Experiencia fantástica: My name is Peter and I would like to share my experience of living at the wonderful Haus 25. Haus 25 is the only place to be in Jersey City. I moved in back in June 2023 not only is it a beautiful building that is brand new it is because of the staff that makes me feel right at home. Janice Grosso is the leasing manager of the building and she was the one who toured me around the complex and it took me one hour to decide that this was going to be my new home. Janice is great, relatable to her residents and makes you feel at home. I just signed a long term lease to stay! I love it here! Hard to believe one year is almost done! Jessica and Tim are also exceptional in the leasing office. I have to say when it comes to issues in my unit which are very slim as my unit is beautiful and well kept. I place a request in and within hours my issue is taken care of no matter how minor it is or maybe it is a bit of a larger issue which again has never really happened. William in engineering is the best. I always enjoy seeing him he helps me with any issue I have and is always a pleasure to have him work on my unit. He always explains what he has done and how the issue has been solved. Back in the summer my AC went out which is to be expected based on how cold I like to run my unit. William went the extra mile above and beyond and did not stop until I had a working AC before the end of a hot July day. They know I love my unit cold. Just amazing customer service. You have a gem in William. Concerige team is spectacular. Erica at the desk is always a pleasure to see and I wish I had everyone’s name but they always remember me in the package room or at the desk. I enjoy stopping by from time to time to see how everyone is doing and they always ask about my day or we joke about hockey or something like that. The pool is amazing the amenities are first class. The rooftop sky lounge is second to none. I’m proud to call Haus 25 home and I will be here for the long term! You will make great friends living here as well. So many of my friends are now people I’ve met living here. It is hard to find a staff in a complex that cares so much. It’s the team here that makes me stay along with the views and everything else. Keep it up Haus 25 we have the best building in JC and Hoboken and the NYC metro area! Proud resident here! Come join us in first class living!

Experiencia fantástica: After touring at least 15 buildings in Jersey City, Haus25 stood out as the perfect combination of quality, amenities and location. The building is beautiful, the amenities are top-notch and the gym in particular is excellent. Janice from the leasing team was a pleasure to work with and she was able to quickly find a unit that met all my expectations and more. She was also incredibly helpful with the move-in process and helped make sure I was squared away logistically. Overall, I've been in the building for a couple of weeks now and it has been a great experience so far.

Experiencia fantástica: Janice is such an asset to the Hause Team. I have been living there for 4 years. We moved in when the building opened. Janice was wonderful in helping to decide which unit would fit our needs. When ever i had a queston or needed assistance she was always there to help.

Experiencia fantástica: In November of 2019 we stumbled upon a true gem of Jersey City. It was a Friday evening, right before close, and we took a chance on an apartment managed by Veris called the BLVD. For three years Janice created our family’s home and we could not dream of a better experience. Again, after three years in Milan, returning to Jersey City and Janice once again helped find our home. Her care, commitment to understanding what we were looking for across the portfolio, size, direction of view, amenities, culture of the building landed us at Haus25 and again, Janice was right. This was the best environment. Staff is courteous and helpful, the gym and pool area is top of the line, and the building is filled with helpful and great people. It’s an environment that feels like home, and filled with family. Janice has and always will be a part of our family, Orlando, Andre, and the new members at Haus25. There’s just something special about the Veris staff. The approach, the care. Without a doubt, trust in sharing your perfect space with Janice and she will not let you down.

The amenities are great, everyone is incredibly friendly, and the apartments have very comfortable layouts, and top notch finishes. From scheduling to resident communication, everything runs smoothly because of her attention to detail. Her efficiency and professionalism make it easy for partners like us to deliver high-quality programming. It’s clear she genuinely cares about creating meaningful experiences for residents while also making sure her vendors feel supported. We truly value the partnership.

Experiencia negativa: If you want to avoid potential discrimination or disrespect, do yourself a favor and don’t deal with the front desk staff: William. I’m so disappointed with my recent experiences involving a front desk member named William. 1. Golf room reservation issue: I had a confirmed booking through the Veris app, but the room was double-booked. I voluntarily agreed to end my session early to be cooperative. Despite this, William came in with an accusatory tone, dismissed the proof of my reservation, and insisted I leave immediately. His attitude was rude and completely unnecessary, especially since I had booked first. 2. Front desk interaction: On another occasion, I politely asked for help printing a file and was ignored for almost two minutes. When he finally responded, he told me JPG files “cannot be printed” and asked me to come back another time. Moments later, however, he printed the exact same JPG file he had just claimed was impossible. His behavior felt dismissive and inconsistent. Because these negative interactions have happened more than once — and because his tone toward me is noticeably different from how he treats other residents — I am uncomfortable and concerned about whether I am being treated unfairly. I am not making accusations, but the pattern is troubling. Management should seriously review these incidents and ensure that all residents are treated with professionalism and respect.

Experiencia negativa: Multiple intrusive fire alarm tests every month — sometimes going off at 8 a.m. and waking you up from sleep — have already become outright illegal harassment. Sometimes the gym closes at midnight, and other times staff come in at 11:30 p.m. to make people leave, which makes no sense at all. Why isn’t the gym open 24 hours despite the high fees we pay? Are you seriously worried that someone might spend the night in the gym?

Experiencia negativa: The fire alarm tests happen almost every month and have basically become a form of harassment. What’s even more ridiculous is that I really can’t imagine any place that would conduct a prolonged fire alarm test at eight o’clock in the morning. We should be able to sue you for compensation for the emotional distress this has caused us. And the dog park gets closed as soon as it snows. The high facility fees we pay are supposed to go toward snow removal, not toward shutting the dog park down completely.

She answered all of our questions thoroughly and made everything feel smooth and stress-free. Thanks to her guidance, we were able to secure our apartment quickly and confidently. We truly appreciate her professionalism and kindness. We can't wait to move in!

Experiencia fantástica: Haus 25 is amazing. Amenities galore and the maintenance staff is very attentive and responsive. Kevin & his staff are all fantastic.

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely awful experience - network panel power is controlled by light switches (so network is done when light is off…); only 2 elevators for moving/large items and can be down on the same day and no one takes care of it; no response from management team and the only answer you get is to use their portal app - which of course can’t solve your problems.

Experiencia negativa: I recently toured Haus25 and was genuinely impressed by the amenities and location. On paper, it checks a lot of boxes for families. However, after speaking with friends who live in the building, I heard about recent access checks involving caregivers that gave me pause. As a parent of two young children, I’m used to kids visiting each other’s apartments to play, and parents being invited into one another’s homes. This is very common across families of all backgrounds. Learning that some long-time caregivers may be subject to additional scrutiny made me uncomfortable and caused me to rethink moving forward. For me, how policies are applied day to day matters just as much as the building itself. I hope management can clarify and apply policies consistently so families and caregivers feel equally welcome.

Experiencia negativa: Careful, this building will nickel and dime you in every way possible. I lived here from when the building first opened to August of this year. Locked out? That will be $150 for the concierge to simply hand you the spare key fob. Also was charged nearly $600 on move out for non-descript “flooring”, “counter” and “door”. Asked for photo of said damage and was never given any. I did not see anything that wasn’t normal wear and tear upon move out, nor did they do a walkthrough with me. What’s more, the building is severely lacking in security. Random people coming in and out all the time from vagrants, to solicitors, to burglars. Theft was a major issue — one of my neighbors had their car broken into, and numerous reports of attempted burglary. It’s supposed to be a “luxury” building but even has subsidized housing units . . . The staff is nice though, just the management really needs work.

The building is super clean, leasing office and concierge desk is always helpful and prompt with their responses. Amenities are great (clean and well maintained!). Edit after 3.5 years of stay: special shoutout to Abe and his team!

Experiencia negativa: First thing first. I loved the building as it’s super convenient for ppl who have dog and working out daily. The gym and dog park is 10 out of 10. BUT the leasing office or the overall Veris management is terrible. Long story short, in my past 20 months here, I missed the payment due date twice but all got paid fully when I noticed, while I have been asked to drop off money order or cashier check for next 6 month due to my two times of payment delay ( one of them is caused by Bilt). For everyone who knows how packed up the nearby USPS is and the fact that the leasing office opens at 10 am, I will have to take the time off just to drop off the money order. I was trying to COMMUNICATE for some flexibility and the only answer I have is “unfortunately “ also the privileged leasing office dressed it as “ it’s your responsibility to ensure you have enough funds”. I’m just writing down my true story here and you all can decide if you’d like to stay in a well facilitated building without any community support and pay relatively expensive rent to this luxury community. And why am I finally writing down my review? Just me woke up early to get the money order and took the first few hours off wanting to drop off the payment and saw the leasing office is closed today lol Have a great day then

Experiencia fantástica: We were one of the first people to move into Haus25 and there's a reason we stayed for so long. It starts with Janice. Janice was our Haus25 fairy godmother - so kind, accommodating, responsive, and caring. That extends to her staff, the doormen, package people, and maintenance. This building is truly run as a community, not a business. The building itself is incredible, we never had any issue with the apartment or any amenities. Our apartment was great and the view can't be beat. Loved living here, only reason we moved out is because we bought a house!

Experiencia fantástica: I was one of the first tenants to confirm, Janice is outstanding in the leasing office, she understands the customer needs, and she helped make the entire process smooth. The asset quality and quality of service of the Haus25 leasing office team led by Janice and Dominick is second to none! Specifically, the building finishes are really good, the common areas are well kept, and the amenities are great, the staff is friendly. The social events a plus too, overall, I am pleased with the leasing and recommend other folks who are looking for a great quality product near the city to move in!

Experiencia fantástica: I moved into Haus 25 over 2 weeks ago coming from West Virginia. It was rather a long process to decide on which of the many apartment complexes in Jersey City to live in. After long deliberation I chose Haus 25. The housing/lease manager - Mr Joseph Turro- was very professional in all of the many many questions that I peppered him with throughout this initial process. He was always quickly responsive and patient with me. He came in on a Saturday to give my wife and I a tour before we signed our lease. He was not scheduled to do so. Even after I moved into Haus I had a few requests and he had all my requests completed within the hour. After living in my home in WV for 25 years and transitioning to apartment living at Haus 25 has been a breeze. The concierge front door staff have been exceedly friendly and professional- especially William! The mail room is a delight and have had received all my deliveries without difficulty! The water has always been warm, the elevators are very fast and are of minimal wait, my studio is very quiet and do not realize I even have neighbors, the complex is well maintained and always clean. I truly love living here and I can assure you Joe Turro will take good care of you! My one little suggestion is for the management to give you longer than 3 hours” to move in! When you have to lay carpets, set up beds, get 60 boxes in and remove the larger boxes -3 hours is pushing it- even with a professional moving company. Maybe it should be 4 hours? Otherwise, a 5 star review and really love living here! It was a great decision for me!

Experiencia negativa: 2025 UPDATE!! BEWARE WHEN YOU MOVE OUT! Living here was great, but the Veris Residential is charging us $2000 for “damage” to floors and countertops which is not true (and they didn’t have any video or photographic proof). We took videos of the apartment after we left and it was in great shape!! We’ve never had our deposit retained by any landlord as we’ve always kept our apartment in great shape. We had cleaners coming every week and were meticulous. Very disappointing.

Experiencia fantástica: I just moved into Haus25. Kevin, in maintenance, gave me an overview of my appliances etc and did a great job going over many details that I missed. He also helped me with my thermostat and checked all my outlets to make sure they’re working. This was an impromptu overview and I appreciate the time he took to go over everything with me and answer all of my questions. You can tell that he enjoys what he does. He’s very knowledgeable and super friendly. Update 8/27/25: After living here for a year, I wanted to add an update. I've loved living here and hope to stay. The staff really make such a huge difference. Justin at concierge is amazing, super friendly and my dog Fritz loves him - he's always so excited to see Justin to get cookies from him :). Abe is also so amazing, he is so on top of everything, so friendly, really makes picking up packages enjoyable (aside from the obvious of opening my packages). Kevin, Daniel, Will, Yesenia, Bilah and everyone else that I am missing from concierge and the package room are all so wonderful and friendly and just really awesome. The maintenance team is also really great. Basically everyone that works here is amazing and really makes living here so enjoyable. Highly recommend this building!!

Super communicative, professional, and also a very likable person—it’s always a pleasure interacting with him. I really appreciate that he even lets me enjoy the amenities as they should be rocking and rolling when I’m making use of them. Experiencia negativa: Not worth the sky high price, I had posted this review a while back as I was moving out but the leasing manager used my deposit as leverage to get me to remove it: Terribly small washer dryer machine that destroyed 90% of my clothes, shrunk most of them. You also have to do small loads, will take an entire day to do laundry for two people. Amenities not worth the price, golf simulator constantly broken, table tennis has wooden net, Billiards sticks beat up and broken and balls missing, and poker set has ripped up card. pool & grills are well maintained though. Overall plenty of other options at lower or similar price point, don’t get hustled by this building overcharging all because it’s a new building, they cut corners in a lot of places to bring their profit margins up.

I have been a dog walker here for 13 years and must say that I always look forward to going to 25Haus where I am always kindly greeted and assisted by awesome and always attentive concierge like, Daniel Mosquera! The building is always well kept and even the maintenence staff always waves and smiles at me. Beautiful place with wonderful people.

Experiencia positiva: Building quality has definitely degraded, lowering the rating. Lots of people who don’t live in the building use the gym. The swimming pool is always crowded so good luck if you want to have a good time there. The concierge and package staff is amazing though. Even during holiday times they haven’t lost a single package, that deserves a shout out. ———— I've been living in this area for quite a while now, and have lived in several buildings in this area - I can say without doubt that this is THE BEST building in JC. The building layout and amenities are very well thought out and the furnishings/aesthetics are really amazing. Before I was visiting the building for a tour, I wasn't in a mood to move here as this building was way more expensive than other buildings in the area, but the moment we entered the building we felt like it was definitely a standout from other buildings we had lived or toured. The Concierge was so nice to talk to, the lobby itself had such a nice vibe to it (even when it was unfurnished at the time). Our leasing agent, Patricia was really helpful throughout our tour. By the time we finished our tour with Patricia, we were already sold on the apartment and filled the application the same day (!) even though it was way over budget. The Concierge staff are really nice and greet us everytime we cross the lobby, the corridors are well maintained and there are 8 high speed elevators which are really really helpful. We lived prior to this at 70 Greene, which had a horrible elevator problem. I'm so pleased everytime I come back home to haus25 and definitely recommend this building to everyone! Not to mention, their amenities are top class - it doesn't get any better than this. My only wish is that they maintain this consistency over the years!

Experiencia negativa: This building is honestly out of control. Every summer weekend, they blast extremely loud music from morning until sunset at their open rooftop swimming pool. As someone living nearby, I really don’t understand why they need to turn the volume up so high like all of them are deaf — you can hear that obnoxious noise from blocks away. It’s disruptive, unpleasant, and frankly ridiculous. LCDTM.

The building is beautifully maintained, and any repairs or maintenance requests are handled promptly—often the same day. The concierge staff is always friendly, polite, and helpful—our kids genuinely enjoy chatting with them. The amenities are top-tier and always spotless, from the gym and lounges to the outdoor spaces. The location is unbeatable: Whole Foods is right across the street, there’s easy access to the PATH and Light Rail, and one of New Jersey’s best elementary schools is just steps away. It’s also a very family-friendly building, with a great sense of community. The building—and everything about it—is exceptional, because the leasing office and support staff are exceptional. In particular, Janice (the Leasing Director) brings a level of care and dedication that truly elevates the Haus25 experience. She’s quick to respond and always approachable, striking the perfect balance of efficiency, warmth, and professionalism. From casual hallway conversations to thoughtfully planned resident events, her involvement is felt throughout the building. Earlier this year, we were seriously considering moving. Janice patiently guided us through our options and ultimately helped us renew with a great offer—without ever being pushy. We’ve stayed at Haus25 because it offers more than just luxury amenities—it offers a true sense of home, thanks in large part to Janice, the staff, and the building’s excellent management.

Joseph Turro’s knowledge and expertise made it easy for my family to feel comfortable, impressive. The calibre of staff and his guidance gave me a lot of confidence. Joseph from leasing was great and welcoming from the beginning, and the entire building team is professional and so friendly. They make this feel like a warm community. The amenities are unmatched (e.g., pool, bowling alley, gold simulator, dog park, etc.), the views are incredible, and the units are sleek & nice. The building is well-maintained and very clean. It's dog-friendly (all breeds welcome) and family-friendly (can get a bit rambunctious, as expected with kids). Excellent location. Rent is steep and only going up, but if you're looking for a luxurious residential building in Jersey City, this is the place to spend.

Experiencia fantástica: I lived at Haus for 18month and it’s truly one of the best buildings I’ve stayed at. The space is clean and I’ve used the amenities more at that building than any of my other apartments. Dom and his team in the leasing office really listen and accommodate where they can. One con is that I had to move out because the rent there got too high but I still miss the building. One major pro is that I moved out and received my full security deposit with no fuss. Most places try to claw something out of it and this place was no nonsense. All in all the staff is very professional and the building runs very well.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been living at Haus25 since it opened three years ago, and I continue to be extremely impressed by the staff from the leasing office to the front desk and mail room. Everyone is friendly, professional, and always willing to help. A fun note about the amenities: the building recently upgraded to TrackMan, which is one of the best golf simulator systems available. They also refreshed all the turf in the simulator area and continue to find ways to improve what I already considered the best amenity space in the building. That says a lot, given how impressive the gym and pool areas are. Recently, building management began organizing internal golf tournaments and even gave away tickets to the LPGA tournament at Liberty National. It was a great experience, and more importantly, it gave me the chance to connect more closely with my neighbors. Overall, Haus25 truly cares about its residents. They are always finding creative ways to build a sense of community and give back.

Experiencia fantástica: my husband and i have lived in a few luxury buildings in jersey city and Haus25 is by far the best place we've ever lived. The staff is so kind and attentive to all requests and needs. the apartments are constructed very well - this is the first apartment where we dont hear neighbors above/below or next to us. plenty of kitchen, bathroom and closet space - you'll find it hard to match this in any other building in jc. the amenities offer so many areas to play or just relax - whatever your preference. and they have not one but 2 dog areas to meet all your pups play needs. Haus25 is a bit on the higher price point than other buildings, but you get what you pay for and its well worth it.

Experiencia negativa: Beautiful building. Great amenities. However, word is that you never get to use any for the money you pay. Apartments can be a little on the small side. Rent is sky high. The landlord, Veris Residential, is a named defendant in a Rent-Fixing Lawsuit in the county per article published today. Not much of a shocker.

The amenities are top-notch, the front desk concierge staff are always friendly and helpful, and the building is very well maintained. Sadly, I'm moving out next month — I would have never left if it weren’t for the rent hike. Just be prepared for a significant rent increase when your lease is up.

Many thanks to the leasing manager, Joseph Turro, who put a lot of effort into helping me find my perfect apartment. Communication was easy and I appreciated him showing me multiple units over the course of many days until I felt confident in my decision.

Dominick once told us that Haus25 is the best place to stay in Jersey City - and I agree!

I’ve encountered some technical issues and have not been able to gain access to the MyVeris app (the community app for all service communications and bill payments) and Joe and Dom have gone above and beyond to facilitate work arounds to complete necessary tasks while the app is down. Highly recommend the building and appreciate Joe and Dom’s efforts in facilitating my move.

It's got a fantastic team overall and the concierge team specially Jose, Jesse and Justin are always so helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in a luxury building in downtown Jersey city to give Haus25 a look, the proximity to the PATH train and WholeFoods next door make it stand out from all other buildings near by.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give zero stars, I would. Haus25 has shown itself to be completely unethical when it comes to handling security deposits. They refused to return my full deposit over a **tiny** scratch on the refrigerator—something that could have been regular wear and tear. Worse yet, they failed to provide any valid receipts or evidence for the supposed "repair costs." This is nothing but a blatant **money grab**. A reputable building should have transparent and fair policies, but Haus25 clearly prioritizes squeezing extra cash from tenants over honesty. If you’re considering living here, **think twice**—because when it’s time to get your deposit back, you may find yourself dealing with the same shady tactics. Unacceptable and completely unprofessional. Rent elsewhere!

Special shout out to William Vega and Kevin Tejada from the maintenance team. William and Kevin are absolute god send. Every time we have any issues, we put in a request through the app and William or Kevin are here within minutes to resolve the problem. Jose, Daniel; part of the Haus25 concierge team are so pleasant to interact with. I’m sure I’m not able to recall everyone’s name but this building truly offers a great living experience.

Experiencia fantástica: This is by far one of the best places to live, in the entire Hudson County, you are literally minutes away from NYC. The building has so many amazing features I don't know where to start! The gym is huge and always upkept and clean, my wife loves yoga Saturdays, they have a room exclusively for yoga. On the weekends we enjoy using the bowling room with friends, and Karaoke room, but my personal favorite is the golf simulator. I can go on and on because they have so many amenities, but besides all these things what makes Haus-25 so special to us is the staff. From Patricia and everyone in the office, down to Daniel and everyone at the front desk and package room, and most importantly Kevin and his maintenance team make sure if you have any issues, to address things immediately.From changing my smoke detector batteries to changing the filters in the fridge, Kevin makes sure any maintenance concerns get taken care of quickly and efficiently. We love living here and don't plan on leaving anytime soon.
