Experiencia fantástica: Moving to Reno from out of state could have been a nightmare, but working with Jack made it feel less like a business transaction and more like having a knowledgeable friend in your corner. His recorded virtual tours were an absolute lifesaver. We could walk through properties on our own time, compare details, and really get a feel for each place without making a dozen trips. What sets Jack apart is how genuinely he looks out for you. He's got decades of experience and contacts in the area, and he shares all of it freely. But more than that, he actually listens. Not just to the basics of what you're looking for, but to everything. He then takes it further, pointing out things you'd never think to consider yourself. Things like street noise levels, which direction the driveway faces for winter ice management, neighborhood quirks. I've worked with several realtors over the years, and honestly, I've never found one I'd want to use again. Next time I need a realtor, I already know exactly who I'm calling.

We had a tricky out of state move with a constrained timeline, which we thought was going to be very stressful. After interviewing several realtors, we finally found Jack, and knew from our first conversation that he was a cut above the rest! Jack helped us narrow down our list of 25-30 homes down to a top 3 by the time we came up to Reno for in-person showings. His video tours are tremendously helpful for remote buyers, or even busy buyers that don’t have the time to look at every single house. I have re-watched the tour he did for us on our final choice dozens of times. He points out flaws and features we would not have noticed or even thought to look for. This was our fourth home purchase, and even with the long-distance component, was by far the least stressful. We’ve worked with and interviewed a lot of realtors over the years as buyers and sellers, and Jack is easily the most knowledgeable we have had, with tons of practical, experienced advice. Jack’s team and network made the inspections and closing coordination a breeze, so smooth we were even able to move up the closing date! Our total process from initial call to closing date was exactly 7 weeks, which is about half as long as our others have taken, not to mention half as stressful. To top that off, he’s just a really nice guy, and does extra things like collect boxes after you’re done moving to pass along to another client who needs them – so thoughtful! He has continued to help us coordinate repairs and improvements for us after the sale, making yet another aspect of our move easier. Jack will be the only guy we will call next time!

However, upon reading reviews which were 100% favorable for Remax's Jack Cote, we decided to utilize Jack's services for our real estate search. We were fairly certain that we wanted a new home (having dealt with the issues an older home can present) but were open to considering other options. We informed Jack of our preference, and he was very willing to help whether it was a new or older home. Jack took us to several previously occupied houses, and we then determined that the best value and the most appropriate home for us would be a new one. Jack supported our wishes and we visited several new developments in the area. When we found the house we wanted Jack was able to negotiate a great deal, including several added features, providing us with greater value for the price than we would even have attempted on our own. Despite the fact that there was much lower commission for him (since it was a new home and paid by the developer), he gave us wonderful service and advice. I selected Jack Cote randomly off the internet 14 years ago. That was my lucky day and I hit the realtor jackpot. 14 years ago I was pregnant with my first child and had a very limited budget. I’ll never forget how hard Jack worked for me to find a house that I was comfortable with the mortgage on, and yet fit my expanding family’s needs. He was a rockstar, and I had an amazing home to bring my son to. Since then Jack has weathered so many situations with my family, divorce, remarriage, aging parents. All these life milestones have a tendency to come with real estate transactions. I have purchased 5 houses, and sold 3 of them with Jack as my realtor. And as the years go by and my budget increases and my requests become more specific, Jack has remained consistent. He will look at a hundred houses to find the one that fits my needs and budget. He never pressures me to change either of those. He knowledge of homes is invaluable, and if he has concerns about a property not being a good fit he tells me. When it comes to selling, his knowledge of the area and market is invaluable. I have always followed Jack’s advice on pricing and marketability. I think the longest any house I’ve sold has been on the market a week before I was under contract. I believe that is because of Jack’s ability to price my home correctly for the market we are selling in. I have recommended Jack to numerous friends and I will continue to do so until he retires.
