Experiencia negativa: As of right now if you were to ask me if I recommended this place I would say it’s not very likely. They shut down both laundry rooms without notification. That is just bad communication on the office behalf. It’s very frustrating when you don’t know this and you work 12 hour days and can’t go to a laundry mat without further ahead notice. Very frustrating.

Experiencia negativa: I would strongly advise future renters to proceed with caution. After moving out, I received written notice from management confirming that I was owed a refund due to an overpayment. However, despite this acknowledgment, I never received the refund. Instead, after repeated follow-ups over the course of two months, I was later told that I now owed a balance—without any clear explanation or updated accounting. Even more concerning, I was informed that this alleged balance was sent to collections, despite the prior written statement that I was owed money. At no point was this discrepancy properly explained or resolved before escalating the situation. This experience has been frustrating and concerning, especially given the lack of transparency and communication. I recommend that anyone considering living here keep thorough records of all payments and correspondence. I hope management takes steps to address these issues and improve their handling of resident accounts.

Experiencia fantástica: We have recently moved in to Camino del Sol and we are loving it so far. The amenities are great, the location is great, and the price is very reasonable for the area. We cannot thank Denise enough for helping us make this our new home. She has been nothing but kind, generous, and patient with us. We are so thrilled to be starting a new chapter of our lives here!

Of course, I was watching things on the television on the wall, but I felt this was pretty nice. Staff are always friendly, and you never get hassled with any craziness. My friend stays here, and that's how I got access to the area. We meet in this room to discuss things all the time. ️ She really likes this place. ❤️ I'm thinking about signing a lease here soon. ✍️

The maintenance staff addressed these concerns immediately, and everything was resolved efficiently. Furthermore, I appreciate the clearly marked visitor parking and the straightforward process for updating parking permits for both guests and personal vehicles. I am writing this review because, at my previous residence, my friends' vehicles were often towed when they visited. Here, all parking information is clearly displayed on signs on fences and on the ground. Additionally, the management team has demonstrated a willingness to assist with any concerns. I am very pleased with my apartment community.

I honestly think the office staff cares about us, and the maintenance team is always around, keeping things in tip-top shape. I get that it's tough to keep a place this big in order, but they really do their best every day. An for what I'm paying, I expect my money's worth, lol. I've even told my friends about it, and now some of them are my neighbors!

Experiencia fantástica: This is definitely one of the best places I have stayed in my lifetime. Especially, it looks very beautiful in the wintertime.❄️☃️With the big trees. The apartments are very nice and worth the price. The management team and staff respond to your calls and provide good service. The property is well-maintained and has a lot of amenities, like a day room, a workout gym, Amazon drop-off/pickup boxes, a media center, a business center, on-site laundry rooms, 3 pools, a hot tub, a sauna, and a tennis court with a basketball court. ️‍♀️‍♀️ You could convert the tennis court into a pickleball court. ‍♀️ This apartment is definitely nestled in a nice area of the city, right as you're entering it. ️ Trust me, this area and what's close by are very convenient. ‍♀️️ If you like to go walking, there is a beautiful park just walking distance away. ️‍♂️ You can walk into downtown straight up the street. ‍♀️ It's a phenomenal apartment to stay in, and thank you to the management team for all that they do. I would highly recommend someone needing an apartment in Denton, Texas, to stay here. ✨

Experiencia fantástica: I experienced a problem with my shower and tub combination, as the tub was cracked and, as a result, was leaking water to the floor below. I submitted a maintenance request. What transpired next was truly remarkable and something I had never witnessed before. The maintenance team, accompanied by a contractor, arrived and completely replaced the unit within approximately eight hours. While the noise during the initial two hours was significant, it is important to remember that this was an emergency repair conducted during the holiday season. I extend my gratitude to the management team and staff, and to all the members of the maintenance team and those who work diligently to keep this place operational and safe.

Experiencia positiva: It’s not well managed. Stayed here for almost one year. The heaters and ac is the worst thing I faced, old properties and not maintained well. Rather than that- i feel everything is good. I love the pool, environment, gym, study room.

Experiencia negativa: Update 10 months later: I and my family have almost been hit my many vehicles going 30+MPH and we are NOT the only ones. Children have also had near chances with death. Westdale removed the original speed bumps due to not being up to code 2 years ago, but have FAILED to install ones that are up to code since. There are no sidewalks around the buildings to alleviate the effects of this and we often walk on the very edge of the road but still nearly get hit. Although I love all the other aspects of this community, at this time, I do not recommend moving here until they install new ones. Original review: Don’t hesitate to live here! There are so many things I could say about this community. 1. Everyone in the front office is helpful and responsive, not only that but friendly. 2. The maintenance crew is ON IT and make me feel safe when they are around. All apartment maintenance requests are taken care of within a few days, if not, thirty minutes. These men deserve to be recognized for all their hard work. 3. We haven’t had issues with bugs except one random occasion when it was hot outside, they had pest control out the next day and we haven’t seen a single ant since. 4. The manager is 5 steps ahead of all of us and any time something comes up as a suggestion or need, he already has things budgeted that are scheduled or waiting on approval from corporate to make this community even safer and more enjoyable. 5. We have a unit with washer and dryer hookups- game changer, but we can also use the community laundry room if needed. 6. Living here has allowed me to make working out part of my weekly routine because it’s so convenient and they have the basic workout equipment I need. Even though they don’t have a pull through station, I am able to hook up workout bands safely and use them effectively. I also enjoy using the dry sauna after every workout. 7. So many friendly, playful dogs, my dog has play dates with all his friends. 8. ADA friendly. As someone with a disability, anytime I have needed something to change for my safety, they have accommodated. 9. I’ve made friends with many neighbors and we often invite them to game and movie night and will go to each other’s churches or workout together. 10. It’s close to everything you need. Groceries are 12 min away, church is 10 mins away, the square is 5 minutes away, and don’t forget the 3 public libraries that are equipped with new movies and tv shows on blue ray and dvd as well as an Inner Library Loan for any book you could possibly want to read.

My deposit is taking way longer than 30 days to reach me. Staff in office seem friendly but are just rude. I would like my $250 deposit back please and thank you! ASAP.

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely scandal of an apartment I spoke to Rosa about moving in and I was treated with passive hospitality to make me feel ensure, just to be cancelled the next day of an application that’s 50$ I lost for an application. When I brought in all information that needed to be presented so that wouldn’t happen. They sell you with some amenities like the sauna and etc. but I’m sure they are no much better than there opposing contenders at woodhill apts.

Experiencia negativa: We tried to extend our lease for next 10 months. So we just came and asked for the process to extend our lease accordingly. So we connected with managing person there and asked her help to know the process on June 14 and we did all the necessary signs she told to me. Even I asked her is" there anything I have to do. I really don't know this was our first experience to renew so kindly let us know " she said nothing apart from this. Now we got 500$ extra rent. We came here asking about it there are saying we didn't sign the lease document so it was renewed for one month. So we need to pay 500$ extra and today is my last day if we didn't pay this we need to pay 10% of our rent as fine for late payment. Since it's not our mistake. We have to pay this. We are not able to talk with manager as well. I felt this was my mistake to choose this place.

Experiencia negativa: Moved in this place 2022 of August , without walk through because we are were out of state. The place is old, cabinets in kitchen were coming apart, the central air was a joke ; always had problems with our unit not cooling. As I was bathing my daughter black gunk came out of the spout called maintenance and he said, “ not to worry” the next day we had no hot water after advising this was not normal and I thought the water heater was going out. Our car was towed, but luckily office staff helped us with that one. Maintenance was very prompt but always wanted to Mickey Mouse the work. The stairs are so slippery during storm, I advised the office that I slipped and sprained my ankle they should really consider place non slip caution sticker on each one , nothing was done. Contacted the office in person advising Chris we will not be renewing our lease, this was at least 90 days prior to lease end date. He handed us paperwork that had to be filled out just in case we decide to move before our lease was up. We decided to stick it out and advised the office 30 days prior we will not be renewing our lease. Move out day comes around all is good, turned in keys and said our good bye. When I look at our move out charges we had atrocious charges. We left the apartment in good standing with exception of some minor repairs (blind, drip pan). We were charge “relet fees” in the amount of 1200.00 dollars. After discovering this I immediately tried getting a hold of someone in the office and corporate, no response. I had proof through emails indicating we let the office know within the timeframe. They did not want to hear it or find any solution. What they did was turn it over to collections. To anyone moving in, be warned, they’re very unprofessional individuals that don’t want anything but money.

Upon arriving in town, the Maintenance department repaired everything on my list of repairs within a twenty-four-hour time frame. My apartment was great, I loved it. The staff is wonderful and very friendly, along with being very helpful. I appreciate that because I was moving for out of State. They went as far as assisting the furnisher delivery people to place my furnisher before I arrived in Texas. I appreciate that because the ride took fifteen hours to arrive. Unfortunately, I have to move out D/T my third-floor apartment is very challenging on my bad back. I have spent eighteen years working as a nurse and it has warned my back out. So, my task of groceries and laundry up three flats of stairs every week add more pain and pressure to my back. I give this apartment complex a four star. Thank you so much and continue to serve on the level you're serving the community now. Great job and great staff members. Thanks again.

For me maintenance is always a high priority especially living in apartments. Juan the maintenance man that does most of my repairs on the apartments is top notch! He is always friendly and competent. He explains what happened if there’s anything I can do to prevent next time and what he’s going to do. The work Juan does is always quick and done well I have yet to have any problems. If like me maintenance is on your list of things you look for when apartment hunting then Camino del sol is highly recommend. The complex also seems to pride itself on its aesthetics as the place looks beautiful as well with palm trees and different plants year round. Camino del sol is a 10/10. Experiencia negativa: I’m finally free everyone! After officially moving out and being charged random fees, hahaha (good luck with thinking you’re getting that deposit back!) You’d think it would be a companies top priority to tell you what needs to be done in order to ensure a smooth move out. This was not the case. Sadly they wait till you’re gone and out of the state to send you a email saying all the things you “didn’t” do. Please save yourself a scam. Or someone report this office. My beautiful Camino del Sol in ugly hands. God bless us all. Not to mention when I moved in back in 2019 rent was $950. Absolutely nothing has changed(don’t even have sand in the volleyball court) but now currently $1,150 for the same one bedroom apartment. ***I USE TO BE A 5 STAR SEE WHY I EDITED THIS REVIEW***Honestly this place was bought out by a corporation and now they’ve done nothing but go downhill. They could care less about helping you out or working with your circumstances even after YEARS of being a resident. Im sad to see such a beautiful place be put into such ugly hands. Im so thankful my lease is up soon because the front office and their inability to provide me with active information and services is intolerable. The maintenance men are the best thing about this place. Look anywhere else for CUSTOMER SERVICE, PRICE, and AMENITIES. Happy apartment hunting, this isn’t the place.

These are great homes - good size apartments, and the uncarpeted floors are wonderful, especially with pets! Any maintenance work that needs to be done is accomplished quickly and efficiently by their highly competent and friendly maintenance staff. Any problems I have had have always been resolved quickly, and the amenities are great - the pools are a godsend during the summer! I have renewed my lease through 2023, and look forward to renewing it beyond that!

Experiencia negativa: Well its cool living here, only been here for 2 months. I do have a bug problem like every day theres random bugs popping up. My key fob doesn't work so i cant access things that are 24/7. Parking lot system is ridiculous in my opinion, might as well have assigned parking, there's no parking spots near building 6 and in between.

I’ve lived in plenty of apartments this is by far the worst apartment complex I’ve EVER lived in. I seriously can not wait until my lease is up to get out of here. Pay the little bit extra money to not live in a place like this.

If something needs attention in the apartment the maintenance guys are excellent with their timing! It’s pretty quiet & peaceful. Times fly's since it’s one year later and I renewed my lease! Experiencia negativa: UPDATE: The owners that oversee the Google reviews, responded to my post/experience. I called, left a message and am still waiting to hear from them. I’m not expecting to hear back and have made the decision to avoid that area pocket of apartments. 9/12/2021 In a business of service, the first impression is a lasting one. I stopped by this property after calling and completing an online data card, and did not receive a response within 48 hours. I completely understand the property is busy with "turn"; move outs, renewals, and new leases, but Kenya (spelling) was not very welcoming. The questions I was asking were general questions, and the response were short and stern. She did confirm there were no vacancy's and the third party sites do not know their daily inventory. As a new resident of the area; on this day and time, she was not hospitable. Maybe if you visit after the office opens, it may be a different outcome. It costs nothing to be kind, as you never know what the person on the receiving end is going through.

Experiencia negativa: Do not rent from this company. The apartments are outdated and not energy efficient at all. You will have an astronomical electric bill because they will not update 35 year old AC units, and have poorly insulated walls and windows. We cleaned the apartment ourselves and then lid to have the apartment cleaned professionally on move out and they still charged us back $305 for “heavy smell” which they accredited to our pet cats who we cleaned after every day. Poor service, poor quality, poor prices, and poor management. Do yourself a favor and find a different apartment

Experiencia positiva: I’m about to move out at the end of this month and I don’t really have too many complaints. Maintenance is great and quick. Overall it’s generally a quiet place to live (depending on your neighbors). Only things I can complain about are things that aren’t really the managers/complex’s fault. My neighbor used to smoked marijuana in their unit and it would make the inside of mine smell as well. They have since moved so it’s not an issue anymore, but something to be mindful of. The other thing is that my car has been hit twice by other people in the parking lot while my car was parked with no note. Very frustrating, but like I said the complex can’t control other people so it’s not entirely their fault. Some security cameras would be nice though. After reading another review about the move out fees I’m interested in what I’ll be charged with-will probably give an update after.

Experiencia negativa: Overall had a good time living here for 2 years. Price is good for what you get in a college town. Grounds are nice, maintenance is AMAZING (when the front office doesn’t suspend all work orders for 2 months ), and generally a responsive leasing team. Mikayla and Paula are wonderful to speak with! Biggest complaints are noisy neighbors having loud parties at 1am (called cops twice because courtesy officer could not be reached), as well as neighbors who leave their yappy dogs out ALL DAY AND NIGHT!!, old appliances, and move out fees. The community also has a reward system where you can earn points for gift cards and whatnot. Earn points all you want, the office will not actually send you the gift cards! They will charge you for literally anything as long as it makes money for them. The apartment is cheap and easy to “mess up” just from living in it. The counter laminate stains easy (and they will charge you to replace it, which is literally just resticking new laminate on top). The drip pans are old and hard to clean, the paint on the walls will come off so easily. Full clean even though you spent hours cleaning before you leave (you have to clean it for a new tenant anyway, why charge us??), as well as charging for being a week short on your 60 day vacate notice during a pandemic. Landlord has no sympathy and would not even extend rent dues by even a day despite the ongoing hardship many have faced in the last year. Management switched in 2019 and that’s where things started to get not as great. Chris is rarely seen and only deigns to accommodate for very specific problems, if that. I happily recommended this place to friends a year and a half ago, but I won’t make that mistake again.

Experiencia positiva: Overall pretty good. I had some concerns when moving-in, but they were mostly addressed. The amenities are great and well taken care of. Maintenance is pretty quick! Parking is okay, not the best. I have had no problems with my neighbors.

Experiencia fantástica: Great groundkeepers, good vibes,neighbors, and office. However conveniently not ever available when you call or need something. It gets done and they maybe slow to open things, over other apartments. All in all I would recommend living here yet so happy to be in a house now and not stuck in that bubble.

Experiencia fantástica: Been here for a year with my S.O. and couldn’t ask for a better apartment (planning to renew!) The staff is always pleasant to interact with, maintenance is very quick and polite when we have something wrong with the apartment and we absolutely love the pool and gym. It’s been a great year and looking forward to another! :)

Experiencia fantástica: Best place I've lived in Denton. Staff is responsive. Maintenance responds to issues quickly and effectively. Nice pool, plus the on-site laundry is really easy to use!

Experiencia fantástica: The staff was exceptional, very caring and their general knowledge of all tenants superior to any other location. Having my loved one stay in a location that I felt totally at ease with was a much more satisfying departure, sad but felt at peace. Thank you to Chris especially, what an example of a caring person!!!!

Experiencia negativa: Would not recommend! Parking was always an issue. As a resident, I would have to park across the street at the neighboring complex at least twice a week because the parking was always full. Maintenance employees were very rude and when they would come to the apartment to fix things, it would break again the sane day and they acted as if it was the biggest inconvenience to do their JOB. Office management was nice for the most part and was usually helpful with what I needed. For what you are paying, you can find something equally as nice somewhere else without frustrations.

Experiencia fantástica: I have lived here for over 2 years and this place has been great! When i first moved in i noticed the parking was horrible. But it has improved significantly with the new virtual parking permits. They have also added Visitor markings on the ground so its easier to spot. The laundry mat was horrible in the beginning but they have upgraded the laundry washers and dryers and works great. I have seen alot of improvements over the past 2 years and i gotta give credit to Chris and Paula they have done an excellent job! They do listen to the residents. I plan to live here for more years to come. Thank you guys!

Experiencia fantástica: This is Mrs. Temba. I love the complex in general. I'd like to extend a thank you to maintenance especially Juan and his supervisor. They are always helpful, kind, precise and many other outstanding adjectives. Whatever needs doing they do an awesome job. I encounter Juan mostly. He deserves recognition. It's a great place to live. I don't suggest getting an apt on the 1st floor for obvious reasons. The office employees are helpful and kind as well. Thanks for all you guys do.

Experiencia negativa: Never have I ever been so disappointed in a living space. There were so many times I would dread coming home after work. My ac wouldn’t work half the time so that means sleeping in a 90 degree room with no circulation during the summer. If you live here BEWARE. A box outside would be more suitable.
