Experiencia negativa: A group of scam artists. My building has been trying to retrieve my rent money that I paid to Rezi while they were managing the property for over a year. They are incredibly difficult to reach once you've signed a lease and have been avoiding contact after they returned the building to the landlord. The contact number they have on the site gives a busy tone when I try to call. Before, there would at least be an automated voice message with an option to leave a message. I don't see how they are allowed to still operate in this city.
Experiencia negativa: The Rezi platform and process was fine. The apartment complex (The Terraces 21st Street Texas City) is an absolute, disgusting dump. Found multiple roaches a day! Management is not very helpful and is rude and uncooperative to spanish speakers. I have been waiting for over 4 months for my deposit to be returned despite multiple letters. Other former residents are having the same problem. Laundry rooms are disgusting. When I opened work orders they were just closed out without being done.
Experiencia positiva: The process of applying was very easy! you find out within minutes of applying if you are approved or not and you are able to pay the deposit and rent right away!!!
Experiencia negativa: My experience with Rezi has been terrible. There is a saying you get what you pay for. The day of my apartment showing they cancelled. They asked if I would be willing to rent the apartment without seeing it, but via a virtual tour. Then they took my deposit. They then claimed their system was having a malfunction and couldn’t “verify” my credentials and were refunding my money. They had not refunded my deposit for several days making it difficult to give another property a full deposit. Quick to withdraw slow to refund. They don’t value their tenants. It’s more of an online property management company on the cheap because it’s digital. REZI is what happens when a company focuses more on tech and less on the human element. This is a concept based on technology not the human element and joy of finding a home.
Experiencia positiva: The rental process was great. However, now a year later, we cannot get in touch with ANYONE at REZI by any means to sign the lease renewal. The main phone number disconnects! Emails and text messages go unanswered. We are eager to sign the renewal if someone will get in touch with us. Sending USPS Priority mail to see if we can get in touch with ANYONE.
Experiencia negativa: Walked the apartment property, signed the lease, and paid the deposit and 1st month's rent. As I am LITERALLY picking up the key to move-in, the staff in the leasing office are talking to families discussing how to get them moved-out due to the complex being demolished in order to make way for highway construction plans... No one is picking up my calls or returning my voice messages. The REZI system has been giving me "automated" emails informing me that their system is in the middle of an upgrade (has been upgrading for a little over a month now). Now when I call, I get a dial tone as if the number is no longer in service. It is the number on their website and the tenant dashboard. I just wanted to move into my first apartment. But now there is no point. I have no idea when they will force the move-out, if I'll get compensated with a new apartment, or how to cancel the lease. I feel like I am stuck in limbo.
Experiencia negativa: The company collected rents and failed to send them. There is zero customer service. The phones are never answered we’ve left dozens of messages and sent emails and haven’t received a call back. Beware of this company. There is no way to resolve issues because there is no one to communicate with.
Experiencia fantástica: All I can say is Chris my leasing agent is the man!!!!! Very attentive and aided me in making my dreams and goals a reality. Can’t wait to move in and continue with my evolution. Would leave a billion stars if I could.

Throughout the application duration, I called them back when I was stuck on a few pages and they picked up the phone immediately every time and guided me through the steps. Experiencia negativa: The apartment that I ended up staying in, had Resy as a landlord and they were horrible. They charged me for charges that I didn’t even do and I had proof of pictures. Never will I recommend this place or stay in a building with rezi as the owner.
Experiencia positiva: All good. But the Rezi website sometimes doesn't work, and my super is unwelcoming. I have yet to receive any welcome letter with instructions for the property building, how to pay for the utilities, how to use the Parcel Pending storage, who I have to contact in an emergency in the building, etc.

Yes the move in process was very fast but they just want to take your money! This is a terrible company and NEVER get an apartment at the Nest in Austin Texas.. that place needs to be shut down forever.. They never answer the phone so if you have a problem don't worry about it they're not going to fix it.. Impossible to reach anyone unless you physically drive to an office.. I literally HATE this company..

Experiencia fantástica: I must say as this has been an daunting task to say the least looking for an apartment in NYC. I booked a viewing to see a unit via REZI. The return of my inquiry was prompt, as well as their follow-up/confirmation. Also, while I was viewing the unit I received text messages just asking me about my experience while I was there. A young woman by the name of Delsy, met me at the site to assist in showing the unit of my interest. Delsy, was sooo amazing!!! she was thorough with what she was showing me, she answered all of my concerns and questions. She was gentle and patience. After the tour was done Ben, reached out and just as Delsy very very patient, respectful, and very transparent about my options and pros and cons. The best experience I have had thus far. Experiencia fantástica: REZI made applying for an apartment super quick and easy. There were only a few steps that I needed to take to complete both my application and lease signing. I loved that I had the option to pre-lease an apartment, especially because of how hard it is to find quality apartments for a decent price in NYC. I had the support of a REZI rep, Ben, who was there to support me from the beginning to end. I would definitely use REZI in the future and recommend to friends and family.

He showed me floor plans that only met my requirements and narrowed down what I was looking for in minutes. He was informative about the neighborhood, was authentic in sharing details, and had a genuine presence about him that made me feel comfortable enough to select a home almost instantly after an exhausting month of touring. I even got the move in date I wanted, and the Chris explained the entire application process to me so well I had no questions. The residents I did meet in this community were very nice, and I got to see how residents connect their phones via Bluetooth to community speakers in amenity areas. This was a great bonus point to me because I frequently spent time in amenity areas with friends and other neighbors, so it’s great to know we don’t have to listen to elevator music. Chris was one of the most inviting leasing consultants I’ve ever worked with, and because of his professionalism and high quality standards, I am excited to not move into another apartment that feels like a combine, but into a community.

Experiencia negativa: I rented from a Rezi unit in Wellington Fl and they have been holding up a credit that was approved by the owners due to having to leave early from toxic black mold growing inside the wall of a leaking A/C that began in February. It’s been two months since I was forced to move out and they will not return phone calls or emails to resolve this credit, even though the property owners themselves are also emailing them for the transfer of funds. This whole experience with them has been an unpleasant one. All I’m asking for is the credit back from the half of April I wasn’t there for. That is the least I should get from this whole ordeal.
Experiencia fantástica: I literally never leave reviews but my experience with Nicole from Rezi was just too incredible. She went above and beyond to help my roommate and I get an apartment. We didn’t like one apartment and she went ahead and scheduled us for two showings the next day, checked in on us, sent us all the info for applying and talked us through every step. The process itself was so quick. It took 5 minutes to fill the application (no fees of any kind) and we knew whether or not we got approved. All they required was our security and first month and we signed the lease within minutes. Nicole was so patient and helpful. We ran into a hiccup and in the middle of the night she got her manager to help fix it for us (when it was our fault). New York City apartment applications are usually the most inconvenient, frustrating and time consuming process. I’m so thankful that it was such a breeze this time around because of them. Very pleased!!!

Experiencia negativa: First they promised a $50 Amazon card to view the property. They never gave it to me. Even after I completed the survey they required. Then they said I was approved and took $7500 as a deposit. Then had trouble verifying my full income as a realtor and denied me. Making me wait 5-10 business days for a refund. Their process is a bit backwards if you ask me.

Will tell you you’re approved have you pay 1 at month rent then cancel your lease after you have signed & issue refund . Worst experience ever. Will never work with him again. Experiencia negativa: Update - Absolutely terrible experience after leasing . Rest assured you would never be able to speak to anyone .. sent several emails and left so many voice messages. Offered me a 6 month lease and increased the rent by 15 % after 3 months, like who does that. Now I have to start house hunting all over again. They Leave you very helpless and frustrated with absolutely no one to communicate with.. don’t get deceived their initial prompt communication, all an effort to keep sucking you dry..

She was very professional and patient answering the millions of questions and I had about the property. So far the best customer service I have experienced in my search for a new home. Experiencia negativa: Applied for an apartment in houston with high hopes as the agent by the name of Chris was very welcoming to and generous.I paid my deposit/ first months rent and signed my lease only to find out they are having issues with verifying my pay stubs after the fact I signed a lease and payed. I called and called for several days to reach out for help as I was not understanding how the documents I submitted are being rejected. Not to mention I advised I can cal my work place and have all information verified. Yet no response. Instead of assisting me, Alyson Vivattanpa would rather forward me emails from the snap team. And now $1400 on the whole later, and all I have to show for is a rejected lease I signed, a forward email and no one that is willing to return my calls or reach out to me personally offer the phone. The agent Chris I originally spoke with, number is not valid anymore and this process turned out to be a complete mess. I hope they really get it together. For further references, please do not pay first months rent until you are 100% getting the keys because they will make you sign the lease and have you thinking everything is good for the move in, just to railroad you into a rejection with a message that you will receive your refund in 5/10 business days as we all know that is not true.

I had a few issues because I was excited and I’m not that savvy with the internet but Mr. Mason answered all of my emails and went over some of the issues I was having. They were helpful and also patient and that meant a lot. My kids are super excited for a bigger place and I really appreciate how nice they were to me over the phone. I will definitely recommend Rezi to my family and friends.

Experiencia negativa: REZI NY & Inspire-Colton - Los Angeles: horrible! Not safe and very little parking. Terrible leasing management. Was told plenty of parking, Absolutely not! This is the view from the balcony, people living in campers with their chair on the sidewalk. Rezi transferred lease to Inspire-Colton and a total fiasco, rent went up $179.00 a month, and we had emails documented from the Rezi employee, signed their rider but they don't allow redlining. Totally one sided. Always have a lawyer review your lease as leases are all protecting them, not the tenant. Glad I documented everything and my friend is a real estate lawyer. Plenty of better places out there!
Experiencia negativa: Are you a property manager thinking of hiring Rezi? Let me save you two years of anguish! Don't. Rezi will impress you with their sleek pitch, tech, and seemingly good customer service. However, once you've signed the dotted line - the service stops there! You are essentially paying them a 20% broker fee to set up some lockboxes and whine to you for the next two years. They don't even really earn their fee, every super in every building I've had with them detests their agents, who are impolite and demanding, even as far as degrading. 0 respect! They never accept responsibility for anything, and are quick to blame in all respects. But rest assured, I am not alone in detesting this company. As an industry professional for over 10 years, every big-time developer and landlord I've worked with and spoken to has not renewed after the initial contract is up with Rezi.

Experiencia fantástica: Rezi has helped us in our most difficult times of our lives. We were semi homeless, but living in a family home full of pure hatred, jealous, money and food greed. It was sad and pathetic and more so, destroying my mental health, my son started cussing because of who he's around (and I had no control of who to keel him from, plus, who wants their 6 yr old locked up in a bedroom full up suitcases and a mattress, and no TV. ) Thankfully Rezi (Primarily the amazingly patient and caring Donnie and Beautiful Marielle) were at the top of their game trying to help us find a suitable, affordable, and comfortable place to call home. After many attempts and burdens, we finally found an apartment that fits out needs. All thanks to Donnie and Marielle!!

I can’t thank him and Rezi enough for how helpful they were in finding this Arizona girl a new home in Texas! Experiencia positiva: It was a good experience, the only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't change the lease end date but I was able to change the start date of the lease. They were very informative, let me know as soon as the apartment I was looking at was rented, it was very easy to find another one. They kept me updated with everything.

Experiencia negativa: A complete waste of time… they’ll send emails everyday telling you to complete applications but NEVER AND MEAN NEVER available to help. They don’t respond to emails and when you call they still don’t help. Apparently tabitha is the only one to put in information from rent assistance vouchers but she doesn’t do nothing! Been waiting for her to reach back out to me for over 2 months while getting reminded that apartments I’m trying to apply to are no longer available because Ms ma’am don’t do her job!
Experiencia fantástica: This is the first time in over 25 years that my husband and I went through the process of apartment hunting and needless to say it has been overwhelming and starkly different!! However the leasing agent at Rezi, Jason Mason, is an absolute professional. Mr. Mason was attentive, called us throughout the process to make sure we were ok, answered every question and addressed every concern. Mr. Mason exhibited patience and understood my anxiety. We are thankful for the chance to have worked with him.

Experiencia negativa: I am very unhappy I came all the way from queens to the Bronx to see an apartment that when I was already in love with. The leasing agent Tabitha emailed me back and said this unit is no longer available. Never tried to offer other units available just did not acknowledge me anymore after that. I have a section 8 Voucher and my time is ticking and not even with that said they didn't take into consideration showing an apartment that is no longer available

Literally viewed the property filled out free of charge application and got in a unit in less than 24hours. I’m so happy i chose REZI and super excited to be leasing with them! Experiencia negativa: Awful experience with the entire REZI team. I had a bug infestation in my apartment for a week due to exterior circumstances. The apartment was untenable, it took them 7 days to resolve the issue. They deemed that as an "appropriate amount of resolution time" and I would not receive any compensation (not even for the fly traps) for the time I was out of my apartment. I have a handful more experiences with them, but am including pictures of the worst offense.

Experiencia negativa: BUYER BEWARE. Current Tenant. Hope this helps! You are required to contact an automated system for any contractual needs which include maintenance requests or reletting. I’ve never reached an actual person. If you look them up on LinkedIn they’re only a 50 person startup company out of New York and are using AI to run most of their operations. Which makes sense why no one responds^ My advice is to sign with the property they are leasing through. Rezi is just a contracted management company not the actual property owners.. the experience is better by finding the apartment you want and then calling the property owner which should be easy enough to figure out by searching the apartment name as opposed to the management company (Rezi)

Experiencia negativa: Do not rent from here!! They do NOT answer the phone. I talked to someone about leasing a apartment and they were consistent for about two days. Then I didn’t hear from anyone for about 2weeks… no matter how many emails I left and calls. I did not hear back for weeks, when I did get a response finally the guy told me he was on vacation and he didn’t direct me in which way to go to get ahold of someone. . They had the perfect apartment for me and my son, by the time someone FINALLY got back to me, my dream apartment was already leased out. I’m taking it as a blessing from god. After reading all the bad reviews this company has, he saved me from the headache lol .. as if now, I can’t imagine having REZI as my leasing management due to there poor communication & customer service experience.

Experiencia negativa: I signed a lease and everything after being approved then got unapproved after they sent my documents to a third party who said my paystubs were "suspicious of fraudulent activity" when I requested them TWICE from my job AND already signed the lease. Also for about a week straight I called and emailed them with no response until Caprice a very nice lady contacted me and actually helped me. I really needed the place for my son and I and unfortunately had to remain at the hotel we have been staying at.

Experiencia negativa: Rezi is awful with maintenance and repair. They don’t do a good job at all and it takes months for them to do anything. It took them 10 months to repair 3 small floor panels. They constantly lie about pretty much everything and keep increasing their prices. Rezi has really bad customer service too. They don’t care whatsoever and don’t even bother to try.

Experiencia negativa: Good luck getting someone on the phone. I’m an agent who helped a client get a unit here for 08/1 move in on a 2-bedroom unit. They had an incentive where if client signed lease prior to 8/1 she would obtain a Mac Book pro air. Client and I have no success getting someone on the phone to answer inquiries.
