Experiencia fantástica: UPDATE JULY 6TH ...I had an issue with my dryer not staying on and made a maintenance request yesterday and today AL is here he always does such a good job he took apart my whole dryer and cleaned it out and then replaced the breaker now it's up and running he also noticed that my front door wasn't sealed so he's putting a new one on now ..UPDATE AS OF APRIL 2023 ...had a major gas leak last week and Kyle the property manager and Al and another plumber were ON IT ..Kyle the property manager has always been nothing but kind to me and Al is so cool and nice so respectful i just had spinal surgery and he was so concerned every time I came to the door and made sure I didn't fall ..they work so very hard al had to get under the dang house which is a super tight squeeze and so gross and dirty under there to fix the issue and another plumber was with him helping him who was just as nice and professional and worked so hard too ...THANKS GUYS FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK !!!!! ....Here's an update since I've moved in on Sept 2022 so my house here is VERY old. Most houses here in Denton are ..And when I moved in here I didn't have much to chose from because everything was getting snatched up quickly ..However I've had to have alot of things repaired but let me tell you they are ALWAYS on top of fixing things even when I'm a pain in the butt and get inpatient lol. When my ac wasn't working correctly they were at my house after hours within 20 min at 11pm at nite ..Nena is so awesome she handles the rent and whenever I have had any issue she's so nice and resolves it with me on the phone .Al the maintenance guy and Jonathan are so friendly and work so hard ...every place you read reviews nobody is ever going to have top notch comments ..idk I like renting from them . Hopefully I'm allowed to renew to something a bit more newer when my lease comes up UPDATE 8/1/2024 had a huge project that needed repaired ..I rent an older house and it need some love and the wood on the side of the house needed gutted and replaced .sure enough Kyle approves the project and has the most amazing maintenance man I call him Mr Paul ..and his helpers come over he knows his stuff and takes great pride in it too . He wants to make sure everything is done PROPERLY ..Kyle the manager even had landscapers come out and trim all the million trees I have and rake up all the leaves .. and didn't charge me a dime ..he's an awesome guy can't say enough great things ..
Experiencia negativa: There is lots of construction going on in Denton near UNT. There is very limited parking. I had a friend come over and the only place to park was in y’all’s lot. They had done it multiple times so we weren’t worried about it. We come out to leave and the car is gone. There was no warning given, just towed the car, and took it to the lot. After making a phone call to y’all’s company we find out that there is a $300 fine to get it back. It had been in the lot for less than 30 minutes and there was no exceptions made on the amount of money it was going to cost. The staff was rude and unfriendly. There was no understanding or grace for it being the third week of college, a new student to UNT, or the amount of construction going on. To say the least I would not recommend using or coming in contact with this company as they do not support or want to better the area.

I watched shocked and appalled as the wheelchair bound disabled african american man cried at the tow truck driver. The poor mans pleas fell on deaf ears as he watched his car get towed away right out in front of him. In the middle of 101 degree tx weather this man had to roll home 5 miles in his WHEELCHAIR to get back home to safety. Please folks I beg you, dont fall for the lease up strategies these clowns employ (majority college kids) & go with someone else.
Experiencia negativa: I’m not one to complain or write reviews about anything. This is completely out of my character but I am warning you: DO NOT MOVE INTO 2603 Bernard St, Denton TX 76205. That house needs to be torn down, total safety hazard. That place is a piece of junk and you will be living in a nightmare. On top of that, Scott Brown knows that this place is a piece of junk, they will let good people live in a piece of junk and then when it’s all said and done steal your deposit for problems that are completely out of your hands. I saw that house two years ago before they “got it ready for move in” for me and they just slapped a fresh coat of paint on it but left all the problems there and then took my deposit for problems that existed before me. I can’t even wrap my mind around what happened to me and feel very much taken advantage of and defeated. It’s not a coincidence that SO many people have been taken advantage of by this company. I wish I would have taken the reviews more seriously. Integrity has a name and it’s not Scott Brown.
Experiencia negativa: Rented an apartment managed by Scott Brown from 2019-2025 (“Live Oak Apartments” 2505 Stella Street) Throughout that time, I had to deal with a bait-and-switch during showing, delayed/no-show maintenance, begging for good reviews on Google, and unprofessional employees. When I first moved in, I had to threaten to call the city/legal counsel because my door let in water every time it rained and they wouldn’t fix it. After they finally came by, the constant flooding caused damage to the laminate and mold, which I was told would be fixed. It never was. I even had an employee berate me for accidentally leaving my router behind when I moved and when I was completely shocked/overwhelmed/dumbfounded by her unprofessionalism, she MOCKED ME. This was reported to Kyle and nothing was done. Not even a simple apology. Additionally, they overcharged me for “repairs” after I moved out. A couple years back, I informed Scott Brown of a leak in my ceiling and was told not to worry about it. It FINALLY got fixed, and I was told they would come back to fix the drywall. They never did. I also asked for the paint color so I could do touch ups. Emailed Kyle twice and he never responded. Now that I’ve moved out, they want $500 for PAINT AND DRYWALL, and another $120 for hauling off items outside the dumpster. This is inspite of the fact that the drywall damage was caused by delayed maintenance and repainting between tenants is standard. It’s incredibly unusual that they would charge a previous tenant for such work, especially considering $500 was the exact amount I paid for the security deposit. Additionally, I wasn’t the only person moving out at the time, so a lot of the items outside of the dumpster weren’t even mine. I emailed Kyle about the billing discrepancies, asking him to reevaluate the charges, and got no response. After almost 6 years of dealing with them, I will confidently say DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. **Follow up to SB’s reply** Hi Kyle! I really appreciate you responding to my review instead of responding my emails. Unfortunately, I have to remind you that there was rain-related damage from the first month that I was renting. The kitchen flooded and I had to call the city to get the “builder” to fix it. You can check your emails to verify my correspondence. I acknowledge the unit was “brand new” over FIVE YEARS ago when I moved in. Unfortunately, as a result of living there, the unit had over FIVE YEARS worth of wear-and-tear. In addition, the “pet odor” was present years before I got my ESA (I assume flooring was put over stray urine). I had told maintenance about the issue because the kitchen was so pungent after it rained and they said they’d return with an ozone machine to resolve the issue. That never happened. Also, I don’t think I need to remind you that the ADA overrides “no pet policies.” I will admit to using the dumpster, leaving furniture behind, and denting the walls/refrigerator over the years. I was more than happy to pay that expense. The issue was all of the piggy-backed charges and your only argument being “you can come look at the pictures” knowing I’m not gonna drive 40 mins one way to get demeaned and look at pictures on your phone. Considering you won’t even acknowledge that Kori/Tori/Lori did a bait-and-switch and how disgusting your employee acted towards me, despite being a loyal tenant for OVER FIVE YEARS, I will not give you that benefit of the doubt or waste my time. Although I appreciated you and Nina’s politeness over the years, it’s unfortunately uncharacteristic of how your company’s employees behave as a whole. I paid your petty money grab fees to get your company to stop calling me and finally cut ties, but you will never convince me to remove this review. It’s been over five years in the making. ❤️✌
Experiencia negativa: Just went drop off the keys and got berated by some jerk named kyle who I guess thought I had the power to make the denton trash collectors come early like yes the trash on curb will be picked up on trash day. Then told me the grass was 2ft tall which is impossible it just got mowed like 2 weeks ago...
Experiencia negativa: My daughter stays 2201 Stella street property and cockroach issue is at its peak, your pesticide treatment is a total failure I am concerned about her health as even after frequently informing you, issue of cockroaches has not been resolved they even move in the refrigerator, food items and allover in the property. It can jeopardize my daughter's health,I request you to bring a viable permanent solution for cockroaches. We are concerned back home regarding the issue of cockroaches. Kindly do the needful on priority basis and solve the issue seriously before any thing goes wrong. It's a humble request as a father. Experiencia negativa: Beware- Total money Grab!!! I lived in this property for nearly 2 years and was charged $4,000 for damages and claims after moving out. A few months later, my friend rented the same place and I visited the property and took to shock, none of the things we were fixed. It’s clear they’re charging tenants for repairs they never actually do. This is dishonest and feels like a scam. Be very careful dealing with this property management. Your response is laughable and frankly insulting. You claim I was never a resident, yet I’ve attached the official bill your company issued, charging me $4,000 for so-called “damages.” Either your system is broken, or you’re pretending not to know me to dodge accountability. Neither looks good on a property management company. Exactly fraudulent charges for repairs that were never done. So where exactly did that $4,000 go? Stop with the copy-paste PR replies and start addressing what matters your dishonest practices.

THE ANOTHER IDIOTIC JOKER KYLE. BECAUSE HE JUST WALKS INTO ALL THE APTS IN THE NAME OF INSPECTION. Experiencia positiva: I only lived in a unit owned by Scott Brown Properties for a year and honestly it was one of the best property management company experiences I’ve had in Denton. Maintenance is reliable and fast, they have monthly pest control, in-unit washer/dryer. My only complaints are that the parking lot is constantly full, they claimed that sealed concrete never needs to be resealed while the floor in my apartment says otherwise, and the countertops were damaged upon move-in and never repaired. Very manageable issues for a cheap and reliable unit.
Experiencia positiva: Currently about eight months into my lease and so far, it's been one of the better apartment experiences I've had in Denton. While you can definitely hear the neighbors (who don't believe in quiet hours) - that's true for all apartments, so it's not a shocker. The biggest issue that we've had are roaches that were there at the start, but after lots of cleaning + monthly bug spraying, they're few and far between. Maintenance is extraordinarily fast. You could put in a request one night and it's fixed by noon the next day. So much better than the pulling-teeth feeling I've gotten from other apartments. The star taken off is just due to the bugs (which are better... but still can be found sometimes) and the parking lot, which is too small for all the tenants to park.

Experiencia negativa: Disappointing Experience with Rude Staff My time at Scott brown property during 2021-2022 was overshadowed by the consistently rude behavior of the staff. From the very beginning, interactions were unprofessional and dismissive, making even basic communication frustrating. Maintenance requests and concerns were often brushed off, and the staff’s attitude made it clear that tenant satisfaction was not a priority. Instead of fostering a welcoming and supportive environment, they created unnecessary stress. I wouldn’t recommend leasing here unless management takes steps to improve their customer service and treat tenants with respect.

UPDATE: We were told back in April of this year that we wouldn’t be able to renew our lease because either the owner wanted to move back in or they were going to sell the property. So we had to make arrangements to find a new place although that was not in our plans. I even asked our property manager was it anything we did and he said no but now I see the place is posted for rent again. So someone lying.
Experiencia positiva: I lived at Centennial Apartments (1126 Avenue A) for two years back in 2020, and it was a great experience! Everything was always clean and well-maintained, and I never had any issues. The neighbors were very friendly, and the application process was simple. I stayed with my friends in three different apartments, and we all loved it. It’s also super close to UNT—just a 10-minute walk to the Union, where you can catch buses to anywhere on campus.

Experiencia negativa: Hi everyone, I am writing here to bring awareness of the looting Scott brown properties does by taking in deposits from innocent students who study at the university of north texas at denton. The property manager Kyle Mullens is very rude and does not respect us after signing the lease till then he acts nicely with us. Their maintenance service takes weeks for them to even resolve the simple items. He then tries to enter our unit every 2nd Tuesday of the month and wants to INSPECT the room according to him. So they charge a security deposit of $600 and then they want the first month rent also part of the deposit which was $1450 for me at the centennial apartments(1126 Avenue A, Denton, Texas, 76201). So we paid a total of $2050 in deposits for a 1 year lease which is totally more than any other communities. When we moved out on time after our lease was about to end we cleaned up the unit super clean and then maintained all the stuff inside without any damages. Then after that they just kept absurd move out charges attached in the pics below saying that they spent $300 on maid service and around $700 painting the unit. They just create some fake invoice and try to pocket our deposit money and they target each unit based on the race and type of people living in that unit.
Experiencia negativa: Don’t ever rent a property from these people. They try and take advantage of college students any chance they get. Phony late charges, won’t make any repairs, property was falling apart, and when my student moved out and their lease was up they charged their account again. When we asked to have this corrected they told us it was our fault and should have cancelled the payment. They wanted proof the transaction happened, like they couldn’t see it on their end, and said they would mail a check later.

Experiencia fantástica: Jonathan (the maintenance guy) is “the real deal”! He gladly fixed everything on my to-do list within hours. Besides the general maintenance, he replaced a ceiling fan and a kitchen faucet. He definitely has some skills.

They charged this and that for things that don't make sense(Including the cockroach infestation that we always complained about, guys no maintenance, no pest control ever). After multiple complaints about HVAC system not working properly (We lIve in a 4b4b in W Prairie and all the rooms won't get even heat/cool distribution. One room gets warmer and warmer like they have to take their shirts off while I live in Arctic Cold), they said they couldn't fix it and wanted me to buy few things myself. They promised to do this and that which they never did. They overcharge for maintenance tasks and I've to complain multiple times about everything to get a reply from them. They charged a fee for broken wind shields (Which broke during a storm and fell down, it's a mistake we took them from yard and keep them safe inside and complained the same to the properties). We live in a cockroach infested home. Cockroaches sometimes crawls on our beds. They just close the service ticket without even communicating anything or doing any service. Literally the worst experience I ever had. Not going to take another property lease from them ever. The only positive thing about them is Ewan. He's so friendly and does things with the intention of helping.
Experiencia negativa: I have been living in one of their properties ‘Pods@Hickory’ since September-2022. Recently, I was looking for an apartment for my friend so I was casually checking their website for availability within my community. There I found that, they are charging $1800 per month from old tenants on a 2B/2BA apartment where I live while the same apartment is getting offered at $1600 per month to new tenants that too with an extra month free with a yearly lease. $1800 for a 2B/2BA was already too high of a rent and now seeing this that I am gonna pay $4200 more in a year than new tenants is making me doubt my decision. Usually other communities, offer good rates to their continuing tenants in lease renewals while here at Scott Brown its other way around. Experiencia fantástica: I moved my son in to a SBP in July 2023 so he could attend UNT. So far, it's been a good experience. All of the leasing agents and managers I met and corresponded with were knowledgeable and professional. The online application process, maintenance requests, and bill pay are convenient and easy to use. The apartment and property are well maintained. I had a few minor items that should have been redone before moving in, such as fresh paint to remove remanents of the previous tenants and some other minor wear and tear. But, the things that really matter, such as central air, up-to-date appliances, in unit washer dryer, secure doors and windows, and plenty of lighting, are functioning as expected.
Experiencia negativa: Do no trust these people when it comes to returning your deposit. Even though we left the house in great condition they still charged us a 750 cleaning fee. On top of that they never even sent anyone over to clean the property as i have video proof via 24 hour survalence (i moved in the house in front of my old residence and i have my camara pointed to the house), they just pocketed the money. I received my deposit check in 30 days however no one showed up to "clean" the house until almost 2 months later after I already complained to them about my deposit being short. When they showed up to "clean" it literally took them less then 45 minutes in the house. Rent with them if you don't want your deposit back. Will be adding videos as son as I can figure out how
Experiencia negativa: I have no idea how this company survives only that it's basically running a monopoly in Denton. I lived in one of their properties for a year, turns out it had black mold. They charged me an additional pet deposit after I had made it clear I had two pets before signing my lease. They will lie, cheat, and steal if they can.
Experiencia negativa: Waiting for a response from them but they gave us a unit that was disgustingly dirty, infested with roaches, covered in grease, had electrical and plumbing issues, there was mold by the sinks, and they charge an outrageous price for Zero amenities. Listed as a luxury apartment but it should not be listed for more than $1300, definitely not worth $1750. Listen to everyone and DO NOT lease with them.

Experiencia positiva: Maintenance workers are sent quickly and they have a 24/7 emergency line available. Not sure what the name of the maintenance worker is but he is a very kind man and over delivers on repairs which I greatly appreciate. I believe he is employed solely by Scott Brown and works on their properties. Will update with his name soon. For pests, I believe they hire third party exterminators and you’re better off trying to deal with pests yourself. For roaches/insects buy pure boric acid powder and a puff sprayer and spray all around edges of house lightly. Also buy high quality poison and place dots of poison on aluminum foil patches around the house in areas you suspect the pests frequent. This worked decently for me after having to deal with the pests myself even after two exterminator visits. Overall the apartment I got on Fallmeadow Court was a good deal ($995 for ~1000 sq ft), but living there takes some labor if you want a good experience. I dealt with rats and roaches by myself and took a few months to get rid of them and live comfortably. Still have some appearances of roaches from time but not enough to ruin my experience here. Electric outlets in home are outdated and have no ground at, you will need to buy adapters to plug in any 3 pronged plugs. They are $1 for 2 at Walmart but they are inconvenient to use sometimes. Make sure to screw them in using the outlet cover screw or else they will unplug easily. If you are trying to save money they have some decent apartments which are a good size for the price. Just make sure you do your research and tour the apartment/house and check for any issues that would be inconvenient if you live there for a year. Also remember that if you have pests during first month of move in it’s the landlord’s legal obligation to get rid of them and you should not stop calling until they solve the issue.

Experiencia fantástica: I have lived at an address managed by Scott Brown for a little over a year. I have heard many people complain about the customer service, or lack thereof. My experience has been very different. I have received excellent customer service from everyone. The maintenance staff is always quick to respond to requests I submit and are always knowledgeable about the issues. I want to give a shout out to Evan who is usually the person who responds to my requests. He is always respectful and always asks if there is anything else I need done. Thank you so much for the outstanding customer service always!

The maintenance guy name Nathan and the older guy was very good at the job and they kept me informed when I was not home at work they were in my home and when they were done ,that gave me a great piece of mind I appreciate them for doing that,
Experiencia fantástica: I've lived a lot of places in Denton over the last 10 years renting, and I usually would never expect to have a quality renting experience with such a large company. So far, I am very pleased with their efficiency, communication, and attention to all details of my move and maintenance requests. I like that the maintenance guy texts me when he arrives at my place, tells me what he is there to fix (peace of mind he's got the right issue), and let's me know when things are done or asks for some follow up information. My place has had some electrical issues which were annoying, but I don't feel like the company is putting off repairs. Jocelyn in the office is also very responsive via email. Like I said, pleasant surprise given how many other apartments are run by basically slum lords!
Experiencia negativa: Referred a friend here only for him to get the run around. They are not Veteran Friendly at all. They had a unit in what was literally next to a roach motel! This place is terribly operated. I was wrong to think they would operate in a professional manner or have any properties worth applying for. They said he was initially approved then later not for all these erroneous things like credit & income. Which he has both. It’s just shabby & shady.
Experiencia positiva: For a first experience with renting an apartment. Overall was not what I wanted it to be. Everytime I had an issue with something, they would shrug it off. Their policy states no smoking inside the household (cigarettes, cigars, Marijuana, etc.). We lived upstairs, our old and new downstairs neighbors while living there were college kids and they would smoke Marijuana. Which I do not care if you do that but when the smell comes through the vents into my daughter's room. Then that becomes an issue. We notified Kyle and other members of the office but never seemed like anything was taken care because they kept doing it and never got kicked out. Also, once we reported it, the downstairs neighbors retaliated and harassed my wife... we reported it and nothing from that happened as well. So, do with this information what you will.

Clint the maintenance guy was incredibly informative and helpful. Seriously y’all. I could not have come out of this situation happier and I look forward to 2 more years with them!

Best part, I never have to wait more than two days to have someone fixed in my apartment. I've told all my friends about this company as their prices are also very affordable for singles and college students! 10/10 recommend!
Experiencia negativa: Rented a small home for a few years from Scott Brown. When i was getting ready to move out, the leasing agent was extremely rude and was harassing me, making demands for me to tidy up and make repairs so he could show the house before I moved out. He harassed me for owning 3 vehicles (the lease stipulated 2, but I had a 2 car garage with 2 of them inside and did not see why it was an issue.) When I moved out, they ate my entire deposit and said I owed theman additional $1300 (All charges were heavily inflated for example "smoke detector batteries: $40") I had also paid to have the house professionally cleaned by a maid service after moving. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE CROOKS.
Experiencia negativa: I applied and the website says in 24 business hours someone would contact me the next day I called some lady told me it take 5 business days before the application can be process between that time (the day i applied through the 5 business days) someone updated the profile page of the property I applied for. On the 7 business day I called and ask for my $50 application fee back and I was told I couldnt have it back she also stated that they was swamped. No I can't understand if they swamped why they had not once but three times updated the profile page of the property i wanted. So where I am now is coming up with double the deposit for the property I am interested in but I am pretty sure something gonna be up once I do..being that the double deposit is required before they can hold the property.
Experiencia negativa: I have been waiting a long time to post this. Here are some things you potential renters need to know about Scott Brown, and about their rentals on Lovers Ln in Krum. PLEASE read. 1) You will here and feel loud music and bass every single weekend through the night usually until 3 am. What they fail to tell you is that there is a big event center insanely close by. It looks like a barn, so unless you already knew it was an event center you'd have no clue otherwise. Woke my children up all the time, even with their sound machines on. Not only will there be music from the event center; BUT also the residents near there love to play their own music too. They do not care. 2) When we moved in there was melted crayon splatter stains on the cabinets, paint splatter where it shouldn't be. The paint job was just horrible in general. Nails were left in almost every wall and just painted over. Don't even get me started about the mounds of someone else's hair I had to clean out of each bathroom tub AND sink. 3) The dumpsters are CONSTANTLY being filled by everyone in that area that isn't supposed to be using them. And oh yes, Scott Brown will blame you, the residents for all of it. When I say full I mean it. People have even put the hood of a car in them before. 4) The water might possibly shut off for DAYS at a time. It happened way too often. There will be no notice given whatsoever. You'll end up contacting them because they don't reach out. And no, they will not help in any way. 5) They'll fix things. Just for them to mess up again. I'll end saying this, we were IMPECCABLE renters for 4 years. Never missed a payment. Never paid late. Rarely called maintenance, and when we did it was because of the insanely outdated appliances not working just completely breaking. And somehow they decided that they are keeping our entire deposit+ asking us to pay them even more because they need to paint/repair walls, a door knob, and baseboards. Oh and the air filter needs to be changed (which they routinely come by and change but all of a sudden now we are being charged for it?) Do y'all remember the horrible paint job and stains on the wall that were there when we moved in? Yeah. I have picture proof of all of that. They have those pictures. I sent them in when we moved in. Yet they're still keeping our money and charging us more. I have rented my entire life, and this was the worst experience. I strongly advise you to choose a different area and property owner.
Experiencia negativa: Moved out of a duplex because Scott Brown doesn’t do anything except collect your monthly rent check. The carpet was 9 years old and infested with bugs and the cheap plastic tubs were cracked and when asked to fix the the repair We had to wait 3 months without a shower before they finally showed. The repair was to slap car bondo on the tub and spray paint it. I fixed the house, cleaned everything including carpets and repainted to get my security deposit back and I did because there was not much they could charge me for, but nonethesless I feel bad for the new tenants of the duplex because Scott Brown rented the house again without fixing or replacing anything! Do not rent with them.
Experiencia negativa: I'd like to preface this by saying that SB Properties asked me to leave a google review, so here goes: This has to be, hands-down, the worst experience I've ever had with a rental company. I moved here in August of 2020 from out of state. I contacted the company, got approval for the unit, and paid the deposit (I interacted with someone Michael). One week before my move-in date, I get a call from Michael saying there was a mix-up and the unit I applied for was unavailable. He offered me an "identical unit" that was "newly renovated" and offered a $50 discount off the monthly rent. I accepted because it was literally a week before my move out date and I didn't have time to search for a new unit. The "identical unit" was an entirely different floorplan in a completely different building that looked nothing like the apartment I agreed to rent from them. Let me start describing the unit by describing the roaches. They're everywhere, I see them multiple times a day, sometimes they're as big as my palm. When I called the property manager about it, he said "It's just a part of apartment living." Thanks, Kyle. Thanks. This unit was terrible, all in all. There was grime on everything, paint splatters everywhere, floorboards are curling up from the floor, exposed carpet nails and the ceiling leaked in three different places within a month of my move-in. All of the electrical outlets were loose and ungrounded (which is a fire hazard). The carpet in the bedroom had some giant stiff spot that smelled like cat pee. On top of that, the bedroom didn't have any windows - another fire hazard. Cabinets had weird sticky black spots in them. The "on-site" laundry was located in a different building that was over a block away. Anytime I asked SB for anything, I constantly had to prompt them to follow through with the request. On top of that, the property manager, Kyle, was just insanely rude and unprofessional in every opportunity - very clearly didn't care about his tenants. I'm writing this today because I just learned that this building is no longer managed by SB. No advance communication from SB on this, just a paper notice taped to the door. Never, ever do business with these people. Just awful, through and through, in every conceivable way.

Experiencia fantástica: Well I've been with Scott brown for going on 5 years now and the house we are in now was needing some things taken care of, we'll nothing would get done right away but come to find out the person who was in charge of relaying the message to the maintenance wasn't doing their job and no longer works there and when we let the right people know it was taken care of right away. The guys that came out where great and got the job done super fast. I'll keep doing business with SBP as long as they keep up the great customer service.

Everything was done quickly so me and my family would have a home just in time for Christmas in 2016 and we’ve been here ever since. Nena is so amazing, compassionate, understanding and flexible if you just communicate with her she’ll do everything she can to help you. Jocelyn and Al (my fav maintenance guy) always come through for me no matter what I need and it’s always done quickly and beyond my expectation, and Kyle is awesome too! This is the best management company I’ve ever worked with and plan on being here for many more years to come. Experiencia negativa: Do not rent SB’s apt or house. They are rude, unreasonable charging and you will never get your deposit back no matter what. They don’t care about the residents at all and would brake into your doors 7 in the morning and yell at you. LMFAO, thank you kyle. Worst agent ever and worst property ever. DO NOT RENT THEIR HOUSE.

Experiencia fantástica: They are very professional and responsive. I spoke to Scott Brown initially and he was friendly and transparent about the whole process of setting up an account with them. He connected me to Kyle Mullens. Kyle Mullens is very responsive, professional, and accurate on tasks to perform. I have been busy with my work and personal life, and I was worried that I wasn't keeping up with the process, mainly things that I would have to do or figure out, but at the end, I came to understand that Kyle already finished everything for me. I really just had to locate the keys for him, and he has done rest of the work to rent out the place really quick and neatly. I have no complaints so far and I would definitely recommend this property management company and Kyle especially.
Experiencia fantástica: We moved in back in June of 2020. We had some issues with the A/C right after we moved in. I contacted them and they had an A/C tech out the next day. The tech told them the whole a/c system needed to be replaced. So within a few days, we had a brand new system put in!! Samantha was great. I called just a month ago and spoke to Kyle and let him know we needed a bigger home, and he was on the hunt asap. Also we all know 2020 was rought, and Nena who does the payments is a lifesaver. When things got tight, I called her and she was so understanding and helpful! She even was able to drop our late fees! Nena was empathic to our situation, and never made us feel like we were wanted criminals!Thank you so much Nena for bring so understanding!! Yall rock!!!

The staff is friendly and proficent. Kyle, the property manager, has been very accessible and is always happy to help with questions/requests. Maintenance was always prompt and helpful. The offices were always polite and respectful. They made it very possible for me to pay for my own living space and go to school. For that, I am incredibly grateful.
Experiencia negativa: It was the worst experience ever of my life, being an international student when I first rented an apartment with them, they were okay. The apartment had bed bug issues and we tried our best to sort it out. When we couldn't, we called them up for help. They did not mention the price when we asked, but they sent a guy with little spray and stuff after two days. We were charged with $433 days after that. On mailing them asking about this bill, we got a rude reply. International students like us who lost are part time during the pandemic and were hardly able to pay the rent were forced to pay the 433$. Don't rent their apartments I repeat. Worst place ever

They always sent maintenance over quickly, treated us like humans when we were late one day for rent, and gave us our full deposit back on our home. I recommend 100%. Very good experience with them.

Recently, we had a small issue and I called to put in a maintenance request. Jason came out and was super professional, well spoken, and just over-all nice, friendly, and cool. Shortly after, Samantha called to follow up and make sure everything was good. She was friendly and very easy to talk to. I thought the follow up call was a very nice touch to show that they care. It made my day. Both of them are tremendous assets to an already great company. Based on my experience, I would recommend to others to go with Scott Brown Properties and I plan on being with them too. Never had to wait too long for maintenance, always gotten an answer when I had a question about my lease, and they have been really cool about everything during the COVID-19 pandemic. Jocelyn really take her time to answer all maintenance related questions via email/phone and will try to do anything she can help. She always has been very good at her job of when I’ve requested repairs or replacements. She is very nice, helpful, and able to answer any questions I had in a timely manner. Again, I appreciate the SBM Assistant Jocelyn for going out of her way to make sure my A/C is running during this crazy pandemic. Overall, it has been an amazing experience with entire SBP team. She even came in on Saturday night and sent her a text letting her know that it was being addressed. Experiencia fantástica: Just finished up working with Troy with Scott Brown Maintenance. He is a great guy and fixed all the issues we had. He helped get our fence back up and replaced one of our locks. He even went out of his way to fix a bar (for lack of better terms) on our walkway. A really nice guy and is great at his job.
