed to speak to the women in the office to request him specifically for the next repair I need, and Brianna and Maria in the Tucson office were amazing! They were efficient and very nice! ☺️

Fantastic experience: Just found my new home which I couldn't be happier with thanks to Susan and Ana at Fort Lowell Realty and property management. This is my second time working with Ana who coordinated a quick and smooth transition working with the City of Tucson to utilize my housing voucher. I recently had some maintenance requests and was helped by Marco D. in Tucson. Marco was so friendly, fast, and extremely skilled. Positive experience: Been renting downtown Tucson through Fort Lowell Reality and have the pleasure of communicating with my go-to Jessmar, who is super on top of anything that pops up while living in a historic building (I.e. rusting pipes with leaks, central air mechanical outages, etc.). Even on weekends or evenings, Jessmar responds with reasonable support and puts the engine on full gear getting the specialists out. I have to also commend that Fort Lowell Reality works with 5-star companies for plumbing, heating/cooling. Their teams are always respectful, quiet, unobtrusive, efficient, and they will stay until late into the evening to get the job done. I feel well taken care of as a tenant and my concerns are heard. Fort Lowell Reality uses online portal for payment and there are extra fees associated with payment types, which I don't like or want to support. The system is not easily navigated. However, it allows entering tickets and documenting communication properly. I know from previous experiences that rental agencies primarily serve the landlord and contracts are written in their favor. However, it takes good agents to advocate for the tenant when it is only fair, and Jessmar has the professional stamina to stand up for my concerns. I'm happy with them overall.

Fantastic experience: We have recently moved into an old and beautiful apartment in Tucson managed by Fort Lowell Realty & Property Management. As with all older properties, we had a few issues we raised initially, but these were almost immediately addressed, with apologies. We are now entirely happy. In the last few weeks, the sewage lines have been completely redone for the entire building. I don't know how much the work cost, but it must have cost a fortune (well into six figures) and we are delighted that the owners / building managers are willing to invest so much in the upkeep of the building. We have had no dealings with Chris (the property manager), but in the first couple of weeks we saw Nate, his assistant, several times, and he handled our issues with a sure-footedness I have rarely experienced. He was impeccable in his handling of us and of the issues we were raising, and utterly charming. Our leasing agent at Fort Lowell Realty and Property Management is Susan, who is absolutely lovely and was most accommodating when we wanted to move in a few days early. We were almost decided on another apartment before she contacted us and persuaded us to move here, and we are very glad she did. She and her equally wonderful husband gave us really warm welcome to Tucson. PS. We had a problem with our bathroom wall recently (June 16, 2025) and Mr. Diaz turned up promptly and did an excellent job. Fort Lowell Reality have certainly been very attentive to our needs, including spending an absolute fortune addressing plumbing issues for the whole building.

Fantastic experience: Hello all, Estela has been my property manager for a couple of years now, she is very professional and dedicated, she is prompt in handling all matters, and not to mention she has a great personality, we've built a great working relationship and is a pleasure to work with.

Negative experience: They suck at communicating and completing maintenance requests. Our ac went out last summer for 5 days and they didn’t offer anything to help us out the least they could’ve done was rent out a portable ac unit for us but nope. Our ac went out again yesterday and they claim they’re coming today before 5 but why so late? So they can find the problem and not be able to buy the part because it’s so late in the day. It’s beyond frustrating especially since I’ve lived here for over 12 years. Terrible management.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had the pleasure of working with Mary Reese as our property manager in Tucson, Arizona, and I couldn’t be happier with her dedication and professionalism. Mary is incredibly helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure everything runs smoothly. Her attention to detail and proactive approach make her an invaluable asset. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Fort Lowell Realty is a good management company thanks in large part to the thoughtful, fair, and hardworking Mary Rees. She really takes the time with each tenant she rents to, addressing issues with skill and kindness. When you rent one of the properties she manages, rest assured you’re in good hands. I cannot recommend Mary Rees higher. She’s a shiny gem amongst the dull rocks of Arizona real estate.

Fantastic experience: I had Juan Miller stop by, he was very professional, punctual, and solved my issue within 20 minutes. Extremely satisfied with his work.

Fantastic experience: Fixed our cabinet, added more screws to our cabinets to keep everything sturdy for the future, if anything misfortunate happens with our home, we know who to call now, the worker they sent out, Marco Diaz is a great worker, he was fast and efficient, explained the problem with ease, and did his repairs accordingly, he is a very respectful man, we appreciate his services wholeheartedly.

Negative experience: Very poor management skills along with their maintenance team they cancel work orders just because you’re not on their time they don’t fulfill any work orders and when they finally do get to a work order they're never prepared. Maintenance has to go do three trips to Home Depot just to take care of one thing . They change property managers every 2 to 3 months and none of them ever fill each other in on any information and they expect the tenant to give the new property Manager information that was already given to the other 3 previous property manager. There was black mold in my unit. They never came to take care of it. They canceled my work orders. never even gave me a call back. Sent multiple emails in regards to them canceling work orders and never responding. They said the windows would be replaced. They never did that. It was mentioned it to the property manager said she “put it in her notes”, but nothing ever happened. My initial deposit fee information and application was completely lost! ( I don’t get back anything) The way for FortLowell Realty seems to handle their tenants information, Makes me think they did/do this on purpose! but they have the audacity to charge me a month rent after I mentioned I would no longer be renting here by said date to a previous property manager and she again said like the other “ I’ll put this in my notes” and choosing to stop renting due to all the work orders they did not respond too. None of the emergency work orders ( Black Mold in an area 6ft x 4ft area) windows not being updated due to them being from the 1950’s. Windows were all bent and distorted, which would enable the heat from the outside to come in and over Work the AC unit! They only care for units that are in the upper class areas. This information has been passed on to me from previous people that have worked with Fortlowell realty. It would be in Fortlowell realties best interest to, rehire maintenance crew and new property managers that actually keep tabs and know how to organize themselves with very important documents.

Fantastic experience: The best maintenance man at Fort Lowell Properties in Tucson is Marco Diaz! He is awesome, and works so hard to get the job done!! He’s very kind and patient also!

Fantastic experience: I have been living with Fort Lowell for a bit over a year now and I couldn’t speak more highly of them. Work orders are always completed quickly and they are very kind and accommodating. The leasing office has been amazing as well, in particular I have been working with Susan and she is amazing. She has been nothing but friendly, helpful, and timely in getting assistance. Thank you Fort Lowell Realty, you guys are fantastic!

Fantastic experience: My screen door was in bad need of repair. I was jiggling the handle every time I needed to leave or come in or lock and unlock. Angel Rodriguez was very professional and efficient changing the lock and door know so it opened and closed smoothly

Fantastic experience: Marco Diaz from fort Lowell property Management Tucson was the gentleman that came out to my property to do my maintenance request He's done plenty of work before I've been renting from fort Lowell for over a year this is my second place that I've rented with them anytime we get him as our maintenance guy he always has a great job gets everything done quick and does what we ask and does it right I will be requesting that he does our work from now on thank you I will always request him. He does great work any one who rents threw this company should always ask for him he will always make you feel comfortable with I'm in your home. He always lets you know what he's doing prior to doing an asks if your okay with the way he will do it an always cleans up after him self an bring the trash with so he doesn't fill your barrel

Fantastic experience: The Tech was wonderful. He fixed the window cranks, but once fixed, when able to crank open the window, we found it was unable to close and lock securely without him closing it using a knife to grab the frame. It was clear he did a wonderful job and that the issue was in the ancient window frame.

Fantastic experience: This review is for Edgar Gonzalez one of the HVAC guys who really went above and beyond to get my ac unit fixed. Hes been to my house 3 times in 2 days. He showed me compassion and extreme professionalism. I appreciate everything he did to help me with this cold front. I hope this guys company gives him a free lunch or somethin cool because he absolutely deserves it. I have only rented from this company for 2 months and its been more issues then not, so for him to be as helpful as he was on their behalf was amazing. I am truly grateful and thankful. Fantastic experience: We had A few work orders and were taken care of FAST. Technician Juan Miller was friendly and Cleaned up after his self. And the work he did was wonderful.

Fantastic experience: Susan at Fort Lowell Realty & Property Management is top notch!!! The move in process was smooth and all our questions were answered so quickly. In addition once we moved in she was available anytime we texted. I'm so glad my girls and I went through Fort Lowell Realty & Property Management and Susan because this has been the best moving experience I've ever had!!! 10/10 Would Recommend!!!!
