Experiencia negativa: Good luck getting your deposit and money back. All they do is ignore your emails and hang up on the phone. Bunch of college kids who run the leasing office I would run from this place. Was told 30 days and I’m still waiting on my refund.

Experiencia fantástica: We just switched over to new management. The Maintenance team was always helpful and respectful but now their supervisor Bryan is at this location now, and he is a really cool guy who processes the knowledge and the tools to make any problem go away. He makes sure to keep you updated and does his work in a timely fashion. Also a very out going guy who makes it a little less awkward when you have a person you’ve never met come into your apartment

Experiencia negativa: This was the worst apartment experience I have ever lived in. The front desk workers were always rude and judgmental and the two I always talked to didn't even live in the apartments. I moved in in October, so all my roommates go there before me. One of my roommates lived in the unit for three years and knew the previous tenants. Apparently the two previous tenants kicked down the door, so my door never closed properly. When I moved in my carpet was covered in stains, as well as the mattress protector, and my toilet had mold growing in it. They did not even vacuum the carpet before I moved in. My roommates asked them multiple times to clean the room before I moved in, and they never came to clean the room or asses damages that the previous tenant caused. I managed to get most of the stains out of the carpet. When I moved out they charged me over $900 worth of damages I did not cause. When I dispute the claims they ignore me. THIS PLACE SUCKS. Just move to ParkPlace it is so much better.

Experiencia fantástica: even with the limited amenities the unr gym is right across the street and is way better than any apartment gym fs. really convenient getting to class some of the people i know have a 20 min walk. rooms are a bit nicer than a few of my friends apartments. was a nice upgrade from dorms

Experiencia fantástica: I had the unfortunate circumstance of a lease falling through at the last minute and had to find a new home for senior year. Brittney was the nicest person that could’ve helped, she made sure that all of our needs were met, helped us through the entire process and was so kind when we were scrambling to figure something out. She was so patient with us and did everything she could to make sure all our needs were met. Monique and John were also very kind and helpful in getting us situated for our new place.

Experiencia fantástica: Just recently transferred to Truckee Community College and I really didn't want to stay on campus. It didn't help that I could find housing on campus anyway. Happen to see a flyer about this student housing property so I decided to check it out. When I entered I was greeted by this girl named Brittany. Experiencia negativa: If you’re thinking about living here, look next door instead. My sister lived in Park Place (basically right next door) for three years in a 4x4 with her friends and had a MUCH better experience. Her apartment was bigger and even had a balcony, which was rare, but even aside from that, everything about the complex was just better. They have a pool, hot tub, walk-in-closets, attached bathrooms, larger rooms, legit gym, VR golf, a theatre room, and a proper mailroom with lockboxes — all stuff that 1551 either doesn’t have or doesn’t maintain. Her experience there made me realize I made the wrong choice. Yeah, Park Place might be a little more expensive, but honestly? You’re getting way more for your money and avoiding a ton of unnecessary stress. If you take a look at reviews from other students who’ve lived at 1551, you’ll see a pattern of issues. A lot of people mention being charged unfairly at move-out, even after cleaning their apartments thoroughly. Maintenance requests are slow or ignored, and move-in conditions are often gross — things like mold in the washer, leftover trash, or dirty floors. The trash room is regularly called out as being filthy and smelly, and the elevators and hallways don’t get cleaned consistently. The “amenities” are pretty underwhelming, and several people said they felt like management just didn’t care. The place might look nice in photos, but the day-to-day experience seems like a headache waiting to happen.

Experiencia negativa: I tried leaving a review, it wasn’t a good one, on Apartments.com, but when I went back it wasn’t there. I thought I had left the 5th review, but today it says there are only 4, and I don’t see mine. Point is, the reviews on those other websites seem suspicious, as they are only 5 star reviews, and no negative reviews. Don’t trust those websites, read the reviews on here, they seem more accurate and in depth of students’ actual experiences with this property.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve had a pretty bad experience with 1551. I lived there from Aug 2023 - May 2024 and was charged for unjust and unfair cleaning and damages fees. The staff was alright and friendly, the location is good, but they will squeeze every last dollar out of you. Some of the 5 star reviews on here are from people I know who didn’t even live at 1551, they must’ve been told to leave a good review in order to receive merch or for a giveaway, so please read the reviews that go into detail about their individual experience to get a better understanding of what you’re getting yourself into.

Experiencia negativa: There's some things that are definitely lacking. The hallways are pretty dirty, as are the elevators and in my case, and my room and bathroom were a sight for sore eyes on move-in day. However the staff are really friendly and if you're willing to do a bit of a deep clean, the living room and kitchen are actually pretty nice. 07/25 Update - Recently decided to drop a star due to the pressure tactics used by the management company in regards to resigning my lease. Roughly 3 months after I initially moved in, I was informed that if I did not renew, my rent would be increasing to ~$800 a month were I to lease the same room without renewing. Now looking at the website, the same exact floor plan I am in is currently listed for cheaper than I was paying this year.

Experiencia negativa: TLDR: My roommate and I were charged nearly $950 in cleaning and damage fees despite having dated photos of pre-existing issues and a very clean move-out. I was charged $200 + $100 deposit, including $60 for bathroom cleaning I clearly did shown in the photos. They ignored my photos because I didn’t do a formal move-out inspection, which no one told me about. Management was hard to reach and slow to fix problems — like assigning us to different units despite co-ed requests, only resolved after my mom called corporate. If you rent here, take move-in photos, request a move-out inspection, and confirm all agreements in writing. Also, common areas like stairwells were often dirty, including vomit, and the trash room stench lingers into the hallways. Full Experience and Detailed Account of Move-Out Charges and Management Issues: My roommate and I were charged nearly $950 total (including our deposits) for cleaning and damage fees after moving out — even though we had time-stamped photos from move-in showing per-existing issues, and I personally left my room and bathroom very clean (with photo evidence). I was personally charged with about $200 + $100 deposit, and her the rest. The bathroom photos below were taken on move-out day, when I handed in my keys, showing it was thoroughly cleaned; yet I was charged $60 for "general cleaning", when I clearly did the general cleaning. I also uploaded the required move-in photos of pre-existing damages through their system, but was still charged for some of those same damages. When I handed in my keys, I even asked the front desk if I needed to do anything else — they said I was good to go/all set. Later, when I tried to dispute the charges, I was told my photos didn’t matter because I didn’t request a formal move-out inspection. This was never mentioned to me. Additionally, when my roommate and I first signed our leases together, on the same day, side-by-side in the leasing office, and submitted a co-ed living request, we were surprised to find ourselves placed in separate single-gender units. Despite calling repeatedly for weeks (to the point the front office recognized us by name), it wasn’t resolved until my mom called the corporate office — and it was fixed the same day. This experience made it clear that management was difficult to reach directly, as we were never able to speak with a manager despite repeated attempts — only the same front office staff, who couldn’t provide solutions beyond telling us they were “working on it.” If you’re renting here: - Take dated photos at move-in and upload them through the portal - Request a move-out inspection in writing before leaving - Double-check that your leasing preferences (like co-ed living) are actually honored before move-in - Confirm any verbal statements from staff with follow-up emails Every dollar matters, especially for students — I wish someone had warned me. Additionally, I’ve included a photo of vomit in the stairwell that I had to jump over for about two weeks before it was finally cleaned up. This highlights ongoing maintenance and cleanliness issues in common areas that are beyond tenants’ control, contributing to my overall dissatisfaction with management’s responsiveness. (The smell from the garbage room was pretty bad on any given day.)

Experiencia negativa: This is the worst living experience I have ever had, I don't even know where to start. If I could give negative stars, I would. The entire facility is so gross. The garbage room is the worst thing I have ever seen and I have to plug my nose if I go near it. The elevators are SO dirty and smell. Someone threw up in the elevators and got off on my floor and threwup all the way down the hallway and in front of my door and when I asked for it to be cleaned the staff said "it is a safety hazard for us, we can't clean it" But it's a safety hazard for me because I live there. After 4 complaints, it got cleaned. They also do nothing about noise complaints. We have put in multiple noise complaints, and the front desk says they can't do anything about it. When I moved in, there was mold in the washer that would not come off, no matter how hard I scrubbed it, so my clothes smelled like mildew. The washer broke and locked with my clothes in it, and when maintenance came and fixed it, they left a giant puddle of water on the floor. You have to pay the entire first month's rent, but can't move in till half the month is over. When I moved in, it was apparent there was no cleaning done because there were candy wrappers on the ground, food on the ground, hair everywhere, and pink mold coated the shower. The rooms are so tiny you feel like you're living in a shoebox, and the walls are thin. If I wanted to hear a man playing video games all night, screaming at the computer, I would have lived with one. They advertise amenities, however, there are no amenities anyone actually cares about, like a pool. The rooftop has 2 barbeques that rarely work and some chairs. The parking is $150 per month, which is INSANE. But I knew that when I signed the lease. The garage was broken for over half of my lease, but I still had to pay for gated and secure parking. The staff parking was also right behind my spot, and every single time someone parked there, I was blocked in my spot and had to ask the front desk to move their car. For $150 per month, I should be able to get into and out of my parking spot without any issue and have a fully functioning gate for security. These 5-star reviews are definitely from people who never lived here because they are comically incorrect. I pay over $1,000 per month for a 3x3 that I am incredibly disatisfied with and I urge you not to live here no matter how bad you want to be within walking distance of the Wal.

Experiencia fantástica: I would just like to say that prior to Greystar taking over this property (when I lived there it went by a different name/company) I can agree with the 1 star reviews, however since then, I have seen and heard nothing but the absolute best! From the hard working and passionate managers to the kind and genuine staff, you absolutely cannot find a better place to live. I would also like to add that one star reviews are typically from delusional residents who caused issues created by their own inability to maturely handle easily avoidable situations, don’t listen to them….this property is amazing :)

Experiencia negativa: Apartment 704, horrible flatmates; my friend is living with two flatmates who behaved incredibly racist towards her and threw rubbish in her room to make her lose her deposit. Complaints to the landlords were ignored and she was vilified and transferred on baseless grounds. Five star reviews aren’t even from people who live there, just ones who have toured the place.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience living here… until I didn’t. Positives: The staff (postal/reception/maintenance) are friendly and helpful. They offer free events providing a sense of community. Gated apartment to ensure restricted access to the building to residents and delivery services. It was simple and clear communication to move in. Close to UNR. The shared study communal space on the second floor is excellent especially when you have meetings and work in different time zones or need somewhere to study that isn’t your apartment. The facilities inside the apartment are excellent. The windows open and are very breezy with nice views and a decent rooftop seating area. Negative: My two flatmates have been passive aggressive with their behaviour deteriorating towards me and escalating to what seems to be bordering on physical aggression. My concerns and safety were overlooked and it came across that GreyStar made it seem like I was in the wrong and I should move out and it was my fault I’m experiencing these issues because I blocked them after months of my flatmates complaining to me whilst doing the said thing they complain about. Essentially one rule for them, a different rule for me as if I’m their prisoner. I’m not sure what narrative was shared to GreyStar by the other roommates but it seems that bullying someone out of their apartment is acceptable behaviour and an additional financial burden if you follow through with moving out. If you’re an international student, 8000 miles away from home the least you would want to have is to feel safe in your own home. This is most likely a rare instance if you choose to rent here; but just be wary if this is how they handle issues, I am even more concerned of how they would handle more serious flatmate issues. I hope to have a continued somewhat pleasant experience living here… but only time will tell. The only thing that really makes up for the bullying I endure is the competitive rent and the overall nice nature of the staff who work here. Update 3 to 5 stars: Greystar implemented a force transfer of my tenancy to another apartment within the building and whilst it seemed like I was the individual being blamed for the circumstances, I understand that their hands are tied in this regard. However, the staff at 1551 were considerate of my circumstances and preferences and now I get to live in an apartment where I hope to feel safe and have a more pleasant time living in. I see this force transfer as an opportunity to enjoy the apartment I pay for and feel safe living. I appreciated that they took into account my religious and personal preference to live with only women. I would rather live in another apartment, than avoid living in my apartment for most hours of the day due to the negative environment it was for me. The transfer did not involve an extra financial stress for me which was very considerate.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT LIVE HERE! Rented a 4x2 with two friends and had a random roommate in the fourth room. The random roommate moved out within a couple of months but left the bedroom in such a bad state that we ended up having a bug infestation. We told management about the issue and they tried to blame it on us for "leaving our windows open" when there is a screen to keep bugs from coming in. They took months to take care of the bug issue and while that was going on, one of the shower doors in our bathroom literally broke off the wall so we only had one shower between three of us while still paying for two. Management took 9 months to finally fix that so by then we had decided to move out. 6 months after moving out they then reach out to us with a $600 bill charging us for the most miniscule issues in the apartment, such as a Fifteen51 folder left in one of the bedrooms which they charged $15 for and a children's sticker stuck to one of the doors which they charged an additional $25 for a so forth. They are really running a scam here but there are so many better places to live. This apartment is not worth the "luxury" price.

Experiencia negativa: Do not live here! First off, the cleanliness of the hallways was horrible the entire year. Trash was constantly overflowing into hallways leaving a disgusting stench that could be smelt inside the units. Furthermore, the unit I moved into was poorly cleaned resulting in multiple hours of cleaning for me and my roommates upon move in. We were also charged a massive cleaning fee post move out even though we told that cleaning out unit was required. On top of all this, the process for just about everything was tedious and oftentimes took weeks to get insurance and maintenance updated.

Experiencia negativa: This apartment is a health hazard. From the time we moved in to the very last day. The first day my roommates and I I moved in, there was food in the pantry’s left over from whoever lived here last, dust, dirt, random leftover items, writing all over a bathroom mirror. The hallways are disgusting. I have to run from the corner of the hall way to my room plugging my nose so I don’t throw up due to the smell from the trash room, carpets, walls in the hallway every single day. And this smell has been here for months now. The trash room is so disgusting full of bacteria and always full can never even fit your trash down the chute. One of my roommates can smell the trash room in her room as we live right next to it. Seriously unsafe to sleep in. I’m sure a motel 4 downtown is cleaner than this. My room, is smaller than my three roommates rooms, but we pay the exact same price? Could not even fit the desk they gave me in my room and had to tell the office to get rid of it since it took up the 20 inches of walking space I had in my room. I mean seriously small, almost unlivable luckily I’m a smaller person. They are trying to charge me $214 for a desk replacement, when they told me that maintenance would store it for me. Also mind you these POS desks are worth maybe $15, $200 for a tiny table that you could find for free on the side of the road? Seriously? Feel like a bull in a china shop whenever I’m in my tiny room. Also my window is smaller than all the other rooms? Make it make sense. My arm span almost can touch both walls. We have had a broken washer for two weeks in the beginning of our lease, a broken disposal, pipeline, and dishwasher. Also, countless times their have been parties on the second floor of underage minors who don’t live here attended, smoking weed, fighting, breaking bottles, destroying the building I pay an arm and a leg to live in. The parking garage door worked for maybe 3 months out of the whole lease. I mean seriously the only word I have for this apartment is asinine.

Experiencia negativa: My son’s washing machine broke before spring break and here it is, the end of the school year, and it’s still not fixed or replaced even after multiple calls, emails and visits to the office. The repair man left the washer disassembled with sharp screws and parts everywhere and hasn’t been back for three weeks.

Experiencia negativa: Safety/Additional Lack of Hygiene : Is this apartment safe? No. The only safety that is provided is the front door of the apartment locking after six pm. There is no security gaurds here or really any safety measure in place. Multiple times in the previous month, there has been hundreds of people coming to the apartment for parties that are held (not by the apartment, held by random people) on the second floor of the apartment where people drink, smoke, etc and play music that can be heard up to the fifth floor at least. After these parties, nothing is said to the residents about anything that is being done to prevent them, therefore showing a lack of care from the apartment, and the first and second floor of the building are often trashed for days then the mess is cleaned mostly (besides for the throw up on the blue chairs on the second floor next to the tv that has been there for over a month). The top floor is also commonly trashed and furniture up there is broken but never replaced or fixed ("because if we replace it, it will just be broken again by the residents that live here") therefore showing a lack of willingness to fix the broken furniture at this residence despite acknowledging it. The second floor has rarely ever had any soap/paper towels/toilet paper in the bathrooms due to it not being replaced by staff. Amenities: The listed "amenities" online are misleasing as the only ammenities residents have been able to use this year are : private study rooms (which often remained unclean with full trashes and coffee stains/shoe prints (from the parties)), rooftop terrace (that has cigarettes holes in the couches/joints and cigs on the ground/trash from residents scattered across/broken grills that have never been fixed and do not have any gas/broken fire place that has not been replaced this year), trash chutes (only able to use half the time), electric car charging stations on second floor, bike storage (have never seen this said bike storage), group study lounge, and a business center/some emergency services (not entirely sure about this as we only had a security officer the first couple weeks that stayed on the first floor). For the unit itself, we were provided all the amenities listed under "other amenities" besides only two of my roommates receiving cable. We used to have a coffee machine but the coffee machine was never filled up and would always have dirty and gross chonky water in the tray, a dirry trash that was often full next to the machine, and coffee grounds on the floor in front of it. There's also a vending machine on the property that has incorrect prices labeled for the drinks. Parking: The parking garage is a convinient way to stay out of the snow but for a hefty $125 a month (which an employee said was going to increase next year to $150 - not sure if this is true). For the first almost two months, the parking garage was not being closed by the apartment issues which caused issues with parking as people who don't live here would park in paid parking spots and would force residents to wait for tow company to come remove them before they could park in their spot. They did fix this aspect and now the gate remains closed which prevents issues. The parking garage door on second floor always remains open. Overall, is it worth the price here? No. This place has many ongoing issues that need to be fixed and the price is too expensive here to be dealing with these certain conditions. In addition to all of the issues living here, the other reviews are right and I wish I listened because my mirror also has the "spray painted" looking lines on it, there is a $5 service fee to pay the utilities, the utilities don't make sense as the previous month was the highest bill we have received despite most of the roomates in my unit being gone besides for one which was there for less than two weeks and could not have been the reason for such an increase in utility price, and theres many issues. Check the photos provided under photo section as it shows evidence of the lack of management here.

Experiencia negativa: Want an honest and transparent review of 1551? Move In- Lack of matinence of the apartment : Here is the experience I have had while living here: I moved in on august 18th and received my keys (happy and expecting this place was going to be great as it is a bit pricier here) however, I walked into my apartment and immediately knew something was off. We were told cleaning would be conducted before coming but it was painstakingly obvious the apartment had not bothered to even walk into the unit before moving people in (which would a massive shock as they allowed no one to move in early due to "cleaning"). When walking into the apartment itself, it was apparent that previous tennants had cats because they was cat pee on every surface, the chairs, the couch (which had been shredded horribly by the cats), the oven, fridge, walls, washer, dryer, door, any surface you could think of. Not only is that a massive biohazard and massivemy disgusting but when walking into my room, I noticed the smell of cat litter hit me like no other. There was approximately 20 pee stains across the floor (still there and not handled by maitinence) on the carpet which had been festering in the room (as the past tennant had left the window open and the smell of cat pee worsened with the heat from the open window). This was not all, there was also chunks of actual cat poop under my sink along with litter scattered across everything. I had to air my room out for a week before this smell had even slightly declined even with excessive use of chemicals. Not only this but I noticed pink hair dye across my entire shower, black mold growing, my toilet was stained with brown human waste which looked as if it had never been cleaned, my closet shelf was halfway off the wall, cat hair caked on the carpet along the walls, used cat toss scattered across, makeup brushes and hygiene products (some used) left from past resident, there was two bullet holes (YES BULLET HOLES!! WHICH HAD NOT BEEN FIXED) in my window alongside the middle of the bedframe support being broken and the closet doors were off the track. Instead of being able to move in right away, I had to spend three whole days cleaning the entire apartment before I could even begin feeling comfortable living here. This was not all, however, there was also cat pee soaked towels (three of them) left on the washer and chunks of cat hair/litter in every crevice of our washer and socks on the side of our washer (from previous tenants). For a place that doesn't allow animals, this was already shocking. The oven, microwave, fridge, cabinets, and every living space in this apartment had crumbs/food caked onto the surfaces and massive amounts of hair left behind which was extremely difficult to clean (as I have allergies to cats). The filters for the ac and bathroom had not been changed for at least over a year as there was chunks of dust coming off of each. When mentioning to the apartment these issues, all the staff told me was to take pictures for move out. Therefore, if you live here expect you will be cleaning up after anything the previous resident left. PROPERTY ISSUES- STILL ONGOING : Besides for the absolute filth we moved into, the apartment itself neglected the property and cleaning due to "having no matinence staff" (according to the front desk). The property degressed for almost two weeks while the property manager did nothing. The trash room had so much trash, it filled the hallway and went around the corner during this time. The trash room is a common issue that isn't handled at all - it is NOT taken out everyday but morever just whenever they feel is appropriate to take out (after days of building up). The hallway often has a strong smell that is repulsive and smells of hot trash on a summer day. The only floor that smells decent is the left side of the third floor as the room for touring is placed there, otherwise it smells horrible. The apartment cleaning has only improved slightly but most of the factors of hygiene at this place lack majorly. 1/2

Experiencia negativa: Hello, we moved our daughter in to her apartment in August. My first impression was the elevators are filthy the Mail room area is nasty dirty. The hallway leading to their apartment was filthy and full of boxes that stayed there what seems for weeks. When she moved in we had her create work orders to fix the issue. One was a broken bed wooden slat and the support bar to her bed. We we visited her the weekend of Oct14 and Oct 21 and only one of their work orders was completed. The elevator, common hallways were filthy. The fire and exit signs that I had observed broken were still missing or hanging on wires. The taco that some dropped on the floor in the hallway still there. The garbage bin by the Mail boxes full of the garbage from last weekend and new garbage that made it overflow. What is your maintenance schedule. Do you even have one? You have tons of competition now. Why not at a bear minimum keep your common areas clean. Create a schedule. What concerns me is that incase of an emergency many of the exit and emergency signs are broken. The complex charged full rent and buy could not move until the middle of the month. I thought it was to get the apartment ready. But oh no the furniture was filthy like someone had a last hurrah on the couch and left their bodily fluids on it. It was disgusting. I had to clean the upholstery. The building looks nice from the outside but it is liked she moved in to an uncared for slum lord building. We wanted our daughter to have a safe, decent place to live and are willing to pay for her to live in such a place this is not it. The owners collect the rent and do no upkeep. Have some pride in your product. I will be visiting in two weeks to see if the fire code violations have been fixed and if the garbage has been picked up and common areas cleaned. Let’s see if the taco had become part of the stench that fills the hallways!

Experiencia negativa: The trash is right next to the mailboxes and elevators ya can’t miss it! But somehow the management does, and here’s our lovely trash chute room that smells up the whole hallways. Oh look there’s a disgusting sticky liquid on the floor that’s been there a week. Wow I guess there’s no cleaners EVER. Welcome to Fifteen51!! :) Don’t sign the lease, go somewhere else.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible communication and not worth price I never write reviews, but I am incredibly disappointed in this apartment. Nice on the surface, but when it comes to anything that's not handing packages, the staff doesn't know anything. They always pass any problem to the manager, saying they will write a sticky note, but it takes forever for communication and most of the time you don't get a response back. Moving into my apartment, it had pink mold all the time, everywhere. The hallways always stunk of a mixture of trash and this weird freshener they emit to hide the trash smell. One time someone was breaking in to our apartment (he was shaking the doors and trying to come in). We requested for footage. They said they would send it, but never did. Last straw: My last monthly payment was rejected, I talked to Chase, but my account was completely fine. I tried communicating with the front desk multiple times and got a lot of differing answers. Eventually, the manager told me that the late fee will be waived due to the inconvenience, but that never happened. It only took like 6 phone calls and unbroken promises for me to realize that. Instead, I was charged $40 in bathroom damages, while my other roommate (who shared the bathroom) wasn't. I left the bathroom completely the same. In trying to defend my case, I emailed a bunch of people that reached out to me to complete my payment to see if I can get an explanation. In the emails sent before, they said explicitly that they are here to help, but I received no responses, so I ended up just paying for something I shouldn't have. Conclusion: It is disappointing that some of these reviews are fake, where people are just reviewing their friends that work there. Or they are talking about the great service, when the bare minimum is to be able to do satisfactory things like give a tour. What should matter the most is how the staff handles difficult issues when they arise, which has not been done very well at all. Please be wary and save yourself the headache. Recommendations: - Here Reno, Dean Reno, can't speak for other apartments, but definitely will get better quality than paying for this poor quality

Experiencia negativa: Smelled terrible when I moved in, still has a weird musty smell that I can’t get rid of. Damaged bathroom mirror that they won’t replace because they “don’t have the budget for”, so I’m paying $1300+ to look into a spray painted looking mirror. They said there’s lots of residents with it so beware, since whoever built the property thought it would be smart to glue the mirror to the wall. Doesn’t look like there is a cleaning staff, the hallways and elevators are filthy. Street noise is very loud so if you’re a light sleeper I wouldn’t recommend.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible always smelled awful, elevators broke often, the rooms and common areas were always extremely dusty like filters weren't being changed, and it seems like they employed malicious business practices. Many people in the building are first time renters but for move out protocol, I only received one email telling me my move out date was the end of July so I assumed I'd have until the end of July (11:59 pm) or at least until the desk closed to turn in my keys, but when I tried to turn in my keys at 1 pm I was greeted with a 300 dollar late checkout fee. I was told by the person working at the front desk that I should've received multiple emails with my checkout time but I only received one and it did not list the time anywhere on the email. The only missive I received about checkout time was the original lease email I received a year ago. There was also common vandalism that went unfixed such as broken or missing fire extinguishers broken fire exit signs. Finally the energy bills are preposterous, when I lived there the energy bills would go up every month regardless of whether we kept the lights or AC off. And every month you have to pay a 5 dollar service fee so conservice can send you a fully automated energy bill through email. Find a room on Facebook marketplace or roomies don't rent here!

Experiencia negativa: Do not EVER rent from here. Our young adult moved in there last August. And immediately the washer/dryer broke and took about 3 months the for them to get around to fix it. The ac/heater has never worked. They were given small space heaters for one of the worse winters since 1952. And to this day they did not get it working. A small ac that barely cools one room is supposed to cool 3 bedrooms. I think not. The toilet seats are painted they don't even care enough about the health and well being of their tenants to put antimicrobial seats so no one gets sick. Oh, wait, they don't care since that apartment was full of mold and thye were told mold is not in Nevada it is organic growth. Than after moving out asked them to do a walk-thru and was told no. "We do walk-thrus when the lease is up." We asked for that in writing that they refused to do a walk-thru and the office gave a sheet hand written that stated that. Asked to speak to the manager and she was sitting there with her shoes off watching something on her laptop. I ho estly thought she was a tenant. And I reordered her refusing to do a walk-thru. She told me to leave since I was recording. After the keys were handed over we were than informed we were not allowed back to do the walk-thru on the 31st. Took one of her cards so I know who to refer to when I contact Greystar Porperties. They also have The Highlander Apartments. If this any indication of how they run things....DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
