Experiencia negativa: Had a not so lovely experience with a maintenance man named Darrell, who works at the Outlook apartments. He came to my door, banging like the police, which scared my daughter and I into the room hiding. after that he came back a couple hours later banging again saying how he is maintenance and if my house doesn’t quiet down with music, he is going to be calling the police and reporting me to the office he then proceeded to be violent screaming he’s maintenance and we better listen to him or else. For one how unprofessional he doesn’t even work at the apartments we live at for two who is he to come to my home in a threatening manner in front of five children and guests that were here. My house wasn’t even loud. We have several neighbors who can be loud I get that but for someone who works for the company to continuously carry himself like that isn’t ok. He then called the office and made up a bunch of stories to which I told the property manager exactly what happened and how there were several witnesses here who saw it she said the next time he comes in a violent manner like that I need to call the police. I have already made a police report online to cover myself as I am scared of this man and how he reacted in front of my children.

The Tech training a new 20 something - could not figure out the issue!! It has now been 45 Day's,with a broken AC/Heat unit -5 days ago Allegiance did override the unit to get me AC,but I now have no heat,the other issue is the unit is running 24//7 for the last 6 days. I want my unit fixed Now.. I have been advised to call the city,state and an attorney.. What can you do ASAP. Larry Patterson 1877 El rancho Dr, Sparks,NV apt#90 It only took 72 Friggen days and the company to be sold,to get my AC unit fixed.. I am seeking a lawyer.. I hit 93+ degrees in my apartment... numerous times ... Thank goodness Mission Rock took over the complex

Experiencia negativa: Currently living at lakeview apartments. I’ve had MOLDY walls and a leaking ceiling since February 2025. The leasing office refuse to answer to me email, face to face, and calls. They’re incredibly rude even though my apartment main bedroom is FLOODING at the absolute moment there is any sprinkle of rain. So as of today May 13th, 9AM I have woken up to my bedroom being half flooded for the 7th time in the last 2 months. I called the lakeview leasing office and the lady was rude again. And said “I don’t know just call the emergency maintenance line and they will help you I guess I can’t stop the rain?” And as for Marissa the new manager of lakeview. She hasn’t responded to my emails in months. I go into the office often to complain about my ceiling and roof and they said they will not be seeing me due to “a busy schedule” never had this issue with Lynette!! And when I call I have to call at least 8-10 times until they actually pick up the phone. Incredibly lazy and rude staff, I pay $1600 a month and my ceiling is caving in. Along with the maintenance manager at lakeview, he’s lazy and rude. Never has a answer to when or how things will get fixed. I’ve called Kromer and it’s only “I can send this message off too… we will get back to you thanks!” And they never do. Screw Kromer and all their properties, my apartment is inhabitable !!! There’s mold and flooding at any moment of rain and they don’t wanna help.
Experiencia negativa: I lived at Spanish Oaks/San pebble apartments for almost 3 years now and its been a terrible experience since day one. They hire people who do a half job on maintenance and then try to charge you for it in the end. The unit I was in had so many issues that it was ridiculous and any time I try to get them resolved they do nothing about it or tell us to do it ourselves. We had rats in the unit and dead ones in the wall which made the apartment smell horrid. When we asked them to do something about it they just shrugged it off until it got worse to the point we HAD to be moved to another unit. The carpet was so old and crusted that it literally hurt to walk on. They call it "remodeled" but have water damaged cabinets and walls, uneven floor surfaces, crooked knobs, broken drawers, cracks in windows which get jammed often (a fire hazard honestly) and incomplete window coverings. Everything is painted over, including the things that shouldn't be like countertops. I've never seen painted countertops??? Like they bought regular interior paint and used it as countertops. Thats not even durable. Some of the outlets are not even in the right place. The switch breaker was placed by stove and not by the kitchen sink which doesn't make sense to me? Doesn't even sound up to code. Needless to say that I will not be renewing my lease with them. The managers are careless and the maintenance folks don't do their jobs correctly. Will be reporting to BBB.

Experiencia negativa: my ex and kids are living at Lakeview apartments in Reno Nevada apartment 1107 talk to your manager The thing that they can improve is getting rid of the Cockroaches that we moved in too. we also have a letters of other apartments saying that there was spraying for roaches. we went to the office they're saying that we brought them. We lived at these apartments complex for 3years moved twice never had cockroaches and moved no cockroach the last two apartments, after the third apartment there's a lot of cockroaches. also all the floors were uneven. She gave office 14 day notice and still to this day nothing's fixed even my oven is taped up and she put a work order 2 to 3 days ago. Unprofessional just want to move out but she got stuck with this apartment unsafe living and my kids also mention my kids And nothing has been solved except they keep spraying. Unsafe living also would love to provide you with first day pictures. also some work orders we put in last Saturday. Also she has no income. So how does that work.
Experiencia negativa: What can I say, I used to live at TRT I paid rent, even when I go behind, I always got it paid up. I was evicted and locked out of my apartment even though i paid and got caught up the day before, I had to drop money orders in the slot. Every time I tried to get access to my apartment to get my stuff NO ONE was available. I don't know where my stuff went. The biggest thing I'm pissed about is my wife's ashes. Now I'm being sued for 10 grand. Are you kidding me? Repairs I've complained about for 6 months, never got fixed and I'm being charged for it. Roaches galore. If you remember that movie from the 90s called Joe's apartment, it was close to that. I will be filing a counter suit.

Experiencia negativa: They are completely useless my apartment flooded and all they have to say is they will text the group chat with update this is not the first problem. They have server water damage on most of there apartments and never get any of it fixed they just cover it up and move on to another apparent no regard for me or my family and the animals I have in the apartment that have to suffer and I can’t even sleep in my own bed and so I asked the apartment what can they do and all I got given back was rude and disrespectful people. I pay way to much in rent for an apartment that don’t give anything back like Theo two pools that was supposed to be open and we pay for is still yet to be open the laundry room is berly functional And they keep raising the rent. In my opinion if you can stay anywhere else and I mean anywhere else do it you will Not regret it.

Experiencia negativa: I lived in the sandpebble/Spanishoaks complex from 2014 to end of last month first few years were great til my husband passed away same year of covid maintenance was a joke had upstairs bathroom leak in my bathroom never replied to request had lights in kitchen I couldn't get Dom down to switch bulb they refused internet and direct TV didn't work most of the time they charge an arm and leg for the units but don't take care of them cannot use laundry units or mail rooms being broken into took me a while to get out im out of state don't rent there

I live at Riverwood a d the elevators in both buildings have been shut down for 4 weeks. They work but they do not meet all the recent code changes, so the State has closed them. To date all we have heard is it'll be a few more days! Many of us who live here on the second and third floors are trapped. We cannot do laundry, get our mail or take trash out as all those are on the grou June 18 update. Check your phones no one answers and we do not have extension numbers nor names of who to talk to at Corporate. This is so unprofessional I need to make an appointment to see Elyse or Tess and neither is in today, Monday !!! Really??? I have received notice on past due rent....i will be paying Friday June 21 and my daugnter has spoken to Elyse about this. I now want to find out which of the three amounts I've been given is correct!! I have receipts that don't match the ledger print out a signed lease that doesn't match the Court filing papers. There is a huge problem in the accounting procedures. Please give me an extension number to talk to someone or give me an appointment to come t o the corporate office.

Experiencia negativa: AVOID!! This company has brought nothing but a miserable living experience for the last 2 years. My time deployed overseas had a better comfort of life. You can’t rely on them to show up for maintenance. They will just scheduled you the same day and show up saying the not on you door they put 2 hours ago is a 24 hour notice. That’s not what 24 hours means. To top it all off they don’t allow you to have 3rd party internet providers. It’s only the ISP they provide. They are now struggling due to their contract failing with said ISP. Leaving multiple complexes without internet for more than half a week. How this company treats tenants should be classified as inhumane.AVOID AT EVERY COST.

Experiencia negativa: Property is plain dirty over flowing trash cans literally dumpster in the middle of the street laundry facilities all super dirty I do laundry every Saturday laundry has been filthy for weeks lakeview management need to step it up they don’t hesitate to over charge you but they sure do hesitate to clean the property and fix up your maintenance needs. Plus I called Stephanie at the corporate office about a problem I had at lakeview office she never returned my call. So unprofessional shows how much they care about their tenants so disappointed.

Experiencia negativa: I live at the Sandpebble/Spanish Oaks complex. Our experience here has been horrible. If I could afford to move I would and it definitely wouldn't be to another Kromer Investment property. The first apartment at this complex burned while we were on vacation because according to the inspector of the tenants upstairs. They refuse to give us their information or even their insurance information so we could file a claim and then want us to pay for damages that were already paid for by insurance. Paint,replace carpet etc. They also want rent on an uninhabitable unit. Due to the fire, they moved us into another apartment that was set for remodel that was not clean. When we complained about stuff needing to be corrected, we were told " were not going to fix it because this unit is going to be remodeled " Moved us again into a newly remodeled unit and charged us for cleaning the other unit even though it was cleaner than when we moved in. We has Spectrum in our first apartment and was very happy with it. Now we are charged 80.00 per month for our free Direct TV and internet that works sometimes 2 or 3 days a week. We are not allowed to change who we use and there is no technical support available when the office is closed. In the past seven days our service was down Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Started working on Monday morning so no need to call technical support. Stopped working again on Thursday night after 5 when the office was already closed, started working again Friday morning so once again no need to call technical support. Come home Friday and guess what service is down again after 5 so no technical support available. When asked if Kromer Investment owns stocks in Direct TV and that is why we are FORCED to use a service we don't want. I was told by their "customer service agent" Yes they do. Worst living experience we have ever had.

Experiencia positiva: Hello - I’ve been a BristlePointe apartment resident since 2016. There has certainly been a turnover in maintenance. But recently we met Mike Potter and he is AMAZING!! Mike is new to the maintenance team and what a fantastic man he is! Mike showed up ON TIME for our maintenance issues, wiped his feet upon entering, was dressed appropriately and very clean! Mike was professional and super friendly too. He fixed both my issues promptly, all while explaining the reasons why. He was even very kind to dog and made an effort to stop and pet him. It was actually a pleasure to have Mike in our home and Kromer should be very proud to have him on staff - what an asset! Lastly, Kristen Morales, the property manager is also trying very hard to make property improvements and seems to genuinely care about the residents and overall community. Big thanks for her stellar efforts too.
Experiencia negativa: Property manager Kristen Morales is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful towards tenants who state issues that relate to the apartments. Stating that she does not care or stating that it is out of her control. I do not know why a property manager does not have control over the property they manage but I also am not into real estate of any kind.

Experiencia positiva: My experience with this renters was unbelievable and awful... Went to the office paid $100 money orders. I got an email says I was qualified. I asked can I see the apartment? They said " not ready yet after renovation within a month or sooner." After couple weeks I received a call saying "it's ready come down bring $1200 sign the lease." Two money orders I went there the following day. Fifty pages I said is this an escrow Can I see the apartment??? She said " it's ready." After signing everything I got the keys. Going up the fifth floor it took me forever... Elevator button's lights are not working... I exited the whole way stinking OMG. Dark no oxygen smells Bad. Dirty all the doors left and right are cracked and dirty. I entered the apartment not that they haven't renovated it they haven't cleaned it... Dirty looks like a junkyard. I went back I said give my money back. I don't want this apartment. Manager comes tells me "we can't give you money now we have to send a check in the mail within two weeks. And only $1000 " they screwed me $300 for nothing. I don't recommend this apartments to anyone... Discusting place.

Kristen At Bristle Point does Not return calls and claims to have mailed it out last week. I would have received it by now. I requested it emailed, have gone to her in person yet still no satisfaction. My next move is Corporate, there is no excuse. It has now been 2 months!! I have been lied to by Ginny re “processing a full refund of $399”. I get No reply! I have called corporate, No reply! Today I was told I have a balance, Never! And No notation re Ginny’s promise of processing the refund! I am beyond furious! This is the worst business practices I’ve ever encountered!

Since Grizelda left we have had a series of property managers who cant be bothered with doing their jobs. We finally have a great maintenrnce team. They have gone above and beyond to get this building in shape. I received a notice in September that my lease would be up end of October. On Oct 2 I informed the office I would sign another lease. They said we'll get back to you. Still have not heard a word. So the property manager us just as useless as the last 7 years managers. I cannot afford to move but I do not recommend this place to anyone else.

Onsite management is minimal at best, non-existent at worst. This could be a great complex to live in if owners would invest in upgrading property and addressing safety issues b/c its conveniently located by a scenic river, a hospital and not far from a police station with easy access to major freeways. This diamond in the very rough could use a major polish...

I've seen a lot of changes in the office staff over time, but the staff we have now is the best group I've worked with. The property manager Turie is hard working and diligent about taking care of any issues we've had. I hope he stays for a while.
Experiencia negativa: They charged me a 300$ penalty per month to be on month to month and maintenance issues were outrageous and the maintenance team was constantly being turned over. Not to mention my previous apartment with same company was charged 450$ for paint in a1 bedroom.

Experiencia negativa: Very displeased with the Villas and their ability to handle residents in a timely manner. The Villas at Keystone Canyon are all about you when you're trying to move into a unit on their property. But after moving in you're just another resident to them. It takes weeks to get work orders completed, upon moving in my apartment was not cleaned, carpets still had serious stains, dishwasher was leaking, and my AC unit leaked water all down my hallway. When I confronted the apartment managers of my issues and my overwhelming desire to be placed in a newer unit with little to no problems. They said it wouldn't be possible to change units and that I would have to be patient to get the things in my apartment fixed. Ultimately my roommates and I waited 45 plus days to get things repaired. The Villas at Keystone claim to be "luxury" apartments, I firmly disagree.

She informed me she would be speaking with Ginny about Kromer's fraudulent move-out charges and that someone would get back to me. No one has gotten back to me. EDIT 8/14/22 To the Kromer Management: I've tried contacting you multiple times this past week at the number you gave, and no one answers. EDIT 7/28/22 I called earlier this week and talked to Ginny. We spoke earlier today, and she told me that these exorbitant cleaning and repainting fees (which total $1100) are “actually considerably less than we would normally charge for a 1-bedroom apartment”. I don’t believe this, because no one would be renting their apartments if they knew they would be charged $1000-$2000 to move out. I’ve lived in many apartments in several states, and I’ve never lost a penny of any damage deposit until now. This company operates in ways that are wildly unethical. Their leasing agents mislead tenants about damage deposits and move-out fees. I'm leaving this review for Kromer instead of the property I rented from because I believe my experience was not the fault of the leasing agents but Kromer. DO NOT RENT FROM A KROMER PROPERTY! At the time of rental, I made a $500 security deposit. When I moved out, I was shocked to find out that not only was my entire deposit taken, but an ADDITIONAL $565. Included in these fees were $224 for a "deep cleaning" and $350 for an "entire repaint". My partner at the time and I did zero damage to the walls. We hung art and there were small holes from that, but it seems absurd to charge $350 to repaint the entire apartment. We were extremely misled about these charges when we rented and when we were getting ready to move out. ***I seriously question the validity of the positive reviews for this company. Almost none of the positive reviews have any likes, while all the negative reviews are liked by many***

Experiencia negativa: Tenant @ Truckee River Terrace Apts. when viewing the property, they left out the fact that a month after moving in you had to go stay in a hotel for 8 days due to renovations. Nothing mentioned before signing the lease. $25 a day per diem on a gift card that I never received because that’s the way Megan rolls over here. Too bad I had to give one star because that’s being quite generous to these yahoos. I wouldnt rent a tricycle from these people.

After move out I received a bill for total upgrade of the apartment that I rented for four and a half years. I do not recommend this place.

Two years after move out and they STILL can't supply a CORRECT move out invoice. Staff was, and apparently still is, inept! Living at one of thier properties was a nightmare. Cheap construction, ac didn't work half the time. I could go on. Just don't risk it, stay away from Kromer investments! I'm at least the second nurse I know who's been screwed by this company! Stay away!

Experiencia negativa: I had the displeasure of renting at Kromer's Carson Hills location. The apartments are cheaply built. There is not nearly enough parking for the number of units in the complex. The package hub is also far too small so half of our packages were delivered to the office instead. When that happens, the office never lets you know; it's just up to you to track down your package. Finally, Kromer will use your deposit however they like. Before we moved we asked the apartment manager how much they would charge to clean the unit if we didn't do it ourselves. He lied and told me $265 (pretty expensive right!). He then turned around and charged us $384.95. When we disputed the charge, the supervisor at Kromer offered an apology. Unfortunately, that apology didn't have the same value as the $119.95 the manager conned us out of. They also charged us $375 for a "partial paint job," even though there was very minor touch up needed. Shockingly, when we disputed that charge the supervisor at Kromer told us she would have charged us even more for the paint job! That should tell you all you need to know about their dishonest business practices. How much you receive of your deposit isn't tied to their cost.. It's up to the whims of whoever is settling the account.
Experiencia positiva: Rent increase a bit too high for the size of apartment, master bathroom has limited space with a stand up shower stall, very small. Takes forever to get repairs actually completed, but the view is nice...unless it's fire season!!!
Experiencia negativa: Kromer investments is one of the worst companies to rent from, doesn’t matter which property it is. The entire staff is rude, and not very helpful. Getting in contact with them about any issues is pretty much impossible. I’ve called separate times for different issues, never receiving a call back or even acknowledged. This is the kind of service you can expect if you rent from one of their properties. Garbage. I currently and unfortunately am finishing a lease at Riverwood apartments(the absolute worst apartment complex) and sorely disappointed with how they treat me and the other tenants. They leave messes and do not turn off your lights when they’re done. All together a very sad excuse for what they call apartment living. If you want to rent from this company, don’t. Turn and run. Thanks.
