Experiencia negativa: The employees of this company are rude and condescending. They will take money and give violation notices, but will do everything to not assist renters, home owners, or businesses. This company is terrible and no HOA should ever use them.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible billing processing. Allowing for overbilling and inaccurate charges! Have addressed several times, this company will not allow for clean reconciliation of ALL charges. This is a huge problem!

Experiencia fantástica: There was plenty of parking on this day, Nov 11 2025. Area is easy to find. Building is clean. My wife went in while I waited in the vehicle. She was greeted, said had no problems getting our concerns addressed, with possible solution to prevent further issuses. Will follow up later to confirm.

Experiencia positiva: Pay free at location, "no added 10 dollar processing fee" as their website affiliate adds. No required mail check to out of state location.
Experiencia negativa: We have been homeowners since 2015. Since our HOA has started to be managed by Associa, things have got really worse. We have had 2 raises in dues yet our services are less and problems linger. Back in April 2025, we all raised concerns about broken irrigation pipes. Cases have been closed multiple times regarding the problem without any resolution. No one communicates with us and they straight ignore our requests. It is now September and the irrigation system is still not working. We experience either floods in some areas or no water at all like outside my house so all is burnt. A neighbor themselves had to fix the pipes. Just like in another comment, trees took months to be trimmed, trash around not being taken care of. We have a shed door waiting to be repared by Associa and their “selected vendor”. It has now been 2 years. Units need to be repainted, still waiting … Associa only wants to do touch-ups on units painted 9 years ago…Very bad company to hire to manage anything. All we witnessed from our unit were dues raised and a neighborhood going down. Not sure what they do during the day. Impossible to reach anyone to communicate live.

Experiencia negativa: I am a home owner who has the unfortunate experience of having an HOA managed by Associa. The employees here are rude, lie, and lack any attention to detail. I asked for an approved colors list for exterior pant schemes in February and they told me they do not have the "new one". I asked if they could send me the previous one. They completely disregarded that question and told me to submit the colors and they would be approved. Come March 13th, I submitted the paint samples with paint IDs, the signed architectural improvement document with my neighbor signatures, and a photo of the paint on the trim, door, and body of the house. Keep in mind that the colors we submitted are neutral browns and whites (so very safe normal colors). I then was asked to submit a physical paint samples because they said it is "more efficient". No problem, I submitted them Monday March 17th. I was told if they were dropped off before Thursday March 20th, I would have an answer Friday or by Monday March 24th at the absolute latest. Well, now after 26 emails back and forth and 3 phone calls later talking to 3 different employees, still no answer. I wasn't informed until the following week after the samples were supposed to be reviewed that the physical samples were mailed to the board and never made it to them in time. How is this efficient? I first had to drive completely to the other side of Reno to drop the samples off, then some employees has to physically mail the samples to the board, then the board has to receive the physical samples to vote on them.The most frustrating thing is now the same employee on my initial correspondence is telling me that the board of the HOA needs information on where the three neutral paint colors go, (trim, body, accents) which was already included in my initial correspondence on March 13th. Also, if my neighbors already signed off on it, what's it to them? You are supposed to be working for us, the homeowners.. I hate to feel the obligation to leave a bad review and do not usually do this, but this has been the most inefficient, time wasting, and frustrating bureaucracy that I have dealt with. If I were this bad or inefficient at my job, I would be fired immediately.

Experiencia negativa: As the newly appointed Board member of our LMA Board I'm discouraged to find Associa reluctant, and slow in responding to the Board. Sometimes normal business is not normal, and the company hired to perform a function, Associa, should comply with the Boards requests without stalling the process, or directing the Boards in its decisions. The process should be smooth, even when a tough request is followed and met. The community pays for a service to be performed without having any kickback slowing down the process to care for our community. Associa took so long to reply, "7-10 days for the process" they say, it's now been just as long for Associa to even respond to the Boards request. And still waiting....

Experiencia negativa: This has to be one of the worst HOA's in existence. Everyone in our community has a tuff shed, but when I want to get mine installed they tell me no because it has to be smaller than 10 ft. Low and behold tuff shed does not make a shed 10ft or lower. If you are looking to buy a house and these guys are your HOA, Do Not Buy.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible Experience with Mice Infestation and Unresponsive Management I own a condo in Truckee and have been dealing with an unresolved mice infestation for over a month now. Despite reporting the issue repeatedly, there’s been no real action taken. In fact, the situation has gotten much worse, with the mice problem growing more severe by the day. Shockingly, they closed my ticket as “resolved” by suggesting I seal my entire condo, including the fireplace, which is the main entry point for the mice. This recommendation shows their complete ignorance of the issue and utter disregard for health risks. Not only do mice carry dangerous pathogens, but sealing the fireplace could lead to carbon monoxide poisoning! It’s beyond frustrating that they refuse to take the situation seriously. Their lack of response and problem-solving is unacceptable. I highly recommend staying away if you value your health and want a management team that actually cares.

Experiencia negativa: Set up auto pay using the app they recommend which is town square. Town square didn't take it out one month and then this company said they don't deal with them. Not very friendly in the email. Absolutely no courtesy, and I have to pay the late fee because I guess I tried to be responsible and set up auto pay.

Experiencia negativa: I am not proud to have to write this review, and it certainly gives me no pleasure. Although, I am aware I can write another review or remove my review if the appropriate actions begin to be taken by Associa. At this point, years of neglect need to be addressed. Background: Feb. 2022 we purchased our condo in Woodstock located in Incline Village. Associa was transitioning as the community manager during our purchase. We decidedly gave them 6 months without bother because they conveyed the transition was less than seamless. It has now been nearly 2.5 years. There are multiple inexcusable actions and impact that has been fall out because of the transfer(s) of powers. They have been to numerous to mention and after each HOA meeting, I find myself aghast with what has NOT been completed or addressed in 2.5 years. I am beyond frustrated at how the transfer of power is used as an excuse for inferior performance. "The new person needs to get their footing" has been over used! We are now on our fourth community manager since our purchase. Friday, July 19th, I called Associa more than once regarding a wasp problem and mentioned two people had been stung and explained where it appeared the wasps were coming. I even spoke to Jose' Ayala the supposed (NEW) community manager about the issue and he said, "He would create a ticket and take the appropriate measures. It has been five days, I have received no email, or follow up of any kind from anyone in Associa. I even called the corporate office today, Wednesday July 24th because two more people were stung. In addition, we learned someone else was stung as well last Friday. I called and was told it would once again going to be escalated and that they had a record of the ticket on Friday. Jose' the "new" community manager never called nor did his supervisor. This is absurd and Google is a place that we all have learned to use for recommendations. Associa's communication, actionable neglect is a systemic problem. I would not choose them as a property management company. Tammy Callahan

Experiencia negativa: I have a condo in Lakeridge Villas and I have one in Mill Creek. Both are managed by Associa located on Professional Circle drive. They are rude. They do not respond. If they should respond it is with rudeness and lack of knowledge on how to handle any situation. I don't know how they have survived but I am thinking very seriously of selling both condos so I do not have to deal with these morons that are inadequately serving the residents.. our property manager and are HOA president are sorry excuses for management on any level. Experiencia positiva: After purchasing our new home in Emerson Cottages in Carson City we worked with the HOA using TownSq to submit both via mail and electronically the official forms for modifications to our back yard. Based on our detailed input and diagrams the HOA approved our requests in a timely manner so that we can proceed with landscaping changes so we can enjoy our back yard as soon as possible before summer.

Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately this HOA management has no idea what they are doing and what is happening in people's neighborhoods. Contacted them for over weeks with no response. They have such high turnover in people that no one knows what's going on lol. They also do not know how to work neighborhood portal systems. Not even sure how they are still a company. If you want to be paid to do nothing.... get a job here!

Experiencia negativa: In the beginning we had excellent service from Associa Sierra North. Later, when our account was taken over by Jose Ayala nothing works. Now our meeting notices are chaotic, bills are paid late, calendars are wrong, and all of the paperwork is messed up. As our landscape maintenance association (LMA) has virtually no maintenance, everything that Associa does is paperwork, and they are now extremely poor at that.

Experiencia negativa: Our mail boxes have been broken for a month now. The mail is being held at the post office and I have to go there on a daily basis to pick it up. I have called in several times to ask when it's going to be fixed and all I'm told is they will put an "urgent" request in. I have also called our HOA manager Tammy Hopper and all I get from her are excuses. First she told me she was waiting for a locksmith to call her back and now she is waiting for the post office to call her. We'll I've asked the post office to call her and they won't. Then the post office told me that because the mail boxes are inside the building it's the HOA responsibility to fix them. If they were outside the building it would be the post office responsibility. I'm tired of NOT getting my mail and paying late fee on bills that shouldn't be late. I am also tired of wasting gas and time going to the post office. PLEASE FIX THE MAILBOX.

Experiencia negativa: I have been waiting for a $400 refund now going on four months. The property manager of our Lakeridge Villas condominiums, has not even had the courtesy to reply to my emails after she advised me, the check was being cut and mailed, and I would receive was one week, and that was the beginning of March. I’m not considered that even mediocre customer service.

Experiencia negativa: A most incompetent team that will shortly be involved in a class action lawsuit for incompetence I have no doubt. I have contacted associa customer service four times for removal of a late fee. 2 times I was told to open a query in their ticketing system, which I did and to wait patiently for a result. 11 days later with my fees not reversed I contact them yet again, I am told by customer service to email a specific individual Donald Lamer, she names him by name and says he can reverse my fee. That same day after I email Donald he calls me and says he is not responsible for removing my fee. Then directs me to someone named Bernadette who I leave a voice mail and message to remove my fee. Then I receive an email from a Melissa that same day that the board needs to review before my late fee is removed and I need to wait until middle of March (two additional weeks). THREE different answers from THREE different employees. No one knows what is going on this company is a joke. And to top it all off I can see on the app that they just removed someone’s late fee two days ago, so to say they can no longer remove it is clearly a lie.

Experiencia fantástica: I am very happy with the attention and service provided to me throughout the approval process for my home landscape project. There was one very minor issue that was quickly resolved largely in part due to the attention and wonderful service provided by Assistant Marti Hinger. Experiencia fantástica: We are owners residing in Saddle Ridge. We recently needed a form to submit to approve some work we'll be having done in the future. Experiencia negativa: If you need an HOA management company, stay away from these guys! We have a condo in Serra Loma and have nothing but problems! They failed to credit your account, we have two accounts and they constantly don’t credit the right account! I had to show multiple months of cashed cheeks to prove I made a payment! I have called Laura Carr multiple times and she still has not fixed the problem! Now she never calls me back when I leave a message, or never answers the phone! Don’t ever consider these guys for your management company!

Experiencia negativa: My condo has ONE parking space. ONE. A car has been parked in it for months. I need it towed. I called the management company's local number and it routed me to a call center in TX. Someone took the details and made a report and said someone would call me back. One week later. No one called me back. She looked into my case and it was still open, no notes, no updates. If they were busy or slammed, the least they could have done was email or text me about it and send someone out to tow. Completely UNPROFESSIONAL AND INAPPROPRIATE! I had a buyer decided to cancel escrow as soon as they found out Associa North was managing. Said they had a very bad experience with Associa North in the past. When this place managed a townhome I lived in, in 2010, it was horrible. This lady would come and kick everyone out of the pool saying it is for owners only, which I think is illegal, because if tenants are renting they are allowed access. Anyway, I was an owner and she would constantly try to kick me and my 5 year old out and things would escalate. I was the owner at the time, not a tenant, but she should not kick out tenants either. Hands down. Giving this place one star.

Experiencia negativa: I am an home owner 3530 Herons Cir. I have reported several issues of parking in common areas by neighbors. Leaving thrash cans by neighbors outside. Most important is about my neighbors trees which has damaged my house windows screens and also my house. Reported to Associa several times since 2021 to Jenna Snead, Joe Lopez, Jacob Darby (about having the neighbors tree trimmed which has damaged my property) was promised by Jacob in June to allow 2 months to get it trimmed and now it’s October and no sign of getting it trimmed. Finally on August 2nd Jacob sent an e-mail stating he is no longer performing admin work and copied to Melissa. After that no response at all. Very very bad experience with Associa.

ASSsocia sierra north the summer time weeds and trash everywhere they put sand as a land scape and maintain it once a year, winter time they don't clean the walkway (snow) specially the mailbox area no snow flow and irrigation check up for the flood and the community is so dark no street light. they need to work their ASSocia for $70/mo KDHbuilders: Brandi looks like you need a new community management.

Experiencia negativa: We were double charged our quarterly HOA fee on July 6, 2023. We notified the immediately by email that this happened. I have followed up with four phone calls. We still have not had our money refunded. On my called today, I had Lila hang up on me. When I stated I would wait to talk to a supervisor, she said "none are available, goodbye" and hung up before I could get a word in. They don't respond to emails, or phone calls. It is beyond frustrating dealing with this company.

Experiencia fantástica: A shout out to the excellent management and support staff at Regency at Presidio. They are all so pleasant and helpful. And they consistently "go the extra mile." With some support staff recently absent due to illness, the managers pitched in to take up the slack and did some tasks, even mopping and other cleaning, to ensure that the quality of service experienced by residents did not suffer due to short staffing. That takes extra time and effort and we are blessed that the entire team is focused on providing excellent service.

Experiencia negativa: Wingfield springs, Sparks Please take this very seriously. This is the worst HOA company on the planet. I have owned 28 homes in my 58 years on this planet. And unfortunately I am again in an HOA. By far this is the most stressful. If you have a concern they will get back to to in never never land. It's like they are also owners of YOUR home. I have received no less than 4 letters regarding things like my garage door was open to I didn't move my trash can in the same day. I bought this house in 2020 and after requesting the budget which should be mailed out EVERY YEAR, they finally mailed it right before the meeting. They mailed me 2020, 2021 and 2022 Big suprise. No 2023 budget.They do NOT want the homeowners to know what is included. When I asked for it to be mailed I got the you can go to the website to find it and that they had already mailed it to me. Still waiting. I can tell you that the previous year budget includes a WHOPPING $653000 for landscape and another 278000 for someone to drive around and take picture of a brown spot in YOUR grass or your garage door being open. Oh, and another 50,000 on OFFICE SUPPLIES IN A ONE PERSON OFFICE. All I have to say at this point is if you want to buy a home way out here look into the HOA fees and read all the paperwork prior to buying out here in the RED HAWK AREA. The HOA is 750 per year with no clubhouse, pool or park for your kids. If you want the pool it's NOT CHEAP!! Plus get readyy for multiple letters.

Experiencia negativa: The response time for any issues are ridiculous! Using the "app" they suggest, they usually close without comment. My latest request was initiated on 10/17, I received a response on 10/21 requesting more information and they closed the ticket. I replied on 10/22, and their repoly wasn't until 11/2. It doesn't seem like they are doing any work, just pushing it off until forgotten. My ticket has been unresolved and yet closed.

Experiencia negativa: While trying to get some answers to charges on my HOA, Jenna has been very slow to respond. I heard from her on the 1st of September to allow time for a review. It is now the 28th of September and still no response. I have tried following up twice now, with no response. Very disappointed is the service from Associa.

I wanted to pay what I owed, was at my internet bank, had the money and eager to right the wrong. Mary gave only partial information, had no patience and no insight in my position. She may be a good accountant. Better with numbers than people.
