Experiencia negativa: Just don’t move here- in a constant bout of construction given the need for Veris to compete with the high rises going up next door. If that isn’t enough reason, a resident just found a homeless person living in the stairwell when they were taking their dog out last night. The resident was using the stairs since the elevators were down (happens occasionally along with absurd elevator wait times due to constant use of them for construction). I will say, the maintenance team here is fantastic and so kind, especially Randy. I feel badly that the maintenance team likely takes the brunt of angry residents given the actual corporate staff takes little action to address resident concerns.

Experiencia fantástica: 120-Day Review: Smooth Move, Great Experience, and Truly Dog-Friendly We’re about four months into living at Liberty Towers, and I can confidently say this has been a great move for us. We came from a neighboring high-rise where ongoing management and maintenance issues made day-to-day living frustrating. Moving here has been a completely different experience in the best way. From the start, everything has been smooth, transparent, and exactly as expected. No surprises, which honestly feels rare. A big reason for that is Kyle in the leasing office. He made the touring and move-in process incredibly easy and has continued to be responsive and helpful even after we settled in. That kind of ongoing support really stands out and makes a difference. Across the board, the staff has been outstanding. Leasing, front desk, maintenance, everyone is friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. It feels like people care here, which goes a long way. The building itself has been great. Amenities are well maintained and consistently available, which was a major improvement from our last place. We love the hydroponics farm for fresh greens. Also worth calling out, no flooding issues at all, which unfortunately had been a recurring concern where we lived before. It’s also an extremely dog-friendly building. Our dog has been very welcome here, and it’s clear the building embraces pet owners, which was important for us. The only downside has been some ongoing elevator issues, but that honestly seems to come with the territory in most high-rise buildings and hasn’t been a dealbreaker. Overall, we’re really happy here thus far. It’s been a refreshing change, and we’d recommend Liberty Towers to anyone considering a move in the area.

Experiencia fantástica: I was fortunate to meet Leasing Specialist, Nicole, at Liberty Towers. She is VERY knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. She made what would be a demanding situation of apartment hunting most enjoyable. Additionally, she has been instrumental in making the application process stress-free. The maintenance team specifically Randy and Eddy, are amazing! Whenever there is an issue they’re on-the-spot fixing it! When I had a major major major issue with handicap parking, they resolved the problem for me! They are delightful, have a sense of humor, and our friendly, pleasant, and very very professional. I also only have wonderful things to say about the management team! They are above and beyond supportive, pleasant, friendly, and helpful, their cooperation and support knows no bounds! Experiencia negativa: STAY AWAY The entire building is under renovation - truly dozens of contractors in/out of the building every day. They make the day/day of living here not fun. They are renovating every apartment in building over next several years and the lobby. There was no notice of this when we first moved in. View is good/great if you get one - yet many apartments are losing their view due to two very large apartment buildings under construction next door. Important ... Notice that every positive review mentions a staff member name? They are literally comping the staff to try to hide all the bad reviews. Edit … to be clear construction and loss of view problems are the major issues. Others: (1) Elevators - they install new elevator controls and tout it - what they do not mention is every elevator will need extensive renovation (individually out of service for months). Try that while dozens of constructions folks are also using them! (2) Common room looks great when you tour yet actually working down there can be tough. It's loud and only 10 spots for a bldg of 600 apts. (3) Staff … tough to feel like this is home working with staff that constantly turns … they are kept in the dark as building management lies about future plans … even the best ones let you know much of what happens is beyond their control. (4) Read your lease … pay on 6th of month and they will tag you for 10% of rent as late fee. Month by month is a 20% surcharge. Outrageous. (5) Heat/AC - I do love the view. Yet windows are not modern - the heat moves through them quickly. Expect regular $200-$300 monthly heating and air conditioning bills (6) Cleaning - this might be a silly one - yet every 9AM they have too many cleaning ladies running around the building - so many they get in the way. Constantly mopping and running vacuum cleaners. Much busy work. Like do you have to clean at the exact time almost every resident is leaving the building for work? I could go on yet…

Experiencia negativa: Renovation work every day, contractors everywhere, dust everywhere, elevator and trash chute constant outages, etc. The apartment hallway SMELLS SO BAD from the carpet and the trash room. The main lobby near the elevators smells DISGUSTING due to its proximity to the dock load and the central trash repository. The maintenance team entered my apartment without request/notice/allowance. Your first impression upon entering the building is boxes in the hallway, every time. More than 2 weeks and no solution to the trash… the manager says, "Thanks for your patience." unbelievable!!

Experiencia negativa: STAY AWAY!!! Don’t be fooled by the “renovated” apartments — this entire building is under nonstop construction, with hundreds of units still being redone and contractors everywhere. The garbage rooms smell terrible, and management has lied about fixing the plumbing and water issues, which still cause frequent outages. To make things worse, many of the beautiful views they advertise are disappearing due to new buildings going up next door. What’s marketed as luxury living is really just noise, dust, and constant disruption. Avoid this building at all costs. Maybe in 3 years it will be a good place to live, but for now it is not.

Experiencia fantástica: Victor Rezabala is the "superpower" of this building. I am amazed by his incredibly accurate memory; he naturally remembered all my information, including my room number, after just one meeting. Given the large number of residents, this feels like a superpower to me. He is nice, gentle, super professional, and truly a great guy—one of the best agents here in this building.

Experiencia negativa: Beautiful views, terrible living space. Constant renovation work that leaves us with days of no water, constant drilling, elevator outages, etc. not to mention the rat sightings, smell from trash rooms, and lack of compensation for this major inconveniences. All of this work for surface level renovations that don’t even look good. Every week of living here as brought some sort of new hell that’s made us seriously question whether to move out. Neighbors are also super noisy at all hours, I’ve tried involving Veris but they don’t take it seriously. On the bright side, maintenance members have been kind and understanding.

Experiencia negativa: Update as of July 2025 I recently had to go back to Liberty Towers to pick up something. The staff at the leasing office was absolutely wonderful. I want to update this review to reflect that the original staff while I was a resident were terrible. It seems like the management had improved since I moved out. Original review from 2021 ——————— Yes, that view from my window is amazing. And yes, I have so much issues with this building. 1) Waited a week for extra keys: After coordinating on move-in and received notice to pick up an extra set of keys, I went to the office for two consecutive days to pick up keys with no keys for me. Then office said their back up is messed up and unable to make a copy, so roommates and I have to give them a pair of our keys to make a copy. Our entire unit had to share one key for a week while they make a copy. Why did you make multiple promises that keys will be ready for pick up before move-in then? 2) Pay portal tech issue, couldn't pay without service fee. Does not allow multiple checking accounts linked for payment: The residence portal is Rentcafe, which I have used before with a different building. However, Liberty Towers does not allow multiple people to pay by checking account. They also had a tech issue at the first few months that prevented paying by checking. Paying by credit card would charge a % as service fee. 3) Repeatedly incorrect pay portal transactions. This is really what drove me to write the review. We received late payment notification when we have already paid. Portal says we are paying deposit, but the deposit is already paid and the amount is really for rent. I need to be proactively monitoring everything on portal because of repeated incorrect charges. When I proactively reached out to leasing office regarding their system issue, they didn't even check the account history and told me that I need to submit another payment to clear balance when there is not even a balance on the account. Hello?? Thanks for not reading my emails! And although they nicely replied to this review wanting to work with me, this is not what they sounded like over email. Note to all: Elevator allows 4 people per elevator in COVID. Neighbors are nice so far. Doorman is also very nice. The building sends out emails on collaboration with local businesses and service discounts. There is a different food truck available every Thursday.

Experiencia negativa: My husband and I have been tenants here for almost 3 years, and overall our experience has been at best, a C-. The location is amazing, the amenities are nice, and the living space is fine. You don't get much, but given the fact that it's Jersey City, it's adequate. Despite the constant ongoing, disruptive construction that many other tenants have mentioned in previous reviews, I have not had many major issues living here until now. Back in August 2024, our lease was up for renewal. The last 2 times we renewed, our rent increased minimally, but this time we were quoted a $600/month increase for a 12-month renewal. We tried to negotiate this rate, but the leasing company provided us with 0 flexibility on the 12-month rate. The best thing they could offer us was an 18-month renewal with a small increase, which is what we signed. I am well aware that this is a standard practice in the leasing process (it shouldn't be, but this isn't the first time I've experienced this). However, my husband and I were VERY clear that we were not planning to stay here for 18 more months and would need to know our options. The leasing agent we spoke with at the time presented us with 3 options- 1. Break your lease and pay an exorbitant fee (2 months of rent) 2. Find another tenant to take over 3. Re-rent program - the leasing company would find a new tenant to re-lease the unit Now that we have a better idea of our move-out timeline, we decided to speak with the leasing office about the re-rent program. We were very rudely told that Veris no longer offers this (as if this should've been common knowledge to us). We explained that this option was offered to us in August and the leasing agent verbatim said "we don't offer it anymore, things change around here every day." I understand that policies change, but this was very poor customer service. The leasing agent could have offered us even the slightest amount of guidance or flexibility and I would have appreciated it, but instead she basically said in not so many words "here are your options- take it or leave it." I am very dissatisfied with this experience and I find it unfair that we were told about the re-rent option and now it's just completely unavailable to us. Hopefully things work out in our favor and we can find a solution, but I am very disappointed that this is how they would handle a situation with a loyal tenant of almost 3 years.

Experiencia fantástica: We’ve been living in this building for the past 4.5 years and, for the most part, really enjoyed it. However, this past year was especially tough due to all the renovation-related issues—constant noise, disruptions, and general inconvenience. We were seriously considering moving out. But Victor really took the time to listen to our concerns and helped us find a new apartment within the same building that better suited our needs. He assured us that most of the renovations are now complete and that things should be much smoother moving forward. His flexibility with move-in dates and clear communication made the whole process so much easier. Really appreciate his help!

He walked us through everything with such ease, pointing out all the thoughtful touches and high-end finishes that really set the place apart. Jose made what could’ve been a stressful process feel effortless. Experiencia fantástica: This building is a Gem and hard to find in Downtown JC. Even thou they're renovating the units you can't hear them at all. Concrete through and through. Amazing amenities, staff and the leasing team is great and very professional. Jose, and Kyle are the best! Highly recommend this place if you want to make this place your own. 5 min walk to the Exchange Pl. PATH, my commute is a breeze.

Experiencia fantástica: Five Stars – Exceptional Living at Liberty Towers! Living at Liberty Towers has been nothing short of amazing. The location, views, and amenities are all top-tier—but what really makes this place stand out is the incredible team, especially Jessica and her staff. Even during ongoing construction, Jessica and her team have been unbelievably accommodating. They’re proactive, thoughtful, and over-communicative in the best way—keeping us updated on every step of the process. And when things don’t go exactly as planned (as can happen during big projects), they’re quick to take ownership and work toward a solution with professionalism and care. Experiencia negativa: DO NOT LIVE HERE! The building is not maintained and there are constantly issues including not having water multiple times a month. The management at the building does little to nothing to assist and communication from management is non existent. They also closed down ALL indoor amenities with little notice and are not offering anything refund on the high amenity fee. UPDATE ON 3/31/25: Elevators are still regularly down or only two of four are running. Today the elevators were down for over three hours during which a medical emergency occurred and elevators were not accessible unless manually operated by the fire department. The construction in units is still incredibly loud even if it is not near your unit and they do not follow the set 9-5 hours.

Experiencia negativa: I echo other residents’ comments of frequent drilling, constant noise, frequent water outages… The drilling is the worst part, relentless whether my baby is sleeping or if my son is sick with a high fever. How bad is it, so bad that drives people to have mental breakdowns. I can’t describe the level of mental stress this building added for me and my family. Stay away. It is not just the renovations, what is more scary is the fact that no one informed us of this renovation (as extensive as it is) when we signed the lease, so best not to trust the management of this building. Also, below is an example of the many messages we got regarding renovations and loud noise. Worst part is, management didn’t even bother to tell us in the emails which unit they are doing which day! Yep, Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, if you have an important call in-between, please try your luck and hope for the best! Oh, and they tell you to take advantage of the amenity space. I’ve been down there many times, each time the rooms are all taken! The workstations also are terrible in terms of noise transmission, you can definitely hear extremely clearly if the person next door is talking. Response to management message below: you ask me how you can help, I had emailed you and told you that you should let your residents know where the drilling is happening which day. Again, no one can plan around Monday - Thursday 9-5. Despite me telling you this you did not provide this information, so why ask me again here? Also, if I am not mistaken, you only have three workstations and 4-5 huddle rooms downstairs, how many residents do you have? Each time I go down there, every room/private space would be taken. You have a lot of open public seating, but you realize not everyone can work in an open seating area as certain work related information is confidential. One time the rooms weren’t full when I went down, and I quickly realized that it was because your internet was not working.

Experiencia negativa: Liberty Towers has repeatedly failed to uphold its responsibilities as a landlord: * Haven't had consistent hot water since 2021. They have instructed us to wait until 2025 renovations, but we still don't have consistent hot water. * Noise from renos, water shutoffs, and in-unit renovation intrusions have been a regular occurrence, disrupting our work days on multiple occasions. Contractors have spoken directly to us while we've been in work meetings despite our requests they stop interrupting and talking to us. Renos are responsible for the continuous and multiple Wifi shutoffs per day. * Loud banging from the roof multiple times at disturbing our family’s sleep. * Incomplete and slow hallway renos causing my children to trip numerous times. * Amenities are not functional despite 2x'd amenity fee. The pool was too cold to use for most of 2024, and the children's playroom had no heat for over a month this winter. A resident brought a space heater so the children could use the playroom, as the building management failed to address the issue. * During peak renos, Liberty Towers passed on the increased utility costs to tenants, resulting in higher bills. * Violent intruder incident on Sunday, March 9th (just check Reddit). The leasing office has not addressed the event or informed residents of any additional security measures being implemented. On the flipside, residents witnessed the leasing office call the cops on the mother of a newborn who was upset she hadn't had running water for two days. They shut down the leasing office, sent a warning to all tenants, and got a security guard for themselves. This makes it look like Liberty Towers doesn't care about the safety of its residents. These examples are only a selection of what we’ve experienced over the years. We have voiced our concerns via email and in-person, only to be dismissed or even gaslit.

Water outages all day. I just cant understand how changing the valves can take months. Now we started having internet outages which is new. There is a huge construction right next door and there will be another right across the street. I wish I knew all these before signing the contract. I am moving out immediately after the end of my term.

Experiencia negativa: Potential tenants BEWARE - PLEASE DO NOT RENT HERE. This management and building is a HUGE SCAM and people are moving out of this building every week. Hot water outage at least once in 3 days, constant construction noise, no security, concierge almost always missing at the front desk, no-one answers calls and there is NO emergency maintenance for leaks/ flooding. Most importantly, the management won't respond / address a single email. They hike up rents without providing basic amenities and majorly violate rental agreements with no compensation. Residents are pursuing legal action against the company. We are trying out best to get out of here. PLEASE BE CAREFUL TO READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU CONSIDERING RENTING HERE. There are other much better apartments in the area.

Tricked in to signing a lease only to find out weeks later that we’d be living in a complete construction zone for the remainder of the year (outdoor spaces, hallways, rec spaces, neighboring units, and now the entire lobby!). Experiencia negativa: Ignore the 5 star reviews. They are solicited by Liberty Towers to review our maintenance team or concierge staff and are not indicative of actually living here at LT. To their credit, we do have several wonderful members on the maintenance team and some at the concierge desk. Let this review not be a poor reflection on them, but rather just a reflection at how terrible it has been to live here for nearly 4 years! Living in this building has been a nightmare from day one. The elevators are constantly breaking down, with some residents even getting trapped inside for long stretches. If you manage to avoid the elevators, you'll still be dealing with constant water shutoffs, sometimes for days at a time, and hot water access is wildly inconsistent. Maintenance issues are endless, from frequent leaks and floods to recent infestations of mice, cockroaches, and spiders. The building is overpriced with rent increases as high as 45% in some cases over the years, and they charge an enormous amenities fee that doesn't even give full access to all amenities—some things cost extra! Add in the ongoing noise from construction, gaslighting from corporate staff, and a poorly implemented key fob system with data security issues, and you have a perfect storm of frustration. Living here has been nothing but a headache, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a safe or comfortable home. Look elsewhere—you'll thank yourself later.

Water was even cut off some days during the Christmas and New Year break. If management had any respect for residents, they would not schedule this when people are enjoying winter break at home. Do yourself a favor—avoid this place if you're looking for a comfortable home in Jersey. ——————————————————————- Echoing those who wished they could give zero stars—constant water and elevator outages are frustrating enough, but the relentless renovations make it even worse. These so-called 'upgrades' not only fail to enhance the living experience but actively degrade it. I’ve lost count of how many rounds of 'renovation' we’ve experienced over the past few months, but just in the last month, it’s happened three times, each lasting days. The first time, it seemed like unit renovations, with the endless drilling vibrations pounding against your eardrums and rattling the ceilings and floors. Working from home? Forget it. Rest? Not a chance. The second instance was a couple of weeks ago—floor refurnishing? I'm not sure what work they did beyond a new paint job, but the result was dust everywhere: all over my door, doorknob, and of course, the elevator. No cleaning was done at all after their work. Now, for the third and latest round: I had hoped it wouldn’t disrupt much, but I woke up with my entire room filled with dust. At first, I thought I was just thinking too much, but as the noise escalated to unbearable levels, I gave up on working from home and leave for the office. The moment I opened the door, I was hit with a thick wall of dust. The entire floor was blanketed in it. With no door separating me from the noise, every second was a nightmare on my eardrums, pushing me to escape faster—only to nearly miss the elevator because the renovation noise drowned out its chime. This is what living here has come to: having a home I can’t even stay in. On days I could work from home, I’m still forced to head into the office instead, just to escape the chaos. Lmao.

Experiencia negativa: If you like the idea of living in a real-life construction site, where your water supply its own 9-to-5 job (multiple cuts throughout the year), drilling noises throughout the day (they have been 'renovating' for a year now), and the elevator is basically a vertical roulette which malfunctions all the time, then you have found your paradise. RIP any people who work from home in this building. The proximity to path is a plus and the maintenance staff are really nice people. One star for that.

Experiencia negativa: The management is pathetic. They don't care about tenants. We had 6+ months on continues construction and renovation which as made our life hell. We have to wait 30 mins every morning and evening for elevator because there contracts use 3 out 4 lifts for moving. Multiple units had flooding which has cause flooding on multiple floors and management doesnt care about all this. They keep hiring shitty contractors and they keep doing bad work. On top of that they are allowing contracts live in empty apartments which they are renovating. so they keep making noise during quite hours.

Employees knock on your door daily, even when you ask for privacy. The noise is unbearable—there’s construction next door, making it impossible to relax, and the streets are always dirty and muddy. Workers from the neighboring building frequently come into this one, making it feel chaotic and messy all the time. Packages go missing regularly, and management does nothing about it. Experiencia negativa: I have been a tenant at Liberty Towers Apartment for almost two years now, and I must say, my experience has been far from satisfactory. There are several issues that have made living here hell. 1. The construction work on the floor lobby is a constant source of inconvenience. The area is always out of order, making it difficult to navigate and causing unnecessary disruptions. It seems like the management has no regard for the comfort and convenience of the tenants. 2. elevators are frequently breaking down. This is not just an inconvenience but also a safety concern, especially for elderly residents or those with mobility issues. It's frustrating to have to wait for repairs or use the stairs when the elevators are out of service. 3. Another major issue is the hot water supply. It's inconsistent and often unreliable, which is a significant problem, especially during the colder months. This is a basic necessity that should be provided without interruption. 4. Adding to the list of grievances, there have been water shutdowns from 9 AM to 5 PM on several days, including during the holiday week of December 22, 23, 24, and 26. This complete disregard for the current tenants is unacceptable. It's incredibly inconvenient and disrupts daily routines. 5. The management charges a hefty $900 for amenities, which is already a steep price. To make matters worse, the amenity space was closed for maintenance throughout the entire summer. This means we paid for amenities we couldn't even use, which is incredibly unfair and frustrating. 6. The rent increases upon renewal are unfair and excessive. Rents have been increased by $600-$700 per month, which is a significant financial burden. This feels like a blatant attempt to exploit tenants and make them move out rather than provide a fair and reasonable living arrangement. Good Views of liberty tower and great community of helpful folk. My leasing agent, Kyle was very good and responsive and tried to help the best he can. Overall, my experience at Liberty Towers Apartment has been utterly oppressive and frustrating. The management's lack of concern for tenants' well-being and their relentless pursuit of profit at our expense has left me feeling cheated and disrespected..

And the other week when the water is on, it's not hot. There's ALOOOTTT of construction going on because they're worried about the new up and coming building and it's super loud, elevators are slow, hallways are always under some construction. We moved to Liberty Towers in June, and since then, we have been experiencing water shut-offs almost every week; the building has dirt everywhere. Some days, it takes 15 minutes to get an elevator down from your floor, so many times, I go through the stairs to be sure of the time it will take to get somewhere, and I live on the 23rd floor. The level of disrespect from the management is impressive. Recently, they started a valve replacement project; workers got to my unit, made a complete mess, and didn't clean a thing afterward. They got back the next day to finish the work and "finished" the work without installing a faucet in the bathtub and leaving part of the wall without tiles (there is clear cut filled with drywall, and that's it). After checking with the staff, they informed us that they decided to change the plans for the master bedroom bathroom, and it will be a standing shower after the renovation (that will happen when we leave), there was no communication about that whatsoever. On top of all the mess created by the constant water shut-offs and changes made to the unit I'm living in, there is a chronic issue with garbage smell; you can smell garbage in the hallways and even right in front of the main entrance. We have complained many times about this, so they clean and try to make it better to solve the maintenance tickets, but they do nothing to solve the root cause of the problem or to establish a more frequent cleaning schedule. It got even worse since they started the valve replacement work. It feels like they don't clean the hallways anymore because they know it will get dirty again, so why bother!? I understand that they are investing in the building and are focused on renovating parts of it, but they never told us about this in advance when we were planning to lease an apartment here, showing that they don't respect the tenants at all. We have a kid and are expecting a baby (about a month from now), and we are concerned about living with a newborn in such a messy place where management doesn't care. It's stressful and makes me to feel like a fool to be paying $4500 plus to live in such a mess. Hope you pick a better place to live. Update: took me more than 20 minutes today to get to an elevator in this building, added the screenshot of the building’s WhatsApp group. Who ever says our reviews are fake, I don’t know what they are getting from Veris.

Experiencia negativa: Update: over a week later - add two more photos of them leaving concrete, dust and garbage everywhere during the holidays. Also they are letting contractors use elevators so been waiting over 15 min for one every single day. First- I do not leave negative reviews.. ever. You can check my profile. However, this is something I feel strongly about warning others about moving here. This is quite literally the worst place I have ever lived, in my entire life. I moved into the building in July and broke my lease because of how unspeakably horrible the building and management is. I have not had hot water over 30 instances since July 2024... OVER 30! There has been numerous AL DAY water shut offs (over 10 instances) construction with 1 days notice, contractors in and out of your apartment (while you are not home) leaving mess, dust, etc- complete invasion of privacy. You are treated subhuman. The hallways are ripped up due to renovations and left like below causing us to breathe in dust and live in a nightmare for months during the holiday season. The elevators are constantly broken I could not FATHOM if there was ever an emergency- seriously. I have reported an elevator stopping mid floor thrashing 3 times and still is not fixed. You wait an average of 12-15 minutes a day for an elevator and last time people were here to fix one- the workers told me how unsafe they are and not taken care of. I hear someone sounding the alarm from being stuck in the elevator at least once or every other week. DO NOT CONSIDER EVER MOVING HERE. My decision to write this review is less about my satisfaction, but more because at this point it is not safe for anyone to live here. Few examples of the 200 emails we get of water shut offs below.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible management. I agree with all other people's reviews on construction, amenities, elevator, and water issues. I have never lived in a building that is mismanaged to this level. Our unit is a corner unit with constant wind draft in the winters. The management lies that they have done new facade work but draft still persists. Maintenance comes after 4 days of us blasting the heat at 80 and wearing sweat shirts and socks in our living room and tells us that we just feel colder. Our electricity bill is ~8x our summer electricity bill which is insane and after that we still feel cold.

Inspite of amenities getting shut down regularly, they charge full amenity fees for the entire year which just doesnt make sense. On top of it, we have draft in windows that management hasnt acknowledged and always keeps ignoring the issue telling us that we feel more cold than the average. Due to that we pay exorbitant high fees for electricity.

Experiencia negativa: Nice amenities and views, but also a lot of headache. -Maintenance requests are repeatedly dismissed as if there is no issue and the tenant doesn't know what they're talking about. -Living here is constantly noisy from renovations in this building, HVAC units in each room with overly loud fans, construction next door, and party boats on the river. -They failed to email me on several occasions to warn about water shut offs and about entry into my apartment for inspections/renovations. -Big rent renewal increases.

Experiencia negativa: I have been living in liberty towers for 2 years and they are the worst management group I have come across. They increased the amenity fee and we are not allowed to use half the amenity space but they rent it out at $350 an hour. There is renovation and construction noise constantly! The grill area is under renovation. They increased the amenity fee to pay for their renovations that we are not given access to. They shut the water off atleast once a week. And there's no hot water half the time. Elevators don't work properly. The NYCHa properties are in a better state than liberty towers.

They don't even bother to warn us anymore, I just wake up and turn on the faucet and there is no water. Repairs take days to get fixed or even responded to. Management is totally useless. Experiencia fantástica: Randy was super helpful with my ticket for the AC repair. I've submitted a ticket for an old unit that was due for replacement. The replacement took no longer than 15 minutes and the AC is working in a time of heat. Very appreciative and impressed.

Experiencia negativa: We are very disappointed in the management of Liberty Towers recently. - Our apartment had water leakage issues twice in May and June and my wedding ring was lost during that period. - Our groceries in the fridge were thrown away by the staff while our lease has not ended. They expect us to provide receipts to get reimbursed for their mistakes. - We returned the keys to the front desk and somehow it was not registered in the system. We've never experienced such issues before.

Experiencia negativa: Avoid this building at all costs. We have been living here since earlier this year and there have been constant issues. Water leak problems, elevators frequently breaking down, Water shut down, lost packages, take your pick. Most importantly, the current leasing and management team is the WORST I have ever seen. They are rude, unresponsive to tenant complaints, extremely poor in communication. The management wastes money in renovating things that are already in good shape - For eg. the common lounge area, library, work spaces which were in excellent condition are being renovated again and shut for the whole of summer... while neglecting serious basic infrastructure like elevators, water plumbing and investing in more maintenance teams and permanent fixures of leaks... Pipes break down frequently leading to water flooding that immediately permeates down several floors to so many apartments - just poor infrastructure. The nice and friendly staff at the reception are often relocated out and replaced by incompetent, rude people. There is also no security. Anyone can enter the building at any time and the ONE concierge handles packages, tenant calls, maintenance calls. We have pestered them about this and their only response is we are working on getting more staff-its been several months and still waiting. Would you still want to rent here ? I dont think so.

I've lived in this community for over 5 years, and while the floorplan and view are initially stunning, the experience has turned into a nightmare since Veris Residential took over management two years ago. Forget about consistent water and elevator access — we face outages weekly without any warning. They've shut down our party room and replaced it with an indoor garden gimmick, while now planning to close 80% of amenities for renovations without offering refunds. They've become inflexible, refusing lease transfers or sub-leasing, and showing no compassion for our need to upgrade to a larger apartment for our growing family. The most infuriating part? Their abysmal attitude. They dodge calls, ignore emails, and when you visit the office, they're outright rude. Just yesterday, a staff member slammed the door in my face when I arrived a few minutes before opening hours. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this place like the plague. Plus, there's major construction that will ultimately block the views and creates constant noise pollution.

Experiencia fantástica: Brian was very considerate, and very responsible for the change of my burnt outlet and AC. Good manner, very polite, finished everything (even change of a new AC in 30 mins)

Experiencia positiva: We were lucky and had an outstanding view when we lived there. The main word to describe life there is convenient: great location, services, and amenities. Pros: the view, golf simulator, great gym, kind staff, easy to walk dog to piers/parks, easiest commute to the city. Cons: the walls are thin, when there was an issue with the elevators, it was a nightmare and the fire alarm went off frequently enough

Experiencia negativa: Stayed at the Liberty Towers for close to three years. The first year was amazing. The management was responsive and on their toes. They took good care of the building and their residents. The second year and beyond was a nightmare! The staff could care less about issues in the building (water leaks, flooding in apartments due to rain or broken pipes, broken elevators almost everyday, the list goes on…) you could send a thousand emails to them and walk into the leasing office to talk and they’d not bother resolving the issue for you or just turn a blind eye. All they cares about was making money off of new residents. We finally left because they increased our rent by more than 65% (we were NOT on Covid rent) and the issues were too much to ignore.

Experiencia fantástica: Nicole the leasing agent was amazing to work with. Very professional and always responded in a timely manner. Sent over any photos or videos requested of the property and made my apartment searching experience a pleasant one. Would recommend Nicole to everyone !

Experiencia negativa: A mice got in our unit (YES ). Building gives no call response, no resolution plan whatsoever until days later. Most people you talk to don’t really track their words on “I’ll update you later” or “I noted this”. Maintenance failed to show up on scheduled time twice in a row as they see no emergency to live with disease-spreading rodents for longer. (Also thanks to their busy schedule, our move-in fixes didn’t get handled in weeks later) The place is fine when everything goes perfect. And you’re totally on your own when anything happens. Read those “Veris promises” in opposite.
